("Neocon" opening.)
David: Welcome to Chicago, Illinois, as MECCA rolls into town for another edition of Go Time! I'm David Mills, along with Dick Broccoli, and tonight we will be addressed by the NEW MECCA Champion as of Saturday, Ronin Fox! He will then go on to team with his brother Cynric to take on the Pyro Twins in our main event.
Dick: Plus a big grudge match in the ladies' division, as Gail Kim once again gets a chance to get her hands on Nikki Chandler of the UK Wrecking Crew.
David: Plus we'll hear from the MECCA Tag Team Champions and much more this week on Go Time.
("Destroy" hits and the House of Lords make their way to the ring. Nykk is practically skipping down the aisle as Cynric looks around, making sure no one is there to attack them. Ronin Fox and Lisa Letty are wearing black robes and Huh and Joey Sprinklers are bringing up the rear, arguing with each other.)
David: What a night it was for the House of Lords at New Dawn. Fox surprised everyone by showing up after Eddie had pinned Nykk, and Nykk revealed that Fox was going to get a title shot as well. Eddie put up a hell of a fight, but taking on two of the top stars in MECCA back to back took is toll, and sorry to spoil what's surely under that robe, but Fox is the new MECCA World Champion.
Dick: It was a setup all along, and everyone fell for it.
(Nykk gets a mic.)
Nykk: Three words come to mind... hook, line and sinker. Don't feel bad, Eddie Crowe, because you were not the only one to fall for it. Everyone in MECCA believed that the House of Lords was through before it even got started, and now look at us! Lisa, Fox, if you please.
(They take off their robes to reveal the World and Ladies' belts around their respective waists.)
Nykk: Half of MECCA's titles now belong to us. Fox, I have to admit, I had Eddie beat a couple of times last night, and I was sorely tempted to take that belt for myself and reign atop MECCA once again. But I needed to prove to you, to prove to everyone, that the House of Lords goes above and beyond my own wishes. You are the perfect champion for this company, Fox, and I'm proud of you.
(They embrace.)
David: It warms your heart, doesn't it fans?
Fox: I owe all of this to you, Nykk. You made it all possible. I told you all that I would be the one to dethrone Eddie Crowe, and look who's wearing the gold now! And I promise you people, I will be a fair champion. I will be a fighting champion. And I will go down in history as the greatest champion in MECCA history, and by the time I'm done, you'll all have forgotten the name Eddie Crowe. Now, what we need next to complete our ensemble of gold is some tag team gold. And tonight, when Cynric and I dismantle the Pyro Twins as only we can do, we're taking that number one contenders' spot, and you'll soon be looking at a double champion!
Dick: Ambitious, isn't he?
(Fox hands the mic to Lisa.)
Lisa: Can't you people just shut up for one minute? Oh, I guess you're still mad at me for "corrupting" your beloved Nykk, but the fact is none of you were there for us when we were going through our rough patch, so we were both more than willing to stick the knife directly between the shoulder blades, so to speak. I proved at New Dawn that I am and always will be the First Lady of MECCA. This belt belongs to me, just as it did back in 2005 when I was fully committed to kick starting the ladies' division. In 2006, I wasn't really concentrated on being champ, and so I wasn't. But it's 2007 now, and look who's back as champion.
(Kelly Schweickart walks out on stage with a mic, but Lisa doesn't notice her yet as the fans cheer.)
Lisa: Thank you. And we all know that the ladies' division would be nothing without me, and so I intend to keep this title for as long...
Kelly: Hey, Lisa!
(Lisa looks up at Kelly.)
Kelly: I'm listening to what you're saying, and I'm just not feeling it, girl. You may have been one of the most important parts of the ladies' division and you still are, but you weren't sitting there wrestling yourself for two years. I carried that title proudly for three and a half months, and I had no intention of stopping at New Dawn until Cynric decided to kick me in the face. But I guess you're still real proud of yourself, but the fact remains is your grip on that title is not guaranteed until you can beat me clean. So what do you say? Me and you next week, in the UK, right here on Go Time, for that Ladies' Championship!
