Go Time: 12/27/06

Memphis, TN

("Neocon" opening.)

David: MECCA is making its debut in Memphis, Tennessee, and thank you everyone for joining us this week on Go Time! I'm David Mills, along with Dick Broccoli, and we are three days away from New Year's Knockout, live on pay-per-view. But tonight, we have a stellar six-man tag for your main event, as Bryan Danielson has recruited former MECCA Tag Team Champions Ronin Fox and Cynric to go against the EDJ!

Dick: And in more tag team competition, Nykk and Kevin Stone take on the Backseat Boyz right here tonight.

David: Also, we understand that Katie Piehl has the brackets finalized for the Women's World Cup and we will find out what the first round matches are right here tonight.

("Body Bomb" hits and John Walters makes his way to the ring.)

David: We're kicking things off with a match that will determine if the MECCA Tag Team Championship will be on the line at New Year's Knockout. Last week, Matt Stryker failed to beat the Wild Wolf, so now it's up to John Walters to win this match and get the shot for his team in three days.

Dick: He's got a tough task ahead of him in the huge Egyptian Anubis, however.

("Kobrakai" hits and Anubis makes his way to the ring.)

David: The Killer Kanines became the champs back at No Regrets, and their first title defense could be this Saturday.

Dick: The Surgeons have climbed the ranks since their debut in September, but they have this one last obstacle in front of them.

(FINISH: The Wild Wolf makes his way to ringside as Anubis gives Walters a spinebuster. Wolf applauds his teammate, but Walters escapes a scoop slam and hits a lungblower on Anubis, getting a close two count. Wolf gets on the apron, but Stryker is out, and he pulls Wolf off. The ref tells Stryker to leave as the Wild Wolf gets in the ring. He goes for the Twig Snap on Walters, but he ducks and Wolf catches Anubis with the move. Walters gives Wolf a kneelift and goes to the top rope, hitting Anubis with an elbow smash. He covers and gets the three count.)

Winner: John Walters

David: An impressive victory by Walters, even if he did have an inadvertent assist from Anubis's partner. Now the Surgeons are going for the tag titles at New Year's Knockout!

Dick: What a miscommunication between the tag champs, but this could be the Surgeons' lucky break.

David: We now go to Katie Piehl, who has the brackets for the Women's World Cup.

(In the office, Katie Piehl is sitting on her desk, next to a billboard with the brackets of the Women's World Cup.)

Katie: Hello, fans, I have some exciting news for all of you. As you know, next week the Women's World Cup begins, and will conclude at the MECCA Challenge III, when MECCA travels to New York City on April 28, 2007. This is a wonderful opportunity not just for the ladies of MECCA, or for the ladies all over the world, but for women's wrestling as a whole to show the world what we're made of, and that we can contribute just as much to this business as the men.

(She indicates the first round matches, which are Daizee Haze vs. Sumie Sakai, LuFisto vs. Coquette, Lisa Letty vs. Rebecca Knox, Zoe Alexander vs. Fabi Apache, Mariko Yoshida vs. Gail Kim, Sara Del Rey vs. Blue Nikita, Wesna vs. Princess Sugey, and Magenta vs. Nikki Chandler.)

Katie: As you can see, ten countries from all over the world will be represented. Of course, MECCA fans are familiar with our four American representatives: Lisa Letty, Daizee Haze, Sara Del Rey and Zoe Alexander, who I assure you is only in this because Caldwell had to stick his nose in. But they are joined by Gail Kim and LuFisto, who will be representing Canada; Magenta, representing Australia; Nikki Chandler, representing the UK; Rebecca Knox, representing Ireland; Coquette, representing France; Fabi Apache and Princess Sugey, representing Mexico; Blue Nikita, representing Greece; Wesna, representing Germany; and finally, representing Japan will be Sumie Sakai, and the real coup for this tournament, Japanese women's wrestling legend Mariko Yoshida! It all starts next week with two first round matches, and I will be proud to kick things off on MECCA's second anniversary! Thank you, and we will see you next week as the Women's World Cup begins.

(Commercial Break)

(In the arena, "Hit That" hits and Joey Sprinklers skateboards his way to the ring.)

David: We're back on Go Time, and we have one on one action heading your way, as Joey Sprinklers is heading toward the ring.

Dick: Joey is always willing to give it his all, but unfortunately tonight he's been handpicked for a debut of mammoth proportions.

("Afternoon Delight" hits and Kishi Fatu makes his way to the ring, along with David Caldwell.)

David: Former sports entertainer Kishi Fatu was introduced as Caldwell's bouncer a couple of weeks back, and Caldwell has already challenged Alan Mayse on his behalf for the Toughman Title, and that match takes place in three days at New Year's Knockout.

Dick: And Caldwell is letting him warm up right here on Go Time.

(FINISH: Kishi hits a belly to belly suplex on Joey, and then pulls him into the corner for the Banzai Drop. He goes up, but Joey gets to his feet and hammers Kishi with forearms. He gives him a back suplex off the ropes and covers for a two count. He hits Kishi with rights and whips him into the ropes, but Kishi reverses and charges in with a reverse avalanche. He picks Joey up and gives him the Kishi Driver. He pulls him over to the corner, and hits the Banzai Drop, sitting on him for the three count.)

