("Planet Hell" opening.)
David: MECCA brings Go Time to your home from Baltimore, Maryland, and we're set for quite a night of action. I'm David Mills, along with Dick Broccoli, and tonight is the rematch from the main event of the MECCA Challenge IV. Nykk will challenge Anubis with the World Title on the line!
Dick: Also, the Ladies' Title will be on the line as Naomi Leach makes her first defense against Coquette.
David: Plus we have two qualifying matches for the Eight-Man Throwdown, including one right now!
("Pump It Up" hits and Robbie makes his way to the ring, along with Gary, Omar, Cubby and Stephie.)
David: EEE is in the house, minus the presence of Ryan, who will need all the training he can get if he wants to beat Eddie Crowe later.
Dick: Probably a wise decision on his part.
("Ballroom Blitz" hits and Tristan Lee makes his way to the ring.)
David: Can lightning strike twice? Last week, Tristan's brother Austin qualified over Cubby, and now this week Tristan gets his chance at a guaranteed title shot at Summertime Showdown.
Dick: If Tristan qualifies and he and Austin get on the same team, that would definitely give them an advantage in the eight-man tag. Of course, they would still be forced to go against each other later on in the Four Way Dance.
(FINISH: Robbie goes for a blockbuster, but Tristan moves out of the way. He gives him a spinning heel kick and a hurricarana, covering for two. He goes for the cross legged brainbuster, but Robbie counters with a small package, hooking the ropes with his feet to get the three count.)
Winner: Robbie
David: Robbie just cheated his way into Eight-Man Throwdown, and what a bad break for Tristan Lee!
Dick: He now joins Austin Lee, the Necro Butcher and Jamie Chan as qualified entrants.
(EEE gets in the ring to celebrate, and Ryan comes out from the back to join them. However, Gary gets a mic.)
Gary: Wait a minute, guys. As you know, we've been signed up for an eight-man tag against the Briscoes and Irish Airborne next, and we don't even have a fourth partner. Ryan, you're wrestling later, and we can't ask you to wrestle again, Robbie. What are we going to do?
Stephie: Gary, let me in on the match! I can take out anyone with the last name Briscoe or Crist!
Robbie: Stephie, I'm sure you could, but you're just too much of a delicate flower to put you at risk against those damn townies. But I say... there's only one other thing we can do, Gary. Let our powers combine. Beer!
Ryan: Girls!
Omar: Music!
Cubby: Food!
Gary: Condoms!
All: Go Epsilon!
Epsilon: By your powers combined, I am Captain Epsilon!
(The Captain Epsilon theme hits and Captain Epsilon makes his way to the ring, as EEE is jubilant.)
David: Oh, please. We saw this happen last week when Captain Epsilon made his debut and took out both of the Lees.
Dick: EEE may just be goofing off, but Captain Epsilon makes for one hell of an enforcer, and it looks like they've got their fourth man for the tag.
David: We'll be right back with tag team action, fans!
(Commercial Break)
(In the arena, "Gimme Back My Bullets" hits and the Briscoes and Irish Airborne make their way to the ring.)
David: We're back with eight-man tag team action as the Briscoes and Jake and Dave Crist, the Irish Airborne, take on EEE, represented by Gary, Cubby, Omar and Captain Epsilon.
Dick: EEE was unsuccessful in unseating the Briscoes as tag champs at New Dawn, and the Irish Airborne made a successful debut last week against them, so they definitely have something to prove in this one.
(FINISH: The Briscoes hit a double dive onto Cubby and Epsilon on the outside, and as they brawl, Gary hits a moonsault from the top turnbuckle onto the pile. Omar tries a dive, but Dave catches him in a fireman's carry. He and Jake hit the Irish Air Raid, but Captain Epsilon is back in the ring to break up the cover. He dumps Dave on his head with a wrist clutch exploder and then gives Jake a big boot to spin him around. He gives him a release German suplex, causing him to moonsault onto Mark, who is getting back in the ring. Cubby, Omar and Gary are back up and hit the World's Most Giant Wrestler onto Jake, Dave and Mark. Omar covers Jake for the pin as Epsilon knocks Jay off the apron.)
Winners: EEE
David: The wrestling fraternity has gotten a big group win in there against the Briscoes and Irish Airborne, and of course we've already seen Robbie qualify for Eight-Man Throwdown earlier. Will they go 3-0 when Ryan faces Eddie Crowe later?
Dick: EEE is on a roll, and they are certainly becoming a force to be reckoned with in the tag team division.
(Backstage, Bill Bicknell is with Nykk.)
Bill: Nykk, tonight is the night you have the rematch you've been waiting for. You face Anubis for the World Title in the main event.
Nykk: The fact of the matter is that this match is merely a formality. When I go out to...
(The Wild Wolf enters.)
Wolf: The only fact is that I'm onto you, Nykk, and there is no way you're ruining this for my partner. I know you've probably got Fox poised to interfere already, but it's going to be kind of hard to capitalize if you're out there in a fully body cast.