Lisa: Kelly, you want to come out here and talk trash to me? You were a glorified rookie when MECCA started, and it was me who took you under my wing and showed you how things worked in this business. If anything, you owed me this title! But since you seem to have learned your lessons so well, and I'm always ready to go out and wrestle, you want a title shot next week? Let me think about it... no. Let's get out of here, everyone.
(The House of Lords starts to leave the ring.)
Kelly: Wait a minute! You're going to tell me that after all we've been through, fighting together and apart, that you're just going to flake out now that you've won that belt in such dishonorable fashion?
(Lisa laughs her off and the House of Lords exits the ring.)
Kelly: And by the way, the reason you weren't focused on in ring action in 2006 was because you were too busy playing "sports entertainment love story" with Nykk!
(Lisa stops in her tracks and storms back into the ring to pick up the mic again.)
Lisa: What!? Nobody says that to me! Fine, you obviously want this rematch bad, and you can have it. But don't expect me to play fair. I'm through with that.
(Lisa throws down the mic and exits the ring.)
David: Kelly Schweickart will take on Lisa Letty for the Ladies' Championship next week, and what a rematch that should be! We'll return with action up next as Gail Kim takes on Nikki Chandler.
(Commercial Break)
(In the arena, "Bad Reputation" hits and Nikki Chandler makes her way to the ring.)
David: We're back on Go Time, and representing the UK Wrecking Crew, Nikki Chandler will be in action shortly.
Dick: It was last month that Chandler interrupted the trophy ceremony for the Women's World Cup by attacking Gail Kim, and they also met this past Saturday in the first ever eight-person mixed tag, and it was Chandler and the UKWC that came out victorious.
("Brackish" hits and Gail Kim makes her way to the ring.)
David: Gail Kim is dead set on getting revenge on Chandler, and this match could go a long way in determining a number one contender for the Ladies' Title.
Dick: Kim was the longest reigning Ladies' Champion in history, and she is always eager to attempt to get that belt back, though it hasn't happened of yet.
(FINISH: Kim goes for a missile dropkick, but Chandler moves out of the way. She rolls Kim up with a magistral cradle, but Kim kicks out. Chandler clotheslines Gail and then goes to the second rope. She goes for a flipping neckbreaker, but Gail holds onto the second rope and Chandler crashes to the mat. Kim gives her a hurricanrana and then rolls backward, applying a single leg crab. She leans back on it and Chandler taps out.)
Winner: Gail Kim
David: The Sensation of Submission showed exactly why she's called that as she puts away Nikki Chandler.
Dick: A big victory for the former Ladies' Champion, and I could see her knocking on Lisa Letty or Kelly Schweickart's door, depending on who comes out on top next week.
David: We'll be back soon with more MECCA action!
(Backstage, Joey Sprinklers and Huh are still arguing.)
Joey: Yeah, where were ya all these years? It was me standin' by Nykk's side in RCW, and I've done the same here.
Huh: He keeps you around because you're cheap labor. At least I've had some success in the ring.
Joey: I was Toughman Champion, moron. When have you ever held a title?
Huh: I'm a former Tag Team Champion!
Joey: Oh.
(Nykk and Fox enter.)
Nykk: Hey, idiot. (they both look at him) This is real sweet watching you two fight over who's going to be head lackey, but you two are killing our image. The House of Lords always keeps it together. Look at me and Fox. We have our petty differences, but I still let him be the champ.
Fox: Let me?
Nykk: Did I say... nobody said "let." The point is, you two are going to get along, and so far you've given me no reason to see why you should even be in this group. But you're going to redeem yourselves tonight, because you two will be in tag team action.
Huh: Fine, but I want to pick my partner...
(Nykk sighs.)
Fox: You'll be teaming together, you dingbats, not facing each other.
Nykk: Look, two of our biggest threats right now are Kevin Stone and Low Ki. I want you two to take them out, and you're going to do it up next. Plain enough for you?
(Nykk and Fox exit Joey and Huh stare each other down before the realization comes over them.)
Joey: Oh, my God! We're up against Stone and Low Ki!