Winner: Kishi Fatu

David: A successful debut for Kishi, as he may have collapsed Joey's chest cavity here.

Dick: But Caldwell's not done with him yet.

(Caldwell instructs Kishi to prop Joey up in the corner. He then pulls his thong up and gives Joey a Stinkface, much to the delight of Caldwell.)

David: Kishi just gave Joey that disgusting and outdated Stinkface, and of course Caldwell thinks this is the greatest thing ever.

(Caldwell gets a mic.)

Caldwell: You see, Alan Mayse, this is what you're going to get for sticking your nose in my business! You're going to get Kishi's business up your nose! One of the men who is going to be the foundation of David Caldwell Sports Entertainment is going to take that Toughman Title and make it mine! Then the CDT will go on to get that tag title shot and win those belts, and before you know it, the David Caldwell Project will have control of every title in MECCA! And not only will Zoe Alexander win the Ladies' Title, she will win this Women's World Cup and expose it for the farce that it is. And as for the Bikini Quest, I'm sorry folks, but did you really think I was going to give away the end on free TV? You're all going to have to buy the pay-per-view this Saturday in order to see just who walks away arm in arm with me and with a check for $10,000. So be sure to join us live in Indianapolis and on pay-per-view, because I promise that the Bikini Quest will come to an ultimately entertaining conclusion!

("Afternoon Delight" plays as Kishi and Caldwell exit the ring.)

David: I can't believe that Caldwell's going to waste the fans' hard-earned money and precious airtime on this farce of a contest this Saturday.

Dick: MECCA's montly events have always had the sole focus on wrestling, but it looks like Caldwell's going to try to wean the fans away from that.

David: We'll be right back with tag team action in the ladies' division.

(Commercial Break)

(In the arena, "Gangsta Bitch" hits and Shadow and Gail Kim make their way to the ring.)

David: We're back with the ladies of MECCA, the real ladies of MECCA, not some underfed models, ready to wrestle.

Dick: Shadow is the Ladies' Champion, and she has a defense coming up against Heather Star this Saturday, and to say she's taking Heather lightly would be an understatement.

("Dance Commander" hits and Heather Star and LuFisto make their way to the ring.)

David: Heather Star has earned her first shot at the Ladies' Title, and she's planning on making it her only shot by winning the belt.

Dick: Shadow has a history of picking out the person who is the least threat for a title shot, and she's singled out Heather, but it could definitely come back to bite her, because Star has been on a roll recently.

David: We'll also be seeing our Canadian representatives for the Women's World Cup in this match, who are both former Ladies' Champions. LuFisto and Gail Kim would both love to regain that title, but they're focused on winning the Women's World Cup right now.

(FINISH: Kim dumps LuFisto out to the floor, but walks into a spinning heel kick from Heather. Star goes to the top rope and hits the Falling Star Press, and tells Shadow to tag in. Shadow throws up her hands and abandons her partner, but the momentary distraction allows Kim to poke Star in the eyes. She whips her into the ropes, but Star reverses. She puts her head down and Kim gets up on Star's shoulders, but Star plants her with Greetings from Heaven. She covers and gets the three count.)

Winners: Heather Star and LuFisto

David: Star and LuFisto are victorious, and Shadow wanted no part of Star, but was that fear or mind games being played by our Ladies' Champion? We'll be right back with the Backseat Boyz taking on Nykk and Kevin Stone!

(Backstage, Bill Bicknell is standing by with Alan Mayse.)

Bill: Alan, you heard David Caldwell last week and earlier tonight, as you are set to defend your Toughman Title against Kishi Fatu in three days. What is your response to Caldwell claiming you will get exactly what Joey Sprinklers got tonight?

Alan: There's no question about it, Kishi, as played out as the whole gimmick is, is one hell of a successful wrestler. He's held just about any title you could imagine. But Kishi, there is no way you're getting this one. I've worked way too long and too hard for someone to waltz in here and get this belt in their second match. Because every time I...

(Kishi suddenly attacks Alan from behind, as Caldwell cheers him on. He whips Alan into some clangy pipes, and Alan falls to the floor. Kishi charges and rams his ass into Alan's head at full speed, sandwiching it between him and the wall. Alan goes down, holding his head.)

Caldwell: It's starting already, Alan. Say hello to David Caldwell Sports Entertainment's new Toughman Champion!

(Commercial Break)

(Backstage, Heather Star is rushing to catch up with Shadow, who is walking out of the building.)

Star: Shadow!

(Shadow turns around.)

Shadow: What?

Star: So what the hell was that out there? You're just going to leave in the middle of the match? I thought you were the big time Ladies' Champion, but it seems to me like you're nothing but a coward.

Shadow: Look, I'm in this for one reason only: glory. I've got the title, I've got the glory, and I do whatever I can to keep it. It's something that scrubs like you who have never held a title can quite understand. You have no idea what you're in for this Saturday. As long as I'm champion, I will make sure you never amount to anything, especially at my expense. I can't wait to get you in the ring and show you how it's really done.

