Rundown Results:
Lisa Letty b. Coquette
Backseat Boyz b. Delirious and Human Tornado
Nykk b. Cheesecake
Huh/CDT b. Mayse/S-Squared
("Neocon" opening.)
David: We are here in Jacksonville, Florida, as MECCA presents another edition of Go Time! I'm David Mills, along with Dick Broccoli, and in our Jacksonville debut we will see a MECCA World Title match right here tonight, as the brothers Jay and Eddie Crowe collide in the main event!
Dick: Also, two men who are very familiar with each other will meet in a big grudge match as Nykk goes one on one with Cynric!
David: And though no one would have seen this coming, tonight Lisa Letty makes her entrance into David Caldwell's Bikini Quest, though not by choice. We'll also see a Toughman Title defense from Alan Mayse and much more here on Go Time.
("Cool" hits and the Human Tornado and Delirious make their way to the ring.)
David: We're kicking things off with the tandem of the Human Tornado and Delirious, two former Eccentric Alliance members who are the last remnants of that fun, fan-friendly stable.
Dick: They're also two of the oddest human beings you'll meet anywhere.
("The Chase" hits and the Backseat Boyz make their way to the ring.)
David: The team of Johnny Kashmere and Trent Acid is riding high with a victory over the Pyro Twins just a couple of weeks ago at No Regrets, and they stated that they're going after gold now.
Dick: Any team that can get a clean pin on the Pyro Twins is deserving of a title shot, and I could see the Backseats cleaning up tonight and going on to face the MECCA Tag Team Champions.
(FINISH: Tornado leapfrogs Acid but gets speared out of midair by Kashmere. Delirious hits Kashmere with Shadows Over Hell as he gets up, but then walks into the Yakuza Kick from Acid. He covers, but the Pyro Twins run out and Dusty Schneble gets on the apron to distract the ref. Acid goes over to get in Dusty's face, and Kashmere goes for an ocean cyclone suplex on Tornado. However, Jay enters the ring with a chair and blasts Kashmere across the back. Tornado rolls up Kashmere with a victory roll and gets the three count as Dusty drops to the floor and holds Acid's ankle.)
Winners: The Human Tornado and Delirious
David: Tornado and Delirious did it, with an assist from the Pyro Twins!
Dick: What in the hell are Jay and Dusty doing?
David: I'd say they're getting under the Backseats' skins the same way they've done.
(The Backseats protest to the ref while Jay and Dusty back up the aisle, laughing.)
David: It's far from over between the Backseats and the Pyro Twins, but when we come back, action from the ladies' division here on Go Time.
(Backstage, Nykk is waiting in the locker room when Lisa Letty enters, wearing a robe.)
Nykk: You ready?
Lisa: Yeah. I still can't believe I have to do this. I mean, I'm not ashamed of my body or anything, but this isn't what I'm here in MECCA to do. But I blew it last week, so I guess that means I have to suck it up and go through with it.
Nykk: You know, I'm not ashamed of your body either...
Lisa: Nykk, this is serious!
Nykk: I know. Lisa, this Bikini Quest goes against everything I wanted when I started MECCA, and the fact that you have to compete in it sets my teeth on edge. But it will be over soon enough, and you can go back to kicking ass like I know you can. But rest assured, if you're the slightest bit uncomfortable out there, I will put a stop to it.
Lisa: But what about Kishi, the new "bouncer?"
Nykk: You let me worry about that. Just go out there and do your best not to vomit all over the ring, and know that I'm behind you one hundred percent.
Lisa: Thanks.
(Commercial Break)
(In the arena, "Dance Commander" hits and Heather Star makes her way to the ring.)
David: The ladies of MECCA, and I'm not talking about starlets, are set for action here on Go Time, as Heather Star looks to climb the ranks in this Triangle Match.
Dick: She's been red hot recently, and this win could put her over the top.
("My Friend of Misery" hits and Misery makes her way to the ring.)
David: Misery is always blaming others for her failures, but she has a chance to turn it around right here tonight.
Dick: Misery definitely needs this win, and I have a feeling she'll do anything to get it.
("Take It Off" hits and Kelly Schweickart makes her way to the ring.)
David: The always energetic Kelly Schweickart is perhaps the target in this one, as she has come close on several occasions to that Ladies' Title, and a win over her definitely could propel the other two to a title shot.
Dick: But don't underestimate Kelly, perhaps the most improved of 2006. The sky's the limit for this girl.
(FINISH: Misery goes for Miserable Times on Heather, but she moves out of the way. She hits Misery with rights and then ducks out of the way as Kelly comes sailing in with a leg lariat. She nails Misery and then clotheslines Heather. She goes to the top rope for the Kelly Cyclone, but Heather gets up and pushes her off the top rope all the way to the floor. Heather goes up instead and goes for the Falling Star Press. Misery moves, but Heather lands on her feet. Misery tries a roundhouse kick, but Heather ducks and lifts her on her shoulders, driving her down with Greetings from Heaven. She covers and gets the three count.)
