| Voice Lessons have a tendency to be some of the most expensive in the performing arts. Across the country, rates go as high as $300 per hour. In Baton Rouge, the most expensive teachers charge as much as $80 per hour. Why such high rates? Singing teachers are highly educated, most have masters degrees or doctorates. Professional classical singers often work sporadically throughout the year which is simply the nature of the business. Because of the light performance schedule, most teach the rest of the year in order to continue to be an active musician. As an experienced teacher and active performer who has studied with some of the country's finest teachers and performers I feel my rates are very competitive. They are as follows: |
