WALKER, TX RANGER 1994
A good many of the Ndns who lived in the Dallas - Ft. Worth area  during the 1990's had the opportunity to work as extras on Walker episodes that were " Native American" in theme. The pictures below are from an episode entitled "Rainbow Warriors". The story has flashback scenes where we see Walker become blood brothers with an Ndn boy named Billy Grey Wolf (who came to his rescue as young Walker was about to get dusted by some Rez kids !). My not-so-little-anymore nephew, Darrell "Sonny" Blackbear Jr., acted the part of young Billy, while the adult Billy Grey Wolf was played by Augie Schellenberg ( Black Robe, Free Willy ). My brother, Chris, and myself got non-speaking parts as Ndn Police. Our Captain was Larry Sellers ( Wayne's World, Dr. Quinn ). Sonny got the real star treatment with his own dressing room in the trailer with the other co-stars. On one particularly hot day, when everyone else of cast and crew was sweating Lunch out in a small TX town's un-airconditioned gymnasium, Sonny's little trailer spot provided a cool spot for us to greeze. The PA sure looked at us strange when Sonny, his Uncle Paul Daugomah, Chris, and myself all came piling out with our empty trays! Although most of us worked as extras several more times during the show's run, this first time for me was the most fun and memorable. Sonny even got a SAG card from this,  his first ever television work,  and later attended the Dallas Arts Magnate High School.
Darrel Blackbear Jr. "Young Grey Wolf", or so it says on the star.
The kid on the left is supposed to be a young Walker TX Ranger.

This gal's name is Tahlina Prado, she played Billy's niece. Haven't seen her in any recent productions.
Which do you think Trivett shows up on first, Hollywood Squares or Pyramid ?
On this day, Trivett's office was mine...
