("Planet Hell" opening.)
David: Go Time is back in New York City, and get ready for some MECCA action, fans! David Mills and Dick Broccoli at ringside, and we have a huge main event. Tonight, the feud will end between Eddie Crowe and Alan Mayse as they settle it once and for all in the ring.
Dick: We'll also have a huge tag team match. After the events of last week and at Liberty or Death, Austin Lee wants his hands on Epsilon Epsilon Epsilon, but they didn't want to face him and his brother. So instead, Austin has chosen a different partner, the man he will face for the World Title at Summertime Showdown, Anubis! They will face Ryan and Robbie. We'll also hear from Nykk and Ronin Fox, plus much more tonight in the Big Apple.
("Pajamarama" hits and Huh makes his way to the ring.)
David: Huh is coming off a disappointing week, as last week his goal of becoming part of EEE ended when he was violently kicked to the curb by those jerks in polo shirts. And at Liberty or Death, he fell to them in that six-man tag when he was pinned by Cubby.
Dick: Huh has demanded a member of EEE here tonight, any member, and it looks like he got his wish.
("Pump It Up" hits and Gary makes his way to the ring, along with Cubby, Omar and Stephie.)
David: Ryan and Robbie are of course preparing for their match later, but that didn't stop the rest of EEE from coming out when they're not needed.
Dick: Interesting that Cubby didn't want to step in there with Huh, since he got the win over him on Saturday.
(FINISH: Huh puts down Gary with a bulldog, but Omar gets on the apron. Huh punches him in the face to send him down, and then goes up for a moonsault as Stephie gets on the apron to distract the ref. That allows Cubby to shove Huh off the top rope and he crashes to the mat. Gary scales the turnbuckles and hits a twisting 450, covering for the three count.)
Winner: Gary
David: Gary picks up the victory after the assist from his frat brothers, and Huh just cannot hope to fight this battle by himself.
Dick: He's a stubborn guy, though, so I don't think this will be the last of him trying.
David: More action to come, and up next we'll see the ladies of MECCA take to the ring.
(Backstage, Nykk is getting some Snapple from the catering table when Prince Nana approaches him.)
Nana: Nykk, my friend, how are you doing this evening?
(They shake hands.)
Nykk: What's up, Nana?
Nana: Listen, I know you have problems of your own, but lately your friends the Pyro Twins seem to be having a bit of a problem with those new guys, those Irish Airborne punks.
Nykk: Yeah, what about it?
Nana: My Surgeons have been having their issues with them as well, and on Saturday you saw how those Crists cheated to pull out the victory in that three-way match. Tonight, my Consulate has an open contract to face the Irish Airborne right here in New York City. But since we are not having much luck against them, what I propose is that you provide one member of the Pyro Twins, and I'll provide one member of the Surgeons, and maybe together we can stop these peons in their tracks.
Nykk: You know, that's really Jay and Dusty's battle, but I can see what you're thinking. And if their momentum is allowed to continue, the Crists could end up a threat. And I can't have that, especially with the announcement I plan to make tonight. So if you think this is going to work, you have yourself a deal.
(They shake hands again.)
Nana: Excellent, excellent.
Nykk: I leave this in your hands, prince. Don't screw this up.
(Nykk exits.)
(Commercial Break)
(In the arena, "Pretend We're Dead" hits and Kelly Schweickart makes her way to the ring.)
David: We're back, and take a look at the number one contender for the Ladies' Title as of Saturday, Kelly Schweickart.
Dick: Kelly has what she wants, and that's a shot at Naomi Leach. However, she has also drawn the champ's ire, and we'll see how well she handles that. I didn't even know Kelly knew how to be mean until this past month.
("Alcoholocaust" hits and Sara Del Rey makes her way to the ring.)
David: Sara Del Rey has come close on several occasions to the Ladies' Title, and was dominant in that Four Corners match at Liberty or Death. Unfortunately, due to Kelly pulling down the top rope, she took a hard spill to the outside and was out for the rest of the match.
Dick: She wants to show that she deserves a shot at the belt by beating the number one contender, which will put her in prime position if Kelly does win the title.
(FINISH: Del Rey goes for the Royal Butterfly, but Kelly counters into an inside cradle for two. She kicks Sara and goes for a hardway suplex, but Del Rey doesn't budge. She knocks Kelly backwards with a butt bump, and then tries a big boot, but Kelly brushes it aside and rolls her up, bridging back for the three count.)
Winner: Kelly Schweickart
David: Kelly with the win out of nowhere, as she caught Sara off guard!
Dick: That has to be disappointing for the American Angel, but Kelly showed that attitude or not, she definitely deserves a shot at the Ladies' Title.
