Nykk b. Johnny Kashmere

("Neocon" opening.)

Skippy: MECCA comes back to Toledo, Ohio, tonight and we proudly present Go Time! I'm Skippy, along with Dick Broccoli, and tonight we'll see Kevin Stone take on Jamie Chan in a Submission Match! And then in the main event, the American Dragon Bryan Danielson takes on one half of the former MECCA Tag Team Champions, Anubis!

Dick: Stone has to win if he wants Huh at Melee, and Caldwell made this a Submission Match because Stone is not a submission wrestler. Also tonight, the Women's World Cup continues in the lower brackets as Canada takes on Germany when Gail Kim collides with Wesna. And also, for the first time in the tournament, two American wrestlers go at it one on one when Lisa Letty takes on Daizee Haze, and that match happens right now!

("Sensi" hits and Daizee Haze makes her way to the ring.)

Skippy: Daizee was impressive in the upper brackets, and lost only because of the cheating ways of Rebecca Knox, who is now going to the finals at the MECCA Challenge III.

Dick: Daizee definitely wants to avenge that loss, much like Lisa Letty, who also faced Knox in the upper brackets.

("Edge of Seventeen" hits and Lisa Letty makes her way to the ring.)

Skippy: Lisa made it past Zoe Alexander and LuFisto last week, and LuFisto has been hurt so bad recently that she's taking an indefinite hiatus from wrestling, and we don't know if she'll ever be back.

Dick: Lisa didn't come out unscathed either, as she appeared to re-injure that knee that Knox worked over in the first round.

(FINISH: Daizee goes for the Yakuza Kick, but Lisa bats her foot aside and whips her into the corner. She hits a running forearm and goes for a second rope bulldog, but Daizee ducks and Lisa lands on her feet. However, her knee buckles and she goes down. She tells the ref she's all right, and when Daizee picks her up, she rolls her up with an inside cradle for two. Lisa limps to her feet and kicks Daizee, going for the Letty Driver. However, she can't hold Daizee up with a bad knee, and Daizee gets a double leg takedown, somersaulting into a jackknife pin, holding onto Lisa's good leg so that she can't kick out and gets the three count.)

Winner: Daizee Haze

Skippy: Daizee stays alive in the Women's World Cup, and it looks like Lisa's knee was just in too bad of shape. It's a shame that an injury suffered as the result of a deception on the part of her first round opponent has cost her the entire tournament.

Dick: That's how the leaves fall, though, as Daizee will go on to face the winner of Wesna/Kim later on.

(Daizee helps Lisa up and shakes her hand before helping her out of the ring.)

(Backstage, the Backseat Boyz are in front of a camera.)

Kashmere: Pyro Twins, we announced it last week, and we already have our partners for the eight-man tag at Melee. But before we get to that, Nykk, on Rundown I was so close to beating you that I could taste it. And tonight, I get another chance. So get ready, because up next, I'm taking you down and marking my place in the singles division just like my partner did last summer.

Acid: That's exactly right, and without further adieu, our partners for Melee...

(Andy Nathans and Jack Fletcher enter.)

Acid: The UK Wrecking Crew!

Nathans: Are you surprised, Pyro Twins? Our feud may be over, but we will never pass up an opportunity to take you out.

Fletcher: Mates, just know that you have your four biggest rivals across the ring from you on March 17, and no one you choose can change the fact that we're going to destroy you at Melee!

(Commercial Break)

(In the arena, "The Chase" hits and Johnny Kashmere makes his way to the ring, along with Trent Acid.)

Skippy: We're back, and this is a rematch from this week's Rundown, in which Nykk defeated one half of the Backseat Boyz in Johnny Kashmere.

Dick: Kashmere feels confident that with one more match he can get the victory, but he's dealing with Nykk, former co-owner of MECCA and one of the most dangerous competitors here.

("Destroy" hits and Nykk makes his way to the ring.)

Skippy: Nykk is on his way to Melee to destroy Bryan Danielson, and last week we found out that this dream match will be the main event.

Dick: We'll see Danielson take on Anubis later on, but you know that both these men will be watching the other's match intently tonight.

