("Neocon" opening.)
Skippy: MECCA has come to San Antonio, Texas, as we count down the days to the MECCA Challenge III, live from New York City! I'm Skippy, along with Dick Broccoli, and with the fight for MECCA's future this Saturday, tonight we will determine which team will get to send a man in first in the Ultimate MECCA Challenge. Tonight, it's a best of three series with Team MECCA taking on the David Caldwell Project!
Dick: Also, the ladies involved in this Saturday's MECCA Challenge III will meet in tag team action as Gail Kim teams with the Ladies' Champion Kelly Schweickart to take on Shadow and Rebecca Knox.
Skippy: Plus the number one contender to the MECCA Championship Ronin Fox will be in action!
("Pajamarama" hits and Huh makes his way to the ring, along with David Caldwell.)
Skippy: We're kicking things off with the first match of our best of three series. Here comes Huh, who has been doing remarkably better since coming under the wing of David Caldwell.
Dick: He's even managed to get so far as a World Title shot last month, and who would have guessed a year ago that Huh would become the best man to fill out the powerhouse role on David Caldwell's team?
("Kobrakai" hits and the Wild Wolf makes his way to the ring, along with Medea Knight.)
Skippy: One half of the current tag team champions, the Killer Kanines have been split tonight as Anubis will team with Kevin Stone later on to take former tag team champs, the CDT.
Dick: Huh is a former tag team champ as well, and more experienced in a singles role than the Wild Wolf. This should be an interesting match up.
(FINISH: The Wild Wolf goes for the Twig Snap, but Huh counters with a powerbomb, putting his feet on the ropes and almost getting the three count. He whips Wolf into the ropes and goes for the Windbreaker, but Wolf counters into a headscissors takeover. He gives Huh a swinging neckbreaker and then climbs to the top rope. However, Huh manages to fall into the ropes and crotch Wolf on the top turnbuckle. Huh climbs up and gives him an electric chair suplex from the top rope, bridging back and getting the three count.)
Winner: Huh
Skippy: Huh has done it, and earned one point for his team! The David Caldwell Project is up 1-0 in this series and if they win one more, that means they'll get to send a man in first in the Ultimate MECCA Challenge.
Dick: That would give them a huge advantage, and what would MECCA be like if David Caldwell had full control, which he will if he wins?
Skippy: I definitely don't want to be known as Skippy for the rest of my career, but that would be the least of MECCA's worries.
(Backstage, Bill Bicknell is standing by with Alan Mayse.)
Bill: I'm here with the man who will challenge for the Toughman Title at the MECCA Challenge III, Alan Mayse. Alan, there are just three days left until you step into the ring with Joey Sprinklers and attempt to take back what you lost to him at Bloody Valentine.
Alan: Bill, there is nothing in the world that is going to cause me to...
(Joey Sprinklers enters.)
Joey: Alan Mayse, with mic time again? Didn't I just hear the same stuff outta your damn mouth last week? If you wanna talk to someone about the match on Saturday, then talk to da champ. Alan, whether you like it or not, I'm da champ, and the toughest guy in this entire organization. And if you don't like it...
(Alan slaps Joey across the face, and Joey goes down.)
Alan: As I was saying, nothing is going to cause me to lose, especially in MECCA's Big Apple debut! I'm the one who made that belt what it is, and...
(Joey suddenly leaps up and clocks Alan with the Toughman Title. Alan goes down, and Joey starts stomping on his head.)
Joey: It's gonna take... (stomp) a lot more... (stomp) than that... (stomp) to keep me down!
(He stomps Alan repeatedly.)
Joey: No one's takin' this belt from me!
(Joey leaves.)
(Commercial Break)
(In the arena, "Gangsta Bitch" hits and Shadow and Rebecca Knox make their way to the ring.)
Skippy: We're back, and we just received word that Alan is being tended to and was just a bit shaken up by that attack from Joey Sprinklers, but he's going to be all right.
Dick: Joey's serious about being Toughman Champion, despite his tactics, and he'll do anything to make sure he keeps that title.
Skippy: Right now, two women who have a lot on the line this Saturday are making their way to the ring. K-Knox, of course, will be representing Ireland in the finals of the Women's World Cup, and Shadow will attempt to regain the Ladies' Title, which she lost back on Valentine's Day.
