Disclaimer: the usual…me nothing, Paramount everything. Though…if WE would own them, there would be a fifth season, and a sixth…a seventh…right?

Author's notes: I guess that Malcolm isn’t too happy about the thought of being the only one without any offspring. So I decided, that he might forgive Jon for his former behaviour. And I let Jon comfort him.

Grief

Malcolm sat alone in his dark quarters. He felt miserable. Everyone had managed to find someone and produce descendants.

Everyone but him.

He felt tears stream down his face, and closed his eyes. Though his rational mind told him that this was only ONE possible future, his soul was aching.

The ringing of his door-chime interrupted his dark thoughts. Briefly he considered to remain silent, but then…

“Come in.”

The door opened and Jon came in. He simply opened his arms, and Malcolm walked into his embrace.

“Don’t leave me, Malcolm.”

Malcolm shook his head and tightened his grip.

“Never!”
