("Neocon" opening.)
David: We are coming to you from across the pond here in the United Kingdom, as MECCA presents Go Time! I'm David Mills, along with Dick Broccoli, and tonight is very exciting as we make our European debut here in London.
Dick: And we already have two big title matches signed for tonight. Of course, the challenge was accepted last week as Kelly Schweickart will get her rematch against Lisa Letty for the Ladies' Championship. Also, Kevin Stone will get the shot at the Toughman Title he was promised for New Dawn, as he takes on Low Ki.
David: Plus we'll have six-man tag action as the UK Wrecking Crew return to their homeland to face the Human Tornado, Delirious and Matt Sydal!
("Take It Off" hits and Kelly Schweickart makes her way to the ring.)
David: We're kicking things off with the Ladies' Title on the line, and you have to feel for Kelly. She was screwed out of the title at New Dawn by the House of Lords, Cynric in particular, and her title reign came to an abrupt end.
Dick: Well, she now has the chance to redeem herself by regaining that title, but that's easier said than done when facing the First Lady of MECCA.
("Serve the Shame" by Drain STH hits and Lisa Letty makes her way to the ring, along with Nykk.)
David: Now what is Nykk doing out here with her? I guess he has a manager's license now, right?
Dick: They aren't even pretending to be fair anymore. Lisa said last week that she was done playing it down the middle, and I guess Nykk is out here to ensure his girlfriend keeps her title no matter what.
(FINISH: The ref sends Nykk to the back under threat of awarding the title to Kelly before the match even starts. Nykk protests, but other refs come from the back to see him off. Toward the end of the match, Lisa counters the 916 and hits a DDT off the second rope. She goes for the Letty Stretch, but Kelly stands up and backdrops Lisa. She tries a clothesline, but Lisa ducks and grabs a waistlock. Kelly sits down and takes Lisa over with a victory roll for a two count. Lisa gets up and punches Kelly in the throat. She runs for the ropes, but Kelly grabs her by the hair and pulls her back in, hitting a hardway suplex. She goes up and tries the Kelly Cyclone, but Lisa catches her on impact and turns her over, applying the Letty Stretch. Kelly tries to make it to the ropes, but Lisa manages to crabwalk back into the center of the ring, taking Kelly with her, and she finally taps out.)
Winner: Lisa Letty
David: Lisa retains her title after a hard fought contest, and there's no shame for Kelly in that one.
Dick: Absolutely not, but what a heartbreaking loss for the former champ.
(As Lisa celebrates, Kelly grabs the ropes and tries to make it to her feet. Lisa takes offense to her trying to get up while she's still in the ring and starts kicking her in the head. Kelly goes back down, and Lisa tells her to get up now. Kelly sits up and Lisa dives at her, hitting her in the head with the title belt.)
David: Come on, the match is over! What is this going to prove, Lisa?
(Gail Kim suddenly runs out and slides into the ring. Lisa tries to nail her with the belt, but Gail blocks it and sweeps Lisa's legs. She gives Lisa a legdrop, and Lisa rolls out of the ring. Kim gets a mic.)
Kim: This is what it's come down to, Lisa? Attacking people after the bell? You were one of the few to show me how wrong I was to do that back when I lived my life that way. But these days you seem to be above everything, even your own code of conduct. If it's that belt that's causing this problem, you won't need to worry for long. I was the longest reigning Ladies' Champion in MECCA history, and I think you remember well who I won that belt from. But now that I've won the Women's World Cup, I think that proved that I'm more than ready to get another shot at the Ladies' Championship. So I'll tell you what, you name the place and the date, and I'll be there to take back what's rightfully mine!
(Lisa gets back in the ring and grabs the mic.)
Lisa: You and me, for this title, and I get to name the place and date? Go screw yourself, Gail. You weren't good enough for this belt back then, and you aren't good enough now. I'm out of here.
(Lisa throws down the mic and leaves.)
David: Lisa Letty is outright refusing challenges, but I don't know, Gail makes a great case for getting another shot at the title she held for so long. We'll be right back with more MECCA action here from England!
