David: Welcome to Go Time, fans, as we come to you from San Antonio, Texas! We have a huge tag team main event tonight, as Nykk and Ronin Fox have said that they want the toughest team available to warm up for the Briscoes at Summertime Showdown. Katie Piehl responded by booking them against the duo who will face off for the World Title at that event, Anubis and Austin Lee.
Dick: Lee and Anubis have not been getting along, but we'll see if one more go around will put them on the same page. They may not have a choice but to work together against Nykk and Fox.
David: Also, the Irish Airborne will attempt some payback on the Consulate when they battle the tandem of Yoshiaki Yago and the Necro Butcher.
Dick: Plus Sara Del Rey will be in action and much more to come.
("Pump It Up" hits and Robbie makes his way to the ring, along with Ryan, Gary, Omar, Cubby and Stephie.)
David: Robbie will start us off here on Go Time as he attempts to gain Contender Star status against one of MECCA's most beloved and honored athletes.
Dick: He's brought the cavalry, so this will be an uphill battle for Eddie right from the start.
("Noots" hits and Eddie Crowe makes his way to the ring.)
David: Eddie Crowe reigned thirteen months as World Champion, and has waited patiently for his shot at glory again. That may come in two weeks when we have a Supernova Spectacle to determine a number one contender for the winner of the title match at Summertime Showdown.
Dick: But Robbie wants to take that spot, and the way to do it is to beat Eddie right here tonight.
(FINISH: Eddie hits the running brainbuster and covers, but Omar jumps on the apron to distract the ref. Huh runs down and pulls him off just as the ref turns around to see Gary come in with a springboard spinning heel kick on Eddie. The ref calls for the bell as Huh and Omar battle up the aisle.)
Winner: Eddie Crowe
David: Robbie has been disqualified and rightfully so, as Huh just messed up EEE's attempt to get on the Contender Star!
Dick: EEE can't believe it, but this means Eddie is going to the Supernova Spectacle in two weeks.
(Backstage, Prince Nana is with the Necro Butcher and Yoshiaki Yago.)
Nana: Tonight is the night, my friends. Tonight, we put to rest this issue with those Irish Airborne and then at Summertime Showdown, in Las Vegas, we climb the ladder to success and win the TLC. And next month we become the new tag team champions. But that is only if you, Necro, can keep yourself from screwing up all over again. You are on thin ice, my friend. Last week, you were supposed to hurt Bryan Danielson. Instead, he beat you in the middle of the ring. Never again. Don't think I won't kick your ass back out on the street where I found you.
(Necro hangs his head.)
Nana: And Irish Airborne, tonight we humiliate you and on August 30 we bury you for good. Pyro Twins, you may have worked with us recently, but the Consulate is all about the gold and we are coming to take what's rightfully ours.
(Commercial Break)
(In the arena, "Alcholocaust" hits and Sara Del Rey makes her way to the ring, along with Kelly Schweickart.)
David: Here comes the challenger for the Ladies' Title at Summertime Showdown, accompanying her new associate for her match.
Dick: Sara Del Rey is Kelly's new killer, and with her in Kelly's corner at Summertime Showdown, you have to think that Naomi Leach is going to be a little more apprehensive than usual.
("Bad Reputation" hits and Nikki Chandler makes her way to the ring.)
David: Nikki Chandler is going to try her luck against this bruiser of a woman, but she has her work cut out for her.
Dick: A win here will do great things for her own title aspirations, but she needs to beware Kelly on the outside.
(FINISH: Nikki goes for the C4, but Sara elbows her way out of it. She pulls Nikki back in and floors her with a boot. She bounces off the ropes to deliver another boot, but on a third, Nikki ducks and rolls her up for two. She goes for a hurricanrana, but Sara throws her off. Chandler backflips to her feet, but gets nailed with a third boot from Del Rey. She puts Nikki in the Royal Butterfly and then takes her over with the powerslam, covering for the three count.)
Winner: Sara Del Rey
David: Sara Del Rey is just too overpowering and she walks away with the victory.
Dick: Kelly is good enough to win the title on her own, but with that intimidation factor at ringside, you have to think that she stands a very good chance at becoming a two-time champ.
