Go Time: 6/25/08

Chicago, IL

Rundown Results:
Dark Match - Irish Airborne b. Omar/Cubby
Dark Match - Del Rey/Star b. Coquette/Magenta
Nykk b. Kavian
Allison Danger b. Nikki Chandler
Austin Lee b. Necro Butcher, Ronin Fox, Wild Wolf

("Planet Hell" opening.)

David: We are coming to you from Chicago, Illinois, and MECCA welcomes you to Go Time! I'm David Mills, here with Dick Broccoli, and with Punked Out three days away, we have a great tag team main event for you tonight. Four men involved in Eight-Man Throwdown will go at it as Jamie Chan teams with Alan Mayse against Austin Lee and the American Dragon Bryan Danielson!

Dick: We'll also see two men involved in the main event at Punked Out meet in singles action as the Wild Wolf takes on Ronin Fox. Plus Kelly Schweickart returns to action and much more!

("Pump It Up" hits and Gary makes his way to the ring.)

David: We're starting things off with the Toughman Title on the line, and three days before Alan Mayse gets his rematch against Delirious, Gary from EEE is going to try his luck at taking the title.

Dick: The Toughman Title can be challenged for by anyone, no matter what their win/loss record or place on the card. Normally Gary would have the rest of EEE here with him, but we understand they're in the back, getting ready to "initiate" Huh.

("Hybrid Stigmata" hits and Delirious makes his way to the ring.)

David: Delirious won the Toughman Title a few weeks ago from Alan Mayse, due to an assist from Eddie Crowe. He wants to prove in this upcoming match with Alan that he did not win on a fluke and is capable of being a viable champion. But that could come to an end if Gary wins it here tonight.

Dick: Regardless, Alan and Delirious will clash this Saturday, and Alan would just have to wait until the next opportunity he gets at the title.

(FINISH: Delirious goes for Shadows Over Hell, but Gary sidesteps him and brings him down onto his knee. He whips Delirious into the corner and charges, but Delirious moves and Gary hits his head on the top turnbuckle. Delirious lifts him into a fireman's carry and slams him to the mat. He backs up and hits a running kick to the face of Gary, knocking him out. The ref calls for the bell.)

Winner: Delirious

David: Delirious retains by knockout, and he punted Gary so hard he was probably having flashbacks to polo practice.

Dick: Delirious successfully retains the title, and will go on to defend against Alan in three days. That will certainly test if Delirious is really championship material or not.

(Backstage, Robbie, Ryan, Cubby, Omar, Stephie and Huh are in the locker room.)

Robbie: Okay, week one of Hell Month has officially begun for you, Huh. To be a member of our fraternity you have to have a certain character, a certain willingness to do whatever we say, when we say it. So for this week... as you can see, this locker room is filthy. You're going to clean it.

Huh: That's it?

Ryan: With your toothbrush.

Huh: But that will take forever!

Stephie: Yeah... that's kind of the point of this.

Huh: Aw.

Robbie: So I would get cracking.

Huh: Uh... I don't have a toothbrush. It's back at the hotel.

Omar: You moron! How are you supposed to be a brother if you can't even come prepared?

Robbie: Go find one. I don't want to see your face again unless you have a toothbrush in hand. This locker room better be spic and span by the end of the night.

(Huh runs off, and EEE starts laughing.)

Cubby: What an idiot. Like he's going to even last a month of this.

Ryan: What do you say we make it more interesting? Give him something additional to clean up.

(EEE huddles.)

Robbie: That's disgusting. I love it. Stephie, make sure no one comes in here.

(Stephie moves to the door to be lookout as EEE unzip their pants and start peeing in the corner of the locker room.)

(Commercial Break)

(In the arena, "Dead is the New Alive" hits and Bloodlust make their way to the ring, along with Medea Knight.)

David: We're back, and I can't believe what EEE was doing. It's bad enough they're taking advantage of Huh like this, but to urinate in the locker room and force him to clean it up?

Dick: Huh seriously wants to be a part of another group after all his old affiliations have left him behind, so he seems willing to put up with the abuse.

("Burning Times" hits and the Pyro Twins make their way to the ring.)

David: The Pyro Twins have not been in a good mood lately after blowing their last chance at regaining the tag titles at New Dawn.

Dick: That makes them very dangerous, as they have always been close to the title picture in the tag team division. But due to their failures against the Briscoes, it may be a few months before they're even considered for a title shot again.

(FINISH: Kavian hits a German suplex on Jay, and Torea then picks him up wheelbarrow style and plants him to the mat. He covers, but Dusty breaks it up. Kavian hits Dusty with forearms, but he knees him in the midsection and throws him through the ropes. Torea tries a hurricanrana on Dusty, but he throws him off. Torea backflips to his feet, but gets instantly hit with Final Darkness. Jay covers and gets the three count.)