(Commercial Break)
(In the arena, "The Chase" hits and Trent Acid makes his way to the ring.)
David: We're back on Go Time, and we've got a spot on the Contender Star on the line here as Trent Acid is without his partner tonight to do battle in singles action.
Dick: Acid has had success in singles action here in the past, and he has a great opportunity tonight.
("Body Bomb" hits and John Walters makes his way to the ring.)
David: One half of the Surgeons, John Walters has managed to get onto the Contender Star, though he has been concentrating on tag team action and hasn't really pursued a title shot as of yet.
Dick: If you don't use it, be prepared to lose it. If Walters doesn't want it, someone like Acid will definitely come knocking.
(FINISH: Acid reverses a whip into the corner and charges in with a double knee strike. Walters moves, and Acid crotches himself on the second turnbuckle. Walters hits a lungblower out of the corner and covers, but Acid gets a foot on the ropes. Walters lifts Acid for the Hurricane DDT, but Acid escapes and backslides Walters, and getting the surprise three count.)
Winner: Trent Acid
David: Acid has done it and made his way back on the Contender Star, and it will be interesting to see who gets first crack at Ronin Fox's World Title.
Dick: Nykk seems too busy putting out the fires of all the people he's pissed off to make any championship contender decisions.
David: Speaking of Nykk, Bill Bicknell is standing by with him right now.
(Backstage, Bill Bicknell is with Nykk.)
Bill: Nykk, last week the plan was for Ronin Fox and Cynric to beat the Pyro Twins and become the new number one contenders to the tag titles, but that plan kind of backfired on you. But this week we're faced with an issue of naming a number one contender to the World Title. Who will be the first man to challenge Ronin Fox?
Nykk: Who will be the first man to challenge Fox? Do you actually think I'm going to confide that information in someone like you in front of millions of people? As far as I'm concerned, the Contender Star isn't enough anymore. Any challengers have to go through my approval process as well, and I haven't made a decision yet.
Bill: Well, what about the men you put in a Toughman Title match later on, Kevin Stone and Low Ki? Either one of them would surely give Fox a run for his money.
Nykk: Ah yes, Kevin Stone, the man who took the MECCA Championship from me on December 7, 2005. You didn't think I ever forgot about that, did you, Stone? Not during 2006, not while we were teaming, did I ever forget that. And as far as I'm concerned, you were just a means to an end, and I got rid of you as soon as humanly possible. And Ki, you can have that secondary belt because we'll have it back in our camp soon enough. But you two want to unite against us, the House of Lords? Let's see how well you unite when you're facing each other on opposite sides of the ring with that title on the line. We have the World Title, so that's really all that's left for either of you. I said last week that I will not have you becoming a threat to us, and I aim to make good on that. The House of Lords is in charge now; the quicker you accept that, the less painful it will be. But if you insist on challenging our right to rule, be prepared to suffer the consequences.
(Commercial Break)
(In the arena, "At the End of the Rainbow" hits and Kevin Stone makes his way to the ring.)
David: It's time for our second title match here on Go Time, and you can bet these fans in the UK have never seen anything like a Toughman title match before.
Dick: Kevin Stone was supposed to receive this shot against Joey Sprinklers at New Dawn, but Low Ki won the belt before that event happened. Now Stone will attempt to take the title from the man he had the fight of his life against back at No Regrets, a match that changed Stone's philosophy and earned each man the other's respect.
("Fighter's Passion" hits and Low Ki makes his way to the ring.)
David: This will be Low Ki's first title defense, and as we know, there is no hierarchy or system of ranking in the Toughman division. Anyone who wants a title shot can get one, though sometimes there may be a match to determine who gets a shot if a large number of people are requesting it.
Dick: It's a tough schedule for the champ, never knowing when the title will be on the line or against who, but if anyone is up to the challenge it's Low Ki.