(FINISH: Kashmere hits the Most Requested Neckbreaker, but Nykk gets his foot on the bottom rope when he covers. Kashmere whips Nykk into the ropes and goes for a spear, but Nykk sidesteps him and kicks Kashmere in the face. He hits a tiger slam and goes for the Cedarleaf, but Acid enters the ring. He goes for a Yakuza Kick on Nykk, but Nykk slingshots Kashmere out of the Cedarleaf and into Acid's foot. As Acid checks on Kashmere, Nykk sends him down with a running back elbow and applies the Cedarleaf on Kashmere, who taps out.)

Winner: Nykk

Skippy: Just like on Rundown Nykk picks up the victory, but with the unwilling assist of Trent Acid.

Dick: Nykk better watch himself, because the Backseats aren't going to take this one lying down!

(Acid attacks Nykk from behind as he's celebrating and gives him a roaring forearm. He and Acid give Nykk the Tag Team Dream Sequence and celebrate over his body. However, Kevin Stone runs in and clotheslines both Backseats. He lifts Kashmere into a military press and drops him into a powerslam, and then gives Acid a big boot. The Backseats flee while Stone checks on Nykk.)

Skippy: Kevin Stone is once again here to make the save, and it's a good thing, because Nykk could have been in a bad way there.

Dick: Stone has a Submission Match up against Jamie Chan next, and one can only imagine how he plans to deal with that.

Skippy: That match will take place next!

(Backstage, Zoe Alexander and Shadow are arguing.)

Zoe: I've been holding my own for well over six months in MECCA, and I deserve this shot at the Ladies' Title. And nothing you can say...

Shadow: Excuse me? I'm a former two-time Ladies' Champion, and you're talking about what you deserve? I'm the rightful champion, I wasn't even beaten...

Zoe: I don't see a belt on your shoulder, and our boss named me the number one contender...

(Kelly Schweickart enters.)

Kelly: Ladies! I'm getting kind of sick about hearing who's the rightful champion or who's going to be the next champion. I'm the one with the title, and though you may not take me seriously, you will. How about next week we have a little non-title Triangle Match? We'll see who comes out on top and who gets the bragging rights going into Melee.

Zoe: That's fine with me. Your days as champion are numbered, but with a match next week, it will make my job that much easier.

Shadow: Don't think by beating me next week that you'll be any more of a champion in my eyes, because when I beat you in the middle of the ring, Piehl and Caldwell will have no choice but to give me my rematch. You're both on for next week.

(Shadow leaves.)

(Commercial Break)

(Kevin Stone is in the ring, and has the mic.)

Stone: Hey, David Caldwell Project... this goes out especially to you, Huh. You blindsided me a couple of weeks ago and hurt me pretty bad. But obviously you didn't finish the job. And now if I want you, I have to go through with this Submission Match. I am not a submission wrestler; but if Jamie Chan and David Caldwell want it that way, I'm damn sure game and I guess I'll just have to beat the hell out of you until you give up. But since you chose the stipulation, Caldwell, I've been told by Katie Piehl that I choose the stipulation for the match with Huh, should I win. And I just want you to know, Huh, that I want you in an Anything Goes match!

("On the Speedway" hits and Jamie Chan makes his way to the ring, along with David Caldwell.)

Skippy: Stone had some strong words for the David Caldwell Project, but if he wins this match, he'll be able to get his revenge on Huh in a match with no count-outs or disqualifications.

Dick: However, he was right that Stone has very little submission experience, while Chan has been adding holds to his repertoire for a couple of months now. Stone may be at the disadvantage in this match.

(FINISH: Chan has Stone in a triangle hold, but Stone turns over and gets to his feet, lifting Chan into the air and then falling back and slamming him to the mat. They get up, and Stone hits Chan with right hands. He whips him into the ropes, but Chan slides between his legs and hits him with a jumping spin kick. Stone staggers back into the corner, and Chan charges right into a big boot from Stone. He staggers to the middle of the ring, and Stone bounces off the ropes and hits him with a clothesline to the back of the head. He gives Chan the Monster Bomb and then applies a sleeper hold, lifting Chan off his feet. Chan hangs there for a few moments, legs flailing, and Stone squeezes even harder. Finally, Chan taps out and Stone drops him to the mat.)

