("Neocon" opening.)
Skippy: Tonight, MECCA returns to Ft. Wayne, Indiana, as we present Go Time here on FSN! I'm Skippy, along with Dick Broccoli, and tonight we'll see the winner of the Six Man Apocalypse in action as Ronin Fox takes on Matt Stryker!
Dick: And of course, Joey Sprinklers will put the Toughman Title on the line against Matt Sydal.
Skippy: The Women's World Cup continues with two Triangle Matches in the lower brackets, we'll hear from Katie Piehl regarding the Pyro Twins/Backseat Boyz situation and much more right here tonight.
("Clavicle" hits and Matt Sydal makes his way to the ring.)
Skippy: Matt Sydal will be the first man to challenge the new Toughman Champion, and he is on a roll recently with a win over Jamie Chan last week, as well as being very impressive in the Six Man Apocalypse back on February 10.
Dick: Sydal has yet to win gold here in MECCA, and this is a prime opportunity against a man he knows very well.
("Hit That" hits and Joey Sprinklers skateboards his way to the ring.)
Skippy: Joey Sprinklers finally achieved his dream of winning MECCA gold at Bloody Valentine when he managed to pin Alan Mayse's shoulders to the mat and win the Toughman Title, and I've heard that Mayse is still seething over that loss, and will finally return to action when Rundown returns in a few days.
Dick: He'll no doubt want a rematch against Joey, but if Sydal wins the title tonight, who knows who Mayse will go after first.
(FINISH: Sydal goes for the Cyclorama, but Joey pushes him to the mat. He tries a double axehandle, but Sydal gives him a spinning heel kick. He goes for the Here It Is Driver, but Joey counters into a rollup for a close two count. He clotheslines Sydal and then goes outside the ring, getting a chair. The ref tells him that there are no foreign objects allowed, but Joey shoves the official to the mat. He takes a swing at Sydal, but Sydal ducks and hits Joey with three rights. He drops the chair and whips Joey into the ropes. He tries a clothesline, but Joey rolls to avoid it and grabs the chair, throwing it at Matt. He catches the chair just as the ref turns around to see Joey ram himself head first into it. The ref thinks that Sydal hit Joey with the chair and calls for the bell.)
Winner: Joey Sprinklers
Skippy: Joey just tricked Sydal into disqualifying himself, and Joey will retain the Toughman Championship!
Dick: What a ruse by Joey, and Sydal can't believe it. I guess he felt like he was losing control and it would be better to live and fight another day.
(Joey escapes with the belt while Sydal tries to explain to the ref what happened.)
(In the office, Katie Piehl is standing between the Pyro Twins and the Backseat Boyz.)
Katie: I called you four here tonight because I heard what you two said, Dusty and Jay, and I have no doubt that you meant every word. But I will not have a debacle after what happened last year at the MECCA Challenge II. So to keep history from repeating itself, I'm going to go ahead and book the match at the MECCA Challenge III, the Pyro Twins vs. The Backseat Boyz.
Acid: Come on, Katie...
Katie: No arguments, you two, I'm doing this to protect you. But Dusty, Jay, I know you don't want to wait that long, so how about this match for Melee... an eight-man dream partner tag. You four can choose any tag team you want to team up with you.
(Jay and Dusty confer while Acid and Kashmere argue with Katie.)
Jay: Katie, you've got yourself a match.
Dusty: And as for you two, Acid, Kashmere, don't think for one second this is going to make us show any mercy. At Melee, you die. At the MECCA Challenge III, we damn your souls to eternal torment.
(The Pyro Twins leave.)
Katie: Look you guys, I know you don't want to do this, but this is MECCA, and only the tough survive. But I know I can't force you, so about this... if you do these two matches, due to your great record thus far in MECCA, I'll make you number one contenders to the tag titles.
(Kashmere and Acid exchange a look.)
Kashmere: All right, Katie, we'll do this, but after the MECCA Challenge, we want that tag title shot.
Katie: You have my word.
(Commercial Break)
(Backstage, David Caldwell is standing around the catering area with Huh.)
Caldwell: I know you haven't been able to eat as much recently, but it's called training, and you're going to need it when Stone inevitably comes after you...
(Jack Fletcher enters.)
Fletcher: Excuse me, Mr. Caldwell.