(Naomi Leach runs out to the ring and goes after Kelly. Kelly hides behind Del Rey, but Naomi gets right up in Sara's face and they duke it out in the middle of the ring. Sara gets the better of her and whips her into the ropes. Naomi rolls to avoid the boot and staggers her with an enzugiri. She spears Sara to the mat and lays in with right hands. Kelly pulls Sara out of the ring, but she wants to fight and Kelly has to hold her back.)
David: Naomi just showed everyone that she's not afraid to stand up to Sara Del Rey, taking it to her right here in Austin.
Dick: Naomi has to remember her fight is with Kelly right now. She can't be concentrating too much on Death Rey.
(Backstage, Bill Bicknell is with Delirious.)
Bill: Delirious, in ten days you have one final title defense against Alan Mayse, this time a Submission Match. The thing is, Mayse has been tapping out everybody with that Anklebreaker. How do you plan to deal with that?

(In the arena, "Drugs" hits and the Necro Butcher and Yoshiaki Yago make their way to the ring, along with Prince Nana.)
David: We're set for tag team action as these two teams will be in the TLC Match at Summertime Showdown in ten days.
Dick: Both the Irish Airborne and the Consulate want those tag titles. The Surgeons have failed to get them, so now Nana is placing his hopes in Yago and Necro, though he hasn't been happy with Necro losing as of late.
("The Walking Dead" hits and the Irish Airborne make their way to the ring.)
David: It's hard to stop the Crists, as they have been on a roll this summer. A big win in TLC would do wonders for their careers as they will gain a tag title shot.
Dick: They've been going at it with the Consulate and the Pyro Twins lately, and all three factions will have a team in the TLC Match.
(FINISH: Dave hits the Suicide DDT on Necro, but Yago kicks him in the face. He ducks a clothesline from Jake and lays in kicks to the ribs and strikes to the face. He holds him for Necro, but Jake escapes and Necro boots his partner in the face. Yago staggers, and Jake sends him out of the ring with an enzugiri. Jake ducks a clothesline and springboards off the ropes into a dropkick. He lifts Necro, and Dave goes up, hitting the Irish Air Raid. Dave covers and gets the three count.)
Winners: Irish Airborne
David: Irish Airborne pick up another huge victory, and what a way to get momentum going into the TLC Match.
(At ringside, Nana berates Necro for losing the match again.)
Dick: Nana is not happy, and Necro looks like he's getting fed up with the prince from Ghana.
(As the Irish Airborne celebrate, the Pyro Twins run down to the ring and jump in. They start brawling with the Crists. After a few moments, EEE hits the ring, carrying a ladder. They throw it into Jay's face, and then Robbie and Ryan pick up Jake. They lift him into the air and drive him down with a double powerbomb as Gary slams the ladder across Dave's back. Dusty starts punching out everybody, but Cubby attacks from behind and Robbie gives him a Backpack Stunner. Ryan gets the mic.)
Ryan: Lately here in MECCA, everyone has been vying for a shot at the tag titles. And there is no one better suited for the ladder of success than Epsilon Epsilon Epsilon! So MECCA, Katie Piehl, consider this your notice. We want a spot in the TLC Match, and when we win, we're taking those belts!
("Pump It Up" hits as they lay into the Irish Airborne and the Pyro Twins with boots.)
David: EEE has made a statement out here, and they want in on the match at Summertime Showdown. Hopefully we'll get word later on this, but right now we have to go to break.
(Commercial Break)
(In the arena, "Gangsta Bitch" hits and Shadow makes her way to the ring.)
David: Well, look who's here. Shadow has spent the past few weeks goading our owner Katie Piehl into doing something she never wanted to do and that's step in the ring at Summertime Showdown.
Dick: It won't be sanctioned, and it won't even be a match. It's just going to be a fight between these two women, who have hated each other for years.
(Shadow gets a mic.)
Shadow: You all know the story by now. Ever since the very first time I won the Ladies' Championship, Katie Piehl has made it her personal vendetta to try and hold me back at every turn. Out of my three reigns, two of those times I was never even beaten for that title. And now it's come down to this... August 30, in Las Vegas, live on pay-per-view, myself and Katie Piehl will fight. Not as an owner and an employee, but as two people who despise each other. And that's the only way she'll face me, because she's even more scared of a lawsuit than she is of me. I'll prove it right now. Katie Piehl, get your ass down here and let's give these people a preview of what I'm going to do to you at Summertime Showdown!
(Shadow waits, but Katie doesn't come out.)
