Go Time: 5/21/08

Miami, FL

Rundown Results:
Tristan Lee b. Cubby
Alexander/Star b. Danger/Magenta
Wild Wolf b. Necro Butcher
Delirious b. Kevin Stone

("Planet Hell" opening.)

David: MECCA is back in Miami, Florida, with another edition of Go Time! I'm David Mills, along with Dick Broccoli, and tonight in the main event Matt Sydal goes for the Toughman Title one last time before his contract expires, as he takes on the reigning champion Eddie Crowe.

Dick: Also, participants in the Four Way Dance for the tag titles at New Dawn will go at it in a singles Four Corners Match. Dusty Schneble takes on Jay Briscoe, Gary and John Walters.

David: Plus Sara Del Rey takes on Allison Danger and much more to come.

("Third Reich from the Sun" hits and Nykk and Ronin Fox make their way to the ring.)

David: The House of Lords have to be proud of themselves lately. Not only will Lisa Letty be going for the vacant Ladies' Title at New Dawn, but last week Nykk earned a rematch for the World Title in the main event.

Dick: He'll take on the winner of Anubis vs. Kevin Stone at New Dawn at a later date, but these two will have their hands full anyway on that event as they go against the Lee Brothers.

(Fox gets a mic.)

Fox: In just a short while, everyone will witness the House of Lords' return to the top of this business. Last week we had a Triangle Match to determine a future challenger for the World Title, and despite my best efforts, Nykk came out on top. And Nykk, you are the former champ, you earned this chance, and I'm sure I'll get my shot soon anyway.

Nykk: Yeah... we'll have to discuss that later. But in the meantime, Anubis, yes you may have made me tap out at the MECCA Challenge, but there was one thing that would have spelled your doom during that match. I never got to cinch in the Cedarleaf. If I had done that, it would be you tapping, and you know it. But before that, we have yet another match against these Lee Brothers at the pay-per-view. Austin, I know you took great pride in being the last RCW Champion, but who took that way from you in that Unification Match? Me. Your little brother is nowhere near ready to take on the likes of us, and at New Dawn we're going to show you what it takes to hang at the top of the...

("Dead is the New Alive" hits and Bloodlust make their way to the ring, along with Medea Knight.)

David: Wait a minute, here come Bloodlust and Medea Knight. What are they doing?

Dick: It was two weeks ago when Nykk and Fox started their little tantrum about not having a title shot, and it was Bloodlust that got caught in the way.

Nykk: Shut off that music, that has no business playing during our time. What in the hell do you want?

(Kavian takes the mic.)

Kavian: Two weeks ago, you laid us up right before our match. So we figured we'd come out here this time, and get the jump on you!

(Bloodlust attack Nykk and Fox, and whip them into the ropes. Torea hits a spinning wheel kick on Fox as Kavian gives Nykk a hip toss into a suplex. They roll out of the ring as Torea picks up the mic.)

Torea: We're ready to make our name at your expense. We want a match with you two right now!

(Nykk and Fox yell at them from the floor and accept the challenge, getting back into the ring and brawling with them.)

David: It looks like we have an impromptu match, as Nykk and Fox are pissed off and ready for action!

(FINISH: Nykk goes for the Trinity on Torea, but Kavian catches his partner off the German suplex on his shoulders and swings him around, kicking Nykk down to the mat. He throws him at Fox, and Torea takes him down with a flatliner. They give Nykk the Bloodletting and Torea covers, but Fox slides between Kavian's legs and dropkicks Torea in the head to break it up. Kavian pounds away on Fox and whips him into the ropes. Torea gets in position for another double team and Kavian lifts Fox as Nykk clips Torea's knee. He goes down as Fox counters into a Tail End on Kavian. Nykk locks in the Cedarleaf on Torea, and he taps out.)

Winners: Nykk and Ronin Fox

David: The former tag team champions pick up the victory, but what a showing by the inexperienced duo of Kavian and Torea!

Dick: I don't think Nykk and Fox were expecting that much of a challenge, but nonetheless, they get the win here on Go Time.

(As they celebrate, the Lee Brothers come in from the crowd. Austin attacks Nykk while Fox and Tristan exchange forearms. He gives Fox a jawbreaker and Austin ducks a Roaring Hammer from Nykk, allowing Tristan to give him a hurricanrana. Austin sends Fox out of the ring with a flying kick, and Nykk rolls out to join him.)

David: The Lees are getting some as well, as payback for when Nykk and Fox attacked Tristan last week!

Dick: You have to think a big win over Nykk and Fox would get the Lee Brothers under consideration for a tag title match after New Dawn, especially with three other teams getting a chance at that event.

David: We're going to take a short break, but we'll have Sara Del Rey against Allison Danger when we return!

(Commercial Break)

(Backstage, Bill Bicknell is with Matt Sydal.)

Bill: Matt Sydal, as you revealed two weeks ago, you have signed a contract to go elsewhere and will leave MECCA after the end of the month. However, tonight you have one last goal to accomplish, and that's finally winning the Toughman Title.