Caldwell: Yes?
Fletcher: I don't know if you've noticed, but no members of the UKWC are booked tonight, so I was wondering if you could do me a big favor. Last week, it was me who got the fall over Eddie Crowe, the MECCA Champion, in that six-man tag. Pinning the champion means big things, and tonight, I want a shot at the World Title.
Caldwell: And what have you ever done for me? Why would I give you this match?
Fletcher: I deserve it...
Caldwell: That remains to be seen, but I'll tell you what. You can have a title shot tonight, even though Katie and I are supposed to agree on any wild card challengers, she can kiss my ass. Anything to take her off her game, anything to get under her skin, I will take the opportunity. Now get out of here.
Fletcher: Thank you, sir.
(Fletcher leaves.)
(In the arena, "TKO" hits and Zoe Alexander makes her way to the ring.)
Skippy: The Women's World Cup continues with the lower brackets, and we just found out that Zoe Alexander's boss, David Caldwell, has okayed a World Title shot for Jack Fletcher here tonight.
Dick: Fletcher did get the fall over Eddie Crowe last week, but he's doing this without Katie Piehl's permission. He knows she won't deprive the fans of a match already promised.
("What You Waiting For" hits and LuFisto makes her way to the ring.)
Skippy: LuFisto was seriously injured in her Ladies' Title match two weeks ago, but she's right back here competing in the Women's World Cup.
Dick: It may not be wise, but she can't let all her Canadian fans down, and the former Ladies' Champion's pride will not let her quit.
("Edge of Seventeen" hits and Lisa Letty makes her way to the ring.)
Skippy: The First Lady of MECCA eliminated three other competitors last week, and here's her chance to eliminate two more.
Dick: Of course, Lisa and LuFisto are no strangers, as it was LuFisto who helped initially train Lisa Letty, and they had a storied rivalry back in 2005, before finally reconciling last year.
(FINISH: Lisa goes for the Letty Driver on LuFisto, but Zoe clips her knee, causing LuFisto to land awkwardly on her head. Zoe clotheslines LuFisto out of the ring and picks up Lisa, lifting her for the Zoetrope. Lisa escapes and forearms Zoe in the back, and then hits the Clockstopper. She covers and gets the three count.)
Winner: Lisa Letty
Skippy: Lisa has done it again, but it looks like Zoe re-aggravated her knee injury, as she is noticeably limping.
Dick: And LuFisto may have been hurt even worse as a result of Zoe. But both of them are now eliminated from the World Cup, and next week Lisa moves on to take on Daizee Haze.
Skippy: When we return, Ronin Fox will take on Matt Stryker, and still to come, Jack Fletcher challenges Eddie Crowe for the MECCA Championship!
(Lisa blows a kiss to the fans as the ref helps her from the ring.)
(Commercial Break)
(In the office, Katie Piehl is poring over some documents, looking disheveled, when Nykk enters.)
Nykk: Hey, Katie, what's the matter?
Katie: Well, first off Caldwell just promised everyone this title match tonight, just because he knows it's going to throw me off, but I really don't see any way around it. Then we're not going to have Eddie, Cynric, Fox or Alan for Melee, because they'll all be over in a tour for England.
Nykk: That's four main eventers not here, but that's why I came to see you, Katie. I don't just want to beat Danielson, I want to beat him in the main event. And since we'll have no MECCA Championship match for Melee, I say you make our match the main event.
Katie: That's actually a good idea. Two of the best technical wrestlers out there today going head to head in a dream match. That definitely makes up for the absences.
Nykk: I promise you, I won't disappoint. And then, for the MECCA Challenge III, I say we come up with something to end this David Caldwell Project once and for all.
Katie: I'm open to any suggestions.
(In the arena, "Body Bomb" hits and Matt Stryker makes his way to the ring.)
Skippy: Bryan Danielson vs. Nykk will be the main event of Melee, coming up March 17 live on FSN, but Go Time continues with more singles action as Matt Stryker attempts to make an impression.
Dick: Stryker of course has found success with John Walters as the Surgeons, but both of them like to branch out every now and then and compete in the singles division. And in Stryker's case, it was Fox who eliminated him from the Six Man Apocalypse, and he's looking at this match as a chance for some payback.
("Did My Time" hits and Ronin Fox makes his way to the ring.)
