Go Time: 11/28/07

San Francisco, CA

Rundown Results:
Matt Sydal b. Jay Crowe
Leach/Haze b. Coquette/Magenta
Dusty Schneble b. Delirious
Nykk/Fox b. Stone/E. Crowe

("Neocon" opening.)

David: MECCA is once again emanating from the West Coast, as we bring Go Time to you from San Francisco, California! I'm David Mills, along with Dick Broccoli, and what a show we have for you tonight. In the main event, Cynric will represent the House of Lords and he will be facing Austin Lee!

Dick: We'll also see the Killer Kanines in tag team action as they face the House of Lords combo of Joey Sprinklers and Alan Mayse.

David: We'll also have an announcement from Katie Piehl concerning this year's tournament.

("Clavicle" hits and Matt Sydal makes his way to the ring.)

David: One half of the tag team champions makes his way down, as he and Delirious were successful in the Three Way Dance at No Regrets.

Dick: He also won his way onto the Contender Star this past week on Rundown when he defeated Jay Crowe of the Pyro Twins.

("Did My Time" hits and Ronin Fox makes his way to the ring.)

David: Fox seems to have been concentrating on tag team work lately, but you know the House of Lords wants that Contender Star spot back.

Dick: Fox and Nykk were successful at No Regrets as well, in their rematch with the Lee Brothers. Now Fox may be setting his sights on the big prize.

(FINISH: Fox works over the knee throughout the match, but gets thrown off of a Tail End attempt. Sydal whips him front first into the turnbuckles and then hits the Slice. He goes up and tries the Shooting Sydal Press, but Fox moves. Sydal lands on his feet, but tweaks his knee. He limps around, but as Fox moves in, he takes him over with a headscissors. Fox rolls to his feet and clips Sydal's knee from the side, somersaulting him. He locks in the Carrion Stretch, and Sydal taps out.)

Winner: Ronin Fox

David: Fox got the win after some smart work on the leg of Sydal, and just like that the House of Lords takes back the spot they lost.

Dick: He also got a win over one half of the tag team champs, and with the Pyro Twins blowing their shot at the gold, maybe he and Nykk are thinking about being the next challengers.

("The Way I Am" cuts off Fox's music, and Austin Lee makes his way to the ring, followed by Tristan Lee, Naomi Leach, Kevin Stone and Eddie Crowe. Fox quickly exits the ring and leaves through the crowd as Austin gets a mic.)

Austin: Don't go too far, Fox, because we have something to say that concerns you and your so-called friends. For months, we have been fighting to even the odds against the House of Lords, and finally we have all of you on the run. At No Regrets, the true warriors of MECCA were victorious in most of our matches, and you were unable to regain any of the titles you've lost. It's time we put an end to this war, and I say we do it at the pay-per-view we have coming up in three weeks, End of the Line in Chicago. With full authority of the MECCA executor Katie Piehl, we have come out here to challenge the House of Lords to a best of five series at End of the Line. And on the line will be the power of MECCA. If we win, all of Nykk's decision making power reverts back to the board of directors and Katie Piehl, and if you win, Ms. Piehl will step down as the executor and you will have free reign back. So Nykk, show some guts for once in your life, and get out here and accept our challenge!

("Destroy" hits and Nykk makes his way onto the stage with a mic in hand.)

Nykk: Austin Lee, you want to come out here and make a big to-do about this challenge? I'm well aware of what all of you bring to the table, and believe me, you do not have the House of Lords on the run by any means. But getting rid of Katie once and for all is very tempting, and since I know we can take you down and win back some titles in the process, I'd say you're right, it is time to end this. You've got your best of five series.

(Kevin takes the mic from Austin.)

Stone: If we've got our best of five series, then I want to be the first to challenge you in one of the matches, Nykk. One year ago, we marched out to this ring together to do battle, and back in April you turned on me. I haven't forgotten, and now's my chance to finally place my hands around your throat and squeeze all the bull crap right out of your body!

(Fox joins Nykk on the stage and says something to him. Nykk nods.)

Nykk: Fox just made a good point. He just earned his way back on the Contender Star by beating one of your "true warriors" and he's never gotten his rematch with Danielson. So you're on, Stone, on the condition that if we face off in the middle of the ring, Fox gets what he wants, and that's a title rematch with the American Dragon!

