Mihi Cura Futuri
(My care is for the future)
My years may not be great,
my hair may not be long,
but I have lived a full life,
and my experience is complete,
I do not care for my past,
my care is for the future,
I do not want to leave it too late,
need time to sing my song,
find myself a good wife,
retire to a perfect seat,
with finances that will last,
keeping me safe and secure.
