("Planet Hell" opening.)
David: We are here in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, as MECCA presents Go Time! I'm David Mills, along with Dick Broccoli, and we all witnessed the crowning of a new Toughman Champion at New Dawn as Alan Mayse defeated Eddie Crowe. However, tonight Alan will put his title on the line against another winner from the PPV, Delirious!
Dick: Also, we will see two qualifying matches for the Eight-Man Throwdown at Punked Out, and one of them is on right now!
("Pump It Up" hits and Cubby makes his way to the ring, along with Robbie, Ryan, Gary, Omar and Stephie.)
David: EEE is on their way to the ring, and though their bid at the tag titles was unsuccessful at New Dawn, they're going to try their hand at the World Title, as the winner of the Eight-Man Throwdown at Punked Out will receive an automatic title shot at Summertime Showdown in August.
Dick: This match will be to qualify for the random eight-man tag that gives the Throwdown its namesake, and EEE will be represented by Cubby in this one.
("The Way I Am" hits and Austin Lee makes his way to the ring.)
David: Austin Lee is going at it alone out here, not even bringing his brother out with him. Austin would love to get that title shot.
Dick: His dreams of being tag champs with his brother were derailed for the moment by Nykk and Fox at New Dawn, but this would be a good way to bounce back.
(FINISH: Austin goes for the Degenerate Driver, but drops Cubby when he sees Ryan get on the apron. He takes a swing at him, but he drops back down to the floor. Cubby schoolboys Austin for two, and then hits a clothesline. He says that's it and lifts Austin onto his shoulders for Go 2 College. Austin slips off and sends Cubby headlong into Omar and Gary, who had also gotten on the apron. Cubby turns around and walks right into a flying kick, and Austin covers for the pin.)
Winner: Austin Lee
David: Austin Lee is going to Punked Out as part of Eight-Man Throwdown, and we'll have another qualifying match later, this one being a tag team encounter between the Consulate and Bloodlust.
Dick: A strong win for Austin, and he can only hope that he has capable partners come June 28, because the teams will be at random.
(As Austin leaves the ring, "Kobrakai" hits and Anubis makes his way to the ring. Austin stops him in the aisle and motions that the belt is coming to him at Summertime Showdown. Anubis keeps walking after a perfunctory glance.)
David: The World Champion is making his way to the ring, as Anubis was successful in his title defense against Kevin Stone at New Dawn. But it looks like he has something to say.
(Anubis gets the mic.)
Anubis: Back at the MECCA Challenge IV, I proved I was the real deal by making Nykk tap out in the middle of the ring. Anyone who didn't think so after that witnessed me tapping out Kevin Stone this past Saturday. But next week, I'm once again going one on one with Nykk. But this time, I'm the champion and he's the challenger. And don't you ever forget that, Nykk. By the time I'm done with you...
("Third Reich from the Sun" hits and Nykk and Ronin Fox make their way to the ring.)
David: Nykk and Fox are on their way to the ring, and it looks like he's going to take exception to the comments of Anubis.
(Nykk gets a mic.)
Nykk: Fox and I have made our way out to the ring, because I take exception to your comments, Anubis.
Dick: Is there an echo in here?
Nykk: Yes, the House of Lords is down right now, but we're definitely not out, as Fox and I proved at New Dawn. But next week, I'll be regaining what's rightfully mine. The House of Lords will be back on top again, with myself as champion. There is not a force on this earth that can stop me, because like I said before, the only reason you were able to beat me is because I could not lock in the Cedarleaf properly on you. I won't make that mistake again. Do you understand what I'm saying? Do you...
(Anubis notices Fox trying to make his way behind him and lays him out with a right hand. Nykk attacks, and Fox joins in. They double team Anubis, and Nykk goes outside the ring to get a chair. As he prepares to slam it into Anubis's knee, the Wild Wolf runs out. He ducks a chair shot from Nykk and gives him an enzugiri. Fox attacks him and whips him into the ropes, but Wolf hangs on, and Anubis gets behind Fox. He lifts him into a military press and dumps him outside the ring. Wolf hits a running boot to Nykk in the corner, and then he and Anubis whip him into the ropes. However, Fox trips Nykk from the outside and drags him out of the ring. They retreat up the aisle.)
David: Nykk and Fox tried a preemptive strike on Anubis, but thankfully the Wild Wolf was watching. The Killer Kanines are back together again.
