("Neocon" opening.)
Skippy: Welcome to Go Time, ladies and gentlemen, as presented by MECCA. I'm Skippy, along with Dick Broccoli, and what a tag team main event we have for you tonight here in Bakersfield, California!
Dick: Two brother teams will collide as former tag team champs Ronin Fox and Cynric take on Jay Crowe and the MECCA World Champion Eddie Crowe!
Skippy: We'll also see the upper bracket finals of the Women's World Cup, as Rebecca Knox takes on Sara Del Rey. We'll also hear from the Pyro Twins, and have a Triangle Match for the Ladies' Championship and much more here tonight.
("Afternoon Delight" hits and Huh and Jamie Chan make their way to the ring, along with David Caldwell.)
Skippy: We're kicking things off with the David Caldwell Project, as Huh and Chan are set for tag team action. Last week, they tried to put Nykk out of action, but thank goodness Kevin Stone came out and made the save.
Dick: Huh scored a big win over Nykk, but Nykk got his revenge at Bloody Valentine when he eliminated Huh from the Six Man Apocalypse match.
("Destroy" hits and Nykk and Kevin Stone make their way to the ring.)
Skippy: Nykk and Stone have been teaming together recently, and tonight's about payback for them as they get another shot at doing damage to members of the David Caldwell Project.
Dick: Caldwell needs his guys to follow up on the momentum they've gotten recently, and this will be a good test for Huh and Chan, who want to prove that the David Caldwell Project isn't all about Bryan Danielson.
(FINISH: Stone and Huh go into the crowd as Nykk and Chan slug it out. Nykk whips Chan into the corner, but it's reversed and Chan hits a Saitama Kick, followed by a superkick. He covers Nykk for a two count. He tries a corkscrew moonsault, but Nykk moves out of the way. He gives Chan the Trinity as Stone rams Huh into the guardrail, and bridges on the dragon suplex for the three count.)
Winners: Nykk and Kevin Stone
Skippy: Stone and Nykk win it, and Chan and Huh will have to find some other way to prove themselves to the MECCA fans.
Dick: Caldwell isn't happy about this, but the Project is reeling after taking quite a beating in the Six Man Apocalypse and are definitely not here in full force tonight.
Skippy: When we come back, the UK Wrecking Crew will be here and they will take on... what the hell!?
(Brother Jim suddenly crashes the broadcast booth, pointing wildly at Dick Broccoli, causing him to leave. He steals Skippy's headset and puts it on.)
Brother Jim: Heed my words, fans of MECCA! O-pen your Bibles now! The end is near! All will be held accountable! I implore you to look into your souls and repent! Repent, for when the end comes, you will all be...
(Security drags Brother Jim away.)
(Commercial Break)
(In the arena, "Problems" hits and the UK Wrecking Crew make their way to the ring.)
Skippy: We're back on Go Time, and I don't know what Brother Jim's going on about, but he was carted out of here and thrown out of the building.
Dick: For some reason he showed up in the Six Man Apocalypse out of nowhere too. I think the guy's off his rocker.
Skippy: Anyway, we're continuing with former MECCA Tag Team Champions the UK Wrecking Crew, as they prepare for their contest.
("Cool" hits and the Human Tornado and Delirious make their way to the ring.)
Skippy: Tornado and Delirious are looking to make their mark in the tag team division, and there's no better way to do that than beat two former champs of the caliber of Nathans and Fletcher.
Dick: But they have to watch out for Tristan Lee, who already attacked them once back when he joined the UK Wrecking Crew.
(FINISH: Tornado ducks a clothesline from Fletcher, and he accidentally takes out the ref. Tornado runs and hits a somersault plancha onto Nathans on the floor. Delirious charges Fletcher but gets a back elbow. Tristan Lee runs out, and Fletcher tells him to go up top. He holds Delirious, and Lee tries a missile dropkick. However, Delirious moves and Fletcher gets nailed. Delirious dropkicks Lee out of the ring and then hits a Russian legsweep on Fletcher, segueing into the Cobra Stretch. The ref wakes up in time to see Fletcher tapping, and calls for the bell.)
Winners: The Human Tornado and Delirious
Skippy: Tornado and Delirious with the tap out victory, and what a huge upset!
Dick: Lee's interference backfired this time, and he cost his friends this victory. This isn't good for the UKWC's title prospects.
(Tornado and Delirious celebrate with the fans while Nathans yells at Lee for what just happened.)