Huh: We're gonna die! Stone's been trying to kill me for weeks now!
(They fly off in opposite directions. After a few moments, Huh runs back the other way after Joey.)
Huh: Other way...
(Commercial Break)
(Backstage, Nykk and Lisa Letty are standing at the catering table.)
Lisa: So Huh and Joey are taking on Kevin and Ki?
Nykk: Yeah. If by some miracle they manage to take those two out, that's two less threats to deal with right now, but Ki and Stone will probably end up being the ones taking them out. Either way, I win.
Lisa: You don't have a match tonight, right? (she rubs up against him) Let's get out of here, and...
Nykk: As tempting as that suggestion sounds, I do have some other business here tonight. Besides, we have to make sure that Fox and Cynric get that tag title shot.
(Eddie Crowe enters.)
Nykk: Whoa, whoa, hey... you can't do anything, Eddie. I'm the boss now. If you so much as touch me, I'll bounce you out of here faster than...
Eddie: That's not why I'm here, Nykk. Quite simply, Fox has something that belongs to me. Now, he wasn't on the Contender Star when he beat me, and so now neither am I. I want back on the Contender Star so I can get back what's mine. And you're going to give it to me.
(He advances on Nykk.)
Nykk: First of all... whoa, back up. First of all, Fox beat you fair and square and I'm pretty sure I told you what was going on beforehand. I think I left a message on your voice mail. You might just not have gotten it yet. You know how cell phones are...
Eddie: Hey! I don't care who I have to beat... I'm getting a rematch for my title. If not, I'm getting a match with you. And this time, I'll shoot to kill.
Nykk: Look, as far as I'm concerned that Contender Star doesn't mean a whole lot anymore, because I'm going to be the one deciding who challenges for the belt. But if you want back on it so bad, why don't you take on Andy Nathans tonight?
Eddie: That's fine. You tell your new boy that his days are numbered, because I'm coming for his ass.
(Eddie leaves.)
Nykk: Yeah. You have a nice day too.
Lisa: He's overreacting a bit, isn't he?
Nykk: I'll say.
(In the arena, David Mills and Dick Broccoli are at the announce table.)
David: Hello, fans, before we continue here on Go Time, we have some exciting news. For the next two weeks, Go Time will emanate from the UK, as MECCA makes its European debut! Next week, we will be in London, followed by the next week in Liverpool. Thank you to all our fans that have made this possible, and we will see you across the Atlantic.
("Pajamarama" hits and Huh and Joey Sprinklers make their way to the ring. Joey doesn't seem to appreciate having to use Huh's music, so he goes up to the sound booth and tells the guy to change it. "Hit That" plays, and they go to the ring, arguing every step of the way.)
David: The dysfunctional team of Joey Sprinklers and Huh are about to see action, but as we just saw, the former MECCA World Champion, the man who made that title a world title and held onto it for thirteen months, will get a chance to get back on the Contender Star tonight when he takes on Andy Nathans of the UK Wrecking Crew.
Dick: A good opportunity for Crowe, but who knows if he'll actually get his rematch even if he does win, since Nykk is in control now.
("Fighter's Passion" hits and Low Ki and Kevin Stone make their way to the ring.)
David: Both of these men hate the House of Lords, but you know that Kevin is looking at Ki's Toughman Title as well. He was scheduled to face off with Joey for the belt on Saturday, before Ki won it a couple of weeks back.
Dick: Nykk wants Huh and Sprinklers to take these two out, but easier said than done. These men are two of the toughest, hardest hitting men in MECCA.
(FINISH: Stone hits the Monster Bomb on Huh and covers, but Joey breaks up the pin. He bounces off the ropes and dropkicks Stone in the head, and tells Huh to go up top. Huh goes for the moonsault, but Stone rolls out of the way. Ki comes in and kicks Huh right in the face, putting him down. Joey bounces off the ropes and tries a flying headscissors takeover, but Ki throws him off of a powerslam position into the Stone Cutter from Stone. Stone lifts Huh in a Canadian Backbreaker, and Ki goes to the top rope. He hits a double stomp on Huh, who falls limply to the mat. Stone covers and gets the three count.)
