("Neocon" opening.)
David: MECCA has come to Greenville, South Carolina, and we have a huge tag team main event for you tonight. The participants in the World Title Match at Scared Stiff, Bryan Danielson and Eddie Crowe, will team up to face Ronin Fox and Nykk! I'm David Mills, as always joined by Dick Broccoli.
Dick: Not only that, but a rematch has been made from At Your Own Risk. Lisa Letty will attempt to regain the Ladies' Title from Shelirious right here tonight.
David: We'll also hear the official announcement of this year's Stiff Strike Challenge for Scared Stiff straight from the executor of MECCA, Katie Piehl, plus much more action for your Wednesday night wrestling quota.
("Serve the Shame" hits and Lisa Letty makes her way to the ring.)
David: Lisa Letty wasted no time in getting this match, especially after last week's events, where the House of Lords lost another of their titles when the team of Matt Sydal and Delirious beat the Pyro Twins for the Tag Team Championship.
Dick: The First Lady of MECCA wants the title back, and when your boyfriend is the boss, I guess it makes it much easier to get a rematch for a title you feel you lost unfairly than if you're, say, Eddie Crowe.
("Sacrament of Wilderness" by Nightwish hits and Shelirious makes her way to the ring.)
David: Shelirious made her debut at At Your Own Risk as Delirious's partner, obviously, but she has some very familiar moves that cause some to speculate that it is in fact Daizee Haze under the mask.
Dick: I think it's pretty clear that it's Daizee Haze, but this just serves to further infuriate Lisa Letty and the House of Lords, because they can't prove it.
(FINISH: Shelirious goes for the Mind Trip, but Lisa swats her away and forearms her from behind. She whips Shelirious into the corner and charges, but Shelirious moves and hits the Neverending Story Clothesline on Lisa. She falls to the mat, and Shelirious backs up and hits the Panic Attack. She goes up for Shadows Over Hell, but Lisa moves. Lisa says now is the time, and she tries to take Shelirious's mask off. However, this allows Shelirious to take her over with a victory roll for the three count.)
Winner: Shelirious
David: Shelirious did it again after Lisa got too wrapped up in unmasking her, and is still the Ladies' Champion!
Dick: Lisa blew it big time for herself and the House of Lords, and you can bet they're all going to be keeping an eye on Cynric's No DQ Toughman Title defense later on, since he's their only titleholder left.
(Backstage, Bryan Danielson is getting a drink of water when he comes across Nykk and Ronin Fox.)
Nykk: Easy, Dragon. We're not here to fight. We're here to issue a warning.
Danielson: Yeah, I already know. Don't mess with the House of Lords because we'll run right through you until you have no choice but to give one of us a title shot, right?
Fox: No... well, yes, but that's not why we're here. Rest assured, I will have my title back sooner or later, and I'll do it with the help of our newest member.
Nykk: Yeah, we're real close to making a deal with none other than the man you can't beat, Eddie Crowe. And when he joins the House of Lords, he's going right to Scared Stiff to take that belt back for us, and there's nothing you'll be able to do to stop him.
Danielson: You think I should believe you when you say that?
Fox: Believe it or not, it's up to you, because it's your title to lose. But we have never been shy about our goals; we want to dominate MECCA, and to do that, we need dominating men and women who will help us fulfill that goal, and despite our differences, we believe that Eddie Crowe has what it takes.
Nykk: And Danielson, you shouldn't be asking yourself if you can believe us. You should be asking yourself... can you afford not to believe us? See you in the tag match later.
(Nykk and Fox leave, as Danielson looks a little doubtful.)
(Commercial Break)
(In the arena, "Problems" hits and Andy Nathans and Jack Fletcher make their way to the ring.)
David: We're back on Go Time, and what news before the break. Have Nykk and Fox really come to terms with Eddie Crowe to join the House of Lords?
Dick: I would never have thought so, but you never know. Who would have ever expected Alan Mayse to join up with them, and remember, he was a partner of Danielson as well before turning on him to announce his alliance.
("Lava" hits and the Surgeons make their way to the ring, along with Medea Knight.)
David: Right now the Surgeons will take on the UKWC, and it looks as if Medea Knight has returned to be in the corner of her men after taking a nasty spill through a table at At Your Own Risk.
