David: Welcome home, MECCA, as we present Go Time from the Hara Arena in Dayton, Ohio! I'm David Mills, joined by Dick Broccoli, and tonight we will see a special tag team battle royale in which the winners will receive a shot at the MECCA Tag Team Champions at Summertime Showdown!
Dick: And in the main event, a huge six-man tag team match as Delirious teams with the tag champs the Briscoes, to take on Alan Mayse and the Surgeons.
David: And we'll see the new alliance of Kelly Schweickart and Sara Del Rey team for the first time as they take on Zoe Alexander and the Ladies' Champion Naomi Leach.
("I've Got the Power" hits and Katie Piehl makes her way to the ring.)
David: Well, the MECCA Executor, Katie Piehl is on her way to the ring, and we've all been wondering just what she has in store for Shadow.
Dick: Shadow, with help from Lisa Letty, attacked Katie Piehl a couple weeks ago in retaliation for costing Shadow her final Ladies' Title shot ever against Naomi Leach last month. Katie said she had an announcement in store for this week, and I guess we're going to hear it now.
Katie: Thank you all for coming out and supporting us tonight here at the Homefront, Dayton, Ohio! A lot of exciting things are happening in MECCA, including right here tonight, as we will have a tag team battle royale to crown number one contenders for the MECCA Tag Team Championship. But I'm going to make this as short as possible so we can get to the action... Shadow, you and I have been at odds for years now. And you showed me two weeks ago that you're past the point of understanding. Sending me to the hospital to get checked out for a concussion was the last straw. I swore when I got involved with MECCA that I would never do this, but even I have my limits and I've been pushed too far. At Summertime Showdown, in MECCA's Las Vegas debut, I'm challenging you. Not to a match, because I am no wrestler. And I'm not challenging you as the MECCA Executor, I'm challenging you as a person. I want you in an unsanctioned fight... no referee, no rules, just you and me having this out once and for all. Because even though I can't wrestle, I can damn sure fight, and if you have any guts at all, you'll find that out in just a few weeks.
("Gangsta Bitch" hits and Shadow makes her way to the stage with a mic, laughing.)
Shadow: Wait, wait, wait... Katie, let me get this straight: you're challenging me to a fight at Summertime Showdown? Do you even know who you're talking to? I'm a former three-time Ladies' Champion...
Katie: And you'll be staying that way for a long time thanks to me.
Shadow: Yeah, real cute. And you've just made a very important point. You've cost me the opportunity to regain the one thing in this world I treasure more than anything else, and you have some serious comeuppance on the way. So I don't care if it's in the ring, backstage, or even in the casinos. If you want a fight at Summertime Showdown, you've got one!
Katie: That's what I want to hear, and I promise you fans, and I'm sure you never want to see me in the ring, this will be the only time. I've got an issue to settle with that bitch up there, and I won't stop until I pound her into the ground.
Shadow: Just remember, Katie... if you didn't like being checked out for a concussion at the hospital, after I'm through with you on August 30, you're going to like it even less, because this time you'll be getting checked out by a coroner.
("Gangsta Bitch" plays and Shadow leaves.)
David: An unsanctioned fight taking place at Summertime Showdown, as Katie Piehl becomes a competitor on the show for one night only, taking on Shadow. We'll be right back with our opening contest.
(Commercial Break)
(In the arena, "Drugs" hits and Jamie Chan and the Necro Butcher make their way to the ring, along with Prince Nana.)
David: We're back on Go Time, and ready for tag team action as the Consulate prepares to take to the ring.
Dick: Not only will they be competing in this match, but in a little while we'll see them in the tag team battle royale as well.
("Noots" hits and Eddie Crowe and Bryan Danielson make their way to the ring.)
David: The all-star team of Danielson and Crowe will also be competing in the battle royale later, but first they'll be going against the Consulate to open up the show.
Dick: Danielson has that Falls Count Anywhere Match with Chan coming up at Summertime Showdown, and he has a chance to get his hands on him once again here tonight.
