Go Time: 5/14/08

Cleveland, OH

Rundown Results:
Coquette b. Zoe Alexander
Nykk/Fox b. Delirious/Sydal
Allison Danger b. Sara Del Rey, Magenta
Eddie Crowe b. John Walters

("Planet Hell" opening.)

David: Welcome to Go Time, fans! MECCA is coming to you from Cleveland, Ohio, and tonight we crown a new number one contender to the MECCA Championship in a Triangle Match as Nykk takes on Bryan Danielson and Ronin Fox in the main event!

Dick: Plus we have a huge eight-man tag as Alan Mayse teams with the Consulate of Jamie Chan and the Surgeons to take on Eddie Crowe, Austin Lee and the Briscoes!

David: And Katie Piehl has said she has a decision about the team that will get the next shot at the MECCA Tag Team Titles, plus much more!

("Filthy/Gorgeous" hits and Coquette makes her way to the ring, along with Magenta.)

David: The ladies are going to start us off here on Go Time as the French Fashion Plate takes to the ring.

Dick: The time where we'll once again have a Ladies' Champion is drawing nearer, and all these women want to be in a position to challenge the new champion.

("Alcoholocaust" hits and Sara Del Rey makes her way to the ring.)

David: Sara Del Rey has come close to being Ladies' Champion on a couple of occasions, and she would love to be the first to challenge either Lisa Letty or Naomi Leach.

Dick: The American Angel was in the last Ladies' Title match we had, here on Go Time on March 5. If not for Shadow's shenanigans, she may very well have taken the belt.

(FINISH: Del Rey gets Coquette up in the Royal Butterfly, but Magenta gets on the apron to distract the ref. Sara drops Coquette and moves toward Magenta, but Allison Danger suddenly runs down and gets in the ring. Del Rey asks her what she wants, which allows Coquette to clip her knee. As Sara gets up, Allison nails her with the Shimmering Warlock and exits the ring. Coquette covers and gets the three count when the ref turns around.)

Winner: Coquette

David: I can't believe it! Coquette has just upset Sara Del Rey, thanks to Allison Danger!

Dick: I don't know what that was all about, but this will do wonders for Coquette's quest for the Ladies' Title.

David: We'll be right back with more action!

(Commercial Break)

(In the arena, "The Way I Am" hits and Tristan Lee makes his way to the ring.)

David: We're ready for more action here on Go Time, as Tristan Lee... wait a minute!

(Suddenly, the House of Lords runs out behind Tristan and attacks him. Nykk powerbombs him on the floor and then the Pyro Twins go to work on him with chairs as Fox gets a mic.)

Fox: Katie Piehl thinks she's really smart tonight, putting me and Nykk in the same match. But as you can see, Katie, you'll never break up the House of Lords. Every time you try, we will cause more destruction than you can possibly imagine!

Nykk: Tristan Lee, you go back there and tell your brother what happened, because we've got your asses signed to a tag match at New Dawn. And after that, one of us is going to take that World Title back from Anubis. There is no one, no team, no group that can stop the House of Lords. And since Tristan Lee won't be competing tonight, Jay and Dusty do have a match, and we want it to happen right now!

David: The House of Lords has once again viciously attacked someone. Last week, it was Bloodlust and this week it was Tristan Lee. Somebody has to do something about these guys.

("Pump It Up" hits and Gary and Omar make their way to the ring, along with Robbie, Ryan, Cubby and Stephie.)

Dick: Well, somehow I doubt it's going to be Epsilon Epsilon Epsilon. These guys have been making some noise about sending a team after the tag titles as well.

(FINISH: The Pyro Twins hit Final Darkness on Omar, but Gary distracts the ref while Ryan and Cubby come in and attack the Pyro Twins. That brings in Nykk and Fox, and the ref turns around to see everyone brawling and calls for the bell.)

Winners: No Contest

David: The referee has thrown this one out, as he has just lost control with these two groups out here.

Dick: Both these teams have been yelling about the tag titles since this one started, so who knows what's going on.

("Drugs" hits and Prince Nana makes his way down the aisle with a mic. The brawling in the ring stops as the House of Lords regroup in the ring and EEE heads to the floor.)