Winner: Kevin Stone

Skippy: Stone has pulled it off, and now he gets Huh at Melee, in an Anything Goes Match!

Dick: Those arms of stone, no pun intended, were a lot more lethal than Chan or Caldwell counted on. That had to be excruciating.

Skippy: The MECCA Monster is pleased that he gets to face Huh and get some payback, but up next our other match in the Women's World Cup, as Gail Kim will take on Wesna.

(Backstage, Bill Bicknell is standing by with the Pyro Twins.)

Bill: Jay, Dusty, earlier on we saw that the Backseat Boyz have chosen your old nemeses the UK Wrecking Crew to be on their team for Melee. And I also understand that you have an answer for us as to your partners.

Jay: First of all, Backseat Boyz, that was a smart move for a change. No one knows us better in the ring than Nathans and Fletcher. No doubt they've also told you what it feels like when we're really pissed off. But UK Wrecking Crew, you will never get the better of us again, and especially not on March 17.

Dusty: We scoured the locker room looking for partners, and we made a decision. Our partners are former tag team champions; they're an up and coming young team in this business; and they took us to the limit in the past. Our partners are the Wild Wolf and Anubis, the Killer Kanines! Backseat Boyz, UK Wrecking Crew, you've got the best two teams in the business right now coming for you. The only thing you can do is face it. Don't hide in any dark corners, because we may just light up the room in our own way.

Bill: There you have it, the partners have been decided for Melee in Toronto. It will be the Pyro Twins and the Killer Kanines vs. The Backseat Boyz and the UK Wrecking Crew. Four of MECCA's top tag teams collide in just ten days!

(Commercial Break)

(In the office, Katie Piehl is signing off on some contracts when there's a knock at the door and Matt Sydal comes in.)

Sydal: Ms. Piehl.

Katie: Hey Matt, what can I do for you?

Sydal: I'm sure you saw my match with Joey two weeks ago, right? I didn't even do anything to cheat, but he got me disqualified. Well, I think the only fair thing to do is to give me a rematch, for the Toughman Title, at Melee.

Katie: It's true that Joey has been acting pretty dastardly lately, and I think you definitely deserve a rematch. So in Toronto, you've got your shot. Make the most of it.

Sydal: Thank you, Ms. Piehl. I promise that I'll do MECCA proud and bring some honor back to the Toughman Title.

(Sydal leaves.)

(In the arena, "Firestarter" hits and Wesna makes her way to the ring.)

Skippy: The rematch has been made, Joey Sprinklers vs. Matt Sydal for the Toughman Title at Melee, and right now it's getting to the point in this Women's World Cup where the ladies who are left can taste it.

Dick: Wesna made it all the way to the semi-finals of the upper brackets before falling to Sara Del Rey, and if she can win this match and the match against Daizee next week, she will get her rematch against Del Rey at Melee.

("Brackish" hits and Gail Kim makes her way to the ring.)

Skippy: The Sensation of Submission wants to win over the next two weeks and go on to her hometown to win the lower brackets, and the fans have really gotten behind her since she stood up to Rebecca Knox a couple weeks back.

Dick: Kim is determined to win the World Cup, and if either woman loses, that's it for them in this tournament.

(FINISH: Wesna dropkicks Kim and she rolls to the outside. Wesna follows her, and tries a heel kick. Kim catches her foot and rams her knee into the ring post. She rolls Wesna back in and covers for a two count. Kim goes for the Stretch Muffler, but Wesna makes it to the ropes. Kim picks her up and whips her into the ropes, but Wesna ducks a clothesline and hits a back suplex. She goes for the CB4, but Kim escapes and clips the knee. She applies the Stretch Muffler in the center of the ring, and Wesna taps out.)

Winner: Gail Kim

Skippy: Gail Kim has done it, and now will face off with Daizee Haze next week!

Dick: What a win for the Sensation of Submission, and Gail Kim is on a roll once again here in MECCA.

