During the development of the Super Valkyrie, modules were designed that were capable of carrying three Boeing HMM-02 Starburst high explosive short-range missiles (SRMs). One module is located on each arm. The modules also provide extra protection to the arms from missile strikes. The arm modules are commonly issued to a number of different VF-1 Valkyries, typically the Super Valkyrie, Strike Valkyrie and Enhanced Valkyrie.

• Primary purpose: Assault / defense
• Missile types: Any type of SRM may be used, typically high explosive SRMs.
• Range: Varies with missile type, typically 2 miles (3.2 km).
• Damage: Varies with missile type, typically 2D4x10 M.D.
• Rate of fire: Volleys of 1 or 2 per module, up to 4 maximum.
• Payload: 3 per module, up to 6 maximum.