Dick: It should be a wild main event next week when we see the rematch from the MECCA Challenge IV.
David: We'll be right back with a number one contender's match for the Ladies' Title!
(Commercial Break)
(In the arena, "Filthy/Gorgeous" hits and Coquette makes her way to the ring.)
David: We're about to crown a number one contender for the Ladies' Title, and the winner of this match will get the first shot against Naomi Leach right here next week.
Dick: Coquette has been after the title shot for the last month, and has a string of victories under her belt, but she needs one more to put her over the top.
("Bad Reputation" hits and Nikki Chandler makes her way to the ring.)
David: We saw Nikki at New Dawn, though she ended up costing her team of the Lee Brothers a victory against Nykk and Ronin Fox inadvertently. We understand that as a result of that, she and the Lees have parted ways for the time being.
Dick: Now she can focus on her singles career and getting that Ladies' Title shot.
(FINISH: Chandler goes for the C4 on Coquette, but she elbows her way out of it and gets a waistlock. Chandler reverses, but Coquette counters with a drop toehold and segues into the Coquettish Clutch. After a few moments, Chandler taps out.)
Winner: Coquette
David: It will be Coquette going for the Ladies' Title next week after a hard fought contest, and the French Fashion Plate is ready to step up here in MECCA.
Dick: What a victory for Coquette, and if she can keep the momentum going, we could be looking at our next Ladies' Champion right there.
(Backstage, Katie Piehl is in her office.)
Katie: Hello fans, this is the Executor of MECCA, Katie Piehl. As you all have seen earlier, Austin Lee has qualified for the Eight-Man Throwdown, which will take place live on pay-per-view at Punked Out on June 28. Eight men will be randomly put together in an eight-man tag, with the winners going on to face each other later in the night in a Four Way Dance, with a World Title shot at Summertime Showdown on the line. I just wanted to announce the signing of two more qualifying matches for next week. EEE may not have qualified this week, but they'll have their chances next week as well. First, Robbie will take on the other Lee Brother, Tristan Lee. Then, Ryan will take on former Toughman Champion Eddie Crowe. Who will win through to the Eight-Man Throwdown? You'll have to tune in next week to find out. Speaking of qualifying matches, we'll be right back as Jamie Chan and the Necro Butcher will team to take on Bloodlust.
(Commercial Break)
(In the arena, "Drugs" hits and Jamie Chan and the Necro Butcher make their way to the ring, along with Prince Nana.)
David: Prince Nana had a disappointing night at New Dawn, with Chan losing to Bryan Danielson and the Surgeons failing to win the tag belts, but they certainly got their revenge on Danielson after the match.
Dick: Danielson was enraged by that attack, and I don't think we've seen the last of that feud. But Nana still wants that gold, and if Necro and Chan can win here, they'll both get spots in the Eight-Man Throwdown.
("Dead is the New Alive" hits and Bloodlust make their way to the ring, along with Medea Knight.)
David: This is interesting, because it was Prince Nana who bought the contracts of the Surgeons from Medea Knight back in December, and Medea acquired this team of Bloodlust a bit later. These two managers have done business in the past, but tonight it's about going to Punked Out.
Dick: Bloodlust have been hearing the cheers from the fans ever since they stood up to Nykk and Ronin Fox, and this is their chance to capitalize on that.
(FINISH: Torea hits a tornado flatliner on Chan and goes for the cover, but Necro breaks it up. Kavian hits Necro with some rights and tries to whip him into the ropes. Necro reverses, and Kavian tries to springboard off the second rope, but Necro clocks him with a hard right, knocking him out. Torea gives him a dropkick to send him out of the ring, but Chan gives him a jawbreaker. He gives him a spinning back kick to double him over and then runs up the turnbuckles, and does a moonsault where his feet strike Torea in the back of the head. He goes down, and Chan covers for the three count.)
Winners: Jamie Chan and Necro Butcher
David: The Consulate is going to Punked Out, and Nana wants that title shot for his clients.
Dick: Nana has to be extremely pleased after the events of New Dawn, and now Austin Lee, Necro Butcher and Jamie Chan have all qualified for Eight-Man Throwdown.
David: We'll be back in a few moments, fans.
(Backstage, Naomi Leach is leaning against a wall with the Ladies' Championship over her shoulder.)