Winners: Kevin Stone and Low Ki
David: This match is over, as Stone yet again scores a fall over Huh. So much for taking these two out. They're just getting started with the House of Lords.
Dick: What a decisive victory for Ki and Stone, and if Nykk manages to keep Eddie Crowe away from Fox, what's to stop these two from stepping up?
David: When we come back, the American Dragon Bryan Danielson will be here, and he will take on Jamie Chan!
(Commercial Break)
(Backstage, Bill Bicknell is standing by with the Killer Kanines.)
Bill: I'm here with the MECCA Tag Team Champions, the Killer Kanines. Guys, congratulations on retaining the titles at New Dawn, but the challengers just don't stop coming when you have two champions like you. Now we look ahead, and to the challeng of either the Pyro Twins or Ronin Fox and Cynric.
Wolf: Of course, we realize that our work is never done as long as we hold these belts. Fox, Cynric, we've beaten you before, but you gave us the fight of our life, and you'll do so again if we step into the ring. But Pyro Twins, you remain the one team in MECCA that we have been unable to dominate. Trust us, we're not the kids you stepped into the ring with at Punked Out last year. We're meaner, better, and colder.
Anubis: We're also unstoppable. Jay, Dusty, you would do best to remember that. Our time is now, and whoever challenges us for these belts is going down. We are the MECCA Tag Team Champions, and that is not going to change as long as we draw breath.
(In the arena, "On the Speedway" hits and Jamie Chan makes his way to the ring.)
David: We're continuing with action here on Go Time, and here comes a former member of the David Caldwell Project, Jamie Chan.
Dick: Pretty much all the former members of that group have been ostracized from the locker room, except in the case of Bryan Danielson, who was trying to sabotage the group all along, and Huh, who has found acceptance in another group.
("The Final Countdown" hits and Bryan Danielson makes his way to the ring.)
David: You know that Chan is hot at the American Dragon for what he did, but Danielson finally returned to action last week and teamed with Eddie Crowe to beat Cynric and Ronin Fox.
Dick: Danielson has vowed to take down the House of Lords, and he could certainly be considered a top contender to Ronin Fox's World Title.
(FINISH: Chan kicks out of a Regalplex, but Danielson segues into his elbow combination. Chan rolls away to escape, and ends up in the corner. Danielson charges with a forearm, but Chan moves. He gives Danielson a Saitama Kick, and tries to follow up with a superkick. Danielson catches his foot and spins him around, taking down Chan with Cattle Mutilation. After a few moments, Chan taps out.)
Winner: Bryan Danielson
David: Danielson is the winner, and the self-professed best wrestler in the world is back on track here in MECCA.
Dick: American Dragon is looking better than ever, definitely.
(Nykk comes out on the stage with a mic.)
Nykk: Hey, Dragon!
David: Not him again.
(Danielson looks over at Nykk.)
Nykk: I saw your little meaningless victory from the back, and I just want you to know that if you plan on challenging Fox for his title right now, you'd better think again. Because we've got Punked Out coming up, and I have a yen to settle the little matter between us. You've been a thorn in my side for too long, and when you have a thorn in you, the best thing to do is extract it and throw it away. And at Punked Out, you and I will find out once and for all just who is better. And I have to say, just based on watching you, the answer is plainly obvious.
(Nykk goes back through the curtain.)
David: What a match it will be at Punked Out, Nykk vs. Danielson! Each man has one victory over the other, and now they will settle it one way or the other. Up next, Eddie Crowe attempts to reclaim a spot on the Contender Star when he faces Andy Nathans.
(Commercial Break)
(In the arena, "Problems" hits and Andy Nathans makes his way to the ring.)
David: We're back on Go Time, and set for singles action with Andy Nathans, a member of the UK Wrecking Crew.
Dick: Also one half of the original UK Wrecking Crew with Jack Fletcher, and he plans to solidify his spot on the Contender Star right here tonight.