Star: You didn't seem too eager earlier.

(Shadow glares at her and walks out the exit.)

(In the arena, "The Chase" hits and the Backseat Boyz make their way to the ring.)

David: There will be a war this Saturday at New Year's Knockout, a Four Corners tag match for a title shot, and the Backseat Boyz plan on continuing their winning ways and capturing the MECCA Tag Team Championship.

Dick: But they're going to have the Pyro Twins dogging their heels every step of the way.

("Destroy" hits and Nykk and Kevin Stone make their way to the ring.)

David: Nykk and Stone wanted this match against an experienced tag team after coming out on the losing end of a big brawl with Fox and Cynric last week.

Dick: They realize that they're going into their tag match this Saturday with much less experience than Fox and Cynric, and they need to find that point at which they gel as a team.

(FINISH: Stone gives Kashmere the Stone Crusher, but Acid sends him down with a Yakuza Kick. Nykk hits Acid with a running leg lariat, and then goes for the Cedarleaf on Kashmere. Kashmere kicks Nykk into the corner, and Nykk wraps his shoulder around the post. Stone clotheslines him and then bounces off the ropes for a big boot, but Acid pulls the top rope down and Stone hits his head hard on the apron on the way to the floor. Nykk backdrops Kashmere over the top rope but he lands on the apron. He tries a shoulder thrust, but Nykk moves and gives him a kneelift, causing Kashmere to fall back into the ring. He ducks a clothesline from Acid and goes for the Trinity, but Acid gets behind Nykk on the German and pushes him into a spear from Kashmere. They pick Nykk up and give him the T-Gimmick. Kashmere covers and gets the three count.)

Winners: The Backseat Boyz

David: The Backseats win a hard fought contest, and this definitely bodes well as far as Fox and Cynric are concerned.

Dick: It will definitely be competitive, as Nykk and Stone are a formidable tandem, but experience could be the key factor here.

(Backstage, David Caldwell is walking down the hallway when Joey Sprinklers comes up to him. He grabs Caldwell by the shirt and throws him against the wall.)

Joey: I... want... Kishi.

Caldwell: Get your hands off me, I'm the co-owner...

Joey: Nobody does what he did to me without gettin' some broken knees!

Caldwell: Kishi's getting his shower. Maybe if you weren't such a loser... you're choking me!

(Suddenly, Jamie Chan attacks from behind. He gives Joey some kicks to the midsection, and then rams him into a vending machine. He puts Joey in the Chan Lock as Caldwell gets some stomps in. Finally, Chan gets up as Joey holds his knee.)

Caldwell: Don't you ever presume to touch me again.

(He and Chan leave Joey, who is holding his knee in pain.)

(Commercial Break)

(In the arena, "The Final Countdown" hits and Bryan Danielson, Ronin Fox and Cynric make their way to the ring.)

David: It's time for our main event, and this challenge was made last week by the EDJ. Danielson then revealed on Rundown that he recruited former tag team champs Fox and Cynric to be his partners tonight.

Dick: A deadly combination if there ever was one, but their opponents have been proven to be a deadly trio.

("Fire" hits and the EDJ make their way to the ring.)

David: Eddie Crowe spent the better part of these last few weeks defending the World Title against his two best friends, Dusty Schneble and of course his own brother Jay. But when Danielson earned his rematch against Eddie, he made sure that Eddie knew he was coming for him.

Dick: If it wasn't for the EDJ's strong bond, Eddie could be seriously hurt right now. Luckily, the Pyro Twins were able to graciously accept defeat rather than harbor any resentment.

(FINISH: Fox hits a tope onto Dusty as Eddie hits Cynric with a charging dropkick in the corner. Danielson gives Jay a Regalplex, and then applies Cattle Mutilation. Eddie breaks it up, but Cynric charges and gives him the Lift Off. Danielson pounces on Eddie, hitting him in the head with rapid fire elbows. Jay tries to come to Eddie's aid, but Fox pulls him out of the ring and rams him into the guardrail. Dusty crawls back in, but Cynric drops an elbow on him and keeps him at bay. Finally, the ref calls for the bell and awards the match to Danielson's team.)

Winners: Bryan Danielson, Ronin Fox and Cynric

David: Those deadly elbows have put away many competitors since Danielson started utilizing them, and now they have forced the ref to call off a match over the MECCA Champion. If Danielson gets Eddie with those elbows this Saturday, we'll have a new World Champ.

Dick: Those elbows are Danielson's new weapon, after all his other tricks couldn't put away Eddie in their match at Summertime Showdown. This could definitely be what puts him over the top.

(The EDJ make their way up the aisle, with the Pyro Twins helping a semi-conscious Eddie. Nykk and Kevin Stone emerge from the back, and walk past them, heading toward the ring. Danielson sees the looks on their faces and bails, leaving Fox and Cynric.)

David: We've got Nykk and Stone out here, and they look like they want to continue where they left off with Fox and Cynric last week, but we're out of time! We'll see you in Indianapolis for New Year's Knockout!

(Nykk and Stone grab chairs and rush the ring as the camera fades to black.)
