Stones in the River

We do not know our destination

We are on a journey

The Great Eagle has showed us the way

We know where we are going

Yet we wander

Only us, only the brothers

They ridicule us

They follow us trying to hurt us

Mother Bear will protect us

We trust in ourselves

We are the only ones we can trust

We grow weary. Days into weeks, weeks into months

Are we foolish? Is this quest worthless?

Could we be wrong? Were they right?

No. They are only stones in the river

There only to make the path harder

The river will become the ocean

We are the water in the river

We will become part of something bigger

Only our trust can get us through