Naomi: May 31, 2008... what a day it was. All my training, all my time in RCW and elsewhere, making a name for myself here... it all came to a head. I was faced with an old rival, and I achieved what I came here to do, and that is become the Ladies' Champion. But now, all that is meaningless. Now a new goal begins, and that is to stay the Ladies' Champion. Because I promise all you fans that I will not let it slip back into the grasp of the House of Lords, and next week, Coquette, you're about to figure out why I was in such high demand that I had to leave this country for years. You're nothing but a stepping stone, and I'm going...
(Shadow enters.)
Shadow: Naomi Leach. Yeah, you went into New Dawn and you beat Lisa. I think I speak for all of us when I say... whoopty-doo. Because as I started to tell you after the match, I am not finished with you yet. You've got something that rightfully belongs to me, something that you could not beat me for. And until you do, your entire reign will be held in doubt.
Naomi: It's true that I couldn't beat you, even though every time we faced each other a technicality prevented that from happening. But what are you saying, Shadow? That you want a shot at my title?
Shadow: No, I want a shot to get MY belt back. And I'll make sure I get it, or I'll bring down this entire division.
(Shadow exits.)
(Commercial Break)
(In the arena, "Pump It Up" hits and Omar and Gary make their way to the ring, along with Robbie, Ryan and Stephie.)
David: More tag team action on the way, and I guess Cubby decided to sit this one out after his loss earlier to Austin Lee.
Dick: EEE will have two more chances to qualify for Eight-Man Throwdown next week as we heard earlier, when Ryan will take on Eddie Crowe and Robbie will take on Tristan Lee.
("The Walking Dead" by Dropkick Murphys hits and the Irish Airborne make their way to the ring.)
David: We're seeing the in-ring debut of Jake and Dave Crist, the Irish Airborne, right here on Go Time!
Dick: It was about a month ago that these two came in and saved the Lees from an attack by Epsilon Epsilon Epsilon, but now they're finally ready to take it to the ring.
(They show clips of the Irish Airborne run-in the previous month.)
(FINISH: Dave kicks Gary and Jake follows up with a mafia kick to send him down, and then Dave hits a senton splash. Gary saves his partner with a springboard double dropkick and then whips Jake into the corner. He charges, but Jake gets a boot up and he staggers back into a modified back suplex from Dave, dumping him right on his head. Omar forearms Dave a few times, but Dave fires back and then Jake gives him the Double Shot. The Irish Airborne then hit the Irish Air Raid, and Jake covers for the three count.)
Winners: Irish Airborne
David: The Crists pick up a victory over EEE in their debut, and we just saw firsthand the teamwork that the Irish Airborne can implement.
Dick: These guys have hit the ground running for sure, and we may have a new force here in the tag team division.
(Robbie and Ryan get in the ring and attack the Crists, who fight back until Cubby makes his way out and takes them down from behind with a double clothesline. EEE stomps away on the Irish Airborne until the Lee Brothers come out. They send EEE running, and they regroup in the aisle as officials help the Crists to the back.)
David: The Lees are returning the favor to the Irish Airborne, who saved them a month ago. But what are EEE doing?
(Robbie has a mic.)
Robbie: That's enough! We've had it up to here with our party being ruined by the likes of you two. So what we're going to do is give you Lees about three seconds to get out of here, or we're calling down the thunder!
(The Lees laugh at that notion.)
Robbie: Fine. I guess we have no choice. EEE... let our powers combine. (thrusts a ring he's wearing into the air) Beer!
(His teammates each to the same in succession.)
Ryan: Girls!
Omar: Music!
Cubby: Food!
Gary: Condoms!
All: Go Epsilon!
Voice: By your powers combined, I am Captain Epsilon!
(Some heroic music hits and Captain Epsilon makes his way to the ring. He's a large, muscular guy wearing a mask and a vest with EEE emblazoned on it.)
David: What in the hell...
Dick: Did they just rip off what I think they ripped off?
David: I guess this is Captain Epsilon, who has been "summoned" I guess, by EEE!
(Captain Epsilon gets in the ring and attacks both Lees. They fight back, but he manages to fight them off, and EEE pull down the ropes, sending Austin tumbling to the outside. Tristan hits a dropkick that doesn't faze Epsilon, and he charges again, but gets caught in a chokeslam. Tristan rolls to his feet, but gets bowled over with a lariat. Epsilon gives him a belly-to-back lift, but then drives him down with another clothesline. Austin gets back into the ring, but gets a spinebuster from Epsilon. He then picks him up and gives him a wrist-clutch exploder. Tristan gets to his feet, and goes for a hurricanrana, but Epsilon lifts him back up and powerbombs him onto his brother. EEE get in the ring and celebrate with him as his music plays.)