Skippy: When we come back, the Ladies' Title will be on the line in a Triangle Match!
(Backstage, Bill Bicknell is standing by with Kevin Stone.)
Bill: Kevin, congratulations on your tag team victory earlier on, but even though you drew the last spot in the Six Man Apocalypse and went to the end, it was Ronin Fox who pulled out the victory and got the title shot at the MECCA Challenge III, the shot that you told Eddie Crowe that you were going after. What lies in store for the MECCA Monster next?
Stone: It's simple. Since I'm not going after the title right now, that means bad news for the David Caldwell Project. You already saw it start tonight, as Nykk and I took out Huh and Jamie Chan. Caldwell, you think you have this business all figured out and you're going to make yourself a rich man by using everyone in this organization. But I won't stand for it. You see, when I...
(Suddenly, Huh attacks from behind with a chair, sending Stone to the floor. Huh keeps hitting Stone with the chair.)
Huh: You think I'm some kind of joke, don't you? Huh? You think you can get rid of me that easily? Huh? I made a name for myself last week at your partner's expense, and now I'm coming to make my name off of you. Huh?
(Huh cracks the chair over Stone's head, knocking him out. He throws down the chair and leaves.)
(Commercial Break)
(In the arena, "What You Waiting For" hits and LuFisto makes her way to the ring.)
Skippy: We are ready for ladies' action, as Katie Piehl has forced Shadow to defend her title against two competitors she has cheated against in the past, and one of them is the former champ LuFisto.
Dick: But what about that attack we saw before the break? Is Stone okay?
Skippy: We'll give everyone an update on Stone when we receive it, but I don't think that Huh picked the right guy to go after if he wants to make a name for himself, because Stone's going to kill him when he wakes up.
("Take It Off" hits and Kelly Schweickart makes her way to the ring.)
Skippy: Kelly Schweickart was also screwed out of the Ladies' Title just this past Saturday, when she thought she had won the belt and even pinned Shadow's shoulders to the mat, but unbeknownst to her, Shadow slipped brass knuckles into her boot and told the ref that she used them. Nikki Alvarado then reversed the decision, and Shadow won the match by DQ.
Dick: Now Kelly has another opportunity at the belt, since Shadow only stated that she wouldn't give her another title shot when she pinned Kelly at Bloody Valentine, which she didn't.
("Gangsta Bitch" hits and Shadow makes her way to the ring.)
Skippy: Shadow is just a tad upset that this match is taking place, but she shouldn't do the crime if she can't do the time.
Dick: She has not one, but two opponents to worry about now, and she doesn't even have to lose the fall to lose the title.
(FINISH: Shadow gets Kelly in the Dragon Sleeper, but before she can drop to her back, LuFisto gets under her and lifts her onto her shoulders, dumping her over the top rope and to the floor. She clotheslines Kelly and then whips her into the ropes, but Kelly reverse and hits a flapjack. She goes to the top rope and hits the Kelly Cyclone, covering LuFisto for the three count.)
Winner: Kelly Schweickart
Skippy: We have a new Ladies' Champion right here on Go Time, as Kelly Schweickart just pinned LuFisto! Congratulations to Kelly!
Dick: What a victory out of nowhere by Kelly, and Shadow has to be hot that she was not even pinned but still lost the title.
(Kelly takes the belt and slides out of the ring, hugging some fans as Shadow climbs back in. She shoves the ref down and yells at her, saying that she wasn't even beaten.)
(Backstage, Bill Bicknell is with the Pyro Twins.)
Bill: Congratulations to Kelly Schweickart, and I'm sure she'll make a fine Ladies' Champion. But joining me at this time are Jay Crowe and Dusty Schneble, the Pyro Twins. You guys came within a hair of regaining the tag titles last week, but thanks to David Caldwell's rule that an undercard match has a five minute time limit, the CDT were able to regain the belts.
Jay: You would think we'd be upset, but we're not, Bill. The way I look at it, at the rate they're going, there's no way the CDT are going to hold onto those belts for long. If we don't eventually take them from them, someone else will and we'll get our shot when the time comes. But right now, we're focused on the Backseat Boyz. In the Six Man Apocalypse, Kashmere, I showed you what's up when I pinned you in the middle of the ring. But then your partner had to go and wreck my chances of getting a title shot at the MECCA Challenge III, and Dusty and I had a little revelation.