Dick: Medea's one tough customer despite just being a manager, and as Walters and Stryker said last week, now they can be focused on winning the MECCA Tag Team Championship.
(FINISH: The UKWC go for the Wrecking Ball, but Medea trips Nathans from the outside. He goes over to jaw with her, but Stryker hits him from behind with a high knee, sending him through the ropes. Fletcher hits Stryker with a flying forearm and then lifts him for the Union Jack. Stryker escapes and elevates Fletcher on his shoulders. Walters gets up and they hit the Human Error, and Walters covers for the three count.)
Winners: The Surgeons
David: Huge win for the Surgeons, and this definitely cements their claim to the next title shot, I'd say.
Dick: They want to step up and go for the titles once again, and I would say they're the strongest they've ever been as a team with Medea managing them.
David: Up next, the Toughman Title will be on the line in a No DQ Match. Cynric defends against Anubis when we return!
(In the office, Katie Piehl is dialing on her cell phone when Lisa Letty and Shadow bust in.)
Lisa: Just what the hell is going on around here, Katie?
Katie: Hold on a minute, please.
(Lisa takes the cell phone and throws it against the wall.)
Lisa: We've got to talk now. This is getting so ridiculous. We all know that Shelirious is really Daizee Haze, but she's parading around like a freak with the title belt that I made! I want her in the ring again, no masks, no tassles, just me and her for the title.
Katie: In case you didn't notice, I was a little busy when you came in. As a result of what your boyfriend said earlier, I've been trying to contact Eddie Crowe to hear from his own lips that he's refuting the claim that he wants to join the House of Lords. But if you want to barge in here and interrupt my business, how about this? I'm not giving you another title match. You had your rematch and you failed to beat Shelirious once again.
Lisa: Wait a minute...
Katie: Just like you banned Daizee from having anymore rematches with you, I'm banning you. So unless you find a mask somewhere...
Shadow: Katie!
Katie: What?
Shadow: I think it's only fair that since Lisa has gotten her shot, I should get mine. I want the next title match with Shelirious. I'm going to bring that belt home to the House of Lords where it belongs.
(Lisa glares at her.)
Katie: I vowed I wouldn't let the House of Lords anywhere near title matches if I could possibly help it, but it's plain to see that you getting a title shot would distress your buddy here, so I'll think about it. Goodbye. Both of you, out.
(Shadow leaves, as Lisa continues to glare at her, before following her out.)
(Commercial Break)
(In the arena, "Kobrakai" hits and Anubis makes his way to the ring.)
David: It's time for our No DQ Toughman Title Match, and Anubis looks ready to win his first MECCA singles title.
Dick: The big man came close last week but for a blatant chairshot from Cynric, but that only served to make Katie Piehl sign a rematch this week, this time with no disqualifications.
("Soul Creation" hits and Cynric makes his way to the ring, carrying a bo.)
David: The Toughman Champion is coming prepared, and of course we all know the martial arts prowess of Cynric, the Chief Assassin of the House of Lords.
Dick: You can pretty much double that when you bring weapons into the equation, and even a man the size of Anubis should be careful out here in this environment.
(FINISH: The fight spills out into the crowd, where Anubis backdrops Cynric onto the concrete. However, when he picks him up, Cynric headbutts him below the belt. Cynric gets on top of the bleachers and dives onto Anubis, taking out a row of chairs. Cynric rams Anubis's head into some chairs, but Anubis gets a double leg takedown and gets Cynric in a giant swing, swinging him into the surrounding chairs before dropping him on the floor. He retrieves Cynric's bo and strikes a martial arts pose, waiting for Cynric to get up, but instead just starts beating him over the back with the bo. Cynric finally manages to catch his arm on one swing and give him a thrust to the throat. Cynric grabs the bo and charges Anubis, rolling over his back, but Anubis quickly spears Cynric into the guardrail, collapsing it. He rolls him back into the ring and goes up for the Sphinx Splash, but Ronin Fox runs out. He pushes Anubis off the turnbuckles, crotching him on the top rope. He unties the top turnbuckle pad as Cynric gets a chair and whacks Anubis over the head with it. Anubis gets off the ropes, and Fox tries a Tail End. Anubis just dumps him over the top rope and Fox hits the floor. However, Cynric gives Anubis a sunset flip and segues into a slingshot, sending Anubis face first into the exposed turnbuckle. Cynric rolls over into a jackknife pin, and Fox holds his legs down from the outside, allowing Cynric to get the three count.)
