David: MECCA has once again returned to our Homefront, the Hara Arena in Dayton, Ohio, for Go Time! I'm David Mills, along with Dick Broccoli, and we all saw a shocking turn of events last week when Kevin Stone laid claim to his title shot after turning on the World Champion, Anubis. Tonight Stone will go against the Killer Kanines of the Wild Wolf and Anubis, but we don't know who Stone's partner will be yet.
Dick: And in more tag team action, Shadow and Lisa Letty of the House of Lords will team against Naomi Leach and Nikki Chandler.
David: We also understand that Matt Sydal has a big announcement, and much more on this week's episode.
("Pump It Up" hits and Gary and Cubby make their way to the ring, along with Robbie, Ryan, Omar and Stephie.)
David: EEE is set for action, and this week it will be Gary and Cubby representing the wrestling fraternity.
Dick: Robbie is still nursing that ankle, which he re-injured in the Battlebrawl at the MECCA Challenge, and he will be out for a few more weeks.
("The Way I Am" hits and the Lee Brothers make their way to the ring.)
David: The Lees make their return to Go Time this week, and are looking to get back on track after their loss to the Surgeons at the MECCA Challenge.
Dick: Austin and Tristan have yet to prove consistent as a team, but now is their chance to show the powers that be in MECCA that they can be in the upper echelon of tag teams.
(FINISH: Gary springboards off the second rope, but gets met with a flying kick from Austin. Tristan gives Cubby a back suplex, and then they hit the Spike Degenerate Driver on Gary. Austin covers, but Ryan and Omar rush into the ring to break up the pin, causing the ref to call for the bell.)
Winners: The Lee Brothers
David: Epsilon Epsilon Epsilon has attacked, causing a disqualification, and once again the Lees find themselves at a numbers disadvantage!
(Omar hits a flipping neckbreaker on Tristan, and then Robbie breaks his crutch across Austin's back. Cubby, Ryan and Gary hit them with the World's Most Giant Wrestler, but suddenly two wrestlers in black overcoats with crosses on them hit the ring. They beel Gary across the ring as Robbie gets out of dodge. The Lees help them fight back, and take Ryan and Cubby out of the ring and brawl toward the back. Omar gets a double armdrag from the new wrestlers, who then bounce off the ropes and sandwich him with dropkicks as he gets to his knees.)
David: I don't know who these guys are, but they just saved the Lees from obliteration out here.
Dick: It's a good thing they came out, because things were starting to get ugly, but who are these guys?
David: We'll be back with more MECCA action!
(Commercial Break)
(In the arena, "Kobrakai" hits and Anubis make s his way to the ring.)
David: Here comes the MECCA World Champion, Anubis, who we understand will put his title on the line against Kevin Stone at New Dawn on May 31.
Dick: He's got to be looking for some kind of explanation as to why Stone did what he did last week, after Anubis came out to help him against the Consulate.
(Anubis gets a mic.)
Anubis: For months, I busted my ass in preparation for the MECCA Challenge IV. It was my day to shine, my day to achieve a career goal and capture the MECCA World Title. And I realized that once I did so, the real work was about to begin. I was well aware that Kevin Stone had won a title shot a month ago, and I would have willingly met him in the ring and shown him the respect he deserved if he had met me like a man. But he didn't do that. Instead, he attacked me with a chair, something that was completely unnecessary. So Kevin Stone, I want you out here right now, and you will explain yourself, or I will come back there and drag you out here myself!
("At the End of the Rainbow" hits and Kevin Stone makes his way to the ring.)
David: Kevin Stone is a former MECCA Champion himself, and now he finally has what he wants, and that's a chance to regain that title.
Dick: The thing is, he didn't need to do what he did last week. He already had his title shot. What must have been going through his mind?
(Stone gets a mic.)
Stone: You want some kind of explanation? You need to look no further than the belt over your shoulder. Yes, we have been allied in the past, we fought off the David Caldwell Project and the House of Lords together, but what it's always been about for me is the titles and the glory. And Nice Guy Kevin Stone never won a damn thing here in MECCA. However, the MECCA Monster Kevin Stone had a dominant reign as the MECCA Champion. That's what I'm getting back to, the ruthless son of a bitch who showed no remorse or mercy to anyone. And it just so happens that the man who has what I want, is you. So you go ahead and bring that belt to New Dawn in Trenton, because I'm taking it back, no matter if I have to forsake your respect or the respect of these fans.
Anubis: Like I said before, you didn't have to do this in order to get me in the ring. For years, you were the dominant MECCA Monster, but now there's a new monster, a bigger, better, younger monster, and that's me. I would have shown you the proper respect if all you did was look me in the eyes and challenge me. But now... I'm going to destroy you. And as for tonight, both myself and my partner are coming for you. I would think long and hard about your choice of partner if I were you.