Dick: But she was never actually beaten for the title.
("Take It Off" hits and Kelly Schweickart and Gail Kim make their way to the ring.)
Skippy: Of course, former Ladies' Champion Gail Kim will be representing her home country of Canada in the Women's World Cup finals this Saturday, and Kelly will be defending her title against Shadow.
Dick: Every one of these other ladies, win lose or draw this Saturday, is a strong contender for Kelly's title.
(FINISH: Kelly ducks an Interceptor from Shadow, who walks right into a missile dropkick from Kim. Knox charges Kelly and sends her down with a kick to the chest. She picks Kelly up for the Falcon Arrow, but Kelly escapes and hits a hardway suplex. She goes to the top rope and hits the Kelly Cyclone, followed by a standing 450 into a cover, but Shadow breaks it up. Referee Rya Zeh attempts to get Shadow and Gail out of the ring, but when Kelly picks up Knox for a slam, Shadow dropkicks her on top of Kelly, and Kim charges back in and clotheslines Shadow before breaking up the pin. Zeh attempts to restore order, but Gail shoves her out of the way and then Knox punches Gail in the face with a blatant closed fist. Zeh finally calls for the bell and throws the match out.)
Winner: No Contest
Skippy: Zeh has had enough, and this match is out of here. Everyone's blood is up because of the MECCA Challenge III this Saturday, and the ladies are no exception. There are just too many issues here for one ref to keep control of.
Dick: None of these women were thinking about the match tonight. Their heads are in the future, three days from now. And they're still fighting!
(The ladies continue to brawl until some more officials come out to pull them apart.)
Skippy: When we come back, the best of three series continues as Low Ki takes on Jamie Chan!
(Backstage, the EDJ is walking down the hallway when they come across the Backseat Boyz.)
Dusty: Well, if it isn't the dead men walking.
Jay: You know something? I'll admit, we weren't prepared for you two when you first got here, and you beat us at No Regrets because of it. But this Saturday, we find out truly who is the best tag team in the world. And we'll be damned if you're going to walk into our organization and beat us again.
Acid: Pyro Twins, you walk around like you're the baddest in the land, but guess what? Me and Kashmere have been itching to settle this for a long time now. In NYC, we prove that our victory was no fluke, and then we go on to get a shot at the tag titles.
Kashmere: The Backseat Boyz don't lie down often, and no offense, but you're not pretty enough or female enough to get us to do that. The winners of this match will truly be the kings of the tag team division here in MECCA, and we'll be damned if anyone's going to take our crowns from us.
(They shoulder past the Pyro Twins and keep walking. Dusty tries to go after them, but Eddie holds him back.)
Eddie: Whoa, save it. That's exactly what they want. Don't get into anything prematurely like Alan did earlier. You guys need to be at a hundred percent.
Jay: You're one to talk.
Eddie: Hey, Fox doomed both himself and me from the start with his attacks. I couldn't quite get through to get my hands on him last week, so this week I bring the fight to him. If I can find him, he's going down at the hands of the MECCA World Champion.
Dusty: Just be careful.
Eddie: You know me. I know what I'm doing. I wouldn't have been champ this long if I didn't.
(Commercial Break)
(In the arena, "On the Speedway" hits and Jamie Chan makes his way to the ring, along with David Caldwell.)
Skippy: We're back on Go Time, and the best of three series between the David Caldwell Project and Team MECCA continues with Jamie Chan.
Dick: Chan's martial arts and high flying skills make him a dangerous opponent for anyone on the roster.
("Fighter's Passion" hits and Low Ki makes his way to the ring.)
Skippy: Low Ki was the first man to stand up to the David Caldwell Project last fall, back when they were nothing more than a nuisance. He was recently announced as the final man on Team MECCA's side, and Ki would hate it more than just about anyone if the Project were to win and turn MECCA into David Caldwell Sports Entertainment.
Dick: Don't forget, Chan scored a huge upset over Low Ki last fall as well, and I'm sure that's not far from either man's mind.
(FINISH: Ki goes for the Tidal Crush, but Chan moves out of the way. He gives Ki a Saitama Kick, but when he goes for the superkick to follow up, Ki blasts him out of the corner with a rolling koppo kick. He gives Chan the Ki Krusher and covers for the three count.)