(Austin takes the mic back.)

Austin: I can't speak for Danielson, but I'm confident that he would welcome that challenge. You'll have your answer soon, but no matter what the matches are, the end is near for the House of Lords and true order and virtue will be restored to MECCA, and the new year will signify a new day for Austin Lee. Because after Stone's done with you, Nykk, I'm coming for you. And once I'm done with you, the MECCA Championship is coming to where it truly belongs.

("The Way I Am" plays as Austin stares down Nykk.)

David: What an announcement to kick off Go Time! A best of five series between MECCA and the House of Lords will take place at End of the Line, and two potential matches have just been announced. Go Time continues when we return.

(Commercial Break)

(In the arena, "Fall Behind Me" is playing, and Naomi Leach is warming up in the ring.)

David: The arena has cleared out here on Go Time, but Naomi has stayed out here for a very important match.

Dick: This one is going to be a classic, to be sure.

("Alcoholocaust" hits and Sara Del Rey makes her way to the ring.)

David: The American Angel wants back some of the momentum she lost at No Regrets, when Mercedes Martinez won the title shot against Shadow. This match will go a long way in determining a new number one contender.

Dick: As much as Shadow tries to avoid it, the challengers are starting to line up. I guess we'll see if she holds up under the pressure.

(FINISH: Del Rey gets Naomi up in the Royal Butterfly, but Naomi blocks the powerslam attempt. Instead, Sara throws her up on her shoulders into a modified backbreaker. Naomi struggles and eventually fights her way out, countering into a sunset flip for a two count. Del Rey rolls backward, but Naomi catches her in the Leach Hold. Sara tries to reach the ropes, but can't quite make it. She powers up to her feet, with Naomi still having the hold locked in. She gets back to her feet and DDTs Del Rey, rolling back with her to reapply the Leach Hold. Del Rey fades, and the ref drops her hand three times before calling for the bell.)

Winner: Naomi Leach

David: What a hard fought victory for Naomi Leach, and that has to be enough to get her a shot at the Ladies' Title.

Dick: What tough competitors both of these ladies are, but it was Naomi Leach who was able to come out on top on this night.

(Naomi shakes hands with Sara and then gets a mic.)

Naomi: So it's been almost a month now, and I think if anyone has forgotten the name Naomi Leach, I've reminded them. Now it's time for me to take my place atop the ladies' division of MECCA. Shadow, get out here right now and give me my title shot!

("Gangsta Bitch" hits and Shadow makes her way onto the stage with a mic.)

Shadow: Naomi, I would be surprised if anyone remembered you when you came back. What exactly have you done in the last three years? You're a nobody, and I don't give title shots to nobodies. But if you can prove that you are somebody, then I'll let you have a title shot. While I'm running right through Mercedes next week, if you can get past my good friend Lisa Letty, you'll have your shot. Otherwise, I want you to go right back where you came from in obscurity and stay there.

Naomi: You're calling me a nobody after I beat one of the best in the world just now? All right, I'll take on your pal Lisa. It'll be just like old times. And just like all times, it's going to end with Lisa either flat on her back or tapping to my Leach Hold. And when that happens, you'll be staring right at the next Ladies' Champion as I come one step closer to ruining you for good.

David: We have Naomi vs. Lisa for next week, but we have much more MECCA action when we return!

(Commercial Break)

(In the arena, "Third Reich from the Sun" hits and Alan Mayse and Joey Sprinklers make their way to the ring.)

David: We're back, and Alan is looking quite surly after once again failing to take the title from the American Dragon at No Regrets.

Dick: Joey has to be hurting as well after the beating he took from Eddie Crowe, and you have to wonder if maybe this is punishment from Nykk for their failure.

("Kobrakai" hits and the Killer Kanines make their way to the ring.)

David: Anubis was the first to be eliminated from that Four Way Dance, but it was only after all of his opponents ganged up on him that they were able to put him down. And of course, you can still see that the Wild Wolf has that Toughman Title after a hard fought defense against Jamie Chan.

Dick: Both of these men's stars are on the rise in the singles division, and this is actually the first time they've teamed in some time.