(FINISH: Stone hits a military press into a powerslam on Ki and decides to go to the top rope. Ki stops him with the Tidal Crush, and goes up top. He tries to superplex Stone, but Stone gives him a few shots to the ribs and sets him up for a top rope Monster Bomb. Ki counters by taking Stone back to the mat with a rolling cross armbreaker. Stone fights to keep his arm bent and manages to get to his feet. He lifts Ki off the mat while still in the armbar, but Ki lets go and lands on his feet. He gives Stone a roundhouse kick to the head that nearly knocks him out, but Stone staggers back to the ropes and bounces back with a hard lariat on Ki. The ref starts the count, and at seven both men are up. However, Nykk, Cynric, Ronin Fox, Joey Sprinklers and Huh charge the ring. They attack both Ki and Stone as the ref calls for the bell.)
Winner: No Contest
David: What in the hell is this!? The House of Lords has just ruined a great, competitive match, and this looks like it's been a setup all along.
Dick: Even Stone and Low Ki can't fight off five guys at once, especially after how worn out they must be.
(Fox and Joey hold Ki up and Cynric and Huh hold Stone up, allowing Nykk to slap both of them across the face at once. As he celebrates, the Pyro Twins suddenly run down. Nykk and Fox bail out of the ring as Huh and Joey attack Jay and Cynric trades strikes with Dusty. Jay ducks a double clothesline from Huh and Joey and takes them down with a spinning heel kick to Huh and then catches Joey with a stunner in midair. He throws Huh out of the ring as Dusty blocks a kick from Cynric and lays into him with hard right hands, followed by a knee strike and a charging shoulder block that sends Cynric through the ropes. Joey tries to escape, but the Pyro Twins catch him and throw him into the corner. Panicking, Joey charges directly at the Pyro Twins and they give him Final Darkness. Jay gets a mic as Dusty helps Stone and Ki get their bearings.)
David: The Pyro Twins have perhaps saved the careers of Low Ki and Kevin Stone, as I'm sure the House of Lords had some dastardly plan to eliminate them. These two will challenge for the MECCA Tag Team Titles very soon as a result of their victory over Fox and Cynric last week.
Jay: You know what, Nykk? You talk about coming out here and ruling over MECCA, but you forgot one thing. When it comes to the tag team division, no one rules it like the Pyro Twins! And you may have betrayed our friendship to hang out with your new pals, but rest assured even if you get every other title in MECCA, there's one that belongs to us and that's the tag titles. And speaking of titles... I have been on the Contender Star since December. And I haven't received a match since the day I challenged my own brother for the World Title, the man you screwed over to get the belt off of, Nykk. And then last week in the tag match, I pinned the new World Champ. Fox, as far as I'm concerned, you ruined one title match tonight, and the fans deserve to see another one. I want you in the ring later tonight with that belt on the line!
(Fox steps up in the aisle and holds up the belt, yelling at Jay that he beat his brother, and he'll be no problem, while Nykk tries to calm him down. Fox is having none of it, and goes to the ring with Nykk in tow. He climbs in and takes the mic from Jay.)
Fox: You want a match tonight, against the World Champ? I'm not your brother, Jay. I won't let you down gently. I'll drop you straight on your head so hard and fast you won't even remember the ref getting to three. After tonight, you're going to wake up to the sound of an EKG machine!
Nykk: Whoa, whoa, Fox, hold on. Listen, you don't have to put the belt on the line against him. What has he done lately? Let's calm down, go to the back and talk about it...
Fox: No! I worked too hard and long to get this belt to have people call me a coward now. Nykk, make this match. I'm going to make him pay for embarrassing me last week!
(Nykk throws up his hands.)
Nykk: But... oh, all right. All right. Tonight in the main event, Ronin Fox defends his World Title against Jay Crowe of the Pyro Twins! Are you sure that's what you want, Fox?
Fox: I'm sure. I'm not like England. I don't lose important battles.
Nykk: Fine. Jay, you'd better be ready, because tonight the House of Lords...
(Nykk and Fox dive out of the ring as Stone and Ki make a lunge for them.)
David: We have our main event for tonight. Ronin Fox will have his first title defense as he defends against Jay Crowe later on. We'll be right back!
(Commercial Break)
(Backstage, Bill Bicknell is standing by with the Killer Kanines and Medea Knight.)