(Wolf clocks Nykk with a right hand, and they start brawling. Wolf throws Nykk into the wall before Fox jumps in and they start beating on each other. Nykk heads for higher ground as officials come in to separate the two. Katie Piehl arrives as well.)
Katie: No, no way, you two! Security! Get them out of here. They're banned from the building for the rest of the night. This main event goes off without a hitch!
(Commercial Break)
(In the arena, "Filthy/Gorgeous" hits and Coquette makes her way to the ring.)
David: We're all set for our Ladies' Title match, and Coquette finally managed to secure this shot last week when she defeated Nikki Chandler.
Dick: Naomi Leach may have achieved her goal of the Ladies' Title, but Coquette plans on making her celebration a short one.
("Fall Behind Me" hits and Naomi Leach makes her way to the ring.)
David: Naomi was finally able to win the vacant Ladies' Title at New Dawn when she defeated her old rival Lisa Letty, but the champ's life is already under stress. Not only is she faced with Coquette here tonight, Shadow is already making noise about regaining the title she feels she never really lost.
Dick: Naomi has to take it one day at a time if she wants to remain champion for long, and she's faced with a tough challenge in the French Fashion Plate.
(FINISH: Coquette gives Naomi a flapjack and tries to lock in the Coquettish Clutch, but Naomi gets free and knees her in the face. She gives her a back suplex with a bridge for a two count. She goes for the Leach Hold, but Coquette gets to her feet. She hits a northern lights suplex with a bridge, and Naomi tries to counter into the Leach Hold, but Coquette quickly gets to her feet. She kicks up at Naomi to free herself and headbutts her in the midsection. She bounces off the ropes and tries a neckbreaker, but Naomi rolls through it and drives her head into her knee. She hits the NL Special and covers for the three count.)
Winner: Naomi Leach
David: Naomi Leach retains, and you know Shadow had to be watching this match closely.
Dick: Naomi just won a hard fought defense, and it's only going to get tougher from here.
(Backstage, Katie Piehl is in her office.)
Katie: Hello, fans, this is the MECCA Executor Katie Piehl here, and I promise you despite the events earlier on, Nykk is ready to go, but of course Fox and the Wild Wolf have been banned from the building to ensure they don't spoil your main event. But right now I want to talk about Punked Out, and the Eight-Man Throwdown. We've already seen Austin Lee, Jamie Chan, Necro Butcher and Robbie qualify, and either Eddie Crowe or Ryan will qualify later. But next week, we will determine the last three spots in that match. At the request of Prince Nana, who has been campaigning for a tag title shot for his team the Surgeons, next week it will be double or nothing. The Briscoes will put the belts on the line against Stryker and Walters, and the winners will also qualify for Eight-Man Throwdown. That leaves one spot, and I'm proud to announce that MECCA has secured the return of Yoshiaki Yago, who will be faced with stiff competition if he wants to go to Punked Out, because he will be facing the American Dragon Bryan Danielson in the last qualifying match. Thank you, and I hope you join us next week.
(The Pyro Twins, Lisa Letty and Shadow enter.)
Shadow: You wanted to see us?
Katie: Yes. As you all know, your buddy Fox has been banned from the building so there's no chance he can interfere in the main event tonight. I just want to make sure you four are clear on a few things before you decide to go out there and give your boss a helping hand. Jay, Dusty, if I see your faces out there in that arena, you will both be suspended a month without pay!
Jay: Oh, come on!
Katie: And that goes for either one of you. If I see one Pyro Twin, both will get the suspension. Lisa, I know you think you have the right to be in your boyfriend's corner, but in case you haven't noticed, your MECCA contract is up soon and its renewal is entirely in my hands. If I see you out there, the next time you're in Nykk's corner it will be from the crowd because you will be out of here! And that brings us to Shadow...
Shadow: When do I get my title shot, Katie? I never lost the belt, and I...
Katie: Blah, blah, blah. I've heard the whole sad story before, Shadow, you're like a broken record. But actually you and Naomi do need to settle your differences, and I'm going to give you your title shot at Punked Out... if you stay out of the main event tonight. Because if I see you out there, I'll make sure you never get another shot at the Ladies' Title again. Now, are there any questions?
Dusty: No.
Lisa: No.
Katie: Are we all clear on our roles tonight?
Shadow: Yes.
Katie: Good.
(Commercial Break)
(In the arena, "At the Helm" hits and Ryan makes his way to the ring.)
David: It's time for our next qualifying match for Eight-Man Throwdown, and we've already seen EEE dominant tonight as Robbie qualified earlier, and then the rest of the members won a big eight-man tag.
Dick: Ryan wants to make his frat brothers proud, but he has a hell of an opponent in front of him.
("Noots" hits and Eddie Crowe makes his way to the ring.)
David: Eddie Crowe is a former triple crown champion, and he held the World Title for over a year. However, he was on the receiving end of a hellacious ladder match at New Dawn, and his ankle may still not be a hundred percent.
Dick: That's a weakness that Ryan will need to capitalize on in order to pull out the victory.