Dusty: You see, this all seemed very familiar for us, and we realized why. Back when MECCA first started, we were beaten by the UK Wrecking Crew, who then proceeded to duck us for a year and then we finally got our hands on them and beat them at the MECCA Challenge II. And last November, Acid and Kashmere, you beat us, but we've yet to step in the ring in a regular tag match again. You've both been ducking us, and we've just about had it. That's why we're campaigning for a match at the MECCA Challenge III. Let history repeat itself. You know how it turned out last time.
(Commercial Break)
(In the locker room, the UK Wrecking Crew is gathered.)
Nathans: I can't believe we lost to those two bloody pillocks. What were you thinking with that dropkick, Tristan?
Tristan: Oy, Fletcher told me to do a dropkick, so I gave him a dropkick.
Fletcher: You gave me a dropkick, all right. You need to stop arsing around...
Tristan: Stop arsing around? I'm not the one who got thrown off by a silly dropkick...
Nathans: That's enough, you two. Tristan, we made you an addition to the UK Wrecking Crew so that we could win matches. I don't know, maybe we need more manpower if we're going to be a force in MECCA.
Tristan: Manpower, mate? I'm not so sure that's the answer.
Nathans: What is, then?
Tristan: Give me a while and let me think. I'll hit you with something.
Fletcher: I'm hacked off with being hit with something by you. I'm well up for a shower.
(He leaves.)
Tristan: That's right, go cool off you big baby! (mutters) Upset over a little dropkick...
(Elsewhere, Bill Bicknell is standing by with Ronin Fox.)
Bill: Fox, congratulations on winning the Six Man Apocalypse on Saturday, and that guarantees you a spot in the main event of the MECCA Challenge III as you go for the MECCA World Championship.
Fox: It's very validating to be getting this match after what's taken place in the two title matches I've gotten in the last year, Bill. Both of those matches were indecisive, due to interference, but the fact remains that I am the one challenger that has come up against Eddie Crowe that he has never beaten. True enough, you did get by my brother, but I'm not Cynric. Eddie, you couldn't keep me down, because here I am, nearly a year later, coming for your title again. And at the MECCA Challenge III, it will become my title because as much prestige as you've brought to that belt, Eddie, I'll take it to even greater heights. On April 28, Ronin Fox fulfills his destiny and adds a World Championship to his list of accomplishments. My journey will culminate, and I'll see you safely to the past as I wave from the future.
(Commercial Break)
(In the arena, "Shadows of the Night" hits and Rebecca Knox makes her way to the ring.)
Skippy: It's time for the upper brackets finals of the Women's World Cup, and of course the winner's work is not done here, as they will go on to face the winner of the lower brackets for the World Cup. And at Bloody Valentine, we saw Rebecca Knox's true colors as she cheated to defeat Daizee Haze and advance.
Dick: She claims to be clean as a whistle and sharp as a thistle, and she's certainly sharp, but clean is debatable.
("Alcoholocaust" hits and Sara Del Rey makes her way to the ring.)
Skippy: The American Angel defeated Germany's Wesna to make it here, and she wants to be the first American competitor to take down Knox in this tournament.
Dick: These ladies had to go through a lot to make it here, and Del Rey wants to go to the MECCA Challenge III and compete for the World Cup.
(FINISH: Del Rey hits the delayed butterfly powerslam and covers, but Knox gets a foot on the ropes. Sara picks her up and goes for a powerbomb, but Knox rakes the eyes and tries the Falcon Arrow. Del Rey escapes and gives Knox a German suplex, bridging for a two count. She goes for the powerbomb again, but Knox somersaults into a sunset flip, rolling forward into a bridge and hooking the bottom rope with her foot for the three count.)
Winner: Rebecca Knox
Skippy: Rebecca Knox has won through to the finals, but once again she cheated! And this means that she has beaten every American competitor in this tournament.
Dick: A lot of the ladies were upset at K-nox's conduct at Bloody Valentine, believing this tournament to be too important for those kinds of shenanigans, and this isn't going to endear Knox to them at all.
Skippy: Del Rey is upset, but she could get her rematch, because due to her standing in the upper brackets, she only has to win one match to win the lower brackets. We could very well see this match again at the MECCA Challenge III. We have to take a break, but when we come back it's our big tag team main event. Eddie and Jay Crowe take on Ronin Fox and Cynric when we return!