(FINISH: Alan sends Anubis off his feet with a hard clothesline, and then gets whipped into the corner by Wolf. He blocks the charging boot, and throws Wolf to the mat. He bounces back up, and Alan grabs him by the head and drives his chest down onto his knee. He whips Wolf to the corner and gets on all fours. Joey launches himself off with a seated senton, but Wolf moves and Joey crotches himself on the top rope. He blocks a lariat from Mayse and knees him in the midsection. He lifts him, and he and Anubis hit their brainbuster/big boot combo. Wolf goes up with Joey as Anubis ascends an adjacent corner, and they give him the Dog Catcher. Anubis turns him over and covers for the three count.)

Winners: The Killer Kanines

David: The Kanines are stronger than ever, and what an impressive victory.

Dick: It has not been a good week for either Alan or Joey, and it's probably going to get worse once they talk to Nykk about this match.

(Backstage, Bryan Danielson is getting some food from catering when Austin Lee enters. Bryan shakes his hand.)

Danielson: Austin, how are you doing?

Austin: Doing well, Bryan. Hungry much?

Danielson: Champ's got to eat. I'm not in action tonight, but you never know when my next defense is going to be.

Austin: That's what I wanted to talk to you about, actually. I'm sure you heard what Nykk said. Kevin really wants at him, and he'll get him if you agree to put the title on the line against Ronin Fox at End of the Line as part of the best of five series.

Danielson: Fox is a very persistent man, and you know what? Three months ago I beat him for the World Title. Ever since then, he's been complaining about how he wasn't really knocked out, his arms were just numb and he couldn't raise them. Well, I'm going to take you up on that offer, because it would give me great pleasure to prove to Fox once and for all that I am the better man at End of the Line. Maybe that match should have continued, I can't really say for sure, but I plan on silencing all doubts when I beat him clean and prove that I am the most deserving man in the world to hold this title. And if I didn't knock him out before, that's a mistake I will not make twice. This time I'll make sure he doesn't even remember the end of the match.

Austin: Excellent, excellent. And maybe after this House of Lords business is finished, you wouldn't mind giving me a shot at being the best.

Danielson: (laughs) We'll see, man. I'm going to get back to eating. If you would kindly deliver my message to Nykk, we'll be even closer to driving that final nail in the coffin of the House of Lords.

Austin: You've got it, mate.

(Austin leaves.)

(Commercial Break)

(Backstage, the Pyro Twins are on a rampage. They're tearing up catering, and Dusty dumps the table on its end. Jay has a chair and is swinging it at officials, who are running for their lives. Bill Bicknell approaches them with a microphone.)

Bill: Jay, Dusty, what are you doing!?

Jay: Katie Piehl won't give us a rematch with Delirious and Sydal after we were screwed by the Briscoes? This is on her head.

(Dusty hits Bill from behind, and he goes down. Jay kicks him in the ribs, and then Dusty punts him in the face. He lights his Zippo, but before he can light Bill on fire, Daizee Haze runs over and jumps on Dusty's back. He throws her off, and she backs up against the wall.)

Daizee: What the hell is wrong with you?

Jay: Wrong place, wrong time, little girl.

(Jay grabs her by the hair, and Dusty lights his Zippo again. He tries to put it in her face, but the Briscoes suddenly attack from the side, and they brawl out into the hallway.)

(In the arena, "On the Speedway" hits and Jamie Chan makes his way to the ring.)

David: The Pyro Twins are incensed that they have been denied a rematch for the tag titles, and it really was thanks to the Briscoes that Delirious and Sydal were able to pin the Pyro Twins at No Regrets. And thank goodness the Briscoes intervened back there before they could do anything to Daizee Haze!

Dick: If not the Pyro Twins, then who will be the next challengers for the tag team titles?

("At the End of the Rainbow" hits and Kevin Stone makes his way to the ring.)

David: Kevin Stone has what he wants, and that's a match with Nykk at End of the Line.

Dick: It was nearly two years ago that Kevin Stone beat Nykk for the MECCA Championship, but now it's all about revenge for Nykk's betrayal earlier this year.