Sydal: A lot of people look at me and say that I'm not fit to hold the Toughman Title. I've hung in the ring with the likes of Cynric, Alan Mayse and the Pyro Twins. If that doesn't prove my toughness, what does? Yet this belt keeps eluding me. But tonight, Eddie Crowe, tonight I'm coming to that ring with one... one...

(He recoils as Delirious crawls up behind him, tapping him on the leg.)

Sydal: What do you want!?

(Delirious pops to his feet.)

Delirious: Ghonitt ama jussa suptorp Sydal, bah!

Sydal: Are you serious? After what I said to you, you're still hanging around? I'm too good for this team, and after May 31, I'm out of here. I'm gone! Do you understand?

(Delirious stares off into space, chewing on his tassles.)

Sydal: Screw this!

(He walks away, but then comes back from the side, blindsiding Delirious. He goes down, and Sydal stomps away on him.)

Sydal: Do you get it now? Do you!?

(He exits, and Delirious pounds on the ground, roaring in frustration.)

(In the arena, "A to Z" hits and Allison Danger makes her way to the ring.)

David: Matt Sydal has severed all ties with his former tag team partner Delirious after that uncalled for attack. The guy was just confused that you were leaving, Sydal, there was no need for that.

Dick: Right now we've got two women from our ladies' division ready to battle it out. For whatever reason, Allison Danger interfered in Sara Del Rey's match last week and cost her the victory against Coquette.

("Alcoholocaust" hits and Sara Del Rey makes her way to the ring.)

David: The American Angel is irate that someone she's been up and down the road with like Allison Danger would do that to her, and we've gotten no explanation of why that happened.

Dick: Perhaps Allison Danger felt that Del Rey was too much of a threat to her chances at getting a shot at whoever comes out of New Dawn as the Ladies' Champion.

(FINISH: Allison goes for the Shimmering Warlock, but Sara ducks it and hits a German suplex with a bridge for two. She lifts Danger, who escapes and hits a reverse chinbreaker. She goes for the Old School Expulsion, but Del Rey counters and lifts her into the Royal Butterfly. After a few moments, she takes her over with the powerslam and covers for the three count.)

Winner: Sara Del Rey

David: Del Rey gets her revenge on Allison Danger, and you know she's also going to be taking a close look at Lisa Letty vs. Naomi Leach at New Dawn.

Dick: These ladies are hyped up for the return of the Ladies' Championship, and a new champion will be crowned on May 31.

David: We've got Four Corners action coming up when we return!

(Commercial Break)

(Backstage, Bryan Danielson is in the middle of being attacked by Prince Nana and Jamie Chan. Officials hurry in to break it up, and Nana laughs.)

Nana: You see what you get, Bryan, when you go up against the Consulate? Jamie Chan is the best in the world, and he will prove it at New Dawn!

(They exit, as Danielson angrily gets to his feet.)

(In the arena, "Pump It Up" hits and Gary makes his way to the ring, along with Robbie, Ryan, Omar, Cubby and Stephie.)

David: What an uncalled for attack by Nana and Chan, as they try and throw Danielson off his game before the big match on May 31.

Dick: At least it was stopped before it got out of hand, thanks to the zebra herd.

("Lava" hits and John Walters makes his way to the ring, along with Matt Stryker.)

David: We've got a Four Corners Match, featuring representatives from each team involved in the Four Way Dance at New Dawn. Gary will represent EEE, and John Walters represents the Surgeons.

Dick: All these teams want the MECCA Tag Team Championship, and the Briscoes have a hell of a night ahead of them in Trenton.

("Burning Times" hits and Dusty Schneble makes his way to the ring, along with Jay Crowe.)

David: The Pyro Twins desperately want to regain the titles they lost last fall, and they couldn't do it against the Briscoes at the MECCA Challenge IV. Now they have one last shot.

Dick: A win here for Dusty could definitely mean momentum going into that match.

("Gimme Back My Bullets" hits and Jay Briscoe makes his way to the ring, along with Mark Briscoe.)

David: The Briscoes have turned back all challengers since winning those belts from Nykk and Fox, but now they're faced with three teams, all with the goal of dethroning them.

Dick: The Briscoes are always ready for a fight, and they don't care how many teams it is. It's just another day at the office for them at New Dawn.

(FINISH: Dusty reverses a whip on Jay, who slides between his legs and hits an enzugiri. He covers, but Walters breaks it up. Jay sends him through the ropes, as Gary charges him. Jay launches Gary overhead, but he lands on the top rope and hits a somersault plancha onto Walters and Stryker on the outside. Dusty ducks a clothesline from Jay, who charges him at the ropes. Dusty backdrops him and Jay lands on the apron. He forearms Dusty and springboards to the top rope, but Dusty shakes the ropes and Jay falls midsection first onto the top rope. Dusty pulls him out and hits the Rope Burn II, covering for the three count.)

