During the development of the Jotun Valkyrie, a FAST (Fuel and Sensor Tactical) pack module was designed that was capable of linking onto the back plate of its GBP-2 armor. Similar to the two NP-BP-01 FAST packs used by the Super Valkyrie, the 'C' variant (for center) was only mounted singly. As such, its Pratt & Whitney +EF-2001 thruster does not provide as much thrust as the Super Valkyrie. Unlike the NP-BP-01, the 'C' model has six NBS-1 vernier thrusters, three mounted on each side, for maneuverability. When the Jotun Valkyrie transforms to battloid or gerwalk modes, the GBP-2 chest plate separates in half and locks on either side of the FAST pack. The HMMP-02 missile pod was commonly mounted on the front of the pack, but it had the option of mounting a Mauser Rö-X24 beam cannon as well. The weapons faced forward in fighter and gerwalk modes, but the cannon could aim over the head in battloid mode. The HMMP-02 missile pod was capable of carrying sixteen Boeing HMM-02 Starburst high explosive short-range missiles (SRMs).

Due to the fact that only one FAST pack is used instead of two, the Jotun Valkyrie possesses only half of the additional thrust of the Super Valkyrie. For this reason it is not capable of achieving orbital velocity under its own power. The pack also generates extra drag within an atmosphere, decreasing the maneuverability of the Valkyrie. Due to the rocket fuel carried, the pack will explode if destroyed. As such, it is designed with a blow-away capability, and will automatically be ejected if its MDC is depleted.

• Missile types: Any type of SRM may be used, typically high explosive SRMs.
• Range: Varies with missile type, typically 2 miles (3.2 km).

• Rate of fire: Volleys of 1 to 4 SRMs.
• Payload: 16 SRMs maximum.

• Primary purpose: Assault / anti-mecha.
• Range: 4000 ft (1200 m).
• Damage: 4D10 MD per dual blast.
• Rate of fire: Equal to number of attacks.
• Payload: Effectively unlimited.
