| Contemplating Suicide The heart is the holder of all emotions Including depression Emotions are pumped through your system by means of blood Blood is the key to life and the key to death To lose blood is to loose feeling When all that's left is sorrow And sorrow being an emotion Unpleasant and extreamly powerful It can be drained as easily as the blood that keeps it moving So the logical way of thinking brings us here With the swift flick of a knife all sorrow is lost Yet with the loss of sorrow comes the loss of life Which leads others into what was once your realm With your releif comes the screams and sobs of those you love Their pain nearly as unbearable as yours And with the sorrow of dozens comes the sorrow of more still So what it all comes down to is simply yes or no Has love become so strong it is unrealistic and is simply dismissed To grow stale Or to grow even stronger To push you over the edge And if so With the loss of sorrow comes the loss of blood Life force And is death the correct answer to such a problem Or can't you just "Get over it..." Leave it behind you and move on Forgetting that in which you once lived for And the thing you discovered through them called love? Impossible She never understood how she could mean so much to you So she dismissed it without second thought And when you reach your weakest point Don't you wish she was here with you now? But even while your body dissolves and you reach your final destination Your love still remains in she who you left behind Now maybe she'll understand what love is It's a shame she's too late. |
