Cynric b. Mark Briscoe

("Neocon" opening.)

David: MECCA comes to you the day after Christmas from Miami, Florida, and this is Go Time! I'm David Mills, along with Dick Broccoli, and we have a World Title match for you right here between the holidays.

Dick: That's right, Bryan Danielson will be defending his championship against Dusty Schneble of the Pyro Twins, representing the House of Lords.

David: Also, the Mixed Tag League will continue right here tonight with the final two first round matches.

David: And in a tag team rematch from last week, the Surgeons will take on the Killer Kanines.

("Filthy/Gorgeous" hits and Robbie Reno and Coquette make their way to the ring.)

David: We're starting with the first round of the Mixed Tag League and of course last week saw the teams of Bryan Danielson and Sara Del Rey, as well as Austin Lee and Naomi Leach, advance to the semi-finals.

Dick: Reno and Coquette want to re-establish themselves in MECCA, and thus this team was formed for the tournament.

("Sensi" hits and Matt Sydal and Daizee Haze make their way to the ring.)

David: These two are very familiar with each other, as they came up in the St. Louis area when first starting out.

Dick: Sydal is a former tag champion and Haze is a former Ladies' Champion, and they want to win this tournament and get some more gold on their resume.

(FINISH: Sydal hits the Shooting Sydal Press on Reno, but Coquette breaks it up. Daizee yanks her off Sydal by the hair and gives her the heart punch. She bounces off the ropes with the Yakuza Kick, sending her right into Reno, who stumbles into the clutches of Sydal. He hits the Here It Is Driver and covers for the three count.)

Winners: Matt Sydal and Daizee Haze

David: Sydal and Haze win it, and they will go on to face the winners of the Fox and Shadow vs. Stone and Star team next week.

Dick: Every team in this tournament wants those guaranteed title shots, but Sydal and Haze have a tough roadblock no matter who comes out on top later.

David: We'll be right back with more MECCA action!

(Commercial Break)

(In the arena, "Drugs" by L'il Kim hits and Prince Nana makes his way to the ring.)

David: We're back on Go Time, and what is this?

Dick: Is that who I think it is?

(Prince Nana grabs a mic.)

Nana: Shut off that music, you fat slob! Ha ha, so this is MECCA, huh? The Modern Establishment of Competitive Combat Arts? You all seem to have many things to enjoy in this company, my friends... but if there is one thing you people do not have and do not deserve it is to be in the presence of royalty! My name is Prince Nana, a legitimate prince, from the great country of Ghana in West Africa. I have come here not just as an ambassador from my homeland, but to make the green and get the gold. And there will be a few lucky souls that will join me on this mission, because there is a reason that I am the highest earning pro wrestling manager in the business. And only those with the highest earning potential will be offered a position in my Consulate. I am here to lead MECCA to new heights, and it starts right here. You see, there is a team in MECCA that has no direction. They are going nowhere, but they have great potential. So I bought their contracts from their current manager, and I will introduce you to them now... John Walters and Matt Stryker!

("Lava" hits and the Surgeons make their way to the ring.)

David: So that's the negotiations that Medea Knight was talking about. Apparently, the Surgeons are under new management and it's this Prince Nana.

Dick: If he bought out their contracts, he obviously has some money to throw around. I have heard this Prince Nana is a really good leader.

("Kobrakai" hits and the Killer Kanines make their way to the ring.)

David: I don't know how amused the Wild Wolf and Anubis are this turn of events. They happily agreed to another match with the Surgeons after the events of the past few weeks, but I don't think they expected this.

Dick: As we saw last week, they're beginning to concentrate on going their separate ways. In fact, Anubis expressed an interest in going after Wolf's Toughman Title.

(FINISH: Anubis hits Stryker with an Ankh Smash, but Nana gets on the mic again and starts running down the Kanines. Anubis goes over and steps through the ropes to take a swipe at him, but Nana dodges, allowing Walters to knee Anubis in the back and send him to the floor. Wolf attacks Walters and whips him into the corner and charges, but Nana warns Walters and he moves as Wolf jumps, crotching himself on the second turnbuckle. Walters gives him a lungblower out of the corner and then rolls him backwards into Stryker, who lifts him onto his shoulders. The Surgeons hit the Human Error, and Walters covers for the three count.)

Winners: The Surgeons

David: The Surgeons get the victory with some assistance from their new manager, Prince Nana. This guy's a real piece of work.

Dick: His tactics were very effective, as the Surgeons have avenged the losses they suffered in the past few weeks.

(As the Surgeons leave, Anubis gets back in the ring and helps Wolf up. However, Wolf shoves him away and says that if he isn't going to be there for him, don't even touch him.)

David: Wait a minute, look at this. Wolf is not happy at all about Anubis being out of position while he was being double teamed.

Dick: He may be feeling the pressure now that Anubis has expressed desire for the Toughman Title.

(Backstage, Bill Bicknell is standing by with Alan Mayse.)

Bill: Alan, at End of the Line, bad luck reared its ugly head when you were pinned in that eight-man tag match in what Nykk feels cost the House of Lords the best of five series. Then last week you were one of a few who were fired from the House of Lords, and you lost your spot on the Contender Star to Kevin Stone. How do you plan to turn this around?