Skippy: Here comes the winner of the Six Man Apocalypse, and the man who will main event the MECCA Challenge III, as Ronin Fox will get a World Title match.
Dick: Fox has some great momentum, and he's going to want to add to that right here tonight.
(FINISH: Stryker goes for the Stryker Driver, but Fox escapes and hits a neckbreaker. He goes for the Tail End, but Stryker slams Fox to the mat. He goes for the Stryker Lock, but Fox makes it to the ropes. Stryker picks him up and hits a German suplex. He rolls through for another one, but Fox grabs the ref to get his attention and tries to kick back for a low blow. Stryker avoids it and rolls Fox up with a backslide for a two count. Fox goes for a piledriver, but Stryker backdrops him. However, Fox lands on his feet and bounces off the ropes, hitting the Tail End on Stryker. He covers and gets the three count.)
Winner: Ronin Fox
Skippy: Ronin Fox picks up the victory, and it's definitely his time to shine here in MECCA.
Dick: Fox has never lost in his previous title bids against Eddie, though he never won the title either, but we shouldn't overlook the fact that Jack Fletcher could take the belt from Eddie tonight and go on to be Fox's opponent.
Skippy: We'll be back in a few minutes, so don't go away!
(Commercial Break)
(Backstage, Kevin Stone is pounding on the dressing room door.)
Stone: Huh! I know you're in there. You'd better come out right now, or I swear I will break this door down!
(David Caldwell comes out of the dressing room.)
Caldwell: Chill out, Kevin, if this door gets broken, you're paying for it yourself.
Stone: Caldwell, that pudgy bastard of yours attacked me two weeks ago, and I want him in the ring!
Caldwell: No way. Huh's been impressive lately, and there's no way I'm having him face you on your terms. But I'll tell you what... if you want him so bad, face Jamie Chan next week. If you can get by him, I'll give you Huh at Melee.
Stone: That sounds fine.
Caldwell: Well, since you already agreed, now I'll tell you the rest of the condition. You'll get Huh if you beat Jamie Chan next week, but that match will be a Submission Match. And since you don't specialize in one single submission, I'd say you're in for a bit of a fight, pal.
(Caldwell goes back in the dressing room and slams the door.)
(Elsewhere, Bill Bicknell is standing by with the Backseat Boyz.)
Bill: Trent Acid, Johnny Kashmere, earlier on you agreed to a match with the Pyro Twins at the MECCA Challenge III, and you also agreed to a dream partners eight-man tag at Melee, and I understand you have an announcement about that.
Kashmere: That's right. Jay, Dusty, we've already proven we can beat you in the ring, and that makes us the best team in the world. But we have no problem doing it again at the MECCA Challenge III, and although we do have a problem with this eight-man tag, we're getting a title shot out of it so it's all good.
Acid: Pyro Twins, you and I have quite a history dating back to way before Johnny joined me here in MECCA. And for this eight-man tag coming up, we just wanted to let you know that we've already chosen our partners. And we'll reveal them next week. Until then, think about all the beatings we've given you and be prepared, because that's nothing compared to what we have in store for you with two extra guys on our side.
(In the arena, "Bad Reputation" hits and Nikki Chandler makes her way to the ring.)
Skippy: We continue the Women's World Cup lower brackets with another Triangle Match, and here comes the newest member of the UK Wrecking Crew as of last week, Nikki Chandler.
Dick: We'll see if joining the UKWC gives her the confidence to make good in the lower brackets, because if she loses, she's out of the tournament.
("Brackish" hits and Gail Kim makes her way to the ring.)
Skippy: The former Ladies' Champion stayed alive last week, but she has a long way to go if she wants to win through the lower brackets.
Dick: She'll also be coming face to face with the woman who eliminated her from the upper brackets.
("Butterfly Magic" hits and Mariko Yoshida makes her way to the ring.)
Skippy: It was Mariko Yoshida who put away Gail in the first round, and she plans on going back to Japan as the winner of the World Cup.
Dick: It's Canada vs. The UK vs. Japan right now, and only one can advance and bring pride to their home country.