(FINISH: Eddie gives Necro a running brainbuster, but Chan comes in and kicks Eddie in the face. Danielson gives chase, and Chan leaves the ringside area with Danielson in hot pursuit. Necro goes for a chokeslam on Eddie, but he escapes and sweeps the legs. He kicks Necro in the face and gives him the Gutwrench Driver. He covers and gets the three count.)
Winners: Eddie Crowe and Bryan Danielson
David: Crowe and Danielson win this match, and we'll see all four of these participants again tonight.
Dick: Of course, if either of these teams were to win the battle royale, they would get a title shot at a later date due to Danielson and Chan already having a match signed for Summertime Showdown.
(Danielson comes back out to celebrate with Eddie as Nana berates Necro. He then grabs a mic.)
Nana: Bryan Danielson! You may be victorious tonight, but once again you did not beat my Jamie Chan. Now, at Summertime Showdown, falls will count anywhere. That means Jamie Chan is free to do anything he wants to you, and when it is all said and done, he will be victorious over you, the best in the world. And then he will lead the Consulate to all new heights, and you can go back to Washington and your clam digging, my friend!
(Nana laughs and grabs Necro by the hair, dragging him backstage.)
David: Strong words from Prince Nana, even though his charge is nowhere in sight. We'll be right back with ladies' tag action.
(Commercial Break)
(In the arena, "You Can't Do That to Me" by the Ettes hits and Kelly Schweickart and Sara Del Rey make their way to the ring.)
David: We saw this pairing come to light last week when Sara Del Rey stopped Naomi Leach from going after Kelly, only to clothesline her to the ground. Kelly says that Sara is her new associate, because she knew Naomi would try and come after her.
Dick: Who better than Death Rey to watch your back? This could spell trouble for Naomi's title reign.
("Misery Business" hits and Ashley Lane and Zoe Alexander make their way to the ring.)
David: The team of Zoe and Ashley are going to have a tough night ahead of them facing these two, especially Ashley who is relatively new and not as familiar with her opponents as Zoe is.
Dick: Zoe has challenged for the Ladies' Title in the past, so she is definitely familiar with Del Rey and Schweickart. We'll see if they can pull out the tag team victory.
(FINISH: Ashley hits Kelly with a Yakuza Kick, but she gets clotheslined by Sara. Zoe comes off the top rope with a missile dropkick to take down Del Rey, and then picks up Kelly for the Zoetrope. However, Sara boots Zoe in the chest, allowing Kelly to get a sunset flip for two. Ashley tags herself in and goes to the top rope. She tries a flying bodypress on Sara, but gets caught. Del Rey maneuvers her into the Royal Butterfly and hits the powerslam. Kelly crawls over and covers Ashley for the three count.)
Winners: Kelly Schweickart and Sara Del Rey
David: Del Rey and Schweickart come out with the victory, and Naomi is in big trouble at Summertime Showdown if Sara Del Rey shows up.
Dick: We'll hear from Naomi Leach later on, but up next will be the tag team battle royale!
(Backstage, Austin Lee and Anubis encounter each other in the hallway. They shake hands.)
Austin: How's it going, mate?
Anubis: Going good, going good.
Austin: Listen, Anubis, I just want to make something clear. We've been teamed together frequently, and we'll be against each other at Summertime Showdown and up next in the battle royale. But next week, we'll be on the same side again. The Lees and the Killer Kanines facing Epsilon Epsilon Epsilon in an eight-man tag. You know I have all the respect in the world for you, but you just remember what I'm coming for in a few weeks.
Anubis: Don't worry, Austin, I definitely haven't forgotten. And there's no reason we can't continue to have that respect up until the moment the bell rings. Good luck out there.
(They shake hands again.)
Austin: Thanks.
(Commercial Break)
(In the arena, Ryan and Gary, Cubby and Robbie, Bloodlust, Chan and Necro, the Lee Brothers, the Pyro Twins and the Irish Airborne are already in the ring. "Kobrakai" hits and the Killer Kanines make their way to the ring.)
David: Here comes the World Champion and his partner and friend, the Wild Wolf. These two are two-time former tag champs and would love another run with the belts.
