| Space Medabotter X, ranked number one in Japan, appears from above and challenges Shrimplips to a Robattle to win back Metabee's Medal. He accomplishes the task and then disappears as mysteriously as he arrived. Due to the Robattle loss to Shrimplips, Ikki falls in the Medafighter rankings to number four. Since only the top three Medafighters will represent Japan in the World Robattle Tournament, everyone starts encouraging Ikki to Robattle in order to regain his ranking. Seemingly losing his confidence, Ikki is reluctant. Rintaro takes Ikki and Metabee to the Medabot training hall to teach them new techniques in Robattle. The instructor turns out to be Shrimplips of the Rubberobo Gang in disguise. Luckily, Ikki and Metabee get another chance to Robattle with Shrimplips and his three Medabots. This time Ikki is prepared. Although seemingly listless, Ikki was actually thinking of ways to counter-attack each one of Shrimplips's Medabots. Again Metabee draws from within himself to produce a Medaforce that destroys Gokudo. Space Medabotter X shows up at the scene again to force Shrimplips to return Koji and Rintaro to their normal state and then vanishes. |