(FINISH: Yoshida hits Chandler with the Air Raid Crash, and then goes for a double underhook facebuster on Gail. Gail backdrops her over the top rope, and she lands on the apron. Gail gives her an enzugiri, and Yoshida falls to the floor, landing hard. Chandler gets Kim from behind with a neckbreaker over the knee, and whips her into the corner. She charges, but Gail gets a boot up and then gives Chandler a Tornado DDT, covering for the three count.)
Winner: Gail Kim
Skippy: Gail Kim wins it and sends the other two ladies home! We want to thank Ms. Yoshida for honoring us with her participation in this tournament, and of course Chandler will be sticking around as part of the UK Wrecking Crew.
Dick: Kim now goes on to face Wesna next week, just as we will see Daizee Haze vs. Lisa Letty.
Skippy: We'll be right back with our main event. The World Title is on the line as Eddie Crowe takes on Jack Fletcher!
(Commercial Break)
(Backstage, Kelly Schweickart is talking to Lisa Letty near the catering table.)
Kelly: So anyway, how's the knee holding up?
Lisa: It hurts a lot, actually, and I've still got Daizee next week, and the winner of Kim/Wesna, and Del Rey after that. But hopefully I'll be feeling better by that time. But look at you, new Ladies' Champion. Has it sunk in yet?
Kelly: I still get goosebumps when I think about it. This is more than I could have ever dreamed of accomplishing when I started in MECCA, and...
(Shadow enters.)
Shadow: Blah, blah, blah. Kelly Schwelker, or whatever you call yourself, the reason you get goosebumps isn't because you're Ladies' Champion. It's because you're feeling the anxiety of just when I'm going to come and take back the belt that's rightfully mine.
Kelly: How do you figure?
Shadow: Let's see, I was never pinned, I never gave up, you've never beaten me, therefore I consider myself the uncrowned champion.
Kelly: Is that so? I won this belt fair and square according to the rules of the match. If you have a problem with that, take it up with the matchmakers. But you can rest assured, Shadow... this week on Rundown, I've got my first defense against Heather Star. After that, I've got Zoe Alexander at Melee, but when all that's done, I'm getting a match with you as soon as possible so I can erase any doubts in your mind as to your current position in the ladies' division. And I'm telling you right now, it's not champion.
(Kelly and Lisa walk away, leaving Shadow to stare coldly after them.)
(In the arena, "Problems" hits and Jack Fletcher makes his way to the ring, along with Andy Nathans.)
Skippy: It's time for our World Title match, and it looks like Fletcher has chosen a second to come to the ring with him in the form of his partner Andy Nathans.
Dick: Fletcher was able to score the fall over Eddie Crowe in a six-man tag last week, and he used that as his reasoning to be granted a title shot, but really he's only getting this opportunity because Caldwell wants to make Katie Piehl's life difficult.
("Noots" hits and Eddie Crowe makes his way to the ring, along with Jay Crowe.)
Skippy: Our MECCA World Champion has had his problems with the UK Wrecking Crew in the past, and his second Jay definitely has.
Dick: Old rivalries could ignite out here, and with Jay seconding Eddie, that's as literal as it can sound.
Jared: Ladies and gentlemen, this is your Go Time main event! This contest is scheduled for one fall, and it is for the MECCA World Heavyweight Championship! Introducing first, the challenger... from Liverpool, England, and weighing in at 202 lbs... he is a former two-time MECCA Tag Team Champion... Jaaaack Fletcheeeeer! And his opponent... from Bellbrook, Ohio, and weighing in at 195 lbs... he is the current reigning and defending MECCA World Heavyweight Champion... Eddieeeee Croooooowe!
(FINISH: Eddie goes for the Gutwrench Driver, but Fletcher lands on his feet and whips Eddie into the corner. He hits a running big boot and then goes for the Union Jack. However, Eddie escapes and plants Fletcher with the Backslide Bomb. He hits a running brainbuster and then hits the Eddie Dive, covering for the three count.)
Winner: Eddie Crowe
Skippy: Eddie Crowe retains once again, and it's looking more and more likely that the main event for the MECCA Challenge III will be Eddie Crowe vs. Ronin Fox once again.
Dick: Fletcher put up a fight, but he's unused to singles competition, and Eddie has perfected these main event matches to the point where it's like they're custom built for his victory.
Skippy: We'll see you next week in Toledo, and we already know we'll see Kevin Stone vs. Jamie Chan in a Submission Match. Until then, thank you for joining us!