Winner: Low Ki
Skippy: Low Ki has just scored one for MECCA, putting this series at 1-1! Kevin Stone and Anubis vs. the CDT will now determine the winners.
Dick: Low Ki just sent a message to the David Caldwell Project by mowing through Jamie Chan.
(In the office, Katie Piehl is on her laptop when there's a knock at the door. Nykk and Lisa Letty enter.)
Nykk: Hey, Katie.
(Katie stands up.)
Katie: Nykk, you made it. Good.
Nykk: So did you find out anything?
Katie: Well, I've been consulting with lawyers all week and poring through contracts myself, but I see no alternative. If you're going to captain Team MECCA at the MECCA Challenge III, I need to sign over my authority to you. I don't feel comfortable doing it, but I know that you'll be all right for one night.
Nykk: How bad could I suck, right?
Katie: Exactly. So it is with my full authority that I hand over my share of MECCA to you, in the hopes that you lead our team to victory and put an end to this sports entertainment business once and for all.
Nykk: You're sure about this, then?
Katie: Yes.
Nykk: Then what are the chances that I could be put in power a little early? Say, tonight?
Katie: What do you have in mind?
Nykk: Let's just say I'll have something in store for the David Caldwell Project later on.
Katie: If you want to make life miserable for David Caldwell, then I'm on board. I'll call up legal and get the contract. All you have to do is sign.
Nykk: Awesome.
(Commercial Break)
(Backstage, Ronin Fox is warming up, stretching his neck as he walks toward the curtain. Suddenly, Eddie Crowe hits him from the side and sends him into some production crates. He beats on Fox with right hands and then starts kicking him.)
Eddie: You want to blindside me? You want to hurt me? This Saturday, you'll find out that I'm the champ because there's not a thing you can do to rattle me!
(He kicks at Fox some more until officials arrive to pull him away.)
(In the arena, Skippy and Dick Broccoli are at the announcing booth.)
Skippy: It looks like Ronin Fox has gotten to our MECCA Champion, but he had better get his head straight by this Saturday, because Fox is the toughest challenger Eddie has had in his long reign. Fans, MECCA presents the MECCA Challenge III from New York City this Saturday, live on pay-per-view. Of course, the main event will be Eddie Crowe vs. Ronin Fox for the title.
Dick: And it's a battle for the future of MECCA as ownerships are on the line. Katie Piehl's team of Nykk, Low Ki, Kevin Stone and the Killer Kanines will take on David Caldwell's Bryan Danielson, Huh, Jamie Chan and the CDT in the Ultimate MECCA Challenge!
Skippy: Two more titles will be on the line. Alan Mayse finally gets his rematch against Joey Sprinklers for the Toughman Title, and Kelly Schweickart intends to prove beyond the "shadow" of a doubt that she is the rightful Ladies' Champion when she defends against the former champ Shadow.
Dick: In a grudge match, Cynric will take on Delirious one on one. Also, the Backseat Boyz intend to prove that they are the best tag team in the world when they go against the Pyro Twins.
Skippy: And the finals of the Women's World Cup will go down on Saturday. Canada's Gail Kim takes on Ireland's Rebecca Knox right in the heart of NYC! Fans, we're getting word that Fox is in no mood or condition to compete at the moment, so we're going to go right into the deciding match in tonight's best of three series.
("Sweet Dreams" hits and the CDT make their way to the ring, along with David Caldwell.)
Skippy: Earlier on, Caldwell's team took the early lead when Huh beat the Wild Wolf, but MECCA tied the score when Low Ki beat Jamie Chan. Now it's tag team action to determine which team sends a man in first to the Ultimate MECCA Challenge.
Dick: This is important, because whoever sends a man in first will have a distinct numbers advantage for a period of three minutes.
("At the End of the Rainbow" hits and Kevin Stone and Anubis make their way to the ring, along with Medea Knight.)
Skippy: Two large individuals, Kevin Stone and Anubis are set for action, and on the surface this would appear to be a mismatch, but don't discount the CDT. They're former tag team champs, and a more cohesive unit.