(As Kelly celebrates, Naomi Leach runs out from the back. Kelly falls backward and begs off as she enters the ring. Naomi lunges for her, but Sara intercepts her and holds her back. As Naomi argues with Sara, Kelly sneaks out of the ring and up the aisle.)
David: Sara is telling Naomi it isn't worth it, that this is what Kelly wants, to throw her off her game.
Dick: Naomi would be wise to listen, as that is exactly what Kelly has been doing since she turned on Naomi at Punked Out.
David: Up next will be our big tag match, as Austin Lee teams with Anubis to take on Robbie and Ryan. But first, Bill Bicknell is standing by with a word from Epsilon Epsilon Epsilon.
(Backstage, Bill Bicknell is with EEE.)
Bill: Robbie, Ryan, tonight you guys have a big chance to rebound after losing the tag title match at Liberty or Death, but you have a tough night ahead of you, as your opponents are the World Champion Anubis and the number one contender Austin Lee.
Ryan: Do we look like we're worried, Bill? Epsilon Epsilon Epsilon is here for the beer, fun and women, but one other thing we're after is gold. Now we didn't get the job done against the Briscoes on Saturday, but it doesn't matter because sooner or later two of us will hold those tag team belts.
Robbie: And as you've seen already tonight, we're branching out a bit, as Gary got a big singles victory against that reject Huh. Huh, if you keep coming after us, we'll drive you out of MECCA once and for all, because unlike you, we have plenty of friends. And my friends will destroy you, because you could never be a part of a cool group like this. And in a few minutes, we'll be in the ring with the World Champion. Anubis, I would forget about Austin Lee, and Lee, forget about Anubis, because I predict that after tonight, one of us will be getting a title shot and he won't even make it to Summertime Showdown as champion. Whether it's me as World Champion, Ryan and Gary as tag champs, any of us as the Toughman champ, or Stephie winning the Ladies' Title, that bling is coming to us.
(Commercial Break)
(In the arena, "Pump It Up" hits and Robbie and Ryan make their way to the ring, along with Omar, Cubby, Gary and Stephie.)
David: EEE is in the house, and though Ryan and Robbie didn't win the tag titles in Boston, they have a big chance to redeem themselves tonight.
Dick: We already saw one EEE victory tonight when Gary got the pin on Huh, thanks to interference. It looks like they're hoping that lightning will strike twice.
("Kobrakai" hits and Anubis and Austin Lee make their way to the ring.)
David: Austin and Anubis will be facing each other in the main event at Summertime Showdown, as long as Anubis is still champion. A win tonight could certainly propel Ryan or Robbie to a title shot soon.
Dick: We'll see just how well they get along with that big match on the horizon, and EEE thought they were putting one over on Austin not giving him this match unless he didn't choose his brother as his partner, but it looks like it backfired.
(FINISH: Anubis plants Ryan with a backdrop driver and then gives Robbie a lariat. He goes to the apron as Omar gets up on the other side of the ring to distract the ref. Anubis tries a springboard clothesline, but Gary pulls him to the floor and he strikes his head on the apron. Austin sends Ryan down with a flying kick and then tries the Rerun Neckbreaker on Robbie. Robbie pushes him right into a headbutt from Cubby that goes low, and Robbie and Ryan hit their spinebuster/springboard blockbuster combo. Robbie covers and gets the three count.)
Winners: Robbie and Ryan
David: I don't believe it. EEE just stole this one thanks to their numbers game!
(Anubis gets in the ring and tackles Robbie, but the rest of EEE attack and take it to him and Austin. Gary hits Anubis with his twisting 450, and Cubby gives Austin Go 2 College. However, Tristan Lee and the Wild Wolf run out and get in the ring, taking it to EEE. Tristan clotheslines Cubby over the top rope as Wolf gives Omar the Twig Snap. Robbie and Gary escape, as Lee and Wolf check on their partners.)
Dick: Anubis and Austin's respective partners are out for the save, and it's a good thing, because EEE wasn't about to let up.
David: Nonetheless, Epsilon Epsilon Epsilon with a huge tag team victory, and we'll be right back with the House of Lords.
(Commercial Break)
(In the arena, "Third Reich from the Sun" hits and Nykk, Ronin Fox, Lisa Letty and Shadow make their way to the ring.)
David: We're back, and the House of Lords are here in NYC. Of course, Fox is coming off a loss in an attempt to take the World Title at Liberty or Death, and he doesn't look happy about that.
Dick: They requested this time, so obviously they have something up their sleeves.
(Fox gets a mic.)
Fox: Yeah, I know, I know. "You-tapped-out, you-tapped-out." What I want to know is how blind are our officials? Somehow the turnbuckle pad mysteriously vanished, and that ring was a danger to myself and my opponent. That match should have been thrown out and we should have been booked to face each other on another day!