Nana: Wait a minute, wait a minute. Do you peons actually think that you can come out here and determine who gets a shot at the tag team belts without Prince Nana having his words? I don't think so, my friends. There is not one team in that ring that is more deserving at this point of getting that shot than my guys, the Surgeons. John Walters and Matt Stryker are going to bring the MECCA Tag Team Titles to Ghana, West Africa, where they belong and...

("I've Got the Power" hits and Katie Piehl makes her way onto the stage, also with a mic.)

David: Now the MECCA Executor Katie Piehl is out here. Maybe she'll shed some light on this.

Katie: Hold on a minute, Nana. It's true, the Surgeons have been doing well in the tag team scene lately, but we've also got two top groups in the ring right now. Dusty, Jay, you two have been performing admirably despite your loss to the Briscoes, and EEE has proven effective as a team, so here's what I'm going to do... at New Dawn, it will be a Four Way Dance. The Briscoes are going to defend the tag titles against the Surgeons, as well as the Pyro Twins and once EEE decides what team they want to send, they're welcome in the match as well. So there you have it, fans. Your new contenders for the MECCA Tag Team Titles!

David: What an exciting Four Way Dance that should be at New Dawn as the Briscoes defend against the Pyro Twins, the Surgeons and EEE. We'll be right back with our eight-man tag!

(Commercial Break)

(In the arena, "Drugs" is playing and Prince Nana is in the ring with Jamie Chan, the Surgeons and Alan Mayse.)

David: We're back on Go Time, and the Consulate is ready for tag team action. Alan Mayse is not a part of the Consulate, but he was a part of the tag title match last week, as well as the fracas that followed, thus he is joining forces with Prince Nana for one more night.

("Noots" hits and Eddie Crowe, Austin Lee and the Briscoes make their way to the ring.)

David: All of these men have been having their problems with others on the opposing side, and all of them are out for some payback from the numbers game that Prince Nana likes to play.

Dick: You have to wonder how much Austin Lee's head is in this match. He has to be concerned about the well being of his brother, who was attacked earlier by the House of Lords.

(FINISH: Alan locks in the Anklebreaker on Mark, but Eddie makes the save, finally getting his hands on Alan. They brawl to the outside and to the back as Austin and Stryker brawl on the floor. Jay hits Walters with a big boot and lifts him for the Springboard Doomsday Device. Mark leaps to the top rope, but Chan runs over to the ropes and crotches him. Walters flips off of Jay's back and gives him a lung blower as Chan locks in the Chan Lock on Mark. After a few moments, he taps out.)

Winners: The Consulate and Alan Mayse

David: Jamie Chan gets the victory, and of course he has a match coming up with Bryan Danielson at New Dawn. He claims that he's the new best in the world, and it's hard to argue when he gets big victories like this.

Dick: Prince Nana has to be ecstatic that his guys are doing so well, and you know that if Chan manages to beat Danielson, he'll be beating on the door of Anubis asking for that World Title shot.

David: We'll be back with more MECCA action, but first Bill Bicknell is standing by with Lisa Letty.

(Backstage, Bill Bicknell is with Lisa Letty.)

Bill: Lisa Letty, coming up at New Dawn you will go for the vacant Ladies' Championship, but standing in your way is someone who has been on fire since coming to MECCA, Naomi Leach.

Lisa: Oh, she's been on fire? She's just lucky the Pyro Twins haven't gotten a hold of her, or that would be literal. Anyway, Naomi Leach, five years ago almost to the day, I was set to make my debut at the first FPPVW show, but I couldn't because of an injury to my arm while training. And who delivered that injury in training? It was you, Naomi. That arm injury plagued me for months, and I never really got the hot start in FPPVW that I deserved. But then I came to MECCA, and realized my potential in a big way. You see, while you were absent all these years, I surpassed you. I am the best women's wrestler in the world, and at New Dawn, I'm coming to take the title that proves it. And when I do, it will be glorious days for the House of Lords once again, and Naomi, I'll send you back to whatever trash heap you worked for before you came here.

(Commercial Break)

(Backstage, Alan Mayse is walking toward Eddie Crowe, who is sitting in a chair with the Toughman Title across his lap. Alan snatches the belt away, and Eddie stands up.)

Eddie: I would not do that if I were you, Alan. Give it here.