Alan: First of all, Nykk, I don't need your group and never did. The House of Lords does not dictate whether I succeed or fail. You and I are in the race for the same belts, and as far as that goes, maybe instead of going after Danielson I'll get a partner and come after your belts. I don't know, but what I do know is that I don't need anybody. I don't need the House of Lords, I don't need the rest of MECCA, and I sure as hell don't need the fans. Now tonight, I'm up against Tristan Lee. If I have to beat him to get back on track, that's what I'll do. I am not losing again tonight.

(Alan walks off, and Jamie Chan enters.)

Chan: Well, now that he's done, I see we've got a couple of extra minutes, so let the Chan-Man come in and enlighten all of you of what has been happening lately. I've been going up against the best in MECCA, and failing. But that's okay, because one day soon all the bumps and bruises are going to be worth it when I break out and take MECCA by storm. My day is coming soon, and if anyone can do it, the Chan-Man can! Y'eaah!

(Chan runs away as Kevin Stone enters. He moves to go after Chan, but Heather Star holds him back.)

Stone: You think you're going to try and take me out with a kendo stick? I haven't forgotten about you, Chan. Come on back here!

Star: Kevin, stop. Worry about him later. We've got our tournament match next. Come on, let's go.

(She pulls Stone off camera.)

(Commercial Break)

(In the arena, "Gangsta Bitch" hits and Ronin Fox and Shadow make their way to the ring.)

David: The Mixed Tag League continues on Go Time, and this is the House of Lords' only chance to win the tournament, as Nykk and Lisa Letty fell to Austin Lee and Naomi Leach last week.

Dick: Shadow and Fox are already champions, which means if they win this tournament, they have the option of vetoing any one challenger for the duration of their reign. In Fox's case, he would only be able to veto one person. Their partner could still find another person to team with and work their way up the ranks, however.

("Dance Commander" hits and Kevin Stone and Heather Star make their way to the ring.)

David: As we saw before the break, Kevin Stone is still incensed at Jamie Chan for attacking him a few weeks ago, and is calling him out, but he had better keep his head on this tournament.

Dick: A lot is at stake, and the winners here will have to face Daizee Haze and Matt Sydal next week.

(FINISH: Shadow distracts the ref while Fox gets a chair. He tries to swing it at Stone, but gets it booted into his face. Stone grabs Fox in a sleeper and tries to lift him off his feet, but Fox goes to the corner and kicks back, flipping behind Stone and clipping the knee. He applies the Carrion Stretch, but Stone manages to get his legs free. Fox grabs a sleeper as Heather gets on the apron to try and break it up. Shadow grabs the chair and slides it into Heather's feet, catching her and causing her to fall and hit her head on the apron. Stone gets to his feet and Fox hops on his back. Stone tries to ram him into the corner, but Fox lets go and drops to the mat, letting Kevin ram himself into the corner. He takes him over with a victory roll and gets the three count.)

Winners: Ronin Fox and Shadow

David: Fox and Shadow did it, and we'll see them against Daizee and Sydal next week.

Dick: One half of the tag champs and the Ladies' Champion may be safe against at least one person after Ignition, and I would bet anything that if Shadow were to take the veto, she would use it against Naomi Leach.

(The camera follows Fox and Shadow through the curtain, where Nykk is waiting for them.)

Nykk: Good job, guys. I'm going to make sure you two win this thing, and the House of Lords will regain dominance whether or not I hold any power in MECCA. Why don't you two hit the showers and take the rest of the night off? You've got to rest up for next week.

Fox: What about Danielson and Dusty?

Nykk: Me and Jay will be here. Don't worry about it.

(Fox and Shadow nod and then head toward the locker rooms.)

(Commercial Break)

(In the arena, "This is Not My Life" by Fastball hits and Alan Mayse makes his way to the ring.)

David: We're back with more action on Go Time, and Alan Mayse looks, well, bitter.

Dick: 2007 did not work out for Mayse the way he wanted, and he needs to turn himself around for the coming year if he wants to remain in the title picture.

("Ballroom Blitz" hits and Tristan Lee makes his way to the ring.)

David: Tristan's brother Austin pinned Alan in the eight-man tag at End of the Line, and now Alan perhaps wants to send a message to his old rival.

Dick: Tristan is no slouch, and proved himself as a valuable team member at End of the Line after Eddie Crowe was unable to compete.

(FINISH: Alan hits the Tiger Bomb, but Tristan is too close to the ropes. Alan picks him up and tries another one, but Tristan counters into a sunset flip for two. Tristan sends Alan down with a spinning heel kick and goes up for a moonsault. Alan intercepts him with a forearm to the back and goes to the top with him. He tries the super Tiger Bomb, but Tristan counters with a backdrop. Alan lands on his feet under Tristan set up for a powerbomb, but Tristan takes him over with a hurricanrana and hooks the leg for the three count.)

Winner: Tristan Lee

David: What an upset! Tristan Lee just scored the victory, and Alan is livid!

