Andy Marhofke 01.03.2002 C Ex, Why? A lot of people know who Joe Foss is, but what's behind the madness? I found out. Joe Peter Foss (Peter after one of the apostles) wants to, when he's of legal age, change his name to C Ex. It stands for Castrating Executioner. When C Ex was 8 years old, his friend's older brother and two of his friends cornered him, to get out of it he punched one in the balls and ran. So that's how they came up with Castrating and Executioner was just kind of added. He likes this name because as he puts it, "no one else has it, it's totally original!" Joe is a semi-popular name, Joe has at least one class with someone else named Joe in it. Joe said, " Whenever I hear someone say that name I turn around and say 'yah,' it pisses me off." Also C Ex is short simple and to the point. Family C Ex has a very normal family life believe it or not. He's a only child, he can sit and talk to his parents nicely, but also yells at them if they're being stupid. He's also home more than most kids. Growing up Joe went to a Christian school from kindergarten through eighth grade. So why is C Ex the way he is? He hasn't always been like this, when he was a kid he admits to being kind of a sissy. C Ex said, " I love having people fear me, knowing that I'm in control of them." He has a very large anger management issue, from a chemical imbalance in his brain. He also has chemical Depression, which makes him apathetic. He used to see a psychiatrist every week but now only once every two months. Always black? C Ex said he doesn't feel comfortable wearing bright colors; it's kind of a psychological thing. Hair? C Ex thinks that the long hair is cool, regardless what other people think. C Ex gets a lot of crap for being the way he is. He said, "it makes me want to keep doing more, it's because people don't understand me. And man always fears what he doesn't understand." Some of his Favorites Food: Vanilla Ice Cream Movie: Green Mile Classical composer: Franz Litz Clothes: Black jeans black t-shirt comfortable Ancient world conquer: Shaka Zulu Teacher: Wierick Author: R.L. It was started in the summer of 2000. Since Joe taught himself guitar, and his friend Matt Jones played keyboard and they had Matt's brother Abe sing. Although they only have three people in the band they have a program at there disposal that allows them to program 5or 6 instruments together. They play a lot of different stuff, Heavy Metal, Rockabilly, some Classical, and some 80's pop. Despite what a lot of people think C Ex is actually a good guy. He's a non-denominational Christian and goes to church every Sunday. He's totally straightedge. Which means he doesn't smoke, drink, do drugs, and won't have sex until he's married. C Ex also has an IQ of 132 so he's no Dummy. Richie Murry thinks, "Blah." So C Ex (Joe Foss) is not a bad guy, he may seem scary at times, but inside he's a cuddly little teddy bear.