Alan: Hold on a minute, Eddie. At the MECCA Challenge, I had you beat. You were ready to tap, and don't pretend you weren't. By some fluke, you managed to get on top of me for the pin, but we both know that I deserve this belt. So I'm taking one more chance at this title, at New Dawn, and I'm challenging you to put it on the line in a Ladder Match.

Eddie: Why do you want a Ladder Match? Because that's how you won it the first time?

Alan: That's true, but think about it. There are no submissions in a ladder match, so this works out fine for you too. What do you say?

Eddie: You know from my World Title reign, the title reign that beat your Toughman Title reign, that I'm always a fighting champion. I'll accept any challenge, so you've got your Ladder Match.

Alan: All right, then.

(He lays the belt on the ground.)

Alan: I'll see you May 31.

(Eddie waits until he walks away to pick up the belt.)

(In the arena, "Pump It Up" hits and Epsilon Epsilon Epsilon make their way to the ring, dragging out the sorority sisters on the party pallets.)

David: EEE has made their way into the arena, and we weren't scheduled to see them again tonight, but since when has that stopped them?

Dick: They'll be selecting a pair to send into that Four Way Dance for the tag titles at New Dawn, and we also just learned that it's official, Eddie Crowe will put the Toughman Title on the line against Alan Mayse in a Ladder Match on pay-per-view.

(Robbie gets a mic, and Stephie holds his crutches while he climbs into the ring.)

Robbie: It's definitely party time at the EEE house! At the MECCA Challenge, we said we would go after tag team gold, and look what happened. Now we have an opportunity to take the belts from those rednecks, those farmboys, those TOWNIES, the Briscoes! And my ankle may have been re-injured at the MECCA Challenge, delaying my full time return to the ring, but if it wasn't, I would have no doubt Ryan and I would win those titles. But since I'm hurt, Ryan, I say you should be able to pick your own partner for the match.

(The EEE members all campaign to be his partner, including Stephie, but Ryan waves them off.)

Ryan: Guys, guys! Hold on a minute. Now you all have qualities that would make a good team with myself, but I think since we're dealing with the Briscoes, the Pyro Twins and the Surgeons, we're going to need someone who can outmaneuver them, someone with the stamina to go the distance, so I'm going to pick Gary to be my partner!

(He and Gary shake on it, and Robbie takes the mic.)

Robbie: All right, your next tag team champs, Ryan and Gary! Now for the rest of tonight, we're going to...

(Austin and Tristan Lee run out and attack EEE in the ring. Robbie flees as Austin backdrops Ryan over the top rope and Tristan sends Cubby and Omar through the ropes with a double dropkick. Gary attacks him from behind, and whips him into the ropes, but Tristan leaps into Austin, who lifts him wheelbarrow style, which allows him to take over Gary with a hurricanrana. Tristan picks up the mic.)

Tristan: I am not in a good mood right now, and the House of Lords are going to get theirs at New Dawn! But I came here to wrestle tonight, and it seems to me that you wankers decided to have your way with us last week. I want to see how you do in a fair fight. Send one of your guys in here, and I'll send you to the hospital courtesy of daddy's insurance policy!

(Ryan shoves his teammates out of his way and gets in the ring as a ref enters and calls for the bell.)

David: We have an impromptu match as it will be Tristan Lee against Ryan from Epsilon Epsilon Epsilon! The Lees want some payback for last week.

(FINISH: Ryan goes for a flipping neckbreaker off the top rope, but Tristan moves out of the way. He gives Ryan a jawbreaker and lifts him for the cross legged brainbuster. Ryan rakes the eyes to escape and rolls Tristan up, hooking the tights. Tristan kicks out anyway, sending Ryan into the ropes, where he's met with a knee to the midsection on the rebound. Tristan hits the cross legged brainbuster and covers for the three count.)

Winner: Tristan Lee

David: Tristan Lee is victorious despite the beating he took earlier from the House of Lords, and he can't wait to get his hands on Nykk and Fox at New Dawn.

Dick: The Lees were looking sharp with the teamwork on EEE before the match, so they had better not underestimate their opponents.

David: Speaking of the House of Lords, up next is our main event. Nykk takes on Bryan Danielson and Ronin Fox in a Triangle Match with a World Title shot at stake!

(Backstage, Matt Sydal is standing in front of the locker room.)

