David: MECCA has made its way to Detroit, Michigan, and welcome to Go Time, everybody! I'm David Mills, alongside Dick Broccoli, and we are just ten days away from Summertime Showdown on pay-per-view. And tonight in the main event, the UK Wrecking Crew vs. House of Lords war rages on as Nykk teams with the World Champion Ronin Fox to take on Andy Nathans and Jack Fletcher!
Dick: And also, Alan Mayse prepares for his World Title match against Fox at Summertime Showdown tonight when he takes on the man who took the Toughman Title from him in February, Joey Sprinklers.
David: We'll also see Trent Acid attempt to get a shot at the World Title by taking on Kevin Stone, the Briscoes will be in action and much more tonight.
("Mercedes" hits and Mercedes Martinez makes her way to the ring.)
David: The ladies of MECCA are set for action here in our opening contest, and this will be a Triangle Match.
Dick: Mercedes Martinez is a relative newcomer here in MECCA, and with the big Lisa Letty/Daizee Haze match quickly approaching, the ladies are positioning themselves to go after the title.
David: If that match even happens, as we understand Lisa suffered a serious knee injury in the tag match last week, but more on that later.
("Drop Dead Gorgeous" hits and Magenta makes her way to the ring.)
David: We haven't seen a lot of Magenta here on Go Time, but she is a regular tag team partner and friend of Coquette, and can be seen on our Internet show Rundown, which will not be playing this month due to some revamping being done.
Dick: Magenta needs to start getting some wins, and maybe she can be on the main show more often. This is a great opportunity for this young lady.
("Dance Commander" hits and Heather Star makes her way to the ring.)
David: Heavenly Heather Star has been in MECCA the longest out of these women, and she's always looking to move up the rankings.
Dick: If she gets a win here, she gets a shot at the upper echelon of women like Shadow, or Daizee, or Sara Del Rey.
(FINISH: Heather goes for the Falling Star Press on Mercedes, but she moves out of the way. Magenta dropkicks Heather in the head, and she goes through the ropes to the outside. Magenta chops away at Martinez and tries to whip her into the ropes, but Mercedes reverses and kicks her in the midsection. She hits the Fisherman's Buster and covers for the three count.)
Winner: Mercedes Martinez
David: Mercedes is a definite contender, as she just proved. What a win for the Latina Sensation.
Dick: I would love to see how Mercedes Martinez would fare against our Ladies' Champion. And it could definitely happen sometime soon.
David: We'll have tag team action when we come back, as the Briscoes take on Delirious and the Human Tornado!
(Backstage, Bill Bicknell is with Alan Mayse.)
Bill: Alan, we're just ten days away from Summertime Showdown where you will get a shot at Ronin Fox's World Title. How is the training going? Are you going to be ready for Dayton on August 25?
Alan: The training is going real well, and in my hometown, Fox, I will be walking out finally with that World Title. But tonight, I've got Joey Sprinklers. Joey, you tricked me out of the Toughman Title back at Bloody Valentine, the title that I built, that I held very dear, that I was only days away from breaking my previous title record. You took all that away from me, but at Summertime Showdown, I'll take so much more away from your group. When I step into the...
(Nykk, Ronin Fox and Joey Sprinklers enter.)
Fox: Wait a minute, Alan, wait. Yeah, you and me will meet in Dayton for this title, but don't get me wrong. I'm not here to fight. As a matter of fact, a couple of weeks ago I made an offer to you to join the House of Lords. Now I know that goes against every instinct you have, but look at me. It went against every instinct I had to work with Nykk, and now I have this belt.
Alan: You're really out of your mind, Fox. You never give up.
(Alan walks away.)
Nykk: Did he just walk away from us? Nobody walks away from us. He will join us, or he will pay the price. Joey, last week you and Huh actually did something right for once, and even though it was Jay and Dusty who did the damage, you two took it to Eddie Crowe and managed to put him out of action for a while. I want to see more of that fire, that passion, that competence, tonight against Alan. Think you can do it?
Joey: Hey, don't youse guys remember I beat him twice before? Tonight's no different.
(Commercial Break)
(In the arena, "Cool" hits and the Human Tornado and Delirious make their way to the ring.)
David: It's time for some tag team action here on Go Time as the Human Tornado and Delirious prepare to get rowdy here in Detroit.
