~ Entry One Continued~
I'd woken up in the hold of a slaver's ship, and that was where I'd gotten my first good look at the aliens that had taken me captive.

Humans had been chained in rows that were as long as my eye could see.  I think that it would have been safe to say that if there hadn't been hundreds of us in there, then there was at least a thousand.  Our captors guarded what looked like the only exit, and one look at them had been enough to tell me why my fellow prisoners had been so quiet.  They were each a good seven feet tall, with wet-looking green skin.  Their flat noses and facial features reminded me of lizards, but the wet, almost oily, sheen of their skin made me think amphibians.  Each was well-muscled, and they had shown those muscles off in sleeveless uniforms.

As I'd contemplated my captors, I'd noticed a hum that had gradually increased in pitch.  It'd whined up, and after I'd felt a bump,  the whine spiraled down like a car that had been revved and then suddenly pushed into idling.  As the hatches off the hold had opened to bright sunlight, I'd figured that we must have reached our destination.

We had been force-marched out of the ship into what I'd thought must be a sunny version of Hell.  Hot, harsh sunlight had refused to let my eyes see anything until I'd been pushed into a tunnel where the sunlight could not reach and seemingly blessed darkness had prevailed.  Through the tunnel, we'd been taken to a place that had reeked of terror and despair...

I hadn't known it at the time, but we had been taken to the infamous Slave Auction of Tattoine.
So, what did you think?