Winners: The Pyro Twins

David: Jay and Dusty pick up the victory, and they definitely want to build up some wins and get that confidence back.

(Kavian comes in to check on his partner, and the Pyro Twins start stomping on him. They bring him to his feet and give him Final Darkness as well. Jay boots Torea in the head to knock him back down, but the Irish Airborne run down to the ring and duke it out with the Pyro Twins. Jake hits the Double Shot on Jay, and Dave sends Dusty down with a leg lariat. The Pyro Twins roll out of the ring, and Jay gets a mic.)

Dick: The Crists have come out to save Bloodlust, and of course we know the Irish Airborne have this great sense of justice. They couldn't let the Pyro Twins act like bullies without some kind of receipt.

Jay: Are you freaking kidding me? You two have been here for a cup of coffee, and you're going to come down here and get in our business? Irish Airborne, you just signed your death warrants.

Dusty: There's an open spot on the card for Punked Out. Why don't you meet us in St. Louis, and we'll welcome you to MECCA the Pyro Twin way?

(Irish Airborne tell them to bring it on, and Dusty throws down the mic. He and Jay exit the arena.)

David: I guess we're going to have Irish Airborne taking on the Pyro Twins at Punked Out, and what a test that will be for Jake and Dave Crist. We'll be right back with Ronin Fox taking on the Wild Wolf!

(Commercial Break)

(In the arena, "Did My Time" hits and Ronin Fox makes his way to the ring, along with Nykk.)

David: Fox and Nykk have a big tag team match coming up in three days against the Killer Kanines at Punked Out, but this match is a result of two weeks ago, when the Wild Wolf countered the interference of Ronin Fox before the match even started between Nykk and Anubis.

Dick: Fox has been making a lot of noise about coming after the World Title now that Nykk has failed to win it, and a win over the champ's partner would be a good way to get in contention.

("Everyday Combat" hits and the Wild Wolf makes his way to the ring.)

David: Wolf might not be wise to come alone, as Nykk is out here with Ronin Fox, and will be a distraction right off the bat.

Dick: If that's all he is, we should count ourselves lucky.

(FINISH: Fox goes for the Tail End, but Wolf throws him off and dropkicks him. Fox backs into the corner, and Wolf hits him with a charging boot. He hits him with a small package driver, but Nykk pulls on the ref's boot to stop the count. Anubis comes out to ringside, and Nykk makes a run for it. Anubis gets on the apron to protest, but that allows Nykk to get in the ring and nail Wolf with a low blow. Anubis shoves the ref aside and enters the ring, going at it with Nykk. Fox and Wolf join the fray and big brawl erupts as the ref throws the match out.)

Winner: No Contest

David: This thing has broken down, and these two teams don't want to wait until Saturday to settle this!

Dick: What a main event this is going to be at Punked Out. Two of the top teams in MECCA history will finally go at it.

(Officials run in to separate the two teams.)

David: We'll be back with a ladies' tag match, fans.

(Backstage, Bill Bicknell is standing by with Alan Mayse.)

Bill: Alan, last week you won the right to your rematch for the Toughman Title at Punked Out when you made Delirious tap out to the Anklebreaker. Are you considering the masked man a serious threat, or do you just believe that his victory over you was a total fluke?

Alan: Fluke all the way. I'm going to prove a point in this match. The point being that the Toughman Title is my belt, and I can regain it at my leisure. Eddie Crowe found that out the hard way, and he's the only reason I'm not Toughman Champion right now. And trust me, Delirious, I'm not wasting any time with you. I've got bigger fish to fry, and after this Saturday, I will face those obstacles with that Toughman Title around my waist once again.

(Commercial Break)

(Backstage, Bill Bicknell is with Eddie Crowe.)

Bill: Eddie, I'm sure you heard the comments of Alan Mayse before the break, and you want to settle this issue with him just as much as he does, but this Saturday you will be part of Eight-Man Throwdown, the series that Mayse won last year.

Eddie: Yes, Alan did win Eight-Man Throwdown last year, and just like has been the parallel of our careers, anything he can do I can do better. And this Saturday, I will get that title shot at Summertime Showdown, and trust me Alan, I'll have everything settled with you long before I get there. There are seven other talented individuals in that ring at Punked Out, and I'll make sure that my team wins. And in the Four Way Dance later, again it doesn't matter who is in there with me, because I'm doing what I always do. Rising to the occasion and winning the big one. And Anubis or whoever is the champion on August 30 will do well to remember that.

(In the arena, "Third Reich from the Sun" hits and Lisa Letty and Shadow make their way to the ring.)

David: Eddie Crowe is confident he's going to win Eight-Man Throwdown, but right now we have tag team action as the ladies of the House of Lords are about to enter the ring.

Dick: Lisa and Shadow got the shock of a lifetime last week when Kelly Schweickart emerged out of nowhere to turn the tables on the House of Lords, along with Ladies' Champion Naomi Leach.