Dick: Tornado and Delirious haven't teamed in a while, so let's see if any rust shows on their side.
("Gimme Back My Bullets" hits and the Briscoes make their way to the ring.)
David: They'll have to be at the top of their game to contend with the Briscoes, who made their MECCA debuts a couple of weeks ago.
Dick: They've been making waves already, getting in the faces of Danielson and Stone last week. They've come to MECCA with a mission, and that's to win gold.
(FINISH: The Briscoes give Tornado their super flapjack, but Delirious comes off the top rope with a dropkick to the back of Mark. He goes for the Panic Attack, but Jay cuts him off with a running forearm. He puts Delirious on his shoulders, and Mark goes for the springboard Doomsday Device, but Delirious ducks and rolls Jay up with a victory roll, but Delirious isn't legal. Tornado springboards in with a dropkick on Mark, and then gives Jay a spin kick. Delirious puts Mark on his shoulders, and Tornado goes for another springboard dropkick, but Jay clips Delirious's knee, and Tornado crashes to the mat. Jay gives Tornado the Jay Driller and covers for the three count.)
Winners: The Briscoes
David: The Briscoes win another one, this time over an established team. Jay and Mark are making a statement here on Go Time.
(As the Briscoes leave, the Pyro Twins walk past them and get in the ring. They throw Tornado over the top rope and then start putting the boots to Delirious. Dusty gives him the Rope Burn I, and then goes to the top rope. Jay gives Delirious a backbreaker, and Dusty comes off the top with the Mandate of Heaven.)
David: The Pyro Twins have just assaulted Delirious, and I bet this has something to do with Delirious giving Fox a run for his money last week.
Dick: The House of Lords want to make sure that Delirious knows his place on the food chain, and of course the Pyro Twins are ever the effective enforcers.
David: We'll be back with Alan Mayse vs. Joey Sprinklers!
(Dusty and Jay slap Delirious around as the Briscoes watch them intently from the stage.)
(Katie Piehl is in her office when there's a knock at the door, and Daizee Haze and Sara Del Rey enter.)
Katie: Hello, ladies. What can I do for you?
Del Rey: Ms. Piehl, we just came to ask how Lisa Letty's doing after last week. We didn't mean for her to get hurt the way she did, and it looked pretty bad.
Katie: Well, I haven't gotten any of the medical information yet, since Nykk seems to be handling all of that and hasn't shared anything with me. But from the way he tells it, there was some severe damage to the meniscus, and she could be out for quite some time.
Daizee: I hate to sound selfish at a time like this, but what about my title shot at Summertime Showdown?
Katie: I would assume for the time being that it's still on unless Nykk or Lisa say otherwise. Don't worry, if it comes out that she'll be out for a considerable period of time, I'll have to vacate the title and you'll be sure to be one of the top contenders, Daizee. I'm sure Shadow would love another chance too, and you, Sara, would be welcome to throw your hat in as well.
Del Rey: Speaking of Shadow, if the Ladies' Title match at Summertime Showdown does go off as planned, what's to keep her from interfering, especially if Lisa's injured? The other reason I came in here was to ask you for a rematch with Shadow on the PPV, to keep her busy.
Katie: That's actually a very good idea, and I'll make the match right away. See if you can throw her from pillar to post again. I liked that.
Sara: I'll see what I can do. Thank you, Ms. Piehl.
(Sara and Daizee leave.)

(Backstage, Bill Bicknell is with the Killer Kanines.)
Bill: Kanines, we heard it last week. Katie Piehl has given you another match with the Surgeons, this time at Summertime Showdown. Are you looking forward to getting your hands on Walters, Stryker, and possibly Medea Knight?
Wolf: That's a bit of an understatement, but you don't have the full story, Bill. Yes, Katie Piehl made that match last week, but it was not at Medea's request. It was at our request. And at Summertime Showdown, not only will we be facing the Surgeons, it will be under relaxed rules.
Anubis: All of our anger, all of our frustration, it all comes out in Dayton, and Medea, we haven't forgotten how you betrayed us after we rescued you from the David Caldwell Project all those months ago. Stryker, Walters, your days are numbered and after we beat you two once again, we'll see about getting those tag titles back.