Winner: Dusty Schneble

David: Dusty gets the victory, and the Pyro Twins are serious about beating the Briscoes and taking back those tag belts.

(Dusty continues to stomp away on Jay, until Mark comes in and hammers away on Dusty. That brings Jay Crowe in the ring, and the other teams start to brawl as well. Jamie Chan runs out to help the Surgeons battle EEE, but Bryan Danielson runs out behind him and they brawl to the back.)

David: It's pandemonium out here, but we're told that the officials can't break this one up because there's something going on in the back. Everyone's fighting!

(Backstage, officials are desperately trying to hold apart Kevin Stone and Anubis. After jawing back and forth, they start flinging referees aside like they're toys and go at it. After a few moments of brawling, more officials and suits arrive to pull the two apart and separate them.)

(Commercial Break)

(In the arena, "Everyday Combat" hits and the Wild Wolf makes his way to the ring.)

David: We're back with a rematch from Rundown, where the Wild Wolf was victorious over the Necro Butcher.

Dick: This all started last week on Go Time when Necro pinned the Wolf after a chokeslam onto a chair in that tag match. And he's not waiting. Here he comes!

(Necro runs through the curtain and attacks the Wild Wolf from behind. They brawl into the ring, where the ref calls for the bell.)

(FINISH: Wolf flips out of a back suplex and nails Necro with some rights. He bounces off the ropes, but Necro nails him with a straight right, taking him off his feet. The ref warns about the closed fist, and Nana gets on the apron. That allows Necro to go to the outside and get a chair. He sets up a tiger driver onto the chair, but Wolf powers out and backdrops Necro. The ref turns back around as Wolf picks up the chair and nails Necro in the head. The ref calls for the bell. The Wild Wolf protests, but sees Necro getting back to his feet. He nails him in the head again, and Necro falls through the ropes.)

Winner: Necro Butcher

David: The Wild Wolf has been disqualified, since he was the first to use the chair, but look at Necro!

(Necro is still trying to get at the Wild Wolf, and is being restrained by Nana.)

Dick: This guy's an animal, and I think all those chair shots did was piss him off.

(Wolf gets a mic.)

Wolf: Necro... you want to try and take me out? Well, if you wanted a fight, why didn't you say so in the first place? I say we meet one more time next week, and this time let's make it No DQ!

(Necro breaks away from Nana and gets on the apron, but dives off as Wolf swings the chair again. Nana holds Necro back and tells Wolf that he's on for next week. Finally, he gets Necro to leave the arena.)

David: It looks like we have a No DQ challenge accepted for next week, as Necro and the Wild Wolf will settle it here on Go Time. We'll be right back with our main event!

(Commercial Break)

(In the arena, "Clavicle" hits and Matt Sydal makes his way to the ring.)

David: The Toughman Title is on the line, as Matt Sydal will try one last time to win the belt before leaving MECCA at the end of the month.

Dick: Matt Sydal has challenged the likes of Alan Mayse, Joey Sprinklers and Cynric for the belt in the past, but has never won it and despite being a former tag champ, this has haunted him throughout his tenure.

("Noots" hits and Eddie Crowe makes his way to the ring.)

David: Eddie Crowe has a big ladder match coming up against Alan Mayse for the title at New Dawn, but if he loses here tonight, it would be Sydal defending against Alan Mayse on his last night in MECCA.

Dick: If Sydal were to get through the month as Toughman Champion, I understand that Katie Piehl would vacate the belt and a tournament would be held to crown a new champion.

(FINISH: Sydal goes for the Slice, but Eddie takes him down and tries a slingshot. Sydal jumps to the second rope and takes Eddie over with a hurricanrana. He ducks a clothesline and knees him in the back, finally hitting the Slice. He goes up for the Shooting Sydal Press, but Eddie manages to kick him in the face on the way down. He gives Sydal the running brainbuster and then hits the Eddie Dive, covering for the three count.)

Winner: Eddie Crowe

David: Eddie Crowe retains the Toughman Title, and Sydal will just have to live with the fact that he could never win the belt.

Dick: We certainly thank Sydal for his contributions over the last two years here in MECCA...

(Sydal gets a mic as Eddie leaves.)

Sydal: This is crap! I deserved that title after all the work I put into this promotion, after all the time I've spent in the ring, and it's because of garbage like this that I've decided my talents are of better use elsewhere! For everyone who's cheering, I thank you, but all of you that are booing can go straight to hell!

(Sydal suddenly dives out of the ring as Delirious runs in, holding two chairs above his head. He throws one into the ring and then chases Sydal with the other.)

David: Delirious isn't going to sit by and listen to this after that unnecessary attack earlier. He wants a piece of Sydal!

Dick: Sydal is out of here, and there are only two shows left before he's out of here for good. He may have to face the wrath of Delirious before he leaves.

David: We'll have to see next week, fans, as we'll present the last Go Time before New Dawn. See you then!