David: Whoever this Captain Epsilon is, EEE has certainly just made great use of him as an enforcer, as he has completely wiped out the Lees. We'll be back with our main event, as Alan Mayse defends the Toughman Title against Delirious, but first Bill Bicknell is standing by with the former champion.
(Backstage, Bill Bicknell is with Eddie Crowe.)
Bill: Eddie, this past Saturday at New Dawn you took on Alan Mayse in a Ladder Match for the Toughman Title. Just when it seemed you had things in hand, Mayse applied the Anklebreaker, rendering you unable to climb the ladder and, well, you're now no longer the Toughman Champion.
Eddie: It's okay, Bill, it really is. Alan did what he had to do to win, and I see you what you did, Mayse. You played me like a fiddle all along, luring me into that kind of match. But Alan, you're fooling yourself if you think it's over between us. I can play games too.
(Eddie exits.)
(Commercial Break)
(In the office, Nykk and Ronin Fox are with Katie Piehl.)
Nykk: Katie, you saw what happened out there, right? A completely unprovoked attack by the Wild Wolf. They're not even regularly teaming anymore! He had nothing to do with my and Anubis's business.
Katie: Neither did Fox. What's your point?
Nykk: That doesn't... anyway, Anubis will pay next week when I take the title back to the House of Lords, but we're not done with them yet.
Fox: We want these so-called Killer Kanines in the main event at Punked Out. Do the right thing, Katie. Make the match.
Katie: You just want that match so that if Nykk should win the title next week, he won't have to defend it.
Nykk: How dare you question my integrity!
Katie: I'll tell you what, you can have the match. That's just the kind of tag team dream match our fans want to see.
Fox: Absolutely. I mean, we see a bit of ourselves in those guys.
Katie: But if you don't win next week, Nykk, the match is still on. Neither you or Fox is getting a title shot at Punked Out. Now if you'll excuse me...
(Katie exits.)
Nykk: I have to win next week.
Fox: I know.
Nykk: You're going to take care of the Wolf, right?
Fox: Don't worry about it.
(In the arena, "Hybrid Stigmata" hits and Delirious makes his way to the ring.)
David: We've got a big main event for you here as the Toughman Title is on the line, and Delirious is looking extra enthusiastic here tonight.
Dick: He had a big night at New Dawn, beating Matt Sydal in his last night here in MECCA, and now he's here to take the Toughman Title.
("This is Not My Life" hits and Alan Mayse makes his way to the ring.)
David: Alan's quest to win back the title that he spearheaded, the Toughman Title, came to its conclusion at New Dawn, when he beat Eddie Crowe in the Ladder Match. However, Eddie was not too happy with Alan earlier, and he says it's not over between them.
Dick: The fans are the real winners when you get a rivalry between two top performers like this, and Eddie and Alan are delivering big time.
(FINISH: Alan goes for the Tiger Bomb, but Delirious lands on his feet and counters with BAM! Eddie Crowe makes his way to ringside as Delirious hits Alan with several more clotheslines and then goes for the Bizarro Driver. Alan slips out and segues into the Anklebreaker, but Eddie gets on the apron and Alan lets go before Delirious can tap out. He shoves Eddie to the floor, and the ref tells him to concentrate on the match. Eddie gets on the apron, and Alan starts hitting him with rights. The ref separates the two, and Alan then kicks Delirious, throwing him into Eddie, who goes back to the floor. Alan moves in, but Delirious gives him a drop toehold across the ropes. As the ref tells him to get away, Eddie gives Alan an enzugiri from the floor. Alan staggers into Delirious, who takes him down with a fireman's carry roll into a pinning combination for the three count.)
Winner: Delirious
David: Delirious wins! We have a new Toughman Champion already!
Dick: Eddie has just fueled the fire that was already burning hot. After months of chasing the Toughman Title, Alan got it only to lose it to Delirious, thanks to his rival!
(Alan goes for Delirious, but he gets out of the ring with the belt in his mouth and shows it off to Eddie. Eddie congratulates him as he leaves, and then stares down Alan.)
David: This just heated up big time, fans. Either Eddie doesn't care about regaining the Toughman Title, or he figures he can win it from Delirious at a later date. But this feud may no longer be for a title, but it's definitely personal now. We'll see you next week, fans!