(In the arena, "Hit That" hits and Joey Sprinklers skateboards his way to the ring.)
David: The Killer Kanines will be going against the Surgeons with relaxed rules in just ten days at Summertime Showdown, but now we're set for a big grudge match.
Dick: Joey Sprinklers of the House of Lords has been sent to do some policeman work by Ronin Fox, and he just seems happy to get this chance.
("Seven Nation Army" hits and Alan Mayse makes his way to the ring.)
David: Alan hasn't forgotten that it was Joey who dethroned him of the Toughman Title in dishonorable fashion at Bloody Valentine, and again used those dirty tactics to hang onto the belt when they did battle at the MECCA Challenge III.
Dick: This is a chance at redemption for Alan, to finally beat Joey soundly in the middle of the ring.
(FINISH: Joey goes for a high cross body off the top, but Alan catches him with a dropkick and then an exploder suplex. He goes for the Tiger Bomb, but Joey backdrops Alan and bounces off the ropes, hitting a flying elbow. He goes for Da Sprinklanator, but Alan knees him in the head and then hits the Tiger Bomb, getting the three count.)
Winner: Alan Mayse
David: Alan Mayse wins a fast-paced contest, and now has the momentum he needs to go to Summertime Showdown and fulfill his destiny at becoming the MECCA World Champion.
Dick: What a match it will be when Alan takes on Ronin Fox.

(Backstage, Bill Bicknell is standing by with Jack Fletcher and Andy Nathans.)
Bill: I'm here with Andy Nathans and Jack Fletcher of the UK Wrecking Crew, and guys, later tonight you take on Nykk and Ronin Fox from the House of Lords. Of course, this all leads to the big eight-man tag at Summertime Showdown where you and the Lee Brothers will take on Nykk, Cynric, Huh and Joey Sprinklers.
Nathans: All roads lead to Dayton, the very site where we won our first MECCA Tag Team Championship. House of Lords, we've been saying for months that we are the best faction in MECCA today, and you insisted on trying us. You've ambushed us, you've thrown numbers at us, but we're still here. And on August 25, we end this war once and for all.
Fletcher: And tonight, Nykk, you and Fox fall to us, the men you selected for the International Invitational over two years ago, the men you never expected to beat your precious Pyro Twins and hold those tag titles for over a year. And after we're done with you, we'll just see about getting our belts back.
(In the arena, "The Chase" hits and Trent Acid makes his way to the ring.)
David: That main event is coming up later, but right now it's Trent Acid's task to get on the Contender Star if he wants to earn a future title shot.
Dick: Nykk told him he would get an opportunity if he could knock Kevin Stone off the Contender Star, and he has exactly that opportunity right now.
("At the End of the Rainbow" hits and Kevin Stone makes his way to the ring.)
David: Of course, Stone, along with his partner Bryan Danielson, have a tag title match coming up at Summertime Showdown against the Pyro Twins, but you can bet that both of those men are thinking about Fox's title in the back of their minds.
Dick: Stone has been fighting against the House of Lords from the beginning, but he needs to stay on the Contender Star if he wants another chance at Fox.
(FINISH: Stone floors Acid with a big boot and signals for the Stone Cutter. He whips Acid into the ropes and lifts him, but Acid lands on his feet and pushes Stone into the ropes. Someone trips him from outside, and Kevin turns around to pull Johnny Kashmere onto the apron. As he chokes him, Acid gives him a running knee from behind. Kashmere slumps to the floor and Acid rolls up Stone, hooking the tights for the three count.)
Winner: Trent Acid
David: Trent Acid steals one, thanks to his partner finally showing up for work again!
Dick: Johnny Kashmere is back, and Trent Acid will get an opportunity for a title shot now.
(Stone is furious, and chases Acid and Kashmere to the back.)

(Backstage, Bill Bicknell is with Kevin Stone.)
Bill: Kevin Stone, we all just saw the return of Johnny Kashmere, who helped his partner Trent Acid take your spot on the Contender Star. I understand that now you want him next week.
Stone: You're half right. I want both of those Backseat Boyz next week, and I just got off the phone with Dragon, and he's agreed that we'll take you two on next week. So Backseats, bring it on, and Acid, don't get too comfortable where you are, because I'm coming to take you down.
