Life is a journey, someone said,
I agree, it has it's traffic jams,
roundabouts, junctions and airports,
long roads to success, and short cuts,
you can walk the walk or lie in bed,
stay celibate or push the prams,
be a model citizen or peruse the courts,
stay sane or go totally nuts.
Whichever turning you may take,
that which shapes who you are
is what you see, hear and learn,
so observe and note well,
never make twice the same mistake,
know history and follow it's guiding star,
and avoid purgatory and fiery hell.
