Go Time: 4/4/07

Atlanta, GA

Rundown Results:
Bryan Danielson b. Matt Stryker
Del Rey/Haze b. Coquette/Chandler
Brother Jim b. Heather Star
Huh/Lee/UKWC b. Mayse/Delirious/Killer Kanines

("Neocon" opening.)

Skippy: We are in Atlanta, Georgia, as the countdown to the MECCA Challenge III in New York City continues here on Go Time! I'm Skippy, along with Dick Broccoli, and tonight, we will see a special Toughman Gauntlet take place to determine the number one contender to the Toughman Title. We know that former champion Alan Mayse, Nykk, the Backseat Boyz, Huh, Cynric, plus a few surprises will be included.

Dick: Also, the Ladies' Title will be on the line tonight as Kelly Schweickart defends the belt in a Four Corners Match. Her opponents are Nikki Chandler, Zoe Alexander and the First Lady of MECCA, Lisa Letty.

Skippy: We'll also hear from the number one contender to the MECCA Championship, Ronin Fox, tonight, in addition to much more MECCA action!

("Kobrakai" hits and the Wild Wolf makes his way to the ring.)

Skippy: One half of the MECCA Tag Team Champions, the Wild Wolf is set for a huge challenge in this opening contest.

Dick: A definite tag team specialist and a two-time tag champ, the Wild Wolf still has a lot to prove in the singles ranks.

("The Final Countdown" hits and Bryan Danielson makes his way to the ring.)

Skippy: Bryan Danielson is the golden boy of the David Caldwell Project, ever since Caldwell realized the only way he could beat MECCA was by including an actual wrestler in his sports entertainment group.

Dick: He will also captain the Project's team for the Ultimate MECCA Challenge in just three weeks, where David Caldwell and Katie Piehl will wage war for sole control of MECCA.

(FINISH: Wolf goes for the Kanine Kruncher, but Danielson manages to grab the ropes. Wolf yanks him off and lets Danielson fall across his knee in a modified backbreaker. He whips Danielson into the ropes, but gets reversed. Danielson tries a clothesline, but Wolf blocks it and swings him around, hitting the Twig Snap. He covers, but Danielson gets a foot on the ropes. Wolf goes to the second rope and tries a missile dropkick, but Danielson slams him knee first into the mat and gets on top of him, hammering him in the head with elbows. Wolf sits out and gets to his feet, but Danielson blasts him with a European uppercut and rolls him up with a small package, getting the three count.)

Winner: Bryan Danielson

Skippy: Danielson with that small package of his puts away the Wild Wolf, and another victory is counted for the American Dragon.

Dick: Wolf gave a nice effort, but they don't call Danielson the best in the world for nothing. He's proven that he is more than qualified to captain the David Caldwell Project.

Skippy: We're just getting started here on Go Time, but we'll be right back.

(Commercial Break)

(In the arena, Brother Jim is in the ring with a mic and sporting an eye patch, with referee Keith Young standing at ringside.)

Brother Jim: All of you are going to the fiery depths of Hell! It was against great forces and obstacles that I have come before you all tonight to hopefully save your souls!

Skippy: We're waiting for our next match, and somehow Brother Jim has once again gotten into the ring and is ranting and raving. Can we get security out here please?

Brother Jim: Last week on that sinful Rundown program, I finally put an end to one of your filthy women who tempt all the men in the audience with their short-shorts!

Skippy: He did defeat Heather Star on Rundown, who took exception to his ranting and challenged him to a match, but I assure you, that match was not sanctioned by MECCA. We do not sanction intergender matches here.

Brother Jim: I put that sinful woman in her place, but now I need a real challenge. My real opponent is here tonight, and he lives inside the soul of every one of you! My opponent tonight is the devil himself! And my battle is neverending, as I will rage against sin and temptation! O-pen your Bibles!

(He opens his Bible as security hits the ring. They grab Brother Jim, but "At the End of the Rainbow" hits and Kevin Stone makes his way to the ring.)

Skippy: We're not scheduled to have Kevin Stone out here, but he's apparently has heard enough.

Dick: I'm surprised that Nykk isn't out here, but his occasional tag team partner Kevin Stone looks to be on a mission.