David: These two do not have a good history, and were even forced to team together this past weekend on Rundown, and they ended up losing a Four Corners tag match to one half of the main event at Punked Out, the Killer Kanines.
(FINISH: Ryan gives Eddie an enzugiri and then goes for a German suplex, but Eddie lands on his feet, tweaking his ankle. Ryan uses the distraction to roll him up, but Eddie kicks out. Ryan vaults off the second rope, but Eddie dropkicks him out of midair. He gives him the running brainbuster, followed by the Eddie Dive and covers for the three count.)
Winner: Eddie Crowe
David: Eddie Crowe has broken EEE's momentum, and he wants that title shot at Summertime Showdown!
Dick: Unfortunately for him, he still has seven other guys to deal with at Punked Out. But if anyone is up to the challenge, it's our former champion.
(As Eddie celebrates, Alan Mayse runs in and clips the knee. He stomps on Eddie's ankle and then locks in the Anklebreaker. Eddie taps out as officials come out and get him off before he can break the ankle.)
David: Alan Mayse is out here, and he's looking for some payback. Neither one of these men is Toughman Champion anymore after Eddie cost his rival his first defense last week against Delirious!
Dick: Mayse won't forget that, or the fact that Delirious has the belt he worked so hard to get back.
(Alan gets a mic.)
Alan: I am so sick of seeing your face, Eddie Crowe. I finally beat you fair and square at New Dawn, and what did you do? You cost me my title! Well, just let this be a warning. If I don't get my belt back from Delirious, I may just take you both out!
(Alan throws down the mic and leaves.)
David: Alan is on the warpath, but he needs to be careful about dividing his focus here. When we come back, it's the main event. A rematch from the MECCA Challenge IV as Anubis takes on Nykk, with the World Title on the line!
(Commercial Break)
(In the locker room, Tristan Lee is sitting on a bench looking depressed. Austin Lee is there with him.)
Austin: Come on, Tristan. Robbie had to cheat to beat you. You had that match well in hand, it was just bad luck.
Tristan: Now I won't get to wrestle for the title. EEE is going to get it for this.
Austin: And rest assured, I'll be right there with you. And as for the rest of the field for Eight-Man Throwdown... I came back last summer not only to help defeat Nykk and the House of Lords, but to become the MECCA World Champion. Now I feel it's my time, and my opportunity is coming up on June 27. Anubis, I'm sure you'll just mow through the competition until you get to Summertime Showdown. But that's where it all ends. It ends with me raising that belt above my head, because I will be the one to vanquish the big man. And Nykk, if you should somehow regain that title, well, that RCW Championship I won from you is now part of that MECCA Championship. It will be double sweet indeed to win that belt, especially if it's from you.
(In the arena, "Destroy" hits and Nykk makes his way to the ring.)
David: It all comes down to this for Nykk. No friends to help him out, just the realization that he's already lost once against his opponent tonight and has to come up with something if he wants to regain the World Title.
Dick: Nykk claims that the reason he couldn't keep Anubis down is because he could never apply the Cedarleaf, but can he even get the big man's legs over for that?
("Kobrakai" hits and Anubis makes his way to the ring.)
David: Anubis got past former champion Kevin Stone at New Dawn, and now he's faced with his opponent from the MECCA Challenge IV. He and the Wild Wolf have a big tag team main event coming up against Nykk and Fox at Punked Out, but tonight it's all about the title.
Dick: Anubis is so overpowering, but Nykk has proven time and time again that when he's outmatched physically, he goes to his smarts. Has he figured out a way to beat Anubis?
Jared: Ladies and gentlemen, this is your Go Time main event, and it is for the MECCA World Championship! Introducing first, the challenger... from Bellbrook, Ohio, and weighing in at 225 lbs... he is a former two-time MECCA World Champion... this is Nyyyyyykk! And his opponent... from Cairo, Egypt, by way of Detroit, Michigan... weighing in at 315 lbs... he is the current reigning and defending MECCA World Heavyweight Champion... Anuuuubiiiis!
(FINISH: Nykk tips up in the corner, but gets caught by Anubis. Before he can be planted with the Sarcophagus, Nykk escapes and slides between the legs on his back, tripping Anubis and rolling backward to lock in the Cedarleaf. He drills him the side with knees, but Anubis still doesn't tap out. He pushes up from the mat and manages to free himself, sending Nykk careening into the turnbuckles. He backs up right into the Pyramid Lock, but Nykk escapes and gets behind Anubis. He gives him a back suplex, and rolls through for a German, but gets elbowed in the face. Anubis gives him a backdrop driver, and then picks him up and hits the Sarcophagus. Nykk tries to get a foot on the ropes, but he's just a bit too far away, and Anubis gets the three count.)
Winner: Anubis
David: Anubis braved the Cedarleaf and came back to win the match, and Nykk has failed to regain the World Title!
Dick: Katie Piehl has to be happy about this, as Anubis continues his dominant reign as MECCA Champion.
David: We'll see you all next week, fans, as we determine the last three participants for Eight-Man Throwdown!