(FINISH: Stone floors Chan with a big boot, but Nykk comes out and gets on the apron. Stone goes after him, but the ref separates them. As Nykk distracts the ref, Chan goes under the ring and gets a kendo stick. He cracks Stone over the head with it, and then uses it to hook him by the throat and gives him a lung blower. He rolls up Stone and puts his feet on the ropes to get the three count.)

Winner: Jamie Chan

David: Chan has stolen one thanks to Nykk, and he must be getting desperate if he's resorting to tactics like this after the big deal he made about taking on the best MECCA has to offer.

(Nykk laughs as Chan beats down Stone with the kendo stick. Nykk tells him to finish it, and Chan cracks Stone across the face, breaking the kendo stick in half. Officials run down to pull Chan off.)

David: Chan has laid out the MECCA Monster, and that just makes it all the better for Nykk, who faces Stone in three weeks!

Dick: Nykk wants to make sure that he has all the advantages he can going into this best of five series, because he has the opportunity to get rid of Katie Piehl once and for all and regain full control of MECCA.

David: We'll be back in just a bit with our main event, as Austin Lee takes on Cynric.

(Commercial Break)

(Backstage, Anubis is walking down the hallway when he encounters John Walters.)

Walters: Hey Anubis, I guess you and your partner must have really felt that loss we gave you, huh? I mean, tonight's the first time I've seen you two team in forever.

Anubis: What in the hell do you mean by that?

Walters: What I mean is that we ran you two out of the tag team division, and now you're going after singles gold. Well, guess what?

(Matt Stryker comes in and nails Anubis from behind with a chair. He goes down, and he and Walters start stomping on Anubis. Stryker hits him over the head with the chair.)

Stryker: You tell your partner that we're coming after his belt! When we dominate him once again, where will you both run to this time?

(He throws down the chair and he and Walters exit.)

(In the office, Katie Piehl is standing in front of the desk.)

Katie: Fans, it's that time of year again for MECCA's annual tournament, and this year will be a much quicker version than we've done in previous years. 2007 has seen the men and women's divisions of MECCA work together better than ever before to provide you all with the best product possible, and I think it's fitting that this year they both get to participate. So this year MECCA will present the Mixed Tag League. Eight teams will compete in a single elimination tournament, which is open to anyone on the MECCA roster. The winners of the tournament will be granted any title match of their choice in the future. Should a current champion enter and win, they have their choice of taking a future title shot or banning any one member of the roster from challenging for their title for as long as they hold it. It all starts on December 19, so I urge you all to join us for the Mixed Tag League!

(In the arena, "Soul Creation" hits and Cynric makes his way to the ring.)

David: The Mixed Tag League starts on December 19, but now it's time for our main event as Cynric, who came within a hair of unseating Bryan Danielson at No Regrets, wants to keep himself in the title picture.

Dick: What a contest that was, but in the end Bryan Danielson retained the MECCA Championship. Now the Chief Assassin wants to prove once and for all that he is of championship caliber.

("The Way I Am" hits and Austin Lee makes his way to the ring.)

David: It was Austin Lee who made the challenge earlier, and his MECCA loyalists will battle the House of Lords in a best of five series at End of the Line. Already we know that Bryan Danielson will defend the MECCA Championship against Ronin Fox, and Kevin Stone will take on Nykk.

Dick: It remains to be seen what involvement Austin Lee will have, but he definitely has a huge grudge against the House of Lords.

(FINISH: Cynric crotches Lee on the top turnbuckle and goes for the Shock Cannon, but Austin slips out into a neckbreaker. He gets to his feet and gives Cynric the Rerun Neckbreaker, covering for a two count. He whips Cynric into the corner and charges, but Cynric gets his feet up. He goes to the second rope and tries a front kick, but Lee moves out of the way. Cynric lands on his feet, but gets folded up with a lariat. Lee gives him the Degenerate Driver and covers for the three count.)

Winner: Austin Lee

David: Lee wins it, and MECCA is looking stronger than ever heading into End of the Line on December 15!

Dick: Will Nykk regain all his power, or will Katie Piehl take it all away? I can't wait to find out what the rest of the matches are.

David: Please join us next week as we take one step closer to the final showdown at End of the Line!