(Stone shoves security aside and nails Brother Jim with a clothesline. Young gets in the ring and calls for the bell.)

Skippy: It looks like we're getting an impromptu match!

(FINISH: Stone completely dominates Brother Jim, though he keeps kicking out of Stone's offense. Stone whips him into the corner and charges, but Brother Jim gets his feet up. He hits a standing seated senton on Stone, and then picks him up. He goes for the Judgment Slam, but Stone escapes and clotheslines Jim in the back of the head. He bounces off the ropes and levels him with a big boot. He picks him up and whips him into the ropes, giving him the Stone Crusher so hard that Jim's shoes fly into the audience. Stone covers and gets the three count.)

Winner: Kevin Stone

Skippy: I'm not sure if that match was sanctioned or not, but Stone has picked up a victory here on Go Time.

Dick: And Brother Jim was chokeslammed out of his shoes... literally!

(Security drags Brother Jim's lifeless body out of the ring while Stone poses.) Skippy: When we come back, Joey Sprinklers will take on one of the Surgeons in a non-title match!

(Commercial Break)

(Backstage, Kevin Stone is taking off his elbow pad and heading toward the locker room when Katie Piehl approaches him.)

Katie: Kevin!

Stone: What's happening, Katie?

Katie: You look to be in a good mood and rightfully so. I've never seen someone destroyed quite like that. Listen, I know we've had our differences in the past, but as you know, we have this Ultimate MECCA Challenge match coming up, and it's either us or Caldwell and his goons after that. We know Caldwell's team, but I have to start making selections for my team, and I would love to see you do to them what you just did out there.

Stone: Me, on Team MECCA at the MECCA Challenge III? Caldwell will never take this company over as long as I have something to say about it. You've got your first recruit.

Katie: Excellent.

(In the arena, "Hit That" hits and Joey Sprinklers skateboards his way to the ring. When he's almost there, he motions to the back and the entire UK Wrecking Crew come out and walk to the ring with him.)

Skippy: Joey Sprinklers is set to take on one of the Surgeons, but it looks like he brought some major backup with him.

Dick: We saw Joey approach the UKWC last week, offering to pay them to watch his back, and it looks like they've reached some kind of deal.

("Body Bomb" hits and the Surgeons make their way to the ring.)

Skippy: Stryker and Walters have both had their title shots at Joey over the last couple of weeks, and both came up short due to Joey's cheating ways. They're going to love to get their hands on Joey tonight.

Dick: But which one of them will he face?

(Walters gets the mic.)

Walters: Joey, we'd love to take you on again for your title, but since tonight's a non-title match, we want to use this opportunity for both of us to get our hands on you. Why don't you bring one of your goons in here and make this a tag match?

Joey: Youse guys wanna take us on? That's fine. I'm the Toughman Champ. I'm the toughest guy here. I don't sweat ya's. But if you wanna shot at me, if you wanna prove that you deserve this belt around my waist, you gotta take on me and two of my guys! Whaddya say?

(Walters and Stryker confer, and then clock Joey. The UKWC attack, and start beating them down. However, Matt Sydal suddenly runs out and lays into the UK Wrecking Crew. Walters clotheslines Lee out of the ring, and Sydal hits a twisting moonsault onto him. He gets back in the ring and joins the Surgeons in a stand off against Joey, Nathans and Fletcher. The ref calls for the bell.)

Skippy: It looks like this match has turned into a six-man tag, as Matt Sydal has returned from his injury that he suffered a few weeks ago!

Dick: He definitely wants to get in the ring with his former partner, and he never did get that Toughman Title rematch.

(FINISH: The Surgeons hit Joey with the Human Error, and Walters covers, but Lee pulls him off from the outside. Walters slides outside and kicks Lee, sending him into the guardrail. A brawl breaks out in the ring as Walters pulls one of the guardrails out and lays it on the floor. He powerbombs Lee onto it and then gets back in the ring as the UKWC are going for the Wrecking Ball on Stryker. Walters intercepts Fletcher with a clothesline and Sydal hits the Shooting Sydal Press onto Nathans's exposed torso. The ref tries to get Stryker and Sydal out of the ring, which allows Joey to come in with a chair and crack Walters across the back. He lays the chair on Walters's head and goes to the top rope, but Sydal runs up the turnbuckles as Walters moves out of the way and gives him the Cyclorama. Sydal covers Joey and gets the three count.)

