Charm Bags and Charging

Below is a list of charm bags i have come across on the 'net. i lost track of where i got them from. if they are yours, please write and i will give full credit or remove them from the page ;o)

Charm Bag to Attract Love

What you need:
A square red piece of cloth (about 3 x 3 inches, square)
Pink yarn
1 small moonstone (as small as you can find)
1 small rose quartz (as small as you can find)
Pinch of basil
2 apple seeds
Pinch of cinnamon
1 red candle
1 pink candle

Light both candles. Lay out the red cloth so it's flat. Pass the moonstone through the heat rising from the flames and lay the stone in the middle of the cloth. Do the same with the rose quartz.

Place one apple seed above the two stones on the cloth and the other seed below. Sprinkle the stones and seeds with the basil and the cinnamon.

Pull the corners of the cloth together and tie securely with the pink yarn.

Snuff or pinch out the candle - Carry the charm with you to attract Love!

Job Charm Bag

Fill your bag with:
Bay
Lavender
High John
Plus four herbs governed by:
Mercury- job involving communications
Moon- job involving healing, women's work or health, or psychology
Jupiter- job involving leadership and responsibility, or the law
Mars- job requiring aggressive, assertive action
Sun- job outdoors or an easygoing, enjoyable job
Saturn- architecture, history, or where you will be limiting others' actions.

Add a silver coin for wealth, and pictures of any important tools you may need.
Tie with purple thread in a green cloth.

Inner Peace Charm Bag

Fill your bag with:
Bay
Dragon's Blood
Elder Flowers
High John
Rosemary
Vervain
Oak Leaf
Holly Leaf or Berries
Mistletoe
Tie with blue thread and mark with your personal symbol in a purple cloth.

Inner Power Pouch

You will need:
Purple bag or cloth
Vervain
Dragon's blood resin
Rosemary
Frankincense
Galangal or ginger root
High John oil, personal power oil or Dragon's blood oil
1 Clear quartz crystal
A personal talisman
Purple Candle

Directions:
Add ingredients or objects that have meaning to YOU. One suggestion: Try to sew on some small semi-precious stone chips or a stitched personal symbol.

Money Sachet

This sachet won't bring you money out of thin air. So if you're hoping to get your bills paid and you don't have a job…it won't work. This is to aid in money affairs, not to be the final say! Use good magickal sense with this one.

What you'll need:
A piece of cloth approximately 3" across
A piece of green yarn or string 9" long approx.
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
1 teaspoon of cedar leaves/needles
1 teaspoon of mint leaves

Charging

Charm bags and sachets should always be made within your circle. it is a lot like preforming a spell or a ritual. lay out everything your going to need for the bag so you don't have to get up and leave the circle. try burning an incense that matches your purpose. click here if you don't know which one to burn. also have a bowl (or your cauldron) of water, fire (like a candle flame), earth (soil, a rock etc.) and incense or a feather. do this so that each element is represented.

1. cast your circle
2. call the elements if that's what you do
3. assemble the bag (sew it~if it's already sewn, then skip this)
4. take each item that is going to be placed in the bag and run it through the elements. be careful with the water and fire! gently cleanse each item with the elements asking that it be blessed and cleaned
5. next we need to empower each item. simply hold it in your hand and breath (or mentally press) your energy into each item. be careful with this because if you're anything like me, i tend to use a lot of energy and run out at the end!
6. place each item in the bag. you may want to say out loud what each is for (example: rosemary for protection, or two apple seeds to bring love)
7. before closing the bag hold your hands over the bag for the last blast of energy.(*remember to channel energy focused on your goal or purpose of the bag*)

option 1:

Craft the spell in the fire
Craft it well, weave it higher
Weave it now of shinning flame
None shall come to hurt or maim
None shall pass this fiery wall,
None shall pass, no none at all!

option 2:

By all the power of three times three,
This spell bound around shall be. 
To cause no harm, nor return on me. 
As I will do, So mote it be.

Option 3:
your own saying or charging chant

	8.  close the bag, thank the elements and close your circle.  your sachet is now ready for its purpose!
