Rundown Results:
Wild Wolf b. Concession Boy
Daizee Haze b. Zoe Alexander, Sara Del Rey, Shadow
Nikki Chandler b. Heather Star
Cynric/Fox b. Mayse/Anubis
("Neocon" opening.)
David: MECCA is coming to you from Cleveland, Ohio, and this is Go Time! I'm David Mills, along with Dick Broccoli, and tonight the match the House of Lords tried to prevent last week will take place. Eddie Crowe and Kevin Stone will team to take on Ronin Fox and Cynric in the main event.
Dick: And also, the two teams involved in the tag title match at New Dawn will compete tonight in singles competition. Anubis of the Killer Kanines goes head to head with Trent Acid of the Backseat Boyz!
David: Plus we'll hear from Alan Mayse, and much more this week on Go Time.
("Bad Reputation" hits and Nikki Chandler and Shadow make their way to the ring.)
David: We're kicking things off with the ladies of MECCA in tag team action.
Dick: This is the first time Shadow has shown her face on Go Time since losing at the MECCA Challenge III. You know she's looking to get the fall in this one so she can move back up the ranks.
("Take It Off" hits and Kelly Schweickart and Gail Kim make their way to the ring.)
David: Of course, Gail Kim and Nikki Chandler are on opposite sides of the first ever eight-person mixed tag at New Dawn. Nikki will be teaming with her fellow UKWC members, and Kim's partners will be Matt Sydal, the Human Tornado and Delirious.
Dick: Our Ladies' Champion Kelly Schweickart will be defending her title against Lisa Letty, and tonight she looks to warm up and get ready for that match.
(FINISH: Chandler hits a swinging neckbreaker on Kelly, but gets a missile dropkick from Kim. Chandler rolls to the outside, and Kim takes her down with a tope. She and Chandler brawl out of the arena while Shadow attempts to capitalize. She gives Kelly a Skullbuster and applies the Dragon Sleeper, but Kelly knees her in the face and takes her over with a snapmare. She picks Shadow up and drops her on her head with a hardway suplex. She hits the standing 450 and covers for the three count.)
Winners: Kelly Schweickart and Gail Kim
David: Kelly wins it for her team, and it looks like Gail and Nikki are out of here.
Dick: Kelly has the momentum going into Saturday, but she'll have her hands full with the First Lady of MECCA.
(As Kelly is celebrating, Lisa Letty runs in through the crowd. She forearms Kelly from behind and then hits a bulldog from the second rope. She gets a chair and places it between Kelly's shoulder blades. She applies the Letty Stretch, using the chair for extra leverage. Kelly yells in pain until officials come out and make Lisa release the hold.)
David: What a dastardly attack by Lisa Letty, who is bound and determined to use any means to win the title back this Saturday.
Dick: She is holding absolutely nothing back now that she is in the House of Lords, and she seems to like it that way.
David: When we come back, Matt Sydal will take on Tristan Lee in a rematch from two weeks ago, but right now Bill Bicknell is standing by with the MECCA World Champion.
(Backstage, Bill Bicknell is standing by with Eddie Crowe.)
Bill: I'm here with Eddie Crowe, MECCA World Champion, and Eddie, we just found out that at New Dawn it will indeed be Nykk challenging you for the World Title.
Eddie: What can I say, Bill? That's probably the smart choice, because out of everyone in the House of Lords, Nykk is the only one I've never beaten. But that does not mean that I will sit idly by and let Nykk take back the only symbol of power in MECCA that means anything. I've held this title for thirteen months, and there is no reason to stop now. But tonight, I've got Fox and Cynric. Last week, you two tried to take out the man I chose to be my partner, Kevin Stone. Well, Kevin is ready, and no matter what you two do, you cannot stop us. We're taking this match, and Saturday, the House of Lords will be stopped dead in their tracks.
(Commercial Break)
(In the arena, "Ballroom Blitz" hits and Tristan Lee makes his way to the ring, along with Andy Nathans.)
David: Welcome back to Go Time, and it's time for singles action as we get ready for the first ever eight-person mixed tag match at New Dawn. Representing the UK Wrecking Crew is their youngest member, Tristan Lee.
Dick: And it looks like he brought some insurance with him in the form of Andy Nathans.