Shadow: What's the matter, Katie? You're real tough when nothing's on the line, when there are no consequences, but you can't come out and face me now?
David: Is it so damn hard to wait ten days, Shadow? No one wants to hear you running your mouth.
(Katie Piehl comes out onto the stage, but doesn't head for the ring and just stares Shadow down.)
Shadow: Thank you for joining us, Ms. Piehl. What are you waiting for? Get in this ring with me and throw down. Remember when Kevin Stone almost broke your neck three years ago? I have much worse planned for you.
(Katie remains stoic with her arms crossed, saying she's not going to fall into whatever trap Shadow has planned.)
Shadow: Just like I thought. You know, I've wanted to say this to you for three years. You never did a goddamn thing in this business, you wormed your way into being half an owner, and then you screwed my friend Nykk out of his ownership after only a couple of years. You're beyond trash. You're beyond being a bitch. You're nothing but a worthless, jumped up c#@*!
(Katie drops her arms and just stared open-mouthed at Shadow.)
Dick: Uh oh! That's crossing the line right there!
(Katie heads toward the ring, taking the rings off her fingers. Officials come out to talk her out of it, and she just hands her jewelry to them. As she's doing so, Lisa Letty runs out and attempts to ambush Katie. Katie meets her with a hard right, and takes it to her with two more. Lisa falls to the floor and Katie gets on top of her, but Shadow is out of the ring and attacks Katie from behind. She drags her off Lisa and throws her into the ring, where Shadow and Lisa stomp away on her. Lisa grabs a chair and scares away the officials with it and then wraps it around Katie's throat. Shadow reaches into her pocket and takes out a contract and a piece of paper.)
Shadow: Now here's what's going to happen, Ms. Piehl. You're going to sign this contract, which not only absolves Lisa and I for all responsibility of what we've just done to you, but also says that you will wrestle me next week in a one on one wrestling match. No fighting, just wrestling. I'm going to prove that I am superior to you in every way right up until I beat you within an inch of your life in Las Vegas. Now sign it, or we will finish what was started three years ago and break your neck.
(Katie spits in Shadow's face, so she lays in some kicks to Katie's midsection. Lisa yanks back on the chair, choking the life out of her and threatens to slam it into the mat. Katie screams in pain and finally says okay. She takes the pen from Shadow and signs the contract. Lisa takes the chair from around Katie's neck and Shadow takes the pen and stabs it into Katie's forehead. She goes down to the mat, and Shadow holds up the contract. )
Shadow: You've all been witnesses. Katie Piehl and I will wrestle next week, and then at Summertime Showdown, I'll already have broken your spirit. All that will be left to do is break your body!
("Gangsta Bitch" plays as Shadow gives Katie one last kick before she and Lisa leave the ring.)
David: I can't believe this. Blatant assault on our boss, Katie Piehl. Summertime Showdown wasn't enough for Shadow. She wants to humiliate her as much as possible because she knows she won't get a chance like this again.
Dick: Katie Piehl will take on Shadow next week, but what kind of chance will Katie have against a ring general like Shadow?
(As Katie is being helped to the back, "Pump It Up" hits and Omar makes his way to the ring.)
David: Now what? Our boss has just been assaulted, and now this goof from EEE is out here.
Dick: Where is the rest of his merry band? You know they have to be lurking around somewhere.
(Omar gets the mic.)
Omar: As you all saw earlier, now EEE has a chance for a shot at the tag titles and were put in the TLC Match at Summertime Showdown. Well, now it's time for Omar to step up and show what he's made of! Robbie said I can be a part of the team in Las Vegas if I can win right here tonight. So if anyone in the back wants a match, get out here right now because tonight this boy makes no concessions. There will be no mercy shown, because I'm going straight to the top, baby!
("Pajamarama" hits and Huh makes his way to the ring.)
David: Oh boy, I don't think Omar was expecting this!
Dick: Huh has been waiting to get his hands on a member of EEE one on one for weeks now. Omar may have just signed his own death warrant.
(Omar makes a run for it, but Huh catches him trying to exit through the crowd. He hammers him with rights and throws him into the ring as the bell rings.)
(FINISH: Huh hits an avalanche in the corner and goes for a bulldog, but Omar throws him off. He hits Huh with a spinning wheel kick and then hits an enzugiri. He springboards off the second rope with a cross body, but Huh catches him with a gutbuster. He gives him the Windbreaker and then spikes him with a DDT. He points to the corner and then goes up top, hitting a moonsault. He puts one hand across Omar's chest and gets the three count.)
