Rundown Results:
Matt Stryker b. Tristan Lee
Lisa Letty b. Heather Star
Huh b. Delirious, Jay Briscoe, Mark Briscoe
Pyro Twins b. Danielson/Crowe
("Neocon" opening.)
David: MECCA is here in Bakersfield, California, and this is Go Time! David Mills here, along with Dick Broccoli, and a major tag team match will main event tonight as the Pyro Twins take on the team of Kevin Stone and the World Champion Bryan Danielson!
Dick: And the Ladies' Title will be on the line as Shadow defends against Mercedes Martinez.
David: And due the attack on his partner last week, the Wild Wolf has accepted the challenge of Matt Stryker and the Toughman Title will be on the line.
("Serve the Shame" hits and Lisa Letty makes her way to the ring.)
David: Lisa Letty will be running interference for Shadow this week, as a shot at the Ladies' Title hangs in the balance.
Dick: If Lisa wins this match, you can be sure she'll be the first to challenge Mercedes if she happens to win the belt tonight.
("Fall Behind Me" hits and Naomi Leach makes her way to the ring.)
David: Naomi is coming off a big win over Sara Del Rey last week, but Shadow stated that if she wanted a shot at the belt, she would have to get through Lisa first.
Dick: And if Naomi does end up facing Shadow, we're told that match will be part of the best of five series at End of the Line.
(FINISH: Naomi goes for a back suplex, but Lisa escapes and rolls her up for a two count. She kicks Naomi and tries a pedigree, but Naomi escapes and pulls her in for a DDT. She tries to lock in the Leach Hold, but Lisa gets to her feet and hits a northern lights suplex. Naomi counters into the Leach Hold at two, and Lisa taps out.)
Winner: Naomi Leach
David: Naomi wins through Shadow's roadblock, and no matter who wins the Ladies' Title match later, Naomi definitely gets the next title shot.
Dick: What a return it's been for Naomi Leach, and she's only going to move upward from here.
(Backstage, Katie Piehl is talking to Eddie Crowe and Austin Lee.)
Katie: Austin, Eddie, now that the best of five series is taking shape, one of the matches that has been agreed upon is an eight-man tag. I want both of you at the forefront of that team, no matter who the House of Lords has on their side. Can I count on you guys to pick two more guys and make this a phenomenal team?
Eddie: Believe me, nothing could make me happier, Katie. On December 15, we will strike the death blow that puts the House of Lords out of commission, even if my own brother happens to be on the other side.
Austin: Speaking of brothers, I'm sure you saw my brother Tristan pin Ronin Fox a few weeks back. He would make a fine addition to our team.
Eddie: I don't know about that... you guys work well together, but you haven't really won that many matches. I was thinking something along the lines of the Briscoes, or even the tag team champs Sydal and Delirious...
Katie: Well, it looks like you two have some decisions to make. I'm going to go back to my office and watch Nykk's cousin debut on Go Time...
Eddie: Ryan's wrestling tonight?
Katie: Yeah, he's teaming with Robbie Reno against Huh and Joey.
Eddie: Really? I think I'm going to watch this as well.
(He exits.)
(Commercial Break)
(In the arena, "Hit That" hits and Joey Sprinklers and Huh make their way to the ring.)
David: We're moving along with tag team action here on Go Time, and Huh and Joey are ready for action.
Dick: Eddie Crowe seemed awfully interested in this match before the break. You have to wonder if he still has some bad blood with Joey based on what's happened in the last few weeks.
("Sweet Dreams" hits and Robbie Reno and Ryan Andrews make their way to the ring.)
David: The team of Robbie and Ryan is debuting on Go Time, and yes, Ryan is Nykk's cousin, a graduate of the MECCA Training Camp.
Dick: We've seen him on Rundown for the past couple of months, but this is his first chance on the main show.
(FINISH: Robbie goes for the Dream Sequence on Joey, but Huh intercepts him with a standing avalanche. Ryan slingshots in with a spinning heel kick to knock Huh down, as Joey baseball slides Robbie to send him to the outside. Ryan whips Huh into the ropes, but Huh reverses and lifts him into the air and drops him onto Joey's knees. Joey gives him Da Sprinklanator and covers for the three count.)