Nykk: But be that as it may, Katie Piehl is adamant about neither of us getting another title shot anytime soon. But the House of Lords is not kept down that easily. A few months ago, Fox and I lost our tag titles to those stinking rednecks, the Briscoes. And due to the unfairness of Katie Piehl, we never got our rematch. However, if you recall, last week I made Jay Briscoe tap out right in the middle of this ring.
David: If by 'tap out' you mean having Fox knock him unconscious with a chair and having the ref call the match.
Nykk: And since we can't have the World Title, Fox and I are going after what's rightfully ours, and that's the MECCA Tag Team Championship. So Briscoes, get out here right now and give us our rematch!
("Gimme Back My Bullets" hits and the Briscoes make their way to the ring.)
David: We do not have a tag title match scheduled tonight, but the Briscoes aren't going to sit back there while Nykk and Fox claim to be the real champs.
(Jay gets a mic.)
Jay: Nykk, Fox, you boys want to face us again? It took us months to get a fair shot at you two, and look what happened when we did. New tag team champs! But the Briscoes are always ready for a fight, so whenever you want it, you got a shot. Man up and bring it to the ring, and we'll embarrass you all over again!
(Nykk shoves Jay, and Mark gets in Fox's face. Before the teams can come to blows, "I've Got the Power" hits and Katie Piehl makes her way onto the stage.)
Katie: Hold on one second, all of you. Nykk, Fox, you may come out here knowing that you can call out the Briscoes and they'll accept your challenge, because unlike you they are worthy champions. But I was serious when I said I would keep the House of Lords from getting any titles if I could possibly help it. So you're not getting what you want that easily! In two weeks, when Go Time returns to Dayton, Ohio, there is going to be a tag team battle royale. The winners of that match will go on to face the Briscoes for the titles at Summertime Showdown on August 30. Until then, you had better cool your jets before I start handing out suspensions.
(Nykk and Fox beg off, and exit the ring. The Briscoes watch them, wary, but then do the same. Shadow picks up the mic.)
Shadow: Hold on, we're not done. Katie, get your ass down here right now!
(Katie makes her way to the ring.)
Shadow: Last week, I had my shot, my last shot, at the Ladies' Title and what happened? You screwed me out of it, and now I can never challenge for the Ladies' Title again! Ever since I started here in MECCA, I have been held back by you time and time again, and if you don't rescind that stipulation, I won't be responsible for my actions.
Katie: Shadow, when you attacked me two weeks ago, you pushed me too far. No one puts their hands on me, especially the House of Lords after you ran roughshod over this promotion last year. I've always had the best interests of MECCA in mind, and MECCA is at it's best without the House of Lords, and I know I will see the day when your group is gone forever. I don't like to get involved in what goes on in the ring, but if you push me too far, expect some retaliation.
Shadow: How about if I push you again?
(Shadow shoves Katie down on her butt. Katie slams down the mic and gets up to get in Shadow's face, but Lisa Letty attacks her from behind. Katie goes down and she and Shadow start stomping. Lisa picks Katie up and holds her, allowing Shadow to hit her with the Interceptor. Katie slumps to the mat as security comes down to separate them.)
David: Lisa Letty and Shadow have just blatantly attacked the Executor of MECCA Katie Piehl!
Dick: You can't blame Shadow for being upset, but she's putting her job in jeopardy now!
David: Fans, we have to gain some semblance of control out here. We'll be right back!
(Commercial Break)
(In the arena, "Drugs" hits and Matt Stryker and Jay Crowe make their way to the ring, along with Prince Nana.)
David: We're back with tag team action, as the Consulate and the House of Lords have decided to join forces to try and stop the Irish Airborne, since the Crists triumphed over both the Surgeons and the Pyro Twins in a triangle tag at Liberty or Death.
Dick: Neither group liked it when the Irish Airborne stuck their noses in their business, and they're determined to win this war.
("The Walking Dead" hits and the Irish Airborne make their way to the ring.)
David: Jake and Dave Crist have been on a roll since debuting in MECCA, and you have to think with big wins like they got last Saturday that a tag title shot would be on the horizon for them already.
Dick: I don't know how long they can keep this up though, with two of the most powerful groups in MECCA after them.
(FINISH: Jay dumps Dave to the outside, and then Jake tries a hurricanrana. Jay throws him off, and Jake backflips to his feet, standing right in front of Stryker. He rolls out of the way, and Jay accidentally gives Stryker an STO. An enzugiri from Jake sends Jay to the outside, and the Irish Airborne give Stryker the Irish Air Raid, with Jake covering for the three count.)
Winners: Irish Airborne
David: The mix-and-match plan didn't work for the team of Matt Stryker and Jay Crowe, as they were just soundly defeated by the Crists.
