David: Welcome to Memphis, Tennessee, fans, as MECCA presents Go Time, and we are just three days away from the biggest show of the year, the MECCA Challenge IV! Of course, we'll see the MECCA Challenge of Ronin Fox vs. Cynric and the title match of Nykk vs. Anubis, but tonight those two feuds collide in tag team action in the main event. Anubis and Cynric team up to take on Nykk and Ronin Fox!
Dick: And in another big singles match, Alan Mayse will take on Bryan Danielson one on one.
David: And we'll hear from the challengers for the tag team belts at the MECCA Challenge, the Pyro Twins, and much more to come.
("Pajamarama" hits and Huh makes his way to the ring.)
David: We're kicking things off with a Four Corners match, as Huh is looking to capitalize off his win over Joey Sprinklers at Melee.
Dick: And all four of the men in this match will be in the Battlebrawl this Saturday.
("At the Helm" hits and Ryan makes his way to the ring, along with Robbie, Omar, Cubby, Gary and Stephie.)
David: Ryan will be competing for the wrestling fraternity of Epsilon Epsilon Epsilon, and all of the members, minus Stephie of course, will be in the Battlebrawl as well.
Dick: Robbie still has that injured ankle, but he seems enthusiastic enough to compete. Who knows how bad that ankle really is.
("Clavicle" hits and Matt Sydal makes his way to the ring.)
David: Matt Sydal is definitely ready for the Battlebrawl, the very first time he'll get to compete on the main show of the MECCA Challenge.
Dick: He'll have his partner Delirious in there with him, but it is every man for himself.
("Drugs" hits and the Necro Butcher makes his way to the ring in chains, along with Prince Nana.)
David: Necro is forced to wear those chains when not competing for the safety of all our fans and Prince Nana's bank account.
Dick: What an eclectic group of individuals this is.
(FINISH: Ryan attempts to go toe to toe with Necro, but gets punched out as a result. He backs up into the corner as Necro goes to the outside to fight the other members of EEE. Sydal hits Ryan with a flying knee strike and then Huh follows up with an avalanche and a bulldog. Sydal gives Huh an enzugiri, and then goes to the top rope. He gives Ryan the Shooting Sydal Press and covers for the three count.)
Winner: Matt Sydal
David: Big win for Matt Sydal, and he looks ready for this Saturday.
Dick: Now Prince Nana just needs to get Necro under control again, because I think he may have just knocked out several members of EEE.
David: We'll have more action when we come back, but first Katie Piehl is going to draw the last team for the ladies' Four Corners tag this Saturday.
(In the office, Katie Piehl is with Mercedes Martinez, Shadow, Magenta and Coquette.)
Katie: Okay, ladies, this is it. Are you all ready?
Shadow: Just get on with it, Katie!
(Katie draws a name.)
Katie: The first member of the team is... Coquette.
(Coquette and Magenta squeeze each other's hands hopefully as Shadow looks very agitated. Katie draws another name.)
Katie: I don't believe it...
Magenta: What is it?
Katie: The other member of the team is Shadow.
(Shadow cries out in jubilation as Magenta and Mercedes look upset.)
Shadow: Yes! Yes, I knew it!
Katie: I wouldn't be too happy, Shadow. Just remember, as per my agreement with Nykk, if you take the fall on Saturday, you're out of MECCA for good. Ladies.
(She motions toward the door, and Coquette, Magenta and Mercedes leave. Shadow lingers.)
Shadow: One more thing, Katie... in case things go wrong and I don't ever get my chance to say this... you're a no-good bitch, and if I never see you again, it will be too soon.
Katie: I feel the exact same way.
(Commercial Break)
(In the arena, Prince Nana and the Surgeons have finally gotten Necro back into his chains, and he asks Jamie Chan to lead him to the back. Nana gets a mic.)
Nana: Last week, I was trying to act like a sportsman and help a Mr. Tristan Lee to his feet, when out of nowhere, some wench from the gutters comes up and punches me below the belt! Lees, I know you're back there, bring her out here right now so I can show you what happens to women who step out of line where I am from!
("The Way I Am" hits and Austin and Tristan Lee come out, along with Nikki Chandler.)
David: Last week we saw the surprise return of Nikki Chandler, who came to her friend Tristan's aid when she nailed Nana in the crown jewels, so to speak.
Dick: Nana has been seething about it all week.
Nana: Now, as you all know, I am a prince of Ghana, West Africa, and have duties as such to continue my line. I cannot due that when some jezebel comes out here and starts hitting me in my lower regions! I know you have my guys Stryker and Walters at the MECCA Challenge, but what I want right here is another tag team match. I need to warm up for the Battlebrawl anyway, and this little girl poses no threat to me. I want the three of you against the three of us right now!
Austin: Hey Nana, I know Tristan has no problem taking you on, and I definitely don't, but to put Nikki at risk so soon when she would be at a complete physical disadvantage, I just can't...
(Nikki whispers in Austin's ear.)
Austin: Are you sure?
(Nikki grabs the mic.)
Nikki: I can take you any day of the week, Nana! Let's do this!
David: Well, I guess we're having sort of an intergender tag match here. It's not something that's normally done here in MECCA, but a challenge was made and accepted.
(FINISH: Tristan ducks under a clothesline from Walters, and dives onto Stryker on the outside with a tope as Walters hits one on Austin. Nana attacks Nikki from behind and then bounces off the ropes, dropping an elbow on her. He covers, but she kicks out. Nana says that she asked for it, and bounces off the ropes again, but Tristan trips him from the outside and he stumbles into an inside cradle from Chandler, who gets the three count.)
Winners: The Lee Brothers and Nikki Chandler
David: Nikki with a surprise pin on Nana, and so much for warming up for the Battlebrawl. He just got pinned by a girl!
Dick: The Lees get one over on the Consulate going into the MECCA Challenge, and on Saturday they will see tag team action against Stryker and Walters.
(Backstage, Bill Bicknell is standing by with Cynric.)
Bill: Cynric, you're just three days away from your last match as you step into the ring with your own brother in the MECCA Challenge. However, tonight you will be across the ring from him in tag team action as you team with Anubis against Ronin Fox and the MECCA World Champion, Nykk.
Cynric: It's an emotional week, knowing I won't step into the ring again after the MECCA Challenge. And tonight, I'll be taking a long look around the arena, because on Saturday I'm completely focused on Fox. Fox, I cannot fathom the level of hatred you've initiated and inspired since this whole thing started. But I do know it has to come to an end, and though I may be history after Los Angeles, I'll make sure everyone remembers me as the guy who beat you in the MECCA Challenge.
(Commercial Break)
(In the arena, "This is Not My Life" hits and Alan Mayse makes his way to the ring.)
David: Here comes the man who will challenge Eddie Crowe for the Toughman Title this Saturday, but he's taken a tough match for tonight, to put it lightly.
Dick: Alan feels that the Toughman Title belongs to him, and he's tired of being overshadowed by Eddie Crowe for the past four years.
("The Final Countdown" hits and Bryan Danielson makes his way to the ring.)
David: The American Dragon wants to prove his toughness in a different way, as he has signed up for the Battlebrawl this Saturday.
Dick: An incredibly dangerous match, but Danielson is not just a brilliant technical wrestler. He can mix it up as well as anybody, and he doesn't always need a weapon to knock someone out.
(FINISH: Alan goes for the Tiger Bomb, but Danielson escapes and hits a Regalplex for two. He tries to segue into the lethal elbows, but Alan rolls out. Danielson hits a roaring forearm and goes for a tiger suplex. However, Alan breaks free and sits down across Danielson's chest. He segues right into the Anklebreaker, and Danielson taps out.)
Winner: Alan Mayse
David: Alan Mayse just made Bryan Danielson tap, and can you imagine the pain Danielson must have been in to tap that fast?
Dick: What a win for Alan Mayse, and if he locks that hold on Eddie, I think we'll have a new Toughman Champion.
(The camera follows Alan Mayse backstage, where Eddie Crowe is waiting for him.)
Eddie: Alan, congratulations on the big win. But at the MECCA Challenge, you've got me. And there's not a submission hold you can come up with that will make me tap to you.
Alan: Did you not pay attention to that? No one breaks my Anklebreaker, including you. For years I've had to live in your shadow, but no more. I'm taking back my title and continuing my mission to reach legendary status. No one will stand in my way, including you.
(Alan shoulders past Eddie.)
(Commercial Break)
(Backstage, Bill Bicknell is with the Pyro Twins.)
Bill: Jay, Dusty, this Saturday is the rubber match. You against the Briscoes, and the Briscoes' tag team belts will be on the line.
Jay: It's time we set the record straight, Bill. People think that we hate the Briscoes, but this isn't about hate. This is about them jumping us on their first day here, about targeting the belts that we held. And now they've got those belts, but guess what? They didn't beat us for them.
Dusty: And that's what it all boils down to. Those belts are ours. They can't win when those titles are on the line. We are the best tag team in the world, and no one from Delaware or any other state is going to take that distinction. This Saturday, we move in for the kill. We're taking our belts back, and leaving the Briscoes as a pile of ashes.
(In the arena, "Serve the Shame" hits and Lisa Letty, Shadow, Coquette and Allison Danger make their way to the ring.)
David: This match was signed after Katie Piehl drew the last team for the MECCA Challenge, which will be Shadow and Coquette. Half of the women in that match are out here for an eight-woman tag.
Dick: This could be a good opportunity for Shadow and Coquette to get some teamwork going, because if Shadow takes the fall this Saturday, she's out of here.
("Fall Behind Me" hits and Naomi Leach, Heather Star, Sara Del Rey and Zoe Alexander make their way to the ring.)
David: Here come the other four women in this match, and of course Del Rey and Alexander will be a team, but Leach and Star are on the opposite side as their partners.
Dick: The winners of the match this Saturday will go on to New Dawn to face each other for the vacant Ladies' Title. You have to think that with their partners on the opposite side, they might not be willing to inflict as much punishment as they normally would.
(FINISH: As Allison, Shadow, Zoe and Sara fight on the floor, Heather goes to the top and sails onto them with a Falling Star Press, taking them all down. Lisa and Coquette double team Naomi in the ring, and whip her into the ropes. They try a double clothesline, but Naomi uses their arms to do a back flip. She gives Lisa an enzugiri, making her plow into Coquette. In her confusion, Naomi schoolgirls Lisa and gets the three count.)
Winners: Naomi Leach, Heather Star, Sara Del Rey and Zoe Alexander
David: Naomi's team wins it, and Naomi just pinned her own partner for this Saturday!
Dick: I can't imagine them working too well together, but both of them desperately want that Ladies' Title.
(In the locker room, EEE is standing around talking.)
Robbie: Okay, guys! This Saturday we have that Battlebrawl match and one of us is going to win.
Stephie: How's that ankle doing?
Robbie: You don't worry about my ankle, I'm going to be good to go. But after the Battlebrawl, we've got something else.
Omar: What, another match?
Robbie: Better. This is MECCA's biggest weekend ever. We're going to be in Los Angeles, and you know what that means...
Ryan: The biggest party ever!
Robbie: Exactly! And I think we use that chance to unveil to the world our new goal here in MECCA. Let's get out of here and prepare.
(They exit the locker room.)
(Commercial Break)
(In the arena, "Third Reich from the Sun" hits and Nykk and Ronin Fox make their way to the ring.)
David: It's main event time, and of course we've got Nykk and Fox, the two head honchos in the House of Lords, but their asses are on the line this weekend.
Dick: They've all got big opportunities, but at the same time, what will become of them if they fail?
("Kobrakai" hits and Cynric and Anubis make their way to the ring.)
David: Anubis looks ready to challenge Nykk for that World Title in the main event on Saturday, and Cynric can't wait to get his hands on his brother and possibly knock him out of MECCA for good in the MECCA Challenge match.
Dick: What an event it will be, and there's only this match standing between us and Los Angeles.
(FINISH: Nykk tries a pescado on Cynric, but gets kicked right in the face on the way down. Cynric sends Nykk into the guardrail as Fox escapes from the Pyramid Lock. He locks in a sleeper, and Anubis tries to ram him into the corner. Fox gets his feet up and somersaults over Anubis, running to the opposite side and springing back with the Tail End. Anubis doesn't go down with the move and lifts Fox so high into the air that he flips him into a powerbomb. He picks Fox up and nails the Sarcophagus, covering for the three count.)
Winners: Anubis and Cynric
David: Anubis and Cynric are victorious, and if this is the indication of things to come, we will have a new MECCA Champion in three days.
Dick: He still has to get past Nykk, one of the toughest competitors in MECCA history.
(Nykk helps Fox back up the aisle, but Anubis has a mic.)
Anubis: Nykk, for weeks you've been trying to wear me down and hurt me, but as you can see I'm still standing here! And all you've managed to do is piss me off. Well, I'm not going to wait anymore. I'll even give you a free shot. Come on down and try to hurt me, because regardless, I'm walking out of Los Angeles as the World Champion!
(Anubis throws down the mic and turns his back. The temptation is too much for Nykk, and he runs down and slides into the ring. Before he can do anything, an official holds him back, and more start swarming into the ring. Nykk tries to get at Anubis, and Anubis starts flinging suits aside like stuffed animals, but there are too many of them.)