Winner: Cynric
David: I don't believe it. After all that, thanks to Ronin Fox, Cynric is still the Toughman Champion.
Dick: The Toughman Title is the only belt the House of Lords has left, and you can be certain they're going to do whatever it takes to keep it.
(Fox and Cynric continue the beatdown on Anubis, and Fox asks Cynric if he can get him up for the Dead End. Cynric obliges and puts Anubis on his shoulders. Fox goes up top, but the Wild Wolf runs out. He shoves Fox off the top rope, and he dives right into Cynric, headbutting him in the midsection. Anubis rolls backward to his feet and gives Cynric an ocean cyclone throw from behind, dumping him right on his head. Fox and Cynric roll out of the ring as Anubis collapses and Wolf tends to him.)
David: Thank goodness for Anubis's partner, the Wild Wolf, who wasn't going to stand by and let any further double teaming happen.
Dick: What a wild match that was, and if Anubis doesn't have singles gold now, I'll say right now that he will get some someday.
David: We'll be back with more MECCA action.
(Backstage, Bill Bicknell is standing by with Delirious and Matt Sydal.)
Bill: I'm here with the brand new tag team champs as of last week, Delirious and Matt Sydal. Guys, congratulations, but you have to admit that your win was due to the right circumstances, and now you have to prove yourselves by defending those belts successfully.
Delirious: Adebeash, conotabuleoh intaki Delirious baleaoba Matt Sydal, inkiniminash dodo hetamanee!
Bill: I... I don't...
(Sydal takes the mic.)
Sydal: Listen, Bill, this is all you need to know. Delirious and I may not have the experience factor as a team, but we've got a lot of heart, a lot of potential, and now that we're the MECCA Tag Team Champions, we're ready to prove ourselves, because it's been our dream to hold gold in MECCA. I just never expected it would be the two of us doing it together. And now our dream is to prove that we're worthy, that we're no flash in the pan. So whether it's the Briscoes, the Pyro Twins, the Surgeons or anyone else who wants a shot, no one expected it would be us to win these belts, so our calendar is wide open.
(The Surgeons and Medea Knight enter.)
Medea: Excuse me, I couldn't help but overhear my clients' name as I stood over there watching you talk, Matt Sydal. If you say your calendar is wide open, then I'm going to take you up on that. The Surgeons are ready to achieve their destiny here in MECCA by winning those tag team belts, and at Scared Stiff, I think the time is right to get our shot at the titles.
Sydal: You want a title shot at Scared Stiff? How appropriate, because I don't think I've ever met two bigger stiffs than you two. First shot at the title is yours, but I warn you not to underestimate us. It cost the Pyro Twins, who have their reputation to fall back on. But it will cost you three a whole lot more.
(The Surgeons stare down Delirious and Sydal.)
(Commercial Break)
(In the office, Katie Piehl is standing in front of her desk.)
Katie: Hello once again, fans. I am the executor of MECCA, Katie Piehl, here to officially announce that the third annual Stiff Strike Challenge will take place at Scared Stiff, live on pay-per-view on October 27. As is tradition, no one is assigned to this match, and instead we ask for volunteers from the locker room. And with that in mind, I want to bring in the man who wishes to volunteer first, none other than the MECCA Monster himself, Kevin Stone.
(Kevin Stone enters.)
Stone: That's right, the MECCA Monster is coming back to his match. You know, I've been in the past two Stiff Strike Challenges, and not only that, I've won both of them. I plan on making it three in a row this year, so I want to be the first man to throw my name in the ring for this chance.
(Nykk enters.)
Nykk: Wait a minute, wait a minute. Kevin Stone, if you want to enter this match again that's fine, but there is no way I'm letting you win it again. Katie, I'm the second participant in the Stiff Strike Challenge. Put it down on paper, do what you have to do, because two years ago, you were able to ride that victory to a shot at MY title, Stone. This time, since the House of Lords is being discriminated against by the likes of you Katie, I plan to win this match and ride that victory all the way back to a title shot, and maybe we can right this wrong that's been two years in the making.
