The apple, sacred to Witches, is the magick
symbol of love or to improve your sexual prowess. If you cut an apple through
it's middle, the five seeds form a perfect pentacle with the red skin of the
apple forming the circle. In some places it is believed that if you peel an
apple without breaking the spiraling skin, when it drops to the floor or on
the table, it will form the initials of the person who will be your own true
love. The custom of eating an apple a day to keep the doctor away began most
likely as a love practice. An apple a day brings love to stay!
Another magickal practice used by a young girl to determine which of several
suitors loved her the most was to take an apple seed for each suitor and toss
them one at a time into a fire. The seed that popped -- or popped the loudest
-- indicated the young man whose heart was bursting with love for her. This
apple spell is simple. All it requires is an apple. After every new moon, hold
an apple in both hands, and sit or stand where it can absorb the sunlight, or
at least pick up the light of the day. Cast this spell before you take the first
bite.

How To Attract Love

INSTRUCTIONS:
Place the magenta candle on the center of the cauldron. Place the 2 pink candles

Key to the Heart

It is considered very lucky to find a key. Any sort of key is lucky,
but an antique one is especially so. As with the finding of something red, there
are words to say at the time of finding it:

Play a CD or Tape of some romantic music
that means something to you.
Make sure that the music does not include songs that you associate with another
person. It is important to keep specific people out of your mind performing
this spell. On a sheet of cardboard, light a candle of your favorite color to

Using a red magic marker or crayon, draw a heart around the red candle.