Skippy: When we come back, we'll hear from the American Dragon Bryan Danielson about his main event with Anubis. Stay with us!

(Commercial Break)

(In the office, Katie Piehl is talking with David Caldwell.)

Katie: Anyway, Caldwell, like I said, with our MECCA Champion gone for Melee, that means we need as much star power and title matches on the show as we can get, so there has to be a tag title defense from the CDT.

Caldwell: No way, Katie, they only have to defend the belts once a month, and we have the entire month...

Katie: No buts, Caldwell, it's happening at Melee.

Caldwell: All right, fine, but since you made the Toughman Title match, I get to pick the CDT's opponents. And I pick the Human Tornado and Delirious!

Katie: Tornado and Delirious...

Caldwell: What?

Katie: No disrespect against them, they're two talented kids, but... they haven't exactly had the greatest win/loss record as a team.

Caldwell: Don't worry about it, Katie, I'm sure it will be a tremendous match. Now if you'll excuse me, my main man Bryan has a big match coming up and I've got to be out there.

(Caldwell leaves.)

(Elsewhere, Bill Bicknell is standing by with Bryan Danielson.)

Bill: I'm here with the American Dragon Bryan Danielson, and Bryan, up next you're in the main event against Anubis, and then at Melee you have Nykk one on one in the main event. How are you feeling about these two huge matches?

Danielson: First of all, Nykk, I saw your match earlier and yeah, you may be a great technical wrestler, but you're nowhere near my level. I'm the best wrestler in the world, and even though you hatched that plan to steal my spot on the Contender Star two months ago, now I've got you one on one and I'm taking that spot back. As for Anubis tonight, you may be bigger than me, you may strike hard, but don't think for one minute that you're smarter than me. I'm a thinking man's wrestler, and tonight my motto is, "The bigger they are, the harder they fall." And you're going to fall hard tonight, Anubis. And I will walk out of the arena tonight with another notch on my belt, because yet another MECCA competitor has fallen to one of David Caldwell Sports Entertainment's entertainers. And you can just let that eat away at you forever for all I care.

(Commercial Break)

(In the arena, "The Final Countdown" hits and Bryan Danielson makes his way to the ring, accompanied by David Caldwell.)

Skippy: It's main event time, and this is a big match for the American Dragon to take just a couple of weeks before his encounter with Nykk at Melee.

Dick: Danielson is coming face to face with the largest man in MECCA, and a win here would certainly help him build momentum for March 17.

("Kobrakai" hits and Anubis makes his way to the ring, accompanied by the Wild Wolf.)

Skippy: Anubis isn't about to come alone with David Caldwell out here, and maybe the Wild Wolf will keep Caldwell on his best behavior.

Dick: This is a revenge situation for Anubis, as it was Danielson who cost he and Wolf the tag titles to the CDT, but if he makes revenge his primary motivation, Danielson will capitalize.

(FINISH: Anubis sets up for the Ankh Smash, but Caldwell grabs his leg. Wolf runs around the ring to go after Caldwell, but Jamie Chan emerges from the crowd and attacks Wolf. As they fight, Danielson charges Anubis, who gives him a spinebuster. He goes for an ocean cyclone suplex, but is too close to the ropes and as the ref is dealing with the Wolf/Chan fight, Caldwell gives Anubis a low blow. Anubis goes down, and Danielson comes down on top of him, nailing him in the head with elbows. Anubis gets to his feet and lifts Danielson in a fireman's carry, but Danielson counters into a swinging DDT, and then continues with elbows until the ref pulls Danielson off and calls for the bell.)

Winner: Bryan Danielson

Skippy: Danielson has won it thanks to interference from his new manager, and now Danielson goes on to the main event of Melee to face off against Nykk.

Dick: Anubis almost had the best "entertainer" in the world, but there are always just too many Project members running around for two men to handle.

Skippy: Fans, pleas join us next week as we count down to Melee, and we'll have much more action for you, including a non-title Triangle Match between Kelly Schweickart, Shadow and Zoe Alexander. We'll see you then!