Dick: I don't know who can stop these guys. The Irish Airborne is definitely rising to prominence in the tag team division.
(Nana calls to the back, and Yoshiaki Yago heads to the ring. Jake sees him coming, but gets taken down with strikes to the midsection, followed by kicks to the knee and chest. Dave blocks a few strikes but goes down to a roundhouse kick. Jay then gives Jake the Overhaul as Stryker gives Dave the Stryker Driver, leaving them laying.)
David: They may have won, but Nana got the last laugh tonight, using his muscle Yoshiaki Yago to take down the Crists.
Dick: That doesn't change the fact that the Irish Airborne are your winners, at both the House of Lords and the Consulates' expense.
(Backstage, Bryan Danielson is watching with disgust on a monitor.)
Danielson: That's typical of the Consulate right there, and Nana, your day is coming soon. Katie Piehl, I know your jaw is being checked out at the hospital right now, but I know you'll see this. I want one more match with Jamie Chan, to prove to him and to Nana, that I am the best in the world. I know you've been angry with us for brawling in the stands and all over the building, but it we can't be contained, then why contain it? Give us that freedom to settle this, and give it to us at Summertime Showdown. I want Chan in a Falls Count Anywhere Match, Katie. Please, make this happen so I can end it once and for all.
(Commercial Break)
(Backstage, Bill Bicknell is with Alan Mayse.)
Bill: Alan, in just a few moments your feud with Eddie Crowe comes to an end, as you step into the ring with him one last time right here in New York City. Are you ready to go after your rough Last Man Standing Match against Delirious at Liberty or Death?
Alan: A loss to Delirious won't keep me down, Bill, and won't keep me from proving that I'm the guy that has Eddie's number. It took someone over a year to beat him for the World Title, and I beat him for the Toughman Title on only my second try. Rest assured, Delirious, this isn't over between us because you may have won on Saturday, but it was a technicality. I was not down for a ten count; my feet were stuck in the ropes. I'll deal with you real soon, but tonight, Eddie Crowe is going on a downward spiral, and I move on to even greater heights. And it all starts tonight in the Big Apple.
(In the arena, "Noots" hits and Eddie Crowe makes his way to the ring.)
David: It's time for our main event, and the feud that goes back two years will end tonight. It was at the MECCA Challenge II that Eddie Crowe and Alan Mayse both won their respective titles. They had a competitive rivalry for a while, but when Eddie won the Toughman Title back in February, Alan was incensed.
Dick: He looks at that title as his belt, the one that he made relevant here in MECCA. He managed to win it from Eddie, only to have his rival cost him the title to Delirious in his first defense, and Alan hasn't been able to get the belt back since.
("This is Not My Life" hits and Alan Mayse makes his way to the ring.)
David: One weapon Alan has now that he didn't have back then is that Anklebreaker, a hold so devastating that it has made many men instantly tap out.
Dick: He used the lack of rules in specialty matches to his advantage back in their Ladder Match, rendering Eddie unable to stand and climb the ladder. He planned on doing the same in the Last Man Standing Match, but Delirious managed to pull out the victory yet again.
(FINISH: Alan goes for the Anklebreaker, but Eddie rolls him up with an inside cradle for two. Eddie rolls to his feet and kicks Alan hard in the face. He goes for the running brainbuster, but Alan escapes and counters into the Tiger Bomb. He gets a very close two count, as Eddie kicks out. He goes for the Anklebreaker again, but Eddie dives into the ropes. Alan pulls him off and goes for the Tiger Bomb again. Eddie counters with a backdrop, but Alan lands on his feet and bounces off the ropes, only to be met with a dropkick. Eddie sends him down with a blue thunder bomb and then hits the Eddie Dive. Alan barely manages to kick out at two. Eddie signals for the Crowe's Nest, but Alan counters into an exploder. He yanks Eddie up by the hair, but Eddie kicks at the leg and then blocks a clothesline, hitting the Backslide Bomb. He goes up and tries a 450 senton, but Alan moves out of the way and then immediately covers for a close two count. Frustrated, Alan gets on the top rope and drags Eddie up for a Super Tiger Bomb. Eddie fights his way out and headbutts Mayse, who retaliates with a hard forearm. Eddie falls to the mat but rolls to his feet. He charges the corner and leaps to the top rope, hooking Alan and taking him down with a super brainbuster. He covers and gets the three count.)
Winner: Eddie Crowe
David: These guys literally pulled out all the stops tonight, but in the end Eddie Crowe will get his hand raised in victory!
Dick: What a win for the former triple crown winner, and time will tell what's next for these two gentlemen.
David: Thank you for joining us tonight on Go Time. Be sure to join us again as we make our way to Buffalo!