Winners: Matt Sydal and the Surgeons

Skippy: What a wild match that just was, and Matt Sydal has made a successful return to MECCA!

Dick: The UKWC's complaining that Sydal was not the legal man, but the decision stands, and you can bet Sydal will be looking for the rematch for the Toughman Title that his injury denied him.

Skippy: We have to take a break, but the Ladies' Title will be on the line in a Four Corners Match when we return!

(Commercial Break)

(Backstage, Bill Bicknell is standing by with Ronin Fox.)

Bill: Ronin Fox, last week you attacked your opponent at the MECCA Challenge III, Eddie Crowe, after the six-man main event. How can you possibly explain your actions?

Fox: Bill, you know me well enough by now to know that I always have a plan. Eddie, you are but the first casualty in my reign of terror, which will start when I beat you for the World Title in New York City. Have you found it hard to train, Eddie? Have you found it hard to sleep, knowing that I might be there to hurt you some more? You never know where or when I'm going to show up, so you just think about that while you hug your title close at night, knowing that the dream will soon be over. Because April 28 will be my night, and I will walk out of the Manhattan Center as your new MECCA Champion, and then I will be the one who gets the press, I will be the one getting the first class treatment defending the title around the world, and I will be the one who steps on your career and rubs it into the dirt.

(In the arena, "Edge of Seventeen" hits and Lisa Letty makes her way to the ring.)

Skippy: Ronin Fox with some strong words for Eddie Crowe, but right now the Ladies' Title is on the line, and we're kicking things off with the First Lady of MECCA!

Dick: It's been a long time since Lisa Letty has gotten a shot at the Ladies' Title, the title that she built, being the first Ladies' Champion.

("Bad Reputation" hits and Nikki Chandler makes her way to the ring.)

Skippy: Nikki Chandler seems to have found a home here in MECCA with the UK Wrecking Crew, and she herself is from the UK.

Dick: She's been a fixture around here ever since the first round of the Women's World Cup, where she more than held her own.

("TKO" hits and Zoe Alexander makes her way to the ring.)

Skippy: Zoe came close to winning the Ladies' Championship at Melee, though thankfully that didn't happen for this member of the David Caldwell Project.

Dick: There have been no pillow fight matches or lingerie matches for the title yet, and we aim to keep it that way in MECCA.

("Take It Off" hits and Kelly Schweickart makes her way to the ring.)

Skippy: The Ladies' Champion will go on to defend the belt against Shadow at the MECCA Challenge III should she win tonight, and Kelly plans on being very prevalent at the big event.

Dick: Any one of these ladies are strong contenders for the title, but Kelly is on a roll right now. Who knows what's going to happen with three challengers at once?

(FINISH: Chandler gives Zoe a back suplex, and Zoe rolls out of the ring. She goes for a clothesline on Lisa, but she ducks and hits a floatover DDT. Kelly attacks her and gives her a dropkick. She whips Lisa into the ropes, but Lisa ducks a clothesline and sails through the ropes with the Letty Press onto Zoe on the outside. Chandler forearms Kelly from behind and lifts her into a firewoman's carry. Kelly escapes and executes a rolling clutch into a pinning combination for the three count.)

Winner: Kelly Schweickart

Skippy: Kelly is successful, and now will go on to defend against Shadow on April 28!

Dick: Good ring presence shown by the Ladies' Champion. She saw that two of her opponents were down on the outside, and she got the quick victory while no one was around to break it up.

Skippy: Still to come, the Toughman Gauntlet, but up next we'll attempt to hear from Delirious!

(Commercial Break)

(Backstage, Bill Bicknell is standing by with Delirious, who is crouched down and rocking back and forth.)

Bill: I was told by the Human Tornado to come down here, because apparently Delirious has something to say. Delirious, what is on your mind tonight?

Delirious: Baba naba etcheni Cynric! Two weeks ago ya bota me ova ah afta match. Last week ya asuolta Human Tornado! Next week, Delirious wanna taba indarin wi YOU! Cynric!

Bill: I... I think... are you challenging Cynric for next week?

Delirious: Bah! Bah! Bah!

(Delirious goes nuts and runs out of the room.)