Winners: Huh and Joey Sprinklers
David: Huh and Joey win their first tag team match in a long time, and with End of the Line coming up, they're looking to get a big match and impress Nykk.
Dick: Especially with the tag title situation being wide open at the moment.
(Eddie Crowe suddenly runs out and attacks Joey and Huh as they're celebrating. He goes after Joey, who dives through the ropes to get away. Huh attacks Eddie from behind and whips him into the corner, but Eddie reverses and hits a charging dropkick. Huh falls through the ropes and he and Joey escape up the ramp.)
David: Eddie Crowe is not finished with Joey Sprinklers, and you know he has to be hoping that these two are on the opposite side of the ring from him at End of the Line.
Dick: Obviously Eddie Crowe wasn't satisfied with the job he did on Joey at No Regrets, but he'd better be careful because there are always going to be more House of Lords members surrounding Joey.
David: When we come back, the Ladies' Title will be on the line. Shadow defends against Mercedes Martinez!
(Backstage, Bill Bicknell is standing by with Nykk.)
Bill: Bill Bicknell here, back in the saddle after what transpired last week. I have to tell you, Nykk, I didn't appreciate the way your buddies attacked me.
Nykk: Are you kidding me, Bicknell? You've worked here how long? You should know better than to get in the Pyro Twins' way when they're on a rampage.
Bill: Be that as it may, last week you agreed to a best of five series against the MECCA loyalists at End of the Line, and in particular, you agreed to a match with the MECCA Monster himself, a former partner of yours, Kevin Stone.
Nykk: You know, you probably expect me to come out here with five guys behind me... the usual Nykk shenanigans, ranting and raving about how Kevin Stone will never get the better of me, etc., etc... but you know what? A little known fact in the wrestling career of Nykk: not once have I been able to beat Kevin Stone in RCW or here in MECCA. We've been everything, partners, opponents, he even worked for me at one point... and in just ten days at End of the Line, I exorcise that sore point once and for all. Because Kevin Stone, I win when it counts. And you and your friends may think that you've boxed the House of Lords into a corner, but we're lords for a reason. We rule this company, and we rule this business. And we also win when it counts. And on December 15 in Chicago, it definitely counts. Stone, I will beat you because I need to beat you. My authority rides on this, and I am not going to give it up. It's time to fish or cut bait. Time to sink or swim... only one problem: Stones can't do anything except sink. And at End of the Line, I'm sinking you for good.
(Commercial Break)
(In the arena, "Mercedes" hits and Mercedes Martinez makes her way to the ring.)
David: It's time for our Ladies' Title Match, and Mercedes finally won the opportunity she asked for a month ago by winning the Four Corners Match at No Regrets.
Dick: The Latina Sensation could take it all here, but the winner of this match has Naomi Leach waiting in the wings.
("Gangsta Bitch" hits and Shadow makes her way to the ring.)
David: Shadow continues to cling to the Ladies' Title, not only for herself, but for the House of Lords. She even went so far as to send Lisa Letty against Naomi Leach earlier in an attempt to derail her challenge.
Dick: And thanks to that win, we could be seeing Shadow vs. Naomi as part of the best of five series at End of the Line.
(FINISH: Mercedes goes for the Fisherwoman's Buster, but Shadow hooks her leg to block it. She breaks Mercedes's grip and rolls her up with an inside cradle for two. She goes for the Interceptor, but Mercedes blocks it and kicks her, executing the Fisherwoman's Buster. She covers, but Shadow gets a foot across the bottom rope. Mercedes sets her up in the corner for a tornado DDT, but Shadow drops her throat first across the top rope. She hits the Skullbuster and then hooks the Dragon Sleeper. She falls back with the body scissors, and Mercedes taps out after a few moments.)
Winner: Shadow
David: Shadow shows Naomi Leach that she's not the only one who can make people tap, as she retains the Ladies' Title.
Dick: That means in the best of five series it will be Shadow vs. Naomi Leach with the Ladies' Title on the line.
(Shadow gets a mic.)
Shadow: Naomi... you think you can just waltz in and take this title from me? You've been in this company one month... I've been here for three years. I just showed you what can happen when someone underestimates me. You know, years ago there were two females at the forefront in RCW... you and me. It was you who got all the attention, all the spotlight, while I was left in the... shadows... even though I knew I was every bit as good as you, maybe even better. Well, now I know I'm better than you. At End of the Line, I show you who the real female superstar is.