("Take It Off" hits and Kelly Schweickart and Naomi Leach make their way to the ring.)

David: Shadow and Leach have a big Ladies' Title match coming up in three days on pay-per-view. Shadow wants the belt back that she never lost, and Naomi wants to prove that she can indeed beat Shadow in a title match.

Dick: A similar situation to what Kelly Schweickart found herself in when she was Ladies' Champion, and she was able to finally defeat Shadow. Unfortunately, she has been out for most of the last year with a knee injury, but she looks as ready as ever.

(FINISH: Lisa goes for the Letty Driver on Naomi, but she backdrops her and tags in Kelly. Kelly misses a senton, and Lisa picks her up wheelbarrow style, only for Kelly to counter with an armdrag. She boots Lisa in the face and then hits a hardway suplex, followed by a standing 450. Shadow breaks up the cover, and Naomi hits her with a flying forearm, sending her out of the ring. They go at it on the outside and end up brawling up the aisle and to the back. Kelly goes for another hardway suplex, but Lisa escapes and kicks her. She goes for a butterfly suplex, but she's too close to the ropes and Kelly gets on the turnbuckles. Lisa goes up for a backdrop suplex, but Kelly elbows her and she falls back to the mat. Kelly hits the Kelly Cyclone and covers for the three count.)

Winners: Kelly Schweickart and Naomi Leach

David: Kelly returns with a strong tag team win over the House of Lords, and you know she's going to be cheering Naomi on at Punked Out when she faces Shadow for the Ladies' Title.

Dick: But you know Kelly has to be looking at that title that she lost a year ago and thinking that she has to get back in contention for it. All bets will be off then.

(Backstage, Jamie Chan and Necro Butcher are with Prince Nana.)

Nana: Three days away, my friends! 2008 is going to be the year of the Consulate, and it starts when one of you wins Eight-Man Throwdown and challenges for the World Title on August 30!

Chan: You don't have to worry about a thing, Nana. I approached you and said take me under your wing, I'll go straight to the top of MECCA, and that's what I'm going to do. And Danielson, if we're on opposite sides at Punked Out, I would suggest not getting in my face. But if we're on the same team, I suggest you just stay out of my way.

Nana: That is correct, American Dragon. We will make Ghana proud after Eight-Man Throwdown because with Jamie Chan and the Necro Butcher backing him up, there is no way we will not get the gold.

(Commercial Break)

(In the office, Katie Piehl is standing in front of her desk.)

Katie: Fans, thank you for joining us tonight, and we're about to go to your main event, but first I want to make a quick announcement. As you know, the main event this Saturday will be the House of Lords vs. The Killer Kanines, and since the World Title is not on the line, we'll make it up to you by making the main event next week on Go Time a Four Corners Match for the World Title! Anubis will defend against three men, whom I will choose after Punked Out has concluded. So join us next week and you may just see history be made.

(In the arena, "Drugs" hits and Jamie Chan and Alan Mayse make their way to the ring, along with Prince Nana.)

David: The World Title is up for grabs in a Four Corners Match next week, but it's time for our main event this week, a tag team match.

Dick: Jamie Chan will represent the Consulate, and they've recruited Alan Mayse as his partner as they have in the past.

("The Way I Am" hits and Austin Lee and Bryan Danielson make their way to the ring.)

David: Of course, Alan and Austin have a storied history dating back to RCW, but the real issue here is between Jamie Chan and Bryan Danielson.

Dick: All four of these men will be in Eight-Man Throwdown on Saturday, and if the luck of the draw goes that way, all four of these men could be teaming together.

(FINISH: Austin gives Chan the Degenerate Driver, but Nana gets on the apron. Danielson whips Alan into the guardrail on the outside and pulls Nana off the apron. However, that allows Chan to kick Austin in the face from the mat. Alan rolls into the ring to distract the ref, and before Danielson can get to Nana on the outside, Yoshiaki Yago makes his way down and kicks Danielson in the chest. Meanwhile, Austin hits a double flying kick on Chan and Mayse and goes over and grabs Yago. Alan and Chan distract the ref as Yago nails Austin with a hard palm strike. Alan gives Austin a backbreaker and puts him in a bow-and-arrow lock. Chan goes up and delivers the Falling Dragon to Austin's exposed torso. He covers and gets the three count, as Yago kicks Danielson in the face to knock him back down.)

Winners: Jamie Chan and Alan Mayse

David: Chan and Mayse steal this one thanks to Nana's newest acquisition in the Consulate, Yoshiaki Yago. You think he's bitter much that Danielson advanced into Eight-Man Throwdown over him?

Dick: I don't know how these four guys would co-exist after this, should they end up on the same team.

David: We'll find out this Saturday in St. Louis at Punked Out. We'll see you on PPV, fans!
