Twenty four of MECCA's male competitors, and some from beyond, will take part in the tournament to crown the first Toughman Champion. Twelve first round matchups were chosen at random, with these matches not affecting any wrestler's standing on the Contender Star. The twelve winners will go on to the quarter-finals, which will be composed of four Triangle matches. The four winners to come out victorious will do battle in a special Four Way Dance, in which only two eliminations are needed to win. The last two men remaining will go on to the MECCA Challenge on April 29 to crown the first Toughman Champion.
