| SEZ at Gwalior |
Central Govt. has formulated a scheme of Special Economic Zones (SEZ) under its EXIM policy to supplement previous attempts in building up export infrastructure. Drawing on previous experience and incorporating on-going liberalization, Govt. has decided to support state efforts in building up infrastructure with quality of international standards.
Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (Gwalior) MP Limited, having its registered office at 52 Ravinagar, Gwalior is setting up a
Special Economic Zone in Gwalior. The total area under SEZ is 1000 ha.
Gwalior is an upcoming hub of industrial activities in Madhya Pradesh. As such, State Govt. is already developing an SEZ at Gwalior.

The project report was prepared by MPCON, the largest consultancy organization in MP. MPCON was also consultant to India's first Green Field SEZ, Indore, which also happens to be first landlocked SEZ anywhere in the world!!!
