| Metabee independently acts on his own will and frequently disobeys Ikki's commands. Henry explains that a Medabot is composed of three distinct elements: the Tin-Pet that serves as the skeletal frame, the outer parts determine the capabilities of the Medabot, and the Medal, which serves as the brain. In other words, if there is a problem with its personality, it is not because of the Tin-Pet or the outer parts, but rather, the Medal is completely responsible. Secretly believing that Metabee has a Rare Medal, Henry offers Ikki a chance to get a brand new, obedient Medabot as a trade-in for Metabee. Although Metabee is often quite a pain-in-the-neck, Ikki decides to stay with Metabee. Together they defeat the Screws Cat-Type Medabot Peppercat. Ikki orders Metabee to fire at the fountain and since water conducts electricity very well, the water makes Peppercat destroy itself!