Dick: We have most of our teams out here already, and here's how the battle royale will work. When it's down to the last two men in the ring, their partners will come back out and we'll have a regular tag match to determine who gets the tag title shot. If the last two men are from the same team, they will automatically win.
("Third Reich from the Sun" hits and Nykk and Ronin Fox make their way to the ring.)
David: Nykk and Fox have been campaigning for a tag title shot, citing that they never got a rematch when they lost the belts, but they'll have to go through the rest of MECCA's teams to get that shot.
Dick: Katie Piehl won't hand out any freebies to the House of Lords, not after last year.
("Noots" hits and Eddie Crowe and Bryan Danielson make their way to the ring.)
David: Danielson and Eddie have already competed once tonight, but they're ready to go again, especially when there's a title shot to be had.
Dick: Hopefully, Danielson isn't distracted too much by the presence of Chan in there.
(FINISH: Cubby gets thrown out first, followed by Torea, Tristan, Necro, Kavian, Ryan, Gary, Danielson, Dusty, Jake, Chan, Dave and Robbie. The remaining competitors gang up on Anubis and manage to dump him over the top rope as Austin adds his assistance at the last moment. Anubis is angry, and gets back up on the apron using the top rope, coincidentally as Austin hits the ropes. Austin loses his balance and tumbles to the floor. Anubis just gets down and leaves. A few moments later, Jay is thrown out by Eddie, leaving him, Wolf, Nykk and Fox. Nykk and Fox end up throwing Wolf out, and then gang up on Eddie. Finally, Fox holds him while Nykk sets up for a leg lariat. However, Eddie escapes and Nykk hits Fox, sending him over the top and to the floor. Danielson comes back out, and the match is restarted as a tag match. Finally, Fox and Eddie are duking it out while Nykk crotches Danielson on the top rope. He goes up for a backdrop superplex, but spins Danielson over into a sitout slam on the way down. Eddie gives Fox an enzugiri and then goes for the running brainbuster. Nykk clips the knee and Fox drops into a reverse facelock position. He and Nykk hit a spinebuster/reverse DDT combo, and then Fox locks in the Carrion Stretch. Nykk keeps Danielson from making the save, and Eddie tries to reach the ropes. However, he's too far away and is forced to tap out.)
Winners: Nykk and Ronin Fox
David: Nykk and Fox will be going to Summertime Showdown, and love them or hate them, you have to give them credit for earning this title shot.
Dick: A definite hard fought victory for the House of Lords, and will the men to dethrone the Briscoes be the very men they won the titles from in the first place?
David: We'll be right back after we hear from the Ladies' Champion.
(Backstage, Bill Bicknell is with Naomi Leach.)
David: Naomi, last week you were attacked out of nowhere by Sara Del Rey, who has aligned herself with Kelly Schweickart. How do you plan to overcome this obstacle and retain your title in Vegas?
Naomi: Kelly has already proven what a dishonorable bitch she really is. I don't know what she offered Sara, but Sara has always seemed an upstanding competitor to me, and to sink to this low is unbecoming of any woman who wants to hold this title. I would rather have my career ended than lose this belt to someone like Kelly. So at Summertime Showdown, you go ahead and bring Death Rey if you want. I'll overcome the odds just like I always do, and I assure you fans, I'll still remain Ladies' Champion even if I'm forced to fight fire with fire.
(Commercial Break)
(In the arena, "Pajamarama" hits and Huh makes his way to the ring.)
David: We're back on Go Time, and Huh is still on his quest for revenge against EEE.
Dick: He's set to face Omar in a one on one contest in just a few moments, but will he have to contend with the rest of EEE as well?
("Pump It Up" hits and Omar makes his way to the ring, along with Robbie, Ryan, Gary, Cubby and Stephie.)
David: There's your answer, and of course Omar couldn't come alone. He had to bring his polo shirt-wearing gang members with him.
(Robbie gets a mic as they stand on the stage.)