(Alan kicks at the ropes in frustration, and when the ref raises Tristan's hand, Alan attacks from behind, clipping the knee. He applies a move where he sets up for an Indian deathlock, but instead grapevines one leg and applies a modified ankle lock. Tristan screams in pain and taps out, but Alan doesn't relinquish the hold.)

Dick: Alan has snapped, and what the hell is that move? I've never seen that before!

(Officials come down, but they can't pull Alan off of Tristan. Finally, Austin Lee runs down and Alan lets go of the hold, sliding out of the ring.)

David: Alan Mayse has been on a downward spiral, and his losing streak continues tonight, but he may have just broken Tristan's ankle.

(Austin Lee gets a mic as Tristan hobbles to his feet.)

Austin: Alan, don't be upset just because you had it all riding on a losing horse. I pinned you clean at End of the Line, and tonight, my brother beat you clean. Tristan, I know you're hurting right now, but I knew you could do it, so one more time raise those arms in the air because you earned it.

(Tristan raises his hand as his music plays, and shares an embrace with his brother.)

David: Austin is congratulating his brother on a big victory, but when we come back it's our main event. Bryan Danielson defends the World Title against Dusty Schneble!

(Commercial Break)

(In the arena, "Burning Times" hits and Dusty Schneble makes his way to the ring, accompanied by Jay Crowe.)

David: The World Title is on the line here on Go Time, and Dusty Schneble got this victory by virtue of his non-title win over Bryan Danielson a couple weeks ago on Rundown. Nykk made sure to make this match before the events at End of the Line.

Dick: Just like on Rundown, he has Jay Crowe out here with him, and this could be a problem for our World Champion. He's already shown he can't fend off both Pyro Twins at once.

(The ref tells Jay that his presence out here won't be tolerated, and to get to the back. Jay protests, but the ref threatens to disqualify Dusty before the match even starts. Finally, Jay has to do as he says.)

David: There we go. The referee has ejected Jay Crowe, and maybe now this will be a fair contest.

("The Final Countdown" hits and Bryan Danielson makes his way to the ring.)

David: The MECCA World Champion silenced all doubters at End of the Line, when he knocked out Ronin Fox with those lethal elbows. There are no excuses for the House of Lords now.

Dick: Bryan Danielson has weathered the storm brought on by the House of Lords so far, but has one more member to deal with tonight.

Jared: Ladies and gentlemen, this is your main event of Go Time, and it is for the MECCA World Championship! Introducing first, the challenger... from Bellbrook, Ohio, and weighing in at 230 lbs... he is one half of the Pyro Twins and a two-time former Tag Team Champion... Dustyyyy Schnebleeee! And his opponent... from Aberdeen, Washington, and weighing in at 195 lbs... he is the current reigning and defending MECCA World Heavyweight Champion... the American Dragon Bryaaaan Danielsooooon!

(FINISH: Dusty drapes Danielson over the top rope and goes for the Rope Burn II, but Danielson holds onto the top rope and falls on top of Dusty. He starts nailing him with elbows, but Dusty manages to wriggle out and escape. Danielson hits him with a roaring forearm and goes for a Crossface Chickenwing, but Dusty escapes from that and hits a teardrop suplex. He whips Danielson into the ropes, and goes for the Rope Burn I. Danielson counters into a triangle choke and starts nailing Dusty on the top of the head with elbows. However, Dusty makes it to the ropes and Danielson has to relinquish the hold. Danielson hits a European uppercut and whips Dusty into the corner. Dusty reverses and charges, but Danielson moves out of the way. He hits a tiger suplex and segues into Cattle Mutilation in the middle of the ring. Dusty can't make it to the ropes, and finally taps out.)

Winner: Bryan Danielson

David: Danielson retains after a competitive match, and this can't make Nykk happy.

Dick: The House of Lords have lost another one, and they are fast running out of challengers for that belt.

(As Danielson celebrates, Nykk and Jay Crowe hit the ring. They attack Danielson from behind and stomp on him as Dusty gets up. He joins in on the attack, and lifts Danielson to his feet. Nykk and Jay pelt Danielson with right hands, but suddenly Cynric runs down. He tells Nykk he wants one more chance at the House of Lords, so Nykk tells him to take his shot on Danielson. Instead, Cynric nails Nykk with a rolling koppo kick, sending him out of the ring. Jay hits Cynric with overhead forearms, but Cynric spins and sweeps Jay's legs, continuing around to kick Jay in the face as he sits up. Dusty drops Danielson, but gets a palm strike to the sternum. Cynric hits an enzugiri that sends Dusty to a knee, and Cynric gives him the Lift Off. Nykk and Jay pull Dusty out of the ring while Cynric tells them to bring themselves back into the ring.)

David: Cynric has just fought off three House of Lords members, and helped out Bryan Danielson. I guess he's not going to take his firing lying down!

Dick: Cynric has just effectively declared war against his former faction, and I wonder what his brother will do when he hears about this.

David: He's not even here right now, since Nykk gave him the rest of the night off. Maybe we'll find out next week when MECCA celebrates its third anniversary. We'll see you then!