("Clavicle" hits and Matt Sydal makes his way to the ring.)
David: Lee beat Sydal two weeks ago after using brass knuckles, and it looks like he doesn't plan on making it a fair fight this time either.
Dick: Sydal is out for some payback, and he looks to get the victory heading into New Dawn.
(FINISH: Sydal goes up to hit the Cyclorama, but Lee pushes him back to the mat. He goes for a diving headbutt, but Sydal moves out of the way. Nathans gets on the apron, distracting the ref and Sydal confronts him. Nathans throws some brass knuckles to Lee behind the ref's back, but Sydal sees it. Lee takes a swing at Sydal, but Sydal ducks and dropkicks the hand, sending the brass knuckles flying. Sydal hits the Here It Is Driver and dropkicks Nathans's knee, causing him to hit his head on the apron. Sydal covers Lee and gets the three count.)
Winner: Matt Sydal
David: Sydal did it, and he will now go on to team with Delirious, the Human Tornado and Gail Kim this Saturday against the entire UK Wrecking Crew!
Dick: Sydal was ready for the tactics of Tristan Lee this time and walks out the victor.
(In the locker room, Nykk is berating Joey Sprinklers while Lisa Letty looks on.)
Nykk: I can't believe that. I could not believe my eyes. You went out there without my permission, gave Low Ki the perfect opportunity to take a match against you, and you not only lost the Toughman Title, you did it on your first night as a Lord! For God's sake, Joey, what did I say last week about disappointments? I mean, right now I'm thinking that moron Huh would be a better lackey than you!
(Huh enters.)
Huh: Huh?
(Nykk and Joey recoil.)
Nykk: Whoa, wait a minute! What do you want?
Huh: Relax, I'm not here to fight. Actually, after last week, you showed me something. You showed me where the place to be is, and that's in the House of Lords. The whole reason I joined the David Caldwell Project was to make it to the top of MECCA, and that's why I was so angry. But since you have an opening for lead lackey, I want to volunteer my services to the House of Lords.
Joey: Yo, yo, wait a minute here. You can't be lead lackey, I'm da lead lackey!
Huh: You couldn't even win on your first night!
Nykk: Wow, lackey on lackey. Too bad it can't be a fight to the death. But I'll tell you what, Huh. There's this tag match coming up later, and since Stone obviously didn't get the hint last week, I'm just going to go ahead and pull him from that match, and Eddie's on his own to find a replacement. And I'll put you in the ring with him one more time, in a Last Man Standing Match. Depending on how you do, I may accept you into the House of Lords.
Huh: All right! I'm in!
Nykk: Then get ready, because I want that match up next.
(Nykk leaves, and Huh wipes his brow and flicks his sweat at Joey before following him. Lisa shoves her way past Joey and also leaves.)
(Commercial Break)
(Backstage, the Backseat Boyz are in the midst of an attack on the Wild Wolf. Kashmere is stomping him while Acid gets a garbage can and throws it down across Wolf's head before officials arrive to break it up.)
Acid: And later tonight, your partner's all ours. We're taking those titles at New Dawn, and that's it!
(The Backseats walk away.)
(In the arena, "Pajamarama" hits and Huh makes his way to the ring.)
David: What a cheap attack on the Wild Wolf, and our cameras just barely managed to catch it. That means when Acid takes on Anubis later tonight, Kashmere has free reign to get involved without fearing any repercussions from the Wild Wolf. Right now, we're getting ready for a Last Man Standing Match as Huh looks to earn a spot in the House of Lords.
Dick: Huh seems to be more career focused recently, and I guess he got all that animosity toward Nykk out of his system last week, because he wants to move up in the world.
David: I'm not sure how far he'll go being Nykk's lackey.
("At the End of the Rainbow" hits and Kevin Stone makes his way to the ring.)
David: Even after managing to be here this week after a brutal attack by Fox and Cynric, Nykk still pulled Stone out of the tag match later on, and now our MECCA Champion doesn't have a partner.
Dick: And we understand that after what happened last week, Nykk has ordered that as punishment for Joey Sprinklers, his match against Stone will go on as planned at New Dawn, despite it not being for the Toughman Title.