Robbie: Huh, you really are a simpleton. Yeah, you signed on to face one of us tonight, and with four of us in the battle royale, you assumed that would be Omar. But there's one other that you didn't think of. Beer!
Ryan: Girls!
Omar: Music!
Cubby: Food!
Gary: Condoms!
All: Go Epsilon!
Epsilon: By your powers combined, I am Captain Epsilon!
(The Captain Epsilon theme hits and Captain Epsilon makes his way to the ring.)
David: Oh, please! You mean to tell me instead of facing Huh himself, Omar is going to send this thug in tights to do his dirty work?
Dick: A cheap trick by Epsilon Epsilon Epsilon and Huh may be in trouble here.
(FINISH: Huh hits Epsilon with right hands and whips him into the ropes. He hits an avalanche and goes for a bulldog, but Epsilon throws him off into the ropes and hits a big lariat. He gives Huh a wrist clutch exploder and then covers for the three count.)
Winner: Captain Epsilon
David: The big man was just too overwhelming for Huh to handle, and now EEE can score one for them in this feud.
Dick: What a bad break for Huh. He should know better when signing to face an EEE member.
David: We'll be right back with our main event. Delirious and the Briscoes take on Alan Mayse and the Surgeons in six-man tag action when we return!
(Commercial Break)
(Backstage, Bill Bicknell is with Nykk and Ronin Fox.)
Bill: Nykk, Fox, tonight you defied the odds and came out the winners in the tag team battle royale. That means you will get a shot at the tag titles when MECCA debuts in Las Vegas for Summertime Showdown.
Fox: This is vindication, Bill. After months of being held down by Katie Piehl, finally the cream has risen to the top like we always do. Back in February, a severe injustice occurred when the Briscoes stole the tag team belts from us, and you two hicks better be watching your back, because Nykk and I are bringing those belts back to the House of Lords.
Nykk: The bottom line is, Briscoes, you can man up all you want. It won't help you when the best tag team in the world today hits Sin City and we will roll the dice. Only problem is, these dice are loaded and there's no way you can possibly beat us. We will avenge our title loss and then the House of Lords will reign supreme over MECCA once again, whether Katie Piehl likes it or not.
(In the arena, "Drugs" hits and Alan Mayse and the Surgeons make their way to the ring, along with Prince Nana.)
David: We're back and it's time for our six-man main event, and the Consulate has once again enlisted the help of Alan Mayse tonight.
Dick: They definitely have a very healthy working relationship, and Alan may need all the help he can get, since he has his last shot at Delirious's Toughman Title coming up at Summertime Showdown.
("Hybrid Stigmata" hits and Delirious and the Briscoes make their way to the ring.)
David: Delirious has enlisted the help of the MECCA Tag Team Champions, and we have a golden team main eventing Go Time this week.
Dick: The Briscoes are now faced with a new challenge, as Nykk and Fox have won the title shot for Summertime Showdown, and if it's anything like their other encounters, the fans of Las Vegas are in for one hell of a match.
(FINISH: Delirious actually manages to chokeslam Stryker, but Mark Briscoe makes the blind tag and hits a springboard kick on Walters. Delirious goes for BAM! on Mayse, but he counters into a Fujiwara armbar and then floats over into the Anklebreaker. Delirious taps out, but the ref tells Alan he's not legal. He's then hit with a shooting star press from Mark to break it up. Stryker tags himself in, and clotheslines Mark. Jay comes in with a big boot, but Walters then gives him a lungblower. Mark charges Stryker but gets launched right into Bad Medicine. Alan baseball slides into Delirious and pulls down the top rope to dump Jay to the outside as the Surgeons give Mark the Human Error. Stryker covers for the three count.)
Winners: Alan Mayse and the Surgeons
David: Alan Mayse and the Surgeons pull out the victory, and what a break for John Walters and Matt Stryker. They've just pinned one half of the tag team champions.
Dick: Nykk and Fox get the shot at Summertime Showdown, but who knows, maybe it's the Surgeons they will be facing by then.
David: Fans, please join us next week when we come to you from Cleveland, but for now, we're out. Good night!