Dick: Absolutely, and they have proven before that they're not opposed to underhanded tactics in order to get the job done.
(FINISH: Anubis gives Dreamo a spinebuster and then bounces off the ropes, but CB pulls the top rope down and Anubis takes a bad fall to the floor. CB springboards in, but Stone catches him with a Stone Cutter. Caldwell gets on the apron, and Stone walks over to him and grabs him by the shirt. Dreamo charges, but Stone sidesteps him and Dreamo goes through the ropes, knocking Caldwell to the floor. Dreamo is on the apron, and Stone suplexes him back into the ring. However, Caldwell trips him from outside, and Dreamo lands on top of Stone. Caldwell holds his foot down, and Dreamo gets the three count.)
Winners: The CDT
Skippy: I don't believe it. The CDT just stole another one, thanks to their scab boss David Caldwell!
Dick: Now Caldwell gets to send a man in first in the Ultimate MECCA Challenge. This is not good for Team MECCA.
(Caldwell raises the CDT's arms as Medea Knight steps into the ring. She starts slapping Caldwell, but Zoe Alexander runs out and clotheslines her from behind. Caldwell tells the CDT to get her up, and they lift her up by the arms. Danielson comes to ringside with a chair and hands it to Alexander. She cracks Medea over the head with it, knocking her out.)
Skippy: Come on. Medea's not even a wrestler, and she's being beaten up by Caldwell's starlet Zoe Alexander.
(Anubis and Stone get to their feet and start fighting the CDT, but Huh and Jamie Chan run down and help them out. As they brawl through the crowd, Danielson is left in the ring with Caldwell as Nykk comes out with a mic.)
Nykk: Danielson! Yeah, I bet you two didn't expect me to be here this week, did you? Well, you certainly wouldn't expect me to be in the Ultimate MECCA Challenge, but due to some expert legal maneuvering, Team MECCA still has itself a captain! That's right, it's official. I am co-owner of MECCA starting right now and through the MECCA Challenge III. And my first act of business, given that we still have about twenty-five minutes left in the show, is to give these great Texas fans a real main event. So it will be myself stepping into the ring, one on one... with Bryan Danielson! And that match starts right now!
(Nykk charges the ring and starts slugging it out with Danielson as Caldwell protests.)
Skippy: We have an impromptu main event made by our temporary co-owner. Nykk vs. Danielson will happen when we return!
(Commercial Break)
(FINISH: Nykk wiggles his way out of Danielson's elbows and answers with some rapid knee strikes. Danielson rolls to the apron, and Nykk goes after him. Danielson pulls the top rope out and lets it snap back into Nykk's head, sending him down. Danielson scurries around the edge of the ring and gets behind Nykk. He tries a small package, but Nykk rolls through. He hits a northern lights suplex and bridges for a two count. He whips Danielson into the ropes and charges for a European uppercut, but Danielson answers with one of his own. He rolls Nykk up with a small package, but Nykk reverses into one of his own and gets the three count.)
Winner: Nykk
Skippy: Nykk has beaten the American Dragon and gotten some payback for Melee, but wait a minute! Watch out, Nykk!
(Jamie Chan and Huh run down to the ring and attack Nykk from behind. The Killer Kanines quickly run out, but Caldwell grabs Anubis's foot as Chan gives Wolf a spinning heel kick. Huh knocks Anubis into the guardrail with a reverse avalanche, and Kevin Stone and Low Ki run out. The CDT ambush them in the aisle and ram Stone into the barricade. Ki manages to fight them off, but Chan blindsides him. In the ring, Danielson applies Cattle Mutilation on Nykk. He then lays into him with elbows.)
Skippy: The David Caldwell Project is destroying Team MECCA right before the big match on Saturday!
(Caldwell gets a mic as the David Caldwell Project forms up in the ring.)
Caldwell: I urge all you fans to tune in this Saturday to watch MECCA for the last time! It will be the last MECCA Challenge, because next week it will be David Caldwell Sports Entertainment Go Time, and the ratings are going to shoot through the roof, and we will finally be mainstream!
Dick: And it could very well happen!
Skippy: Fans, we're out of time, but be sure to join us for the MECCA Challenge III this Saturday so hopefully MECCA can be rid of this vermin once and for all!