David: Some determined words from Shadow, who faces Naomi at End of the Line. We'll be right back!
(Commercial Break)
(In the locker room, Nykk is with Ronin Fox.)
Nykk: So you're sure you've got this match with Danielson at End of the Line? He really wants to knock you out this time, you know.
Fox: I've got this. The only reason I lost the MECCA Championship was because of some stupid referee. Now I'm ready to get back what's rightfully mine.
Nykk: It's just that everyone I've sent against Danielson has failed. Jay, Cynric... Alan failed twice. I don't know.
Fox: You've got nothing to worry about. With you and me winning, that already puts the House of Lords up two matches in the best of five series. If Shadow can win her match, we've already got this thing won.
Nykk: Still, we've got that eight-man and one other match.
Fox: Should we put the Pyro Twins in the eight-man?
Nykk: No, they and Lisa have something else in mind.
Fox: But that means...
Nykk: Yeah, Joey and Huh are going to be one half of our team. We do have Alan and Cynric for the other half, but still... I think we should thin the field somewhat for the other side.
Fox: Like how?
(Nykk whispers something to him and points to the door. They exit the locker room and walk down the hallway, where Matt Sydal and Delirious are talking to Bill Bicknell. Nykk and Fox attack them from behind, and Nykk slams Sydal into the wall while Fox and Delirious slug it out and Bicknell runs for it. Nykk clips his knee, and Delirious goes down. Fox stomps on him and Nykk grabs one of the tag title belts. He blasts Sydal in the face with it as officials arrive to separate them.)
(In the arena, "Lava" hits and Matt Stryker makes his way to the ring.)
David: It's pandemonium backstage, and what an unprovoked attack from Nykk and Fox. Obviously they're hoping that Delirious and Sydal won't be able to take part in the eight-man tag at End of the Line. Right now we've got a Toughman Title defense, and last week we saw another unprovoked attack when the Surgeons took down Anubis.
Dick: Anubis sustained a concussion from that chairshot, and will not be able to be here tonight, which spells trouble for his partner.
("Kobrakai" hits and the Wild Wolf makes his way to the ring.)
David: The Surgeons attacked Anubis to get in the head of the Wild Wolf, and stated they were coming after the Toughman Title, and Matt Stryker is the first up.
Dick: You know that John Walters is watching this very closely from the back.
(FINISH: Stryker goes for the Stryker Driver, but Wolf escapes. He spins Stryker around and goes for the Twig Snap, but Stryker counters with a sitout powerbomb for a two count. He bounces off the ropes for a running knee, but Wolf sidesteps him and gives him a rear kick to the midsection. He hits the Twig Snap and covers for the three count.)
Winner: The Wild Wolf
David: Wolf wins it, but here comes Walters!
(John Walters runs down and slides into the ring. He dukes it out with Wolf and Wolf gets the better of him. He whips Walters into the corner and charges, but Walters gets a boot up. Stryker puts Wolf on his shoulders and they hit the Human Error. Walters gets a mic.)
Walters: Hey Wolf... you may have gotten past my partner, but I'm up next and you've got me at End of the Line. You better get used to this sight.
(Stryker gets the Toughman belt and holds it up to Walters's waist before he takes it and throws it down on the Wild Wolf.)
David: John Walters vs. The Wild Wolf at End of the Line with the Toughman Title up for grabs.
Dick: I guess the agreement was that if Stryker couldn't beat him, then he would support his partner and that looks like exactly what's happening.
David: We'll be right back with our main event as Kevin Stone and Bryan Danielson take on the Pyro Twins!
(Commercial Break)
(Backstage, Bill Bicknell is standing by with Jamie Chan.)
Bill: Well, I was supposed to have the MECCA Tag Team Champions right now, but they're being looked at by medical personnel after that attack from Nykk and Fox. Instead, I've got Jamie Chan, and Jamie, you weren't exactly successful in your bid for the Toughman Title recently.
Chan: No I was not, but that's okay. I've said before, I'm taking on the best that MECCA has to offer and I'm becoming better because of it. And last week, I scored a major upset when I pinned Kevin Stone's shoulders to the mat. Granted, I did have a bit of help, but Kevin, anytime you want another match with me, you know where to find me. And I think after I laid you out last week, you'll definitely want another match, and that suits me just fine. Because I'm going straight to the top of MECCA, and the only way to prove myself is to face the absolute cream of the crop. Whether that's Kevin Stone, the Wild Wolf or anyone else, Jamie Chan's time is coming and all of you better watch the sky for that Falling Dragon.