(FINISH: Midway through the match, Joey Sprinklers comes out to watch. Huh gets a chair and charges Stone, ramming it into his head. Stone staggers, and Huh bounces off the ropes and hits another leaping chairshot to take Stone down. The ref starts his count, but Stone gets back up at seven. Huh takes a swing with the chair, but Stone ducks and kicks it back into his face with a big boot. He signals for the Stone Crusher and whips Huh into the ropes. Huh escapes and kicks Stone, going for a DDT on the chair. Stone won't go down and headbutts Huh in the midsection. He gives him a Monster Bomb onto the chair and staggers back to the corner. The ref counts Huh down for a ten count and calls for the bell.)
Winner: Kevin Stone
David: Huh has failed miserably, and the boss isn't going to look to favorably at this.
(Joey gives Stone a wide berth as he leaves, and then gets in the ring. He laughs and belittles Huh as he regains consciousness.)
Dick: Joey Sprinklers thinks this is funny, and I guess he's not feeling so insecure about losing his spot now.
David: Our main event is still to come. Who will team with Eddie Crowe against Ronin Fox and Cynric, or will Eddie go at it alone? We'll be right back and we'll see Trent Acid battle Anubis.
(Commercial Break)
(Backstage, the Pyro Twins and the Surgeons are in the midst of an argument.)
Jay: Shut up, shut up! You two need to get back in line, because after New Dawn is over, we're the new number one contenders for those tag belts, and as far as I'm concerned when we're the champs again, you can chase us for a title shot!
Stryker: Since when do you decide who gets title matches? We've earned an opportunity just the same as you, and we'll be damned if you get a shot before us.
(Dusty shoves him.)
Dusty: Why don't we just decide right now?
(The Surgeons move forward, but Nykk enters and gets between the two teams.)
Nykk: You see that door over there? That is my office, and I cannot concentrate with you four screaming at the top of your lungs all day. You want title shots? Two of you will get one. Keep in mind that it doesn't really matter in the long run, because the House of Lords are taking those belts anyway, but if it shuts you up, I'll just have to put you four in a match this Saturday, and the winners will get a shot at the tag titles in the near future. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm heading for the arena, which will be peace and quite compared to this!
(Nykk exits.)
(In the arena, "The Chase" hits and Trent Acid makes his way to the ring.)
David: Another match made for New Dawn this Saturday in St. Louis, as the Surgeons will take on the Pyro Twins, with a shot at the tag team titles on the line!
Dick: Speaking of the tag titles, here comes one half of the challengers at New Dawn, Trent Acid. He's looking to embarrass Anubis by beating him right here before the pay-per-view.
("Kobrakai" hits and Anubis makes his way to the ring.)
David: The Wild Wolf was taken out earlier by the Backseat Boyz, and I'm sure we'll see Johnny Kashmere at some point during this match as a result.
Dick: Anubis doesn't look too happy, and Acid may be the one to pay for the attack earlier.
(FINISH: Anubis beels Acid across the ring and mows him down with a hard clothesline. He sets up for the Ankh Smash as Johnny Kashmere makes his way out. He gets on the apron, and Acid ducks, only for Anubis to keep going and nail Kashmere with the move. He sails into the guardrail, but Acid rolls up Anubis for a close two count. Acid kicks Anubis twice and hits him with a roaring forearm and then whips him into the corner. He charges, but Anubis backdrops him. Acid lands on the ring apron and gives him a shoulder thrust to double him over. Acid somersaults across Anubis's back and takes the ref's attention as Kashmere hits Anubis over the head with a chair. Acid nails Anubis with the Yakuza Kick and covers, putting his feet on the ropes to get the pin.)
Winner: Trent Acid
David: Acid steals one, and now the Backseats have momentum going into their tag title match this Saturday!
Dick: Bad break for Anubis, since his partner is too hurt to be out here to counteract Kashmere.
David: We'll see who gets the last laugh when all this is said and done. Our main event is coming up next, but will Eddie Crowe have a partner? Regardless if that's the case or not, he will be taking on Ronin Fox and Cynric after the break!
(Commercial Break)
(Backstage, Bill Bicknell is standing by with Alan Mayse.)
Bill: Alan Mayse, in recent weeks you not only dropped a match where you would have gotten an opportunity at the MECCA Championship, but you were also swindled out of your chance to regain the Toughman Title back at the MECCA Challenge. What the fans are wondering, is where do you go from here?