Bill: I'm here with the tag team champions, the Wild Wolf and Anubis, along with their manager Medea Knight. I understand that you guys have a response to what the Pyro Twins said out there earlier.
Knight: That's right, Bill. We heard the Pyro Twins talking to the House of Lords saying that the tag titles belong to them. I need to make a correction there. These men are the MECCA Tag Team Champions. The Killer Kanines!
Wolf: And if the Pyro Twins want to take these belts from us, they've got the opportunity to try. Because coming up at Punked Out, we will finally meet the Pyro Twins once again, and this time the belts will be on the line. Boys, don't bite off more than you can chew, because nobody can bite more than a Kanine!
Anubis: Destruction is what we do best, Jay and Dusty, and if you thought getting by us was tough at the last Punked Out, now we're bigger, better, stronger, faster and meaner. And we will cement our status as the top team in MECCA when we beat you one, two, three.
(In the arena, "Clavicle" hits and Matt Sydal, the Human Tornado and Delirious make their way to the ring.)
David: So we now know the Pyro Twins will get their shot at the Killer Kanines at Punked Out, live on pay-per-view on June 30. But right now it's time for a six-man tag team attraction match.
Dick: An eclectic team to say the least, and Tornado, Delirious and Sydal look prepared as they get one last shot at the UK Wrecking Crew.
("Problems" hits and the UK Wrecking Crew comes out to a thunderous ovation.)
David: It's a huge homecoming for Andy Nathans, Jack Fletcher, Tristan Lee and Nikki Chandler as they're not used to receiving the cheers here in MECCA, but tonight there's no one more popular.
Dick: We'll see if this helps them translate this energy into a victory right here in their homeland.
(FINISH: Nathans hits London Bridge is Falling Down on Tornado from the top, but gets up to receive Shadows Over Hell. Lee then hooks him and delivers the Degenerate Driver and Sydal immediately gives him the Here It Is Driver. Fletcher breaks up the pin and gets Sydal up to hit the Union Jack. But Tornado is back up and gives him DATNIGGADEAD! He covers, but Nathans hits him with a senton. He sets Tornado up for the Wrecking Ball, and Lee and Fletcher give him a double diving headbutt to complete the move. Nathans covers and gets the three count.)
Winners: The UK Wrecking Crew
David: The UK Wrecking Crew have come home and won, and this entire arena of British fans loves it!
Dick: The UK Wrecking Crew have won this feud, and proven that they are a force to be reckoned with here in MECCA.
("Destroy" suddenly hits as they're celebrating, and Nykk makes his way to the ring with a mic.)
David: What the hell is he doing back out here?
Nykk: Cut the music! UK Wrecking Crew, I've heard you say many times before that you're the best faction in MECCA, but you don't hold a candle to the House of Lords, and you know why? It's because you're British, and we're American! I'll give you your due, you are great, but that's really the only difference between us and the only difference that matters. We're better than you, and we're better than all these limey fans!
(The UKWC blows Nykk off and heads to the back.)
Nykk: The fact is, I didn't even want us to come here to the UK, but you people pay us big bucks and recognize the best wrestling when you see it, and god knows you have to import it, because that crap you have over here just doesn't do. Now, a bit of business at hand. We have a pay-per-view coming up on June 30, back in America in San Francisco, thank God, called Punked Out. And for this very special event, I am bringing back a concept that hasn't been seen since the days of RCW. To make the main event at Summertime Showdown in August even more special, one lucky competitor will get a chance to win a shot at the World Championship. Basically, two four-man teams of random contenders will be pitted against one another in an eight-man tag. Later that night, the winning team will meet each other in a Four Way Dance, with the winner getting a guaranteed title shot on August 26. And UK Wrecking Crew, you'll be given your first chance at the World Title in a long time on my terms, because next week on Go Time from Liverpool, qualifying matches will begin to determine just who will be in Eight-Man Throwdown! As for the rest of tonight, sit back and watch up next as Ronin Fox kicks the bejesus out of Jay Crowe and shows exactly why he is the man to champion the House of Lords. Then as far as I'm concerned the rest of you lanky Brits can piss off!