Bill: It looks like some kind of challenge has been handed down to Cynric from Delirious. Could we see them compete one on one next week on Go Time? I'll try to get more out of him, and hopefully we'll have something later this week on what he said.

(Elsewhere, the Surgeons and Matt Sydal enter Katie Piehl's office, where she is talking on the phone.)

Katie: I've gotta go. Bye.

Stryker: You wanted to see us, Ms. Piehl?

Katie: Yes. First off, Matt Sydal, welcome back to MECCA.

Sydal: Thank you. It's good to be back.

Katie: Now, I'm sure you saw that in your absence, both Stryker and Walters got Toughman Title shots in your place. And we're going to be crowning a new number one contender tonight. But whoever wins the Toughman Gauntlet tonight will be the number one contender... after next week. Because you, Matt, never got the rematch you were promised for Melee. So next week, it will be Matt Sydal vs. Joey Sprinklers, Toughman Title on the line, and to make sure that Joey doesn't pull any of his tricks, I've assigned two special enforcers... Matt Stryker and John Walters.

Sydal: That's excellent. Thank you, Ms. Piehl. I know I can bring back some honor to the Toughman Championship once I win it next week.

Walters: And speaking for myself, I really hope that Joey tries to pull something next week, because after you win that match, Matt, I'm going to exact a little revenge of my own on his ass.

Stryker: Yeah, don't worry about a thing. Next week is the end of Joey Sprinklers as Toughman Champion.

(Commercial Break)

(In the arena, "Destroy" hits and Nykk makes his way to the ring.)

Skippy: We're set for our main event to crown a number one contender to the Toughman Championship, and it looks like Nykk will be our first entrant into the Toughman Gauntlet!

Dick: The way this works is that two men start out, and every two minutes another man comes to the ring. Once all men have entered the ring, eliminations can occur by pinfall, submission or knockout, just like any Toughman Title match. The last man will be our new number one contender!

("Pajamarama" hits and Huh makes his way to the ring, along with David Caldwell.)

Skippy: Huh is our next participant, and you know Nykk is salivating at this opportunity to get his hands on a member of the David Caldwell Project, and he'll be in the ring with him for the entire match.

Dick: Whoever wins this will get their title shot at the winner of the Joey Sprinklers vs. Matt Sydal match slated for next week.

(FINISH: After two minutes, Jamie Chan makes his way to the ring. Then Dusty Schneble, then Trent Acid, then Cynric, then Jay Crowe, then Delirious, then Alan Mayse, and finally Johnny Kashmere. Kashmere ends up being the first man eliminated, after being hit with Final Darkness and pinned by Jay. Nykk is the next man out after being low blowed by Huh, and being draped throat first over the top rope by Chan. Chan hangs onto Nykk's neck from outside the ring while Huh holds his body in place. Finally, the ref signals that Nykk is out cold. However, when Chan springboards back into the ring, Jay hits him with a spinning heel kick. Delirious hits Shadows Over Hell on Chan and pins him. Next, Mayse eliminates Huh with a Tiger Bomb and pin. Jay is out after a Yakuza Kick from Acid knocks him out. Dusty is pinned a few minutes later after a Lift Off from Cynric. However, as he gets up, Delirious hits him with a running kick to the face that knocks him out cold. The refs pull him out of the ring, but Cynric regains his composure quickly and tries to get at Delirious, but the refs hold him back as Delirious baits him. He turns around into a small package from Mayse and gets pinned. Mayse and Acid go at it, and eventually Acid gets the better of Alan. He whips him into the ropes and puts his head down, and Alan goes for another Tiger Bomb. Acid escapes and lands on his feet. He kicks Alan in the midsection, kicks him in the face and then tries a roaring forearm, but Alan ducks. He drops Acid on his head with an exploder suplex and then applies the Maysochist. Acid is forced to tap out.)

Winner: Alan Mayse

Skippy: Alan Mayse is on his way to getting back the title he was cheated out of, and if I were Joey Sprinklers, I'd be looking over my shoulder right about now.

Dick: But if Sydal wins the title next week, we could be seeing Sydal and Alan going at it in the future.

Skippy: That's all we have for you tonight, fans. Next week we'll see that match between Joey and Sydal, but until then, good night!
