We are a 5th generation family farming operation in Peaks Mill, Kentucky. Peaks Mill is a pastoral community with rich soil and excellent grazing. Several years ago we dropped tobacco as our primary cash crop, and invested in development of a lean beef program. We have been raising Belgian Blue cattle ever since. We now produce fullblood Belgian Blue breeding stock, semen & embryos, as well as crossbred stock for sale. Through our lean beef outlet, Bluegrass Meadows, we provide a lean and healthy beef product to local restaraunts, health food stores, and at Farmer's Markets. Our animals graze on native bluegrass and fescue, and in the winter on locally produced hay. All our beef is antibiotic, steroid, and hormone free. www.bluegrassmeadows.vze.com |