("Noots" hits and Eddie Crowe makes his way to the ring.)
David: Our now former MECCA Champion has always had trouble in the past with the UK Wrecking Crew, and Andy Nathans specifically has had a lot of success against him in singles competition.
Dick: And Eddie is just coming off two grueling title defenses at New Dawn, but is determined to regain a spot on the Contender Star and get his title back.
(FINISH: Nathans hits London Bridge is Falling Down on Eddie and covers, but Eddie barely manages to kick out at two. Nathans picks him up and goes for a brainbuster, but Eddie knees him in the head and lands on his feet. He snapmares Nathans over and kicks him in the side of the head. Nathans looks to be out of it, so Eddie picks him up and hits the running brainbuster, followed by the Eddie Dive and covers for the three count.)
Winner: Eddie Crowe
David: Eddie just showed that losing the title a few days ago hasn't slowed him down in the slightest, and Fox has to be biting his nails at the thought of taking on a fresh Eddie Crowe for the title again.
Dick: Fox has the House of Lords to back him up, and as we've seen, that has made all the difference in the world.
David: Speaking of Fox, he will be teaming with Cynric up next, as they take on the Pyro Twins in our main event!
(Backstage, Bill Bicknell is standing by with Shadow.)
Bill: I'm here with the former Ladies' Champion Shadow, and of course, your old rival Lisa Letty once again became the champ at New Dawn this past Saturday. What are your thoughts on the latest development in the ladies' division?
Shadow: Lisa can go after the title if she wants, but the fact is that I was never granted a rematch against Kelly for the belt. And I think with my performance against her at the MECCA Challenge, I more than earned that rematch. So Lisa, don't get too comfortable with that title, because I took it from you once before and I can do it again. And I don't care if I have to go through the entire House of Lords... I will be champion once again.
(Commercial Break)
(In the arena, "Soul Creation" hits and Ronin Fox and Cynric make their way to the ring, along with Nykk.)
David: It's main event time, and how many times are we going to see Nykk tonight? He didn't even have a match tonight, and he's logged more time in the arena than anybody.
Dick: Nykk is throwing his weight around as the sole owner of MECCA now, and he wants Fox and Cynric to be the ones to be the next challengers for the Killer Kanines' tag team belts.
("Burning Times" hits and the Pyro Twins make their way to the ring.)
David: It was Fox and Cynric who unseated the Pyro Twins in a classic contest for the titles last summer, and you can be sure the Pyro Twins have not forgotten that they haven't been able to exact payback ever since.
Dick: This is just one more hurdle for Jay and Dusty to overcome after they thought they had won the number one contender position after their victory at New Dawn.
(FINISH: Nykk gets sent to the back early for interfering too much, and so Joey Sprinklers and Huh come out. Toward the end of the match, Lisa runs down to take his place, and trips Jay as he bounces off the ropes, allowing Cynric to give him a spinning heel kick. Cynric tags Fox as Lisa sets up a table on the outside. Dusty comes in, but gets a double sidewalk slam. They attempt to throw Dusty over the top and through the table, but Jay clips both their knees. Dusty gives Fox a DDT as Lisa gets on the apron. Jay whips Cynric at her, but he stops in his tracks. He moves out of the way as Jay comes in with a running kick, which connects with Lisa and sends her to the floor. However, he turns around to receive a flapjack from Cynric. He goes to the top rope for an elbow drop, but Dusty intercepts him. He goes to the apron and grabs Cynric by the gi. He beels him off the top rope and through the table at ringside. Fox and Jay get up and Fox charges for the Tail End, but Jay throws him off and immediately lifts him into a reverse fireman's carry, dropping him on his head with the Overhaul. He covers and gets the three count.)
Winners: The Pyro Twins
David: The Pyro Twins have overcome the odds, and Jay just planted our MECCA Champion and got the victory!
Dick: The Pyro Twins retain their spot as the next challengers for the tag titles, and now Jay has pinned the World Champion! You know he could be seeking a title shot shortly after this.
David: That's all for this week, fans. Join us next week when we debut in the United Kingdom for more Go Time!