(Anubis leaves the ring as "Kobrakai" plays.)
David: What a main event it will be at New Dawn as two monsters clash for the MECCA World Title. Of course, New Dawn will emanate from Trenton, New Jersey, live on pay-per-view on May 31. Joining that main event, we already know that Lisa Letty will take on Naomi Leach for the vacant Ladies' Title, and those two will also be on opposite sides of a tag team match later on.
("Lava" hits and Matt Stryker makes his way to the ring, along with Prince Nana.)
David: One half of the Surgeons is on his way to the ring, and of course Prince Nana has been looking to position his guys for title shots, as we saw last week.
Dick: He feels that Jamie Chan and the Surgeons are in prime position for title shots in their respective divisions, but there are a lot of other challengers coming up to, as we saw with Kevin Stone.
("The Final Countdown" hits and Bryan Danielson makes his way to the ring.)
David: Bryan Danielson was upset that after such a brutalizing match in the Battlebrawl, that it came down to himself and Chan. Chan was able to score a flash pin out of nowhere, after Danielson took his eye off the ball for one moment, and last week Danielson challenged Chan for New Dawn.
Dick: Chan has yet to accept that challenge, but tonight Danielson will be taking on one of his stable mates.
(FINISH: Stryker goes for the Stryker Driver, but Danielson starts nailing him with lethal elbows. Stryker sets Danielson down and manages to drive him into the turnbuckles. He whips him to the opposite side, but Danielson backflips off the turnbuckles over him and then takes him down with a Fujiwara armbar. He segues into Cattle Mutilation, and Stryker taps out.)
Winner: Bryan Danielson
David: Danielson takes it, and it was an impressive victory.
Dick: Danielson still wants to prove that he's a better wrestler than Chan, and you would think that whoever wins that match would be in line for a shot at the World Title.
(Jamie Chan appears on the stage with a mic.)
Chan: Hey, Danielson! That was an impressive win, I'll give you that, but I know you've been hounding me. It must really stick in your craw that I was better than you, not just for one night, but just in general. There's a new best wrestler in the world, pal, and I'll prove it at New Dawn, because I accept your challenge! And I won't need some flash pin to do it this time, because I plan on knocking you out just like you've knocked out so many others in the past. I'm going to... hey now...
(Danielson starts to go after Chan, but John Walters comes in from the crowd and attacks him from behind. Stryker joins in, and they hit the Human Error on Danielson. Walters stomps away as Prince Nana laughs on the outside. Finally, officials come out to break it up and the Consulate meets in the aisle, raising their arms and doing their diamond pose.)
David: The Consulate has just ambushed Bryan Danielson, who will meet Jamie Chan at New Dawn. We'll be right back!
(Commercial Break)
(In the office, Katie Piehl is talking with the Pyro Twins.)
Katie: I know you guys want another title shot, but...
Jay: But nothing, Katie! You know as well as we do that we're the best tag team in the world. As far as we're concerned, the Briscoes proved nothing by beating us.
Dusty: We want our titles back. Last week, we beat the team that took them from us in the first place, and now we want another chance to reclaim what's rightfully ours.
Katie: In case you haven't noticed, we've had other teams here in MECCA positioning themselves and hoping to get a shot at the tag titles. But I'll tell you what... next week, I'll give you a chance to prove yourselves and then I'll see about getting you another title match.
Jay: You do that. Because until the day we retire, there is no one in this company who deserves those belts more than us.
(The Pyro Twins exit.)
(In the arena, "Kobrakai" hits and the Killer Kanines make their way to the ring.)
David: It's time for tag team action as Anubis and the Wild Wolf reform the Killer Kanines after Stone's heinous attack on Anubis last week.
Dick: Stone wants that killer instinct back, what won him the MECCA Championship the first time around, but what he got was the Killer Kanines.
("At the End of the Rainbow" hits and Kevin Stone makes his way down the aisle.)
David: Stone is out here, but we still don't know who his partner will be.
(Stone motions to the back, and "Drugs" hits and the Necro Butcher makes his way to the ring, along with Prince Nana.)
David: I don't believe it. Stone has recruited the very man who beat him last week, the man he has been feuding with in MECCA for months now.
Dick: This animal doesn't care who he hurts. What makes Stone think he can control him now?
(FINISH: Wolf and Anubis hit their brainbuster/big boot combo on Necro, but the ref tells Wolf that Necro isn't legal when he tries to cover. Stone brings a chair into the ring, but the ref takes it away from him. Anubis clotheslines Stone over the top rope, taking them both out of the ring. Nana gets on the apron, and Necro blocks a small package driver from Wolf and hits him in the midsection with the chair. He lays it down and chokeslams Wolf onto it before bringing the chair out of the ring. Stone reverses a whip on Anubis into the barricade and then gets in the ring. He lifts Wolf off his feet with a sleeper, and Wolf taps out.)
