settling in�settling down�seeing something I recognize�getting in touch with an old friend�meeting someone new�cars with bumper stickers that I get�elections being over�(though not the outcome of said election)�when the veins in my hands and arms come out�silver thumb rings (I know, like I'm really the only one who likes those)�"orange-hairs"�telling people my dreams-the really weird ones�scar stories�making a new print of an old negative and finding something that I didn't see before�discovering new folk music�discovering that I like something I thought I didn't like�discovering myself�my discover card�my older, wiser buddy, rosalie�having a place to stay pretty much anywhere in the country�rearranging my room�putting up new pictures�taking new pictures�printing the same picture in two very different lights�doing mixed media with brian�mexican food�cooking for two�kitkat big kats�hot chocolate�finding jeans that fit just right�my "inside" shoes�the idea of teaching�being DONE with a really good workout�being done with the work day�the cool hippies at my second job�the actresses that pop up in more than one dyke movie (i.e. michelle williams, chloe whateverherlastnameis, and natasha lyonne)�and, on that note, clea duvall (hellllllllll yeah)�coming up with my own dialect-(the overuse of the phrases: "hell yeah," "that's what I'm talking about" and "right on" combined with "code" words for anything I'm too uncomfortable to actually say)�singing to myself when I'm waking around town�talking to my cats in that really annoying "baby voice" that usually makes me itch�my cats answering me�
