David: MECCA has returned to Trenton, New Jersey, for another edition of Go Time! I'm David Mills, along with Dick Broccoli, and tonight we'll see the MECCA Tag Team Championship on the line as the Briscoes challenge Nykk and Ronin Fox in the main event!
Dick: But that's not all as we'll also see ladies' tag team action as Heather Star will team with Mercedes Martinez against Shadow and Lisa Letty from the House of Lords.
("Fall Behind Me" hits and Austin Lee and Naomi Leach make their way to the ring.)
David: We're continuing the Mixed Tag League with a semi-final match. This match will determine the shape of the card at Ignition.
Dick: The winners of this match will face Ronin Fox and Shadow in the finals regardless, but if Austin Lee loses, he has Nykk in the main event. If he wins, Bryan Danielson will defend the World Title against Nykk.
("The Final Countdown" hits and Bryan Danielson and Sara Del Rey make their way to the ring.)
David: Danielson will have the option of vetoing any one challenger or taking a future title shot, being a current champion, if he wins the Mixed Tag League. So even though Nykk's the number one contender, Danielson could choose to shut him out entirely.
Dick: It will be interesting to see what happens, should any of the current champions win this tournament.
(FINISH: Del Rey gets Leach in the Royal Butterfly, but before she can tap, Danielson sidesteps a charging Austin and he slams into the women, knocking them through the ropes to the outside. Danielson takes advantage of Austin's momentary confusion to try and apply Cattle Mutilation. Austin escapes and pushes Danielson into the ropes. He tries a monkey flip, but Danielson jumps over him and leans back with a roll up. Austin counters into a victory roll for two, but Danielson rolls back on top of him for another two count. Austin hooks Danielson's arms with his feet and then hooks his feet with his hands, turning him over into a pinning predicament and getting the three count.)
Winners: Austin Lee and Naomi Leach
David: Austin Lee with a surprise pin on the World Champion, and this means Austin and Naomi are facing Fox and Shadow in the finals!
Dick: This also means that the main event of Ignition will be Danielson vs. Nykk for the MECCA Championship.
David: We have to take a short break, but the action continues when we return.
(Backstage, Delirious is squatting on the floor and rocking back and forth, apparently concentrating, when Prince Nana enters.)
Nana: Hey, you fool! I have been seething and I have been thinking ever since last week at the mockery you made of Prince Nana! I am royalty from Ghana, West Africa, and will be treated with the proper respect here in MECCA, not chased off like some common miscreant by the likes of you! You will bow down to me right now, or I will have my clients the Surgeons take you out, my friend. Hey! Are you listening to me?
(Nana slaps Delirious, and he immediately pops back to his feet and Nana begs off.)
Delirious: Dalesheba mahama taobisa abe Ghana, crahada Delirious, eksube inoca...
(The Surgeons suddenly attack from behind. Matt Stryker applies the Stryker Lock as Walters stomps on Delirious's head.)
Nana: You see what you get? I have no patience for freaks like you!
(Matt Sydal arrives on the scene and attacks Stryker. He fights with the Surgeons until officials come and break it up.)
(In the arena, "At the Helm" by Hieroglyphics hits and Ryan Andrews makes his way to the ring.)
David: Welcome back to Go Time, and as you saw before the break, Delirious was attacked by Prince Nana and the Surgeons, but thankfully Matt Sydal was right there before major damage could be done. Right now, Ryan Andrews is in action, and in addition to the stress that I'm sure comes with being Nykk's cousin in this company, he revealed last week that he's still going to school in addition to wrestling.
Dick: He does look a bit haggard, and I'm sure a schedule like that must be tough.
("Soul Creation" hits and Cynric makes his way to the ring.)
David: Cynric is being well received by fans after taking Nykk a peg for the past two weeks. He said he's come to look on his firing from the House of Lords as a favor, but his pride is not going to let Nykk get away with humiliating him.
Dick: We still don't know how he stands on his brother, though. What will happen if he and Ronin Fox come face to face?
(FINISH: Cynric goes for the Lift Off, but Ryan makes it to his feet and takes Cynric down with a clothesline. He whips Cynric into the corner, but Cynric reverses. Ryan jumps to the second turnbuckle and vaults off backwards for a double axehandle, but Cynric hits him with a rolling koppo kick in midair. He gives Ryan the Shock Cannon and covers for the three count.)
Winner: Cynric
David: Cyrnic wins, but I'm sure he has bigger fish to fry than the truant Ryan Andrews.
Dick: If he wants to get to Nykk, he may have to go through his own brother. I'm not sure if either man is willing to actually fight the other. We've seen how loyal they are to each other in the past.
(Cynric gets a mic.)
Cynric: First, I just want to thank all you fans for taking me back with open arms. This reception is really something. And Nykk, I said last week that I wouldn't let you get away with what you did. And since you decided to humiliate me, I'm going to take something that you hold dear. Tonight, you have a tag title match against the Briscoes. Well, there has been a very special guest referee appointed by Katie Piehl, and that referee is ME! And I make no bones about it, since I made the obvious mistake of putting those belts on you, I am going to cost you the MECCA Tag Team Championship! Do you people want the Briscoes as your new tag team champs? The House of Lords is going down the toilet, and tonight I have my hand on the flush handle. I'm taking you down, and Fox, all I have to say, brother, is you better stay out of my way.
("Soul Creation" plays and Cynric leaves the ring.)
David: A special guest referee for the main event, and it's that man right there. Stay with us, and we'll return with a ladies' tag team match.
(In the office, Anubis and Alan Mayse are arguing as Katie Piehl stands between them.)
Katie: All right, enough you two!
Alan: Katie, as a former Toughman Champion I should be given dibs on title shots. Tell Khufu the Mummy here to wait his turn.
Anubis: What? What did you say, Mayse?
Katie: Alan, I don't know why you think I should give you anything after you turned your back on us and joined the House of Lords. Anubis has been loyal from the start, and I see no reason to shut him out.
Alan: The only reason I joined up with Nykk in the first place was because I wasn't getting my just due... i.e. title shots. So if anyone out there doesn't like my politics, they can deal with it.
Katie: I don't want to deal with either of you right now, to tell the truth. So here's what we're going to do. You'll both get a Toughman Title shot, and it will happen at Ignition. The Wild Wolf vs. Anubis vs. Alan Mayse in a Triangle Match.
Anubis: That's fine by me, because I don't like this...
(Eddie Crowe enters.)
Katie: Eddie, how are you?
Eddie: Am I interrupting something?
Alan: Yeah, we were discussing the finer points of title shots, something you haven't had in a long time.
Eddie: Well, I can't argue there, and as soon as my current business is done, you can rest assured that will be a priority once again. And Mayse, I would watch it if I were you. I don't like anyone who was associated with the House of Lords, and after I take out Joey and Huh, I may just come knocking on your door.
Katie: So I take this is about a match with Huh and Joey?
Eddie: Yes, I want them in the ring at Ignition.
Katie: That sounds fine to me. Do you have a partner in mind?
Eddie: No partner necessary.
Katie: You want a handicap match?
Eddie: I don't sweat those two, and I want them all to myself. I don't need backup like they do, or this choke artist Alan Mayse does...
(Mayse shoves Eddie, and he lunges at Alan, but Anubis holds him back while Katie grabs Alan's arm.)
Katie: Not in my office! You three have what you want. Now get out of here!
(Anubis escorts Eddie out, and Alan shakes off Katie.)
(Commercial Break)
(In the arena, "Gangsta Bitch" hits and Shadow and Lisa Letty make their way to the ring.)
David: It's time for tag action in the ladies' division, and the two female members of the House of Lords are ready to do battle.
Dick: Shadow is going on to the finals of the Mixed Tag League, along with Ronin Fox, and she makes no bones about the fact that if she wins, she plans on keeping Naomi Leach from challenging for her Ladies' Title.
("Mercedes" hits and Mercedes Martinez and Heather Star make their way to the ring.)
David: Here come two women that would love to challenge for that Ladies' Championship. Martinez came up short about a month ago, but Heather Star was certainly impressive in her match against the debuting Allison Danger last week.
Dick: She'll need to do more than be impressive to be granted a title match, though.
(FINISH: Lisa tries to shoulderblock Mercedes in the ropes, but she moves, and Heather kicks Lisa straight in the face as she pokes her head through the ropes. Lisa falls to the outside, but Shadow ducks a clothesline from Mercedes and hits the Skullbuster. She applies a Dragon Sleeper, but before she can fall back, Heather comes off the top rope with a missile dropkick. Mercedes dives through the ropes with a tope on to Lisa as Heather puts Shadow on her shoulders and drives her down with Greetings from Heaven. She covers and gets the three count.)
Winners: Heather Star and Mercedes Martinez
David: Star and Martinez win it, and Heather has just pinned our Ladies' Champion. That's one way to be granted that title shot!
Dick: Martinez and Star were looking great in there, and they just took down two of the top ladies in MECCA.
David: Shadow may want to think about vetoing Heather Star after what happened here.
(Backstage, Joey Sprinklers and Huh find Alan Mayse by the catering table.)
Joey: Alan, just the guy we wanted to see.
Alan: What do you two goofs want?
Huh: Well, uh... you know how Eddie Crowe is after us? He kinda doesn't like you either, and we realize that we just don't get along. We need a leader.
Joey: Yeah, we don't got Nykk no more, ya know? We were just wonderin', since he may be goin' after ya next, maybe you could be our leader.
Alan: (smirks) Why would I want my own pair of idiots? But you know what? You two don't need me. Eddie made the fatal mistake of requesting a handicap match with you at Ignition. I don't care how good he is, if you two can work together for even a little while, the numbers game will get him.
Joey: Ya think so?
Alan: Absolutely. In fact, I just saw Eddie down the hall. I think you should go show him what you two are capable of, and give him a little taste of what's in store for him. I'll even help you. Then he'll be too hurt to even put up a small fight in Toronto.
Huh: Yeah... we'll kick his ass!
Alan: That's the spirit. Let's go.
(Alan, Huh and Joey walk down the hall, where Eddie is messing with his iPod. Alan signals to Huh and Joey, and they charge forward and attack him. Alan hangs back as Huh charges, and Eddie sidesteps him, causing him to careen into Joey. Eddie kicks Huh in the ass, and Huh runs away. Eddie pounds away on Joey with right hands until Joey manages to crawl away as well and flee out a side exit. Eddie turns back toward Alan, but Alan just smirks and walks away.)
(Commercial Break)
(In the locker room, Ryan Andrews is packing his gear into his bag when Robbie Reno enters.)
Robbie: Ryan, listen, I saw that match you had with Cynric, and don't let that loss get you down. He's a tough customer.
Ryan: Yeah... I don't know, though. I did okay in wrestling school, but I just haven't been able to break out here in MECCA, you know? Maybe I'd be better off if I just concentrated on school full time.
Robbie: You just need to relax. Look, what you're missing is the party atmosphere that college brings, right? Well, what if we bring the party to MECCA? Have a little fun, loosen up...
Ryan: You think we could do that?
Robbie: I'm sure of it. Just stick with me, kid, and we'll go places. All we need is some beer, girls, food, music and promiscuity, and we've got ourselves a good old fashioned frat party.
(Ryan looks a little cheerier at that prospect.)
(In the arena, "Ballroom Blitz" hits and Tristan Lee makes his way to the ring.)
David: We're back with the action as Tristan Lee is coming off a huge upset over Alan Mayse a couple of weeks ago. Let's see if he can keep the momentum going.
Dick: His brother Austin won his way to the finals of the Mixed Tag League earlier, and though Austin has expressed interest in going after the World Title, it's not out of the realm of possibility that he could use his title shot to challenge for the tag titles with Tristan.
("On the Speedway" hits and Jamie Chan makes his way to the ring.)
David: Jamie Chan laid out Kevin Stone once again next week, with the intention being to get another match with Stone at Ignition. Chan feels that he's just on the cusp of that elusive big victory over a top tier MECCA competitor.
Dick: Chan has all the tools, and even was the winner of the Stiff Strike Challenge back in October, so he may be finally ready for a higher caliber of opposition.
(FINISH: Tristan hits a butterfly suplex and goes up top. He tries a moonsault, but Chan gets his knees up. He kicks Tristan in the face from the ground and then spins, sweeping the legs, and then gets up, dropping a knee onto his head and covering for two. He tries to apply the Chan Lock, but Tristan counters into a victory roll for two. He gives Chan a leg lariat and goes up top, but Chan intercepts him with a palm strike and goes up with him. He gets on Tristan's shoulders and gives him a victory roll from the top, driving down to the mat and hooking the legs for the three count.)
Winner: Jamie Chan
David: Chan gets the victory, and keeps the momentum on his side.
Dick: What resourcefulness he shows, and should Stone accept his challenge, I don't think that match will be such a foregone conclusion.
(Chan goes under the ring and brings out a kendo stick. He gets in the ring and prepares to lay into Tristan, but Kevin Stone runs out and slides into the ring. Chan swings at Kevin, but he catches the kendo stick in his hands and yanks it out of Chan's. Chan immediately runs for it, and Stone gets a mic.)
Stone: Jamie Chan... you can't run forever. In fact, you don't plan on it, do you, because you challenged me for Ignition. Well, as I've already told Katie Piehl, I accept that challenge. But I accepted under one condition... if you want to hit each other with kendo sticks, let's hit each other with kendo sticks or anything else lying around. I've been granted a match with you in Toronto, and it will be Anything Goes!
David: That will be a hard hitting encounter for sure, as Kevin Stone meets Jamie Chan... in what... is sure... sure to be... what's going on?
(Stone looks over to ringside, where the man who punched the fan the week before is back and going crazy. He's taking chairs and throwing them down in a pile as fans rush to get out of his way. He yells something at Stone about piling the bodies to the sky and then tries to jump the guardrail. Several members of security intercept him and drag him off, and the man screams like an animal the entire way to the back.)
David: That fan is back again, and... well... now he'll just be prosecuted. We'll be right back with our main event.
(Commercial Break)
(Backstage, Cynric is in a ref shirt and walking toward the arena when Nykk suddenly hits him with a forearm from behind. Fox joins Nykk as he stomps on Cynric, and then grabs a chair. He smashes Cynric's head into the floor and then hands the chair to Fox.)
Nykk: Now's your time to make your choice, Fox. You heard what he said earlier. He wants to cost us these belts. No loving brother would do that. You've done nothing but care for him, some would even say babysit him, from your first day in this business. And now for the first time, you're not on the same side. It's time to take that step.
(Fox considers the chair for a moment and then smashes Cynric's head into the floor again.)
Fox: Mark, I advised you to just let it go. If you can't do that, if you continue to involve yourself in our business, I'm done with you.
(Finally, officials arrive to tend to Cynric, and they yell at Nykk and Fox to just go to the ring.)
(In the arena, "Gimme Back My Bullets" hits and the Briscoes make their way to the ring.)
David: Once again, the House of Lords have disrupted plans for the evening, as Cynric was set to be the special guest referee, but there's no way he's going to be able to come out here now.
Dick: Some might call it survival. For the first time, the House of Lords is fighting against the odds here in MECCA.
David: The Briscoes earned this title match by defeating the Killer Kanines last week, and this could definitely be their night even without a referee on their side. Right now, they're scheduled for a match against the Pyro Twins at Ignition, but you have to wonder if the belts will be on the line if they win them right now.
("Third Reich from the Sun" hits and Nykk and Ronin Fox make their way to the ring.)
David: How sick that Fox would take out his own brother like that, even if they aren't on the same page anymore. They had better worry less about who the referee is, and more about beating the Briscoes.
Dick: It's time to see just what kind of tag team champions Fox and Nykk are.
(FINISH: The Briscoes hit their super elevated flapjack on Fox, and then Mark bounces off the ropes, only for Nykk to pull down the top rope and cause him to fall to the floor. Nykk gets on the top rope and tries a double axehandle, but Jay boots him in the midsection. He hits the Jay Driller and covers, but Fox makes the save. Mark gets back in the ring and gives Fox a big boot. The ref separates the two illegal men as the Pyro Twins run out to ringside. As the ref is tangled with Fox, they give Mark Final Darkness. Jay Briscoe gets back in the ring with a chair and cracks Dusty over the head with it, but before he can get Jay Crowe, he kicks the chair into Briscoe's face and rolls out of the ring. Briscoe drops the chair, and Fox gives him the tiger buster on it as the ref gets Dusty out of the ring. Nykk applies the reverse Cedarleaf, the Scorpion Tail, on Jay Briscoe. He bends him as far forward as he'll go, and the Pyro Twins grab Mark's legs to prevent him from making the save. Finally, Briscoe taps out.)
Winners: Nykk and Ronin Fox
David: I don't believe it. After blatant interference from the Pyro Twins, Nykk and Fox are still tag team champions.
Dick: It goes to show how much loyalty they have for Nykk that they would not just let the Briscoes win, and most likely get themselves a title shot in the process.
(The Pyro Twins raise Nykk and Fox's arms as Katie Piehl comes out on the stage and stares at them in disbelief. Nykk laughs right in her face, saying she will never be able to take him down.)
David: Katie can't believe it, and who can blame her? The House of Lords have proven tonight they'll do anything to survive. We'll see you next week, fans.