Stone: You, the guy who has never beaten me, thinks he's going to win my match? Nykk, I look forward to this. After you betrayed the trust I put in you earlier this year, I think it's high time that you got your receipt. See you in Nashville.
(In the arena, "Pajamarama" hits and Huh makes his way to the ring.)
David: We have our first two participants for the Stiff Strike Challenge, and they are Kevin Stone and Nykk, and this is already shaping up to be great.
Dick: Right now Huh is out here and ready for singles action. I can't see any House of Lords members caring enough to interfere in this one, though.
("The Way I Am" hits and Austin Lee makes his way to the ring.)
David: Austin Lee has been given a bit of a placeholder tonight by the House of Lords. They're so busy with guys like Bryan Danielson, the Killer Kanines and the Briscoes, they want nothing to do with Nykk's nemesis from the days of RCW.
Dick: No shortage of enemies for the House of Lords, but I think Austin Lee is going to make his presence felt sooner rather than later.
(FINISH: Huh goes for an avalanche, but Austin gets his foot up. Huh charges again, but Austin doubles him over with a kick to the midsection this time. He goes for the Degenerate Driver, but Huh counters with a backdrop. Austin rolls through and hoists Huh up into the air, hitting the Degenerate Driver. He covers and gets the three count.)
Winner: Austin Lee
David: Austin Lee made fairly short work of the portly lackey of the House of Lords, and he definitely has bigger fish to fry.
Dick: Thanks to the effort of Austin Lee and others, the odds have been even against the House of Lords for some weeks and they lost two of their titles, but you have to wonder when Austin is going to start wondering when he's going to get a title shot of some kind.
David: We'll be back with our main event as Nykk and Ronin Fox take on Bryan Danielson and Eddie Crowe. Is there any truth to what Nykk and Fox said about buying off Eddie? Maybe we'll find out next!
(Commercial Break)
(Backstage, the Pyro Twins have found a stray camera.)
Jay: Hey, this is the Pyro Twins, and we just want everyone to know that someone's gonna burn for what happened last week! Delirious, Sydal, you've got our titles and we're coming to get them back!
Dusty: It's quite simple. You hold our titles, and we hold your lives in our hands. A fair trade is in order, if you ask me. I don't care who we have to destroy, those belts are coming back to us and...
(The Briscoes enter.)
Jay Briscoe: Did I just hear you boys say those tag titles belong to you? We were all set to take those belts, but you had to go and lose them before we could. As far as I'm concerned, it's high time you accepted our challenge for a straight tag match. Before we win those belts ourselves, we want to prove we're the best team in the world.
Mark: You two ain't nothin' but flame retarded bastards, and we say you step into the ring with us at Scared Stiff so we can roll over you like we roll over everyone else.
Jay Crowe: Pyros vs. Briscoes at Scared Stiff? Yeah, why not? Bring it on, Briscoes, because I know you've seen what happens to teams who raise our ire, and it's thanks to us focusing on you that Delirious and Sydal were able to run off with out titles to begin with. So yeah, bring it to Nashville at Scared Stiff, bring it!
Jay Briscoe: Yeah we'll be there, you just get ready to man up, boys!
Dusty: We'll see who mans up, and who goes up in flames...
Mark: Man up, flamers!
Jay Crowe: We'll see who mans up...
Jay Briscoe: Man up for Scared Stiff, bitches!
Dusty: Shut up!
Mark: Man up!
(The Briscoes leave.)
Jay Crowe: Yeah, we'll see. We'll see!
(Elsewhere, Bill Bicknell is standing by with the Killer Kanines.)
Bill: Anubis, tonight you didn't win the Toughman Title after coming so close, thanks to the interference of Ronin Fox. I hear you guys have a message for Fox and Cynric.
Anubis: First of all, if it hadn't been for my partner, I might not be standing here right now. Cynric, sooner or later you're going to get yours, if not from me, from the Wild Wolf. But Fox, you and I have an issue now and next week we plan to settle it.
