A glance your way...A twist of her hair...A coquettish smile... What does she REALLY mean???
She rocks in her chair, plays with her jewelry and cocks her head when you're talking. Hmmm. But catch her coupling these signs and you can be fairly confident that she probably, er, maybe, ah, almost definitely likes you.

You're having some night. You're feeling fine, you're looking good and you haven't had a single drink dumped on you head yet. Not only that, but you're actually speaking with a live woman. The problem is you can't tell if she's really interested in you, or if she thinks you remind her of her little brother.

WHEN SHE LOOKS AT YOU
Check out her pupils. Don't scare her by going nose-to-nose with her, but if you can get a good look, do it. If her pupils are dilating she is either in a dark room or is genuinely interested in you. If you're not comfortable enough to get that close, don't worry. Obviously if she is looking directly she will notice you. But if she seems to hold her looks toward you a little longer than everyone else in your group, that might signal she likes what she sees. Unless of course, she has that "I smell something funny" expression on her face.

WHEN SHE TURNS AWAY
One minute she was hanging on you every word, but now she wouldn't look at you if you balance a pint of her beer on your nose. She's not listening to your stories; she has turned her body away from you, or has ceased making eye contact. Although it is a possibility she's determined you have had breath, it is probably more likely that something else has caught her attention (e.g. a broken glass or Mel Gibson in his birthday suit).
If you cannot seem to locate what has distracted her, it's possible that you offended her or that she disagrees with something you said. You have two choices: ask her if you said something to offend her, or walk away and find someone who appreciates your wit.

WHEN SHE TURNS TOWRD YOU
You're not smelling like a rose yet, pal. You need to look at all the signs. If she's facing you, but is doing so with crossed arms and a frown, she probably isn't your ticket to paradise. But she is rubbing her legs, playing with her jewelry or hair, and smiling at you, you're probably on the right track.

WHEN SHE PLAYS WITH HER HAIR
Either her hair is in her eyes, has gum in it or she is trying to get you to notice her. This is considered a courtship cue. It is also a possible sign that she is nervous about meeting you. Body language experts have thought that this can be a signal that she likes you. Of course if she is looking across at a different guy while she's fiddling with her locks, you might want to reconsider your confidence.

WHEN SHE SMILES
Smiles are more difficult to interpret from women that they are from men because women have been socialized to smile even when they don't feel like it. If you can see her pearly whites (both rows of them) then chances are she is genuinely happy with you. If she's laughing at your jokes, that's even better. If you can only see her top row, her happy grin may be forced.

WHEN SHE MIRRORS YOU
It seems as if you are looking into a mirror, Both you are crossing your legs, both of you sipping your drinks at the same time, and when you lean forward, she leans forward. This is a sign that two people are for each other.