Winners: Kevin Stone and Necro Butcher
David: Stone and Necro win the match after the use of a chair. That's definitely sending a message to Anubis through his tag team partner.
Dick: Anubis and Stone will meet at New Dawn for the title, and of course we know that Prince Nana has targeted Anubis as well as the tag champs.

(In the office, Prince Nana is with Katie Piehl.)
Nana: You see the kind of destruction I can unleash, Ms. Piehl? The Necro Butcher has single handedly taken out one of MECCA's top teams of all time! And the Consulate is all about the gold now. So if you were watching Rundown, you saw my man, Jamie Chan, take down Jay Briscoe. So what I am requesting now is a tag title match for Jamie Chan with a partner of his choice!
Katie: You're right, Nana, Chan did beat Jay Briscoe on Rundown, and we do need a main event for tonight. So he will get his title shot, but it won't be with a member of the Consulate. Mark Briscoe was also beaten on Rundown, so tonight Jamie Chan will team with the other man to beat one of the Briscoes, Alan Mayse. And you've got your shot at the tag titles.
Nana: You will not regret this, Ms. Piehl. I am sure that after we win the tag team belts tonight, Alan Mayse will be more than willing to join forces with the Consulate and we will be partying all night long.
(He struts out of the office.)
Nana: It is going to be a good night for Ghana!
(In the arena, "Dead is the New Alive" hits and Bloodlust make their way to the ring, along with Medea Knight.)
David: The action continues here on Go Time as Bloodlust are on their way for tag team action.
Dick: Torea and Kavian are looking to establish themselves, and tonight they've got...
(Nykk and Ronin Fox suddenly run out and attack them from behind in the aisle. Fox whips Kavian at Nykk, who hits him with the Roaring Hammer. Fox then picks up Torea and 7-10 splits him on the ring post. Nykk rams Kavian headfirst into the guardrail and then detaches it, bringing it down across his body. Fox comes up with a chair and starts wailing away on him as Nykk gives Torea Howling Moon II, draping him across the barricade. Medea confronts them and pleads them to stop, but Shadow and Lisa Letty run out and attack her from behind. Shadow grabs the chair from Fox and rams Medea in the midsection. Lisa then boots her to the floor, as the House of Lords get in the ring with Nykk on the mic.)
Nykk: What you have seen here is just a taste of the destruction the House of Lords can still cause! Katie Piehl, you may have temporarily bought off the Pyro Twins with your vague promise of another title shot, but I am not so easily fooled. I want my rematch for the World Title or what you've seen out here will continue until I get it.
(Katie Piehl comes out onto the stage with a mic.)
Katie: Nykk, you do not dictate the direction of this company anymore. I've made no secret about the fact that I will not rest until the House of Lords is dead and buried, but yes you are entitled to a rematch. However, Kevin Stone earned the first shot at the new champion at New Dawn. But... next week, I'll give you a chance to prove yourself worthy of another title match. Fox, you wanted a title shot as well, right?
Nykk: Wait a second...
Katie: There's another man on the Contender Star who never really got a fair shake in a rematch after you won the title as well, Nykk, and I'm talking about Bryan Danielson. So next week in the main event, we're going to have a Triangle Match... yourself vs. Danielson vs. Fox, and the winner will take on the winner of the title match at New Dawn.
Fox: Katie, I accept that match, and after New Dawn, whether it's Stone or Anubis, you're looking at your new MECCA...
(Nykk pulls the mic away from Fox, and they start to have words.)
Katie: It's nice to see we're in agreement. And Shadow, Lisa, don't think you're getting away with your part in this little attack out here. When we're back from break, I'll have some opponents for you two as well.
David: A Triangle Match for next week as it will be Nykk vs. Bryan Danielson vs. Ronin Fox, with a title shot on the line. But apparently up next we're going to have some ladies' tag team action, so stay with us!
(Commercial Break)
(In the arena, "Fall Behind Me" hits and Naomi Leach and Nikki Chandler make their way to the ring.)
David: We're back, and it looks like Lisa and Shadow's opponents will be Nikki Chandler, and the other half of the Ladies' Title match at New Dawn, Naomi Leach.
Dick: Nikki is just recently back after being taken out by the House of Lords last summer, and she would love to get her hands on Shadow and Lisa.
(FINISH: Shadow hits Chandler with the Interceptor, but gets taken down by Naomi with an enzugiri. She kicks Lisa and goes for a DDT, but Lisa backs her up and she trips over Shadow's body. Lisa rolls over into a jackknife pin for the three count.)
Winners: Lisa Letty and Shadow
David: Lisa and Shadow are victorious in tag team action, and Lisa just pinned the woman she will be facing for the Ladies' Title at New Dawn. Unfortunately, Shadow won't be around for her in that match.