("Destroy" plays and Nykk exits the ring.)
David: Eight-Man Throwdown returns at Punked Out, and qualifying matches start next week. It will be interesting to see who wins through and gets a shot at the title. Up next is the main event, as Ronin Fox will make his first title defense against Jay Crowe of the Pyro Twins!
(Commercial Break)
(Backstage, Bill Bicknell is standing by with Bryan Danielson.)
Bill: I'm here with the American Dragon Bryan Danielson, and last week, Nykk decided to make a match between you and him for Punked Out on June 30 in order to settle the score once and for all.
Danielson: That's right, Bill, and if Nykk made that match because he was worried I wouldn't accept the challenge, that is certainly not the case. Nykk, you and I need to settle this once and for all, and it's almost funny that when all this started, we were on opposite sides of the coin. Now all the fans love me, and you're pretty much universally loathed. And we've already had two fantastic matches against each other, and even beat each other using the same hold. I'd say that makes us pretty evenly matched. So I have a challenge of my own, Nykk. With our match at Punked Out, one victory just isn't going to cut it. Anyone can win one fall at anytime. I want you in the ring, two out of three falls. Let's really see who the better man is. I have a hunch it's going to prove to be the best wrestler in the world, Bryan Danielson!
(In the arena, "Burning Times" hits and Jay Crowe makes his way to the ring, along with Dusty Schneble.)
David: It's the main event of our first show in England, and it's a World Title Match as Jay Crowe makes his way down. He's coming into this strong, with a pinfall victory over the champ last week.
Dick: He's seconded by his partner Dusty Schneble who is surely out here to make sure no shenanigans take place on the part of the House of Lords.
("Did My Time" hits and Ronin Fox makes his way to the ring, along with Cynric.)
David: And it looks like Fox will be accompanied by his brother, the Chief Assassin Cynric.
Dick: Cynric has already been instrumental in one title match in the past month, and will he make it a second right here tonight?
Jared: Ladies and gentlemen, this is your Go Time main event! This contest is scheduled for one fall and it is for the MECCA World Championship! Introducing first, the challenger... from Bellbrook, Ohio, and weighing in at 185 lbs... he is one half of the Pyro Twins and a former MECCA Tag Team Champion... Jaaaaay Crooooooowe! And his opponent... from Westminster, Colorado... weighing in at 175 lbs... he is the current reigning and defending MECCA World Heavyweight Champion... Roniiiiiin Foooooox!
(FINISH: Cynric tries to get on the apron, but Dusty pulls him off and they brawl on the floor. Jay reverses a whip into the corner and charges, but Fox gets his feet up. He goes for the Tail End, but Jay throws him off and lifts him for the Overhaul. Fox fights out of it and escapes behind Jay. He takes him to the ropes and pulls him back with a rollup. Jay kicks out, and Fox uses the momentum to dive through the ropes onto Dusty on the floor. As he celebrates, Jay reaches down and grabs him by the hair. He drags him to the apron and gives him a belly-to-belly suplex back into the ring. He lifts Fox and gives him the Overhaul. He covers, but Fox manages to get a foot over the bottom rope. Jay picks Fox up, but Fox rakes the eyes. He whips Jay into the corner and goes for Around the World in 18 Seconds. He hits the shoulderblock and then whips him to the opposite corner for a clothesline. He whips him to an adjacent corner for another shoulderblock, but Jay steps aside and kicks Fox full blast in the face. He lifts him for another Overhaul, but Fox gets his arm behind Jay's head and swings down, dropping Jay on his head with the Tail End. Fox covers and gets the three count.)
Winner: Ronin Fox
David: Fox with an impressive victory, and he will hold on to the World Title. But now it's on to Punked Out, and just who will Nykk name as the number one contender to his own man's title?
Dick: I don't know, but Fox is going to prove a formidable champion with a victory like that, and even more so with the House of Lords backing him up.
David: We'll see you next week in Liverpool as our UK tour continues with another edition of Go Time!