(Chan exits.)
Bill: There you have it, Jamie Chan very confident... wait, wait....
(The Pyro Twins and Lisa Letty enter and Bill begs off.)
Jay: Relax, Bicknell, we've calmed down a bit this week. You're as safe as anyone can be who stands in the presence of the Pyro Twins.
Bill: Well... okay... Lisa Letty, what are you doing here with the Pyro Twins?
Lisa: What, I can't hang out with my good buddies Jay and Dusty?
Bill: This couldn't possibly have anything to do with Daizee Haze trying to stop them last week, could it?
Lisa: Daizee, Daizee, hazy, crazy, lazy Daizee Haze... I haven't forgotten that it was the trick you pulled with Shelirious that cost me the Ladies' Title, and since you want to get involved in House of Lords business so bad, I got together with the Pyro Twins and we came up with an idea. Since you're such good friends with the Briscoes all of a sudden, why don't we finish this once and for all at End of the Line? We've got that best of five series coming up, and I think one of the matches should be a six-person mixed tag match. You three against us.
Dusty: It's real simple, Briscoes... you're real good at sticking your noses where it doesn't belong. First costing us the tag titles at No Regrets after we safely saw that you two were eliminated, and again last week. Yet when it came time to actually face us across the ring, guess who came out on top?
Jay: We'll beat you as many times as it takes to prove that we're the best tag team in the world. And it's about to get real dangerous at End of the Line if you can "man up" and bring that dirty hippie with you, we'll be more than happy to lay all of you up on the shelf.
(In the arena, "The Final Countdown" hits and Kevin Stone and Bryan Danielson make their way to the ring.)
David: It's time for our main event, and the World Champion and the MECCA Monster are ready to end this with the House of Lords at End of the Line.
Dick: Bryan Danielson defends the MECCA Championship against Ronin Fox, and Kevin Stone finally gets his hands on Nykk on December 15.
("Burning Times" hits and the Pyro Twins make their way to the ring, along with Lisa Letty.)
David: The Pyro Twins have made the challenge for the final match in the best of five series, as they want to team with Lisa to take on the Briscoes and Daizee Haze, and I guess Lisa has decided to accompany them to the ring tonight.
Dick: What a match that will be if the Briscoes and Daizee do accept, and I don't see any reason why they wouldn't.
(FINISH: Danielson lays into Jay's head with elbows, but Dusty breaks it up with a boot to the head. Stone comes in and nails Dusty with a big boot of his own, but then gets hit with a spinning heel kick from Jay. Jay ducks the roaring forearm from Danielson, who accidentally nails the ref. Lisa Letty climbs into the ring and hits a double low blow on Danielson and Stone. Daizee Haze runs out and Lisa runs for it. The Pyro Twins grab Daizee, but the Briscoes come in through the crowd and start fighting with the Pyro Twins. They knock Jay out of the ring, and they give Dusty the Spike Jay Driller. Jay Crowe retrieves a chair and hits the Briscoes from behind, sending them to the outside. The ref starts to come to and Crowe goes to the top rope. He goes for a double axehandle on Stone but gets caught with a fist to the midsection. Stone lifts Crowe onto Danielson's shoulders and gives him an elevated Stone Cutter. He covers and gets the three count.)
Winners: Kevin Stone and Bryan Danielson
David: The team of Stone and Danielson have won thanks to the help of the Briscoes and Daizee Haze!
Dick: Does this mean they accept the challenge?
(Jay Briscoe gets the mic as Daizee raises Stone and Danielson's arms.)
Jay: Hey, Pyro Twins, Lisa... you damn straight we accept that challenge for End of the Line because we're gonna do our part for MECCA and eliminate the House of Lords' power once and for all. So we'll be there, and there's only one thing that you have to do...
Daizee: Man up!
("Gimme Back My Bullets" plays as the Pyro Twins and Lisa sulk back to the dressing room.)
David: There you have it, the final match for End of the Line has been determined. What will happen next week on the last Go Time before that event? Join us and find out!