Dick: What a clash it will be between these two old rivals when MECCA returns to New Jersey.
(Backstage, Bill Bicknell is standing by with Matt Sydal.)
Bill: Matt Sydal, I was told that tonight you have a big announcement concerning your future. We're all waiting to hear from you, so what do you have to say?
Sydal: There comes a time in every man's life when it's just time to move on, Bill. And move on I have, because as you may not know, my MECCA contract is coming to an end. I was approached by a major wrestling promotion, and I have chosen to sign with them. So starting June 1, you will not see Matt Sydal in MECCA any longer. It's been a great run, but... honestly... my talent was never really appreciated in MECCA anyway. The fact is, I'm too good for this organization. Just like management has never really appreciated me, you fans have never really appreciated me either. Even when I was a Tag Team Champion, you were never in my corner. But you all absolutely loved my partner, so I think it's for the best that...
(Delirious pops in.)
Delirious: Sydal, Sydal, Sydal, aerhd ouy ewer we! Suj detwan yas CONGRATULATIONS!
Sydal: Wait! Stop right there. You know, ever since we've teamed up, you've done nothing but annoy me. And to let you in on a little secret, Delirious, if I hadn't signed on elsewhere, I was about to dump you anyway. And since my contract here doesn't end until June 1, I say that at New Dawn I step into a MECCA ring one last time... and I want that match to be against you, to prove that I'm the better man, too good for our team and too good for this company!
(Sydal exits.)
Delirious: Sehginumpdme?
(Bill shrugs.)
(Commercial Break)
(Backstage, Bill Bicknell is with Naomi Leach.)
Bill: We're back here on Go Time, and right now my guest is Naomi Leach. Naomi, at New Dawn you will face Lisa Letty for the vacant Ladies' Championship, but before the break you were actually pinned by Lisa in the middle of the ring.
Naomi: I suppose there is a first time for everything. Lisa, rest assured that will not happen again. I've known you for years, and when you were struggling with basic wrestling skills, I was winning championships. I see you've grown over the past few years. But one thing remains the same... I am still the better athlete. I came back to MECCA with one goal, and that's winning the Ladies' Title. I had to put up with all the House of Lords' BS, and then win a tag match with one of my least favorite people as my partner to get this chance, and I will not let the fans down. At New Dawn, I finally achieve my destiny and become the Ladies' Champion of MECCA.
(In the arena, "Drugs" hits and Jamie Chan and Alan Mayse make their way to the ring, along with Prince Nana.)
David: It's time for our main event on Go Time, but what about the news before the break that Matt Sydal will be leaving MECCA at the end of the month?
Dick: Unsurprisingly, Delirious seemed oblivious to what Sydal was saying, when he essentially turned his back on the fans and Delirious, challenging him to a match at New Dawn.
David: But right now the Tag Team Titles are on the line as it was on Rundown that both Jamie Chan and Alan Mayse scored singles victories over the Briscoes, and Katie Piehl decided to team them up tonight to receive a tag title shot as a result of that.
("Gimme Back My Bullets" hits and the Briscoes make their way to the ring.)
David: The Briscoes have been dominant as tag team champs so far, and I'm sure they welcome this challenge.
Dick: Lots of MECCA's regular teams are looking for that shot at the tag titles, and you know they'll have their eyes glued to the screen for this one.
(FINISH: Jay goes for a big boot, but Chan shoves his foot aside and gives him a high angle back suplex. Mark leaps at him, but Chan catches him and holds him up for Alan to hit a springboard dropkick. Chan rolls over with a jackknife pin that gets a two count. They whip Mark into the ropes, but he counters a double back body drop with a double DDT. He makes the tag to Jay, who hits the big boot on Alan, sending him out of the ring. Chan attacks him from behind and goes for an Unprettier, but Jay wriggles free and kicks him. He and Mark hit the Spike Jay Driller, and Jay covers for the three count.)
Winners: The Briscoes
David: The Briscoes retain the tag titles, and you have to wonder who will be the next to step up and challenge them.
Dick: We may not have to wait long to find out!
(Nana motions to the back, and the Surgeons run out. They attack the Briscoes as Alan gets back in the ring and joins in. The Surgeons hit a flapjack/facebuster combo on Mark, and Alan gives Jay an exploder. As Chan gets back to his feet, Bryan Danielson and Eddie Crowe run out. Eddie immediately starts brawling with Alan, and they take it to the outside. Danielson hits Chan with a European uppercut, but the Surgeons attack. They whip him into the ropes, but Danielson dives onto their double clothesline attempt, sending them careening into each other. Mark gives Walters the Cutthroat Driver and Jay hits an ace crusher on Stryker. The Consulate regroups on the outside.)
David: The odds have been evened against the Consulate, but it looks like the Surgeons are making their bid for the tag titles! We'll have to find out if they're getting a shot next week. We'll see you then, fans!