(Commercial Break)
(Backstage, David Caldwell is with Katie Piehl in the office.)
Katie: For the last time, Caldwell, word from the board of directors on you running the show from now on is thanks but no thanks. Now will you please get out of my office?
Caldwell: I just want to know why they denied me, when my shows were failures due to circumstances beyond my control! You haven't gotten rid of me, Katie. There's still a lot more I can do as co-owner...
(Nykk enters.)
Nykk: All right, Mr. Co-owner, how about you do something for me, then? I see that once again, Bryan Danielson has failed to show up for Go Time, and that really frustrates me, because I didn't beat him up nearly as much as I wanted to in the Six Man Apocalypse. And normally this is where I'd make the challenge for Danielson on the biggest show of the year, the MECCA Challenge III, but honestly, I can't wait that long. I want Danielson's ass at Melee on March 17 and you'd better give him to me.
Katie: I think that sounds like a great idea...
Caldwell: Shut up, Katie, this is Project business. Nykk, why would I give you Danielson at Melee? You've done nothing but try to ruin David Caldwell Sports Entertainment, and last week was really more than I could stand.
Nykk: Because you know that without winning the Six Man Apocalypse, sooner or later Danielson will have to go through me to get another title shot. I'm on the Contender Star...
Caldwell: I don't need to go through the Contender Star, I can just give Danielson a title shot if I want...
Katie: Actually, Caldwell, any wild card shots have to be approved by both co-owners, and I don't approve Danielson for a title shot.
Caldwell: (sighs) Fine, Nykk, since you want him so bad, at Melee it will be Nykk vs. Bryan Danielson, but you better prepare yourself, because the American Dragon is going to take you to school and leave you a bloody mess.
Nykk: Yeah, because I've never run up against anyone like Bryan Danielson before. Just tell Dragon that at Melee, he's going to regret what he's done to MECCA, and I will humble him in front of the world.
(Nykk leaves.)
(In the arena, "Soul Creation" hits and Ronin Fox and Cynric make their way to the ring.)
Skippy: It's time for our tag team main event, and we just found out that Nykk will take on Bryan Danielson at Melee! What a match that will be.
Dick: Danielson needs that spot on the Contender Star, and unfortunately for him, Nykk is standing in his way.
("Noots" hits and Eddie and Jay Crowe make their way to the ring.)
Skippy: We've got two brother teams here, and of course if Eddie Crowe makes it to the MECCA Challenge III as champion, he will be facing Ronin Fox, winner of the Six Man Apocalypse, in the main event.
Dick: Those two have had two classics already, and this time they're both out to prove something. Fox wants to prove he's worthy of being champion, and Eddie wants to finally beat Fox and put this challenge to rest.
(FINISH: Jay holds Fox up in position for a back suplex, and Eddie somersaults off the top with a seated senton onto Fox at the same time Jay drops him. Jay covers, but Cynric breaks up the pin attempt. He backdrops Eddie over the top rope, but Eddie lands on the apron. Cynric vaults off of Fox's back to hit a modified Lift Off on Eddie, taking them both to the outside. Jay lifts Fox for the Overhaul, but Fox tries to counter into the Tail End. Jay counters that and hits a belly-to-belly suplex. He charges for an STO, but Fox gives him a drop toehold and then hits a curb stomp. He picks Jay up and hits a standard piledriver, covering for the three count.)
Winners: Ronin Fox and Cynric
Skippy: Fox and Cynric are victorious, and the momentum just keeps building for Ronin Fox.
Dick: Will he be the one who ends Eddie Crowe's reign as MECCA Champion as he reaches the one year mark? We've only got about two months to wait and find out.
(Suddenly, the Backseat Boyz run out as Eddie is checking on Jay. Acid gives Eddie a Yakuza Kick, and he and Kashmere lay into Jay. They give him the T-Gimmick and poser over him, but Dusty Schneble runs out. He clotheslines Kashmere and hits Acid with rights. He whips him into the ropes, but gets his knee clipped by Kashmere and Acid hits a legdrop. Eddie comes back in with a chair and runs off the Backseats.)
Skippy: The Backseats just attacked the Pyro Twins once again, but they're getting out of here before they have to face the combined force of the EDJ!
Dick: Jay and Dusty made the challenge for the MECCA Challenge III earlier, but we still don't know if Kashmere and Acid accept or not.
Skippy: We're out of time this week, fans, but be sure to join us once again next week on Go Time.