Wolf: We want a tag team match with Fox and Cynric next week on Go Time, and if it happens, you're going to see the Killer Kanines get back on track. And as for Scared Stiff, we've got some challenges to issue as well, but we'll have to wait for later. Fox, Cynric, accept our challenge next week if you've got the guts to be face to face with us and not when our backs our turned.
(In the arena, "Third Reich from the Sun" hits and Nykk and Ronin Fox make their way to the ring.)
David: The Killer Kanines are pissed about what happened earlier, and who can blame them? Fox had no business out there, and it was just to save his brother's title that he even got involved.
Dick: Right now it's time for the main event, as Nykk and Fox team up once again. These two have been quite busy all night, and I'm glad they could fit this match into their tight schedules between interfering in matches and causing dissension in the locker room.
("Noots" hits and Eddie Crowe makes his way to the ring.)
David: Eddie Crowe gets his long awaited title match on October 27 at Scared Stiff, but the House of Lords, angry that it's not one of their members in there, have been trying to say they have Eddie in their pocket.
Dick: The scary thing is, you just don't know anymore. There's no reason to question Eddie's integrity, but no one would have expected a guy like Alan Mayse to join up with the House of Lords, but he's in there as well. And if Eddie has indeed joined up, the odds are going to be stacked against our World Champion at Scared Stiff.
("The Final Countdown" hits and Bryan Danielson makes his way to the ring.)
David: The American Dragon finally fulfilled his goal by becoming World Champion, but just how long will he be able to hold that title? Even if Eddie hasn't joined the House of Lords, he still poses a major threat to Danielson's title reign.
Dick: And you know that Danielson is having flashbacks to the tag match last month where Alan turned on him, and he and Eddie have never really been cozy to begin with. Of course, no one will ever forget the classics they had last year at Summertime Showdown and New Year's Knockout.
(FINISH: Danielson shows distrust of Eddie throughout the match, often refusing a double team if it means turning his back. At the end of the match, Danielson tries to hit Nykk with his flurry of elbows, but Nykk powers his way to his feet and slips behind Danielson. He goes for the Trinity and hits the back suplex, but Danielson does a standing switch on the German and hits one of his own, bridging. Fox breaks it up at two, but a flying forearm from Eddie sends him from the ring. Eddie takes down Fox with a springboard plancha as Danielson tries to put Nykk in Cattle Mutilation. Nykk escapes and kicks Danielson, hitting a tiger slam and going for the Cedarleaf. Danielson pushes Nykk's head forward and counters into a sunset flip for two, but when Nykk kicks out he spins around on him and applies Cattle Mutilation. Eddie gets on the apron and tags Danielson's foot. He jumps to the second rope and goes for the Eddie Dive. Danielson moves out of the way and Eddie nails Nykk with the move. He turns him over and covers for the three count.)
Winners: Eddie Crowe and Bryan Danielson
David: Crowe and Danielson win it, but was Eddie going for his dive in order to hit Nykk or Danielson? Danielson didn't look like he knew that was coming at all.
Dick: I don't know, but Dragon looks confused, as he had Nykk right where he wanted him in any case.
(Eddie gets a mic.)
Eddie: Bryan Danielson, I know you have no love for me. And I don't owe it to you to explain my actions, but I feel I do owe it to my fans. I hope that by pinning Nykk right here, all of you believe me when I say that I have nothing, and never will have anything to do with the House of Lords! My goal is simply to be the World Champion, and I've already proven that I don't need help to do that. But I also realize that Nykk is smarter than a lot of people give him credit for, and if he did indeed acquire me, why would he tip his hand tonight? To sow distrust between us, certainly. But as we saw when Joey Sprinklers joined when he was Toughman Champion, he is not above acquiring people that are already title holders here in MECCA. And I can't help but ask myself if that's what's going on between the lines here. I guess what I'm trying to say is, if you can't trust me, then I can't trust you. And I know I'm not a part of the House of Lords, so how can I be sure that you're not the one who's really joining?
(Danielson looks incredulous at the accusation and swats the mic out of Eddie's hands. They have words in the middle of the ring.)
David: Eddie has a good point, as Nykk has been known to pull a few tricks in the past. And Eddie has a shady history as well as Danielson. That's all the time we have this week, fans. Maybe we'll find out something next week. Just who can we trust?