Sydal: Matt Sydal here, once again. I was sort of rudely interrupted last week by my simple-minded former partner, but this week all I need is to make one thing crystal clear. I may be gone after May 31, but before I leave MECCA for greener pastures... and I think you know what I mean by greener... I want to do something I haven't been able to do. For two years, the Toughman Title has eluded me, and I'm taking one last shot before I go. So Alan Mayse, your luck may have run out, because next week here on Go Time, I'll be taking on Eddie Crowe. And when I beat him, I'm going to take that belt with me and send it back with a postcard that says "Glad you're not here." Have a nice day, people.

(Sydal exits.)

(Commercial Break)

(Backstage, Bill Bicknell is with the Briscoes.)

Bill: I'm here with the MECCA Tag Team Champions, Jay and Mark Briscoe, and earlier on we heard the announcement that a Four Way Dance will take place at New Dawn as you two defend those belts against the Pyro Twins, the Surgeons and EEE. What is your reaction to that announcement?

Jay: Hey, we've been tag champs for a while now, and no one has even come close to beating us yet. Them boys the Pyro Twins we just can't seem to shake, but we'll be getting rid of them for good at New Dawn.

Mark: And who are these other guys, the Surgeons? They gonna need some of their friends at the hospital when we're done with them. But what about these college boys, EEE?

Jay: It doesn't matter whether it's Ryan and Robbie, Ryan and Gary, Harold and Kumar or anyone else. The Briscoes are coming to New Dawn to prove a point when we demolish three other teams and show the world that no one can touch us. So you three teams better man up! It won't do you any good, but bring it anyway.

Mark: Man up!

(In the arena, "Did My Time" hits and Ronin Fox makes his way to the ring.)

David: It's main event time, and this Triangle Match will crown a number one contender to the MECCA Championship for after New Dawn.

Dick: All of these men are on the Contender Star, as well as former World Champions. The last three we've had in MECCA as a matter of fact.

("The Final Countdown" hits and Bryan Danielson makes his way to the ring.)

David: Bryan Danielson had his title reign ended by the House of Lords, and tonight he looks to get another shot at the new champion, Anubis, or Kevin Stone if he should win it at New Dawn.

Dick: Danielson is at a disadvantage with two House of Lords members in there, but he has proven very effective in handling them in the past.

("Destroy" hits and Nykk makes his way to the ring.)

David: In the past few months, Nykk has been stripped of his power in MECCA, and the House of Lords have lost all the titles they accumulated. They're fighting to keep their heads above water now.

Dick: A big step in making a comeback would be for Nykk to regain the World Title that he lost at the MECCA Challenge IV.

(FINISH: Nykk and Fox work together for most of the match, but Danielson makes a comeback and hits Nykk with a diving European uppercut. He counters a Tail End from Fox into the Regalplex, with Fox's feet flying back to kick Nykk in the nuts. Fox kicks out at two, but Danielson gets sent down with a leg lariat from Nykk. He covers, but Fox breaks up the pin. Nykk shoves him, asking him why he's kicking him in the balls and breaking up his covers, and Fox shoves him back. They come to blows, and then take a double missile dropkick from Danielson. He gives a snap butterfly suplex to Fox, who winds up in a sitting position. He nails Nykk with a European uppercut, and he falls to his ass, directly in front of Fox. Danielson starts nailing them both with lethal elbows at the same time, but they get to their feet, lifting Danielson into the air. He rolls off to his feet and kicks back at Nykk, who accidentally sends Fox down with a butt bump. Danielson rolls Nykk up with a small package, but Fox breaks up the cover. He tries to suplex Danielson, but he escapes and nails Fox with a roaring forearm. He headbutts Danielson in retaliation, staggering him, and rolls him up. Danielson kicks out at two, sending Fox into an inside cradle from Nykk, who gets a quick three count.)

Winner: Nykk

David: Nykk has just won it out of nowhere with that inside cradle, mocking Bryan Danielson and his small package.

Dick: He caught Danielson off guard, and he couldn't make the save in time, but now Nykk will get his rematch, and he will be facing either Anubis or Kevin Stone after New Dawn.

David: That's all for this week, fans. Be sure to tune in next week as Matt Sydal goes for the Toughman Title one last time against Eddie Crowe!