Winner: Huh
David: Huh has just beaten Omar, and that has to be a sweet victory for Huh, who tried so hard to join EEE only to be beaten up and humiliated for his efforts.
Dick: I guess that's one down and four more to go for Huh, and I guess Omar will not be on the team at Summertime Showdown.
David: We'll be right back with our main event as Nykk and Ronin Fox take on Austin Lee and the MECCA Champion Anubis!
(Commercial Break)
(The feed cuts back to backstage, where Bryan Danielson and Jamie Chan are in the midst of a brawl. Officials are trying to keep them apart without much success as Nana bellows at the top of his lungs. Finally, Eddie Crowe, the Wild Wolf and Tristan Lee arrive and pull Danielson off while Yoshiaki Yago and the Necro Butcher hold back Chan and they whisk him down a hallway.)
(In the arena, "Third Reich from the Sun" hits and Nykk and Ronin Fox make their way to the ring.)
David: It looks like Shadow was not the only one who didn't want to wait until August 30 as Danielson and Chan were once again tearing into each other. They'll meet in a Falls Count Anywhere Match in Las Vegas, but now it's time for your main event. Nykk and Fox have an opportunity to regain the MECCA Tag Team Titles in Vegas, and this could be the momentum they need to give them that extra boost against the Briscoes.
Dick: The House of Lords has definitely seen better days, and Nykk is obsessed with keeping them relevant in the current landscape of MECCA, especially with all these other factions that have formed up.
("Kobrakai" hits and Anubis and Austin Lee make their way to the ring.)
David: The team of the World Champion Anubis and his challenge for Summertime Showdown, Austin Lee, are going to make one more go as a team right here tonight.
Dick: I don't know why Katie Piehl has been so adamant about these two teaming up. It's obvious they don't like each other, they've got a big title match coming up, and being a part of the same team is only going to confound that issue with them.
(FINISH: During the course of the match, Nykk and Fox set up a table at ringside with the intent of putting Austin through it, but they're never able to. Eventually, Anubis takes down Nykk and Fox with clotheslines and shoulder blocks. He beels Fox across the ring, and then hits Nykk with the Ankh Smash. He bounces off the ropes and Austin makes the blind tag. Anubis picks up Fox with a charging spinebuster and makes the cover, but the ref tells him he's no longer legal. Anubis moves out onto the apron in front of the table as Austin gives Nykk the Rerun Neckbreaker. Fox charges Anubis, going for a Tail End through the table, but Anubis catches him and puts him back on his feet. Austin charges, but Fox moves and Austin nails Anubis with a forearm. Anubis shoves him, and the ref tries to get between them. Nykk then hits Austin from behind with the Roaring Hammer, knocking him into the ref as Fox dropkicks Anubis. He and Nykk get on the apron and give Anubis a reverse DDT/spinebuster combo off the apron and through the table. Nykk gets back in the ring, but gets a backdrop from Austin. Fox gives him a shoulderblock from the outside, and Nykk lifts him into the air. Fox springboards in and they hit an elevated Tail End. Fox covers Austin and gets the three count.)
Winners: Nykk and Ronin Fox
David: Nykk and Fox win the main event, and that's a new one from them. If they can keep Austin down with it, they could definitely do the same to one of the Briscoes at Summertime Showdown.
Dick: So many roads leading into Las Vegas, and who will emerge with the tag belts? Who will emerge with the World Title?
(Nykk and Fox leave ringside as Anubis gets to his feet. He pounds on the mat in frustration and gets in the ring. Austin tries to explain, but Anubis wastes no time in shoving him down. Austin gets back up and piefaces Anubis. The ref tries to stop them, but Anubis tosses him aside. He and Austin yell at each other, and Tristan Lee and the Wild Wolf make their way to ringside. They try to calm down their respective partners, but suddenly Anubis shoves the Wild Wolf to the mat. He grabs the belt and leaves.)
David: I don't believe that. Anubis just put his hands on his own partner and longtime friend the Wild Wolf! Anubis has a gripe, but he has to realize that what Austin did was an accident.
Dick: He seems to feel that these misunderstandings are very convenient, and who can blame him? The champion has to watch his back at all times.
