“Nice try Blast! You’re too slow!”

“Ok, ok, time’s up! Lugia wants to see us!” said Venusaur (Venus), “You know how he gets when we’re late.” she got up from the rock she was sitting on and walked towards the door. Scythor (Scy) and Blastoise (Blast) stopped their practice and followed Venus to the main hall.

The year is 7239. One thousand years ago the world started to go back, yet it went forward. This was due to the antics of a trainer named Ash Ketchum. Many consider him the greatest trainer that ever was, and the greatest curse upon the world. He found the crystal. He touched the crystal. Only Pokémon can touch the crystal. He sent the world back into the medival ages, yet there were great advances in technology. There are groups of knights. They are the Knights of the Crystal, Knights of Earth, and the feared Knights of the Fire. The Knights of the Crystal protect the Crystal and worship the god Articuno. They are the knights of good and try to keep the world in balance. The Knights of Earth can control the elements and worship the god Golem. They keep the balance in the world, not belonging to good nor darkness. The Knights of Fire worship the god Tyranitar. They are evil and try to spread their darkness throughout the land. They have no mercy and kill all who oppose them. Their goal is to obtain the crystal and use it for darkness. The Knights were each granted a spirit when they were young. A spirit of a Pokémon. They were then turned into that Pokémon for a period of time. After that period of time, which was called the judgment, the young man or woman would turn back into a human and given armor and a weapon blessed by their god. They were considered half Pokémon. So, they could touch the crystal and use it. From then on they were called by the name of the Pokémon spirit that was in them.

Lugia is the leader of they Knights of the Crystal. He is old, around 300. Although he doesn’t age. All of the Knights have a slow aging process. Lugia still looks like he is 16, the age at which you become a Knight. Celebi leads the Knights of the Earth. She is a powerful healer and is often called upon during battles. Mewtwo leads the Knights of Fire. He is a mysterious man. He is evil personified.

“You called for us?” Venus asked.

“Yes, please sit down.”

A large table appeared in the center of the main hall. In the center of it stood the crystal. Already sat at the table were Machoke, Charizard, Kadabra, Hitmonlee, Lapras, and Raichu. Scy, Blast, and Venus sat down as well. Lugia walked out of a dark corner. His whit armor had a holy glow around it. His sword making a light cling as he walked. His shield mounted on his back had the image of the crystal with an Articuno wing behind it. His cape draped over one shoulder was as blue as the sky. He stood at the head of the table and said, “I have called upon you for several reasons. The crystal is starting to dim. That means that something is coming, something more evil than we could have ever imagined. Celebi has told me that she senses an unrest in the world. Rumor is flying around that Mewtwo is missing, either dead, or called by his god. I too, have felt an odd feeling. We need to find out the cause of this and stop it. Celebi has agreed to send several of her Knights to go out and find the reason for the disturbance.” Suddenly there was a bright flash of light. Out of the light stepped three Knights, a tallk muscular man wearing black armor with a frill of fire on the back of his neck. He held a flame thrower which had the mark of the earth, a wave crashing on a mountain. After him a medium sized teenager stepped out. He too was dressed in red armor. He had a light yellow tail behind him. He held a staff. On the staff there was a flame with the earth symbol on it. Then out of the portal a beautiful woman stepped out. She wore blue armor with a white sash tying her dark hair into a ponytail. She had a blue crystal tied on a string around her neck. She had a bow and arrow with her. “I would like you to meet the three Knights that will be helping us. Typhlosion, Flareon, and Sucicune. They are Celebi‘s greatest Knights and will help us. I too have chosen three people. Scyther, Blastoise, and Venusaur.”

“WHAT! US!?” Venus yelled in amazement.

“You wish for me to change my decision?”

“Uh, no sir,” Venus said blushing at her outburst.

“Very well then, would you six please leave the main hall and into the courtyard.”

The six walked to the courtyard. Wow, Venus thought, Lugia chose us! I wonder why. She parted from the group in the courtyard towards the reflection pond. She sat at the edge and thought. We are not the strongest. Why did he choose us? Scy, Blast, and I have known each other for quite a while. She looked over at Blast, he was trying to outshoot Typhlo. His armor was a dark blue with a turtle shell on the back. On his shoulders were two water cannons. They could range in power from a drip to a tsunami. She then looked at Scy, his brown hair in spikes partially covered by a green helmet. His armor was a forest green with four wings and scythes on his arms. Blast and Scy were brothers. They looked alike. Both were roughly 5’10” and had a nice build. Scy has a scar on his eye from his judgment. He got in a fight with a wild Scyther and got a bad slash to the eye. Venus looked at herself in the reflection. She was good looking. Her long dirty blond hair went down to her middle back. Her blue armor looked like an Indian’s ceremonial outfit. She held a staff by her side which could heal and shoot sun beams. Lugia then appeared in the courtyard. He was about to say something when the sky darkened. There was a dark void in the middle of the floor. A short man in black armor with spikes on his back jumped out. He was followed by a woman with yellow armor and a cape, she had stripes like a tiger on her. Then a middle aged man with a brown and yellow armor jumped out holding two spoons. A woman in brown armor like Scy jumped out. “What the,” Lugia said.

A man dressed in an armor that looked like lava and fur came out of the pit. He wore a mask. The mask looked like a demon straight out of hell. A dark glow came around him. “I am Entei,” He said, “I have defeated Mewtwo and am the leader of these knights. We are here for the crystal.” He snapped his fingers and Flare and Suicune were trapped in a dark crystal. Lugia drew his sword, Venus jumped up with her staff ready. Gengar rolled and tackled Typh, Alakazam fired a purple beam at Venus, and the battle begun. Lugia used his sword in graceful manner. He made each slice hit. Entei drew his own black sword and attacked Lugia. Venus fired a ray of light at Alakazam, he then retaliated with a body slam then fired a beam of dark energy at Venus. Scy ran over and slashed Alakazam wounding him severely. Alakazam disappeared. Blast fired a blast of water at Raikou. Raikou rolled and clawed Blast in the face. Venus healed herself and tried to help Blast. Typh fired a wave of fire at Gengar. Gengar was burnt bad and disappeared. After a while the only two left that were battling were Lugia and Entei. They traded blows blocking with their shields. Their armor was filled with dents and scratches, it was even torn in places. Then Lugia faked an under-slash and hit Entei with an upper-slash. “OUT!” Lugia yelled mightily, “You will not enter this castle again!” Entei looked up and bowed in respect. He then left him and his minions were gone. They disappeared. There was a note where he was standing.

You actually thought I would take time to battle you pathetic worms? These are only my shadow minions. You have not seen true power yet!

Suddenly Lugia realized something. Lugia ran into the main hall. The bodies of the knights were scattered on the floor. They were barely waking up from unconsciousness. He gasped. The crystal was gone!