(Elsewhere, Nykk and Lisa Letty are having a conversation in a hallway. She is on crutches, with her knee taped up. Nykk sees the camera.)
Nykk: So this is what it comes down to, people, Lisa Letty out with an injury at the hands of Sara Del Rey and Daizee Haze. Haze, Del Rey, apparently in wrestling school you were never taught that it is not the goal of a wrestler to cripple their opponent. You should both be ashamed of yourselves.
Lisa: It breaks my heart to be sitting on the sidelines and having to watch the main event from the back tonight. Nykk won't even let me be at ringside, he's so concerned about me.
Nykk: And as for the Ladies' Title match, luckily Lisa's career is not over, but there is some doubt on whether or not her title match with Daizee will take place, and next week we'll have more news on...
(Trent Acid barges in.)
Acid: Nykk!
Lisa: You...
Acid: Hey, Lisa. Long time no sleep... I mean, see.
(Nykk advances on Acid.)
Acid: Whoa, whoa, I'm only kidding, okay? That's all in the past. I don't know if you were watching, but I did what you told me to do. I got on the Contender Star!
Nykk: Yeah, I saw it, and believe me, the House of Lords rewards those who do favors for us. And since Katie Piehl has neglected to book the last match for Summertime Showdown, it falls to my hands. So you will take on Matt Sydal in Dayton, and the winner will get a World Title shot...
(Delirious suddenly barges in, and starts spouting gibberish.)
Nykk: All right, fine, I got you, just shut up!
(Delirious chews on his tassles.)
Acid: Wait... what does he want?
Nykk: He's been hounding me for a title shot too, but in a much more annoying fashion than you. Everywhere I go, restaurants, hotel rooms, he's there, and since I'm not going to get any peace until he gets what he wants, I'll just go ahead and make that match for Summertime Showdown a Three Way Dance. You two have fun. I'm getting ready for the main event.
(He and Lisa exit, while Acid stares down Delirious, who is now staring into space. Finally, Acid gives up the intimidation attempt and walks away.)
(Commercial Break)
(In the arena, "Problems" hits and Andy Nathans and Jack Fletcher make their way to the ring, along with Nikki Chandler.)
David: It's time for our big tag team main event, as the original UKWC will see action against two members of the upper echelon of the House of Lords.
Dick: What a classic encounter this should be.
("Third Reich from the Sun" hits and Nykk and Ronin Fox make their way to the ring.)
David: The House of Lords has a crucial night coming up at Summertime Showdown, as every single one of them is signed to matches. Of course, Fox is defending the World Title against Alan Mayse, and Nykk will be heading up a team to take on the entire UK Wrecking Crew in eight-man tag action.
Dick: But we still don't know the status of Lisa Letty, and you know that the House of Lords is going to make us all wait until the last minute on that.
(FINISH: Midway through the match, Nykk ducks a clothesline from Nathans and takes out Chandler on the outside with a baseball slide. A brawl erupts between the UKWC and Nykk and Fox, who are able to get the advantage. Toward the end of the match, they are brawling on the outside when Nykk sets up a table on the floor. Nathans has Fox on the top for London Bridge is Falling Down, but Nykk intercepts him and Fox is able to escape and distracts the ref. Nykk tries to superplex Nathans through the table, but gets thrown off. He lands on the apron, and Chandler gets onto the apron and smacks him across the face. Nykk grabs her by the hair and gives her a piledriver through the table. Fletcher and Nathans pounce on Nykk, but Fox comes out to make the save. EMTs rush to the ring as Austin and Tristan Lee come out to tend to Chandler. This allows Cynric to come out and distract the ref as Joey and Huh pull Fletcher from the ring and beat him up. The Pyro Twins hit Final Darkness on Nathans, and Fox covers. The ref turns around and makes the three count.)
Winners: Nykk and Ronin Fox
David: What a sham that was! The entire House of Lords interfered, and Nykk and Fox pick up the win.
Dick: The bigger story here is Nikki Chandler, who was piledriven through that table by Nykk. Talk about injuries in the ladies' division; she could be out for good!
David: I can't believe that sickening turn of events by Nykk, who used Chandler just to distract the other members of the UKWC. Hopefully we'll have more on her condition for you next week, fans, because we're out of time. Thank you for joining us!