Alan: It's true, I have not been performing up to my normal standards lately, and you could even say I've been in a bit of a slump since losing the Toughman Title. Joey pulled a couple over on me, but he got his last week. But now I think it's time I moved on to other pastures, and that just happens to be the MECCA World Title. It's been way too long since I championed a company, and I hear that at the next pay-per-view, Punked Out on June 30, a certain concept from the RCW days will be brought back, with the winner getting a title shot for Summertime Showdown. And I just want everyone in the MECCA office to know, including you Nykk, that I will be there. And whoever is the champion by the time August rolls around, make sure you keep that belt nice and shiny, because I'm coming for it.
Bill: That's certainly interesting news for Punked Out, Alan, and I... well, I think I've got Ronin Fox.
(Bill hurries down the hallway and comes across Fox and Cynric, who are about to go through the curtain.)
Bill: Fox!
Fox: What?
Bill: I know you two are on your way to the ring, but what is your reaction to Nykk taking the title shot at New Dawn?
Fox: This is so typical of Nykk. He promised me one thing, and then went and did another. You know what, Nykk? Maybe everyone's right. Maybe we can't coexist. So on Saturday, when you're wrestling Eddie for the World Title, don't expect me to be there to help. You're on your own, "pal."
("Soul Creation" hits and he and Cynric go through the curtain. In the arena, they come out and make their way to the ring.)
David: Fox with some very strong words for Nykk, and this whole House of Lords thing could disintegrate before it even starts. Do you think Fox would hesitate to go after Nykk should he win the title this Saturday?
Dick: Absolutely not, but he will still be doing the task of softening Eddie up right here tonight. Does he even have a partner yet?
("Noots" hits and Eddie Crowe makes his way down the aisle with a mic.)
Eddie: All right, Fox. I know you and Nykk had this big plan to make sure I didn't have a partner tonight, and I hate to burst your bubble, but there was someone in the back who was supposed to return to action tonight, and I guess Nykk just forgot to put him on the show, right? Well, he's still here, and he's more than willing to be my partner. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you "American Dragon" Bryan Danielson!
("The Final Countdown" hits and Bryan Danielson makes his way to the ring.)
David: And the complexion of this match has just completely changed. Danielson was slated to return this week, but apparently was told that we didn't have anything for him, this of course coming from Nykk. But he found a way on the show himself!
Dick: Danielson hates Nykk, and he's ready to take on the House of Lords right here tonight!
(Danielson and Eddie rush the ring and brawl with Fox and Cynric as the bell rings.)
(FINISH: Cynric tries a clothesline, but Danielson takes him down with a Fujiwara armbar and applies Cattle Mutilation. Fox breaks it up, and Eddie comes in and dukes it out with Fox. Fox manages to backdrop Eddie over the top rope, but backs up into a Regalplex from Danielson, who then gets a spinning heel kick from Cynric. Cynric lifts Danielson and goes for the Shock Cannon, but Danielson escapes and takes Cynric back down with Cattle Mutilation. Fox goes to the top rope and tries to break it up with a guillotine legdrop, but Danielson moves and Fox nails Cynric. Danielson picks up Cynric and nails him in the side of the head with elbows, and Eddie intercepts Fox and takes him down with a flatliner, applying the Crowe's Nest. Eventually, the ref calls for the bell and pulls Danielson off of Cynric.)
Winners: Eddie Crowe and Bryan Danielson
David: What a win for the first time team of Danielson and Crowe, and now the House of Lords just looks foolish for all the lengths they went through to trap Eddie!
(As Danielson and Eddie celebrate, Nykk sneaks down to ringside. He trips Danielson and pulls him out of the ring and rams him into the guardrail. Eddie tries to go after him, but Fox and Cynric attack. Cynric gives Eddie a few kicks to the chest, and Fox then gives him the Tail End. Eddie holds his neck as Nykk gets in the ring. He locks eyes with Fox for a moment, and then Fox storms out of the ring.)
Dick: All is not well in the House of Lords. It's only a matter of time until this comes to a head, David.
David: Will that time be this Saturday at New Dawn? Thank you for joining us fans, and be sure to join us this Saturday on pay-per-view!