Winner: Heather Star
David: "Heavenly" Heather Star picks up another victory, and she's in a good place right now to go for the Ladies' Title, currently held by Shadow. With three other challengers disposed of, sort of, at No Regrets, that leaves the field wide open for the other ladies of MECCA.
Dick: She has that look on her face that now's the time, and with momentum on her side, we could see a new champ soon.
David: When we come back, Alan Mayse is set to defend his Toughman Title!
(Commercial Break)
(In the arena, "Seven Nation Army" hits and Alan Mayse makes his way to the ring.)
David: We're back, and set for Alan Mayse, the Toughman Champion! He'll be defending his title against the Wild Wolf right here, but I understand there was something going on in the back and that's why Alan's out here first, because the Wild Wolf isn't ready yet.
Dick: I understand he was upset about something someone from management told him, but we don't know exactly what it... was...
(As Alan poses with the belt, David Caldwell comes through the curtain to make his way to the ring, flanked by Kishi Fatu.)
David: It's all crystal clear, now.
(Caldwell gets a mic.)
Caldwell: You know, I'm looking at the format in the back, looking forward to Round 4 of the Bikini Quest tonight, and I'm noticing that Katie Piehl has scheduled too many matches tonight for the time allotted! So it's my duty as co-owner of MECCA, Mayse, to inform you that your title defense has been bumped!
(Alan tries to get at Caldwell, but Kishi steps in front of him and holds Alan at bay.)
David: What audacity by Caldwell, and what disrespect shown to our Toughman Champion.
Caldwell: So at this time, I would like to call out the remaining participants in the Bikini Quest to come out here right now!
(The Bikini Quest theme plays and Zoe Alexander, Candi, Sandi and Brandi make their way to the ring in their bikinis.)
Caldwell: Looking good tonight, ladies, looking good. And ladies and gentlemen, the moment I've been waiting for all week... we have a late entrant in the Bikini Quest, and I would like her to come out here right now... she is known as the First Lady of MECCA, but now she is my newest starlet... ladies and gentlemen, Lisa Letty!
("Edge of Seventeen" hits and Lisa Letty makes her way to the ring, not looking very happy about it.)
David: Two weeks ago, Lisa interrupted the Bikini Quest and got knocked out by Zoe for her efforts, prompting Caldwell to make a match last week between the two and if Lisa lost, she would have to compete in the Bikini Quest, and unfortunately for her, she lost that match.
Dick: She doesn't look comfortable doing this, but Lisa is a woman of her word, and does what the boss requests, even if he is a moron.
Caldwell: First of all, we need to take care of this week's elimination. Over the past week, you fans have been voting on the MECCA website, and we have reached a decision... Candi, I'm sorry baby, but you're out of here!
(Candi looks dejected, and Zoe holds the ropes open for her, mocking her by waving goodbye. Candi exits the ring.)
Caldwell: Now that the hard part is over, it's time for Round 4 of the Bikini Quest! Lisa, I just want to let you know how great it is having you on board for this new regime of mine. If you stick with me, you'll go places in this company. And Alan, I would appreciate it if you would get on board with this as well, and I think I know just how to win you over. You are going to be the judge in this week's contest!
(Alan rolls his eyes.)
Caldwell: Now, we've seen you ladies do a lot of sexy things over the last few weeks, but quite frankly, we need to pop the ratings. And there will be no censors to hurt the ratings this week, I've made sure of that. It's very simple, my starlets. One by one, you will remove your bikini tops, exposing your bazongas for the entire world to see!
David: What!?
Dick: Well, this segment just got a little more interesting.
David: Even if you could do that on national TV, you can't ask these ladies to do this.
Caldwell: And first on our list is, oh... let's go with the new girl. Ladies and gentlemen, Lisa Letty in all her glory!
(Lisa starts telling off Caldwell, and he tries to calm her down. Alan also gets in Caldwell's face, but Kishi gets between them again. Alan slugs Kishi in the face, and the two start trading right hands in the middle of the ring as the ladies run for cover.)
David: It's broken down now, as Alan has had enough of Caldwell's bouncer!
(Lisa tries to get out of the ring, but Caldwell grabs her by the arm. Nykk runs out through the crowd and slides into the ring. He pulls Lisa away from Caldwell and hits him in the face with a hard right. Caldwell goes down, and Nykk and Lisa exit the ring as Alan and Kishi brawl out to the floor.)
David: Nykk has just done what everyone in the back has wanted to do for months! Caldwell is down, Caldwell is down, thank the Good Lord, Caldwell is down!
Dick: He said he'd put a stop to this if Lisa felt the slightest bit uncomfortable, and Caldwell definitely crossed the line in a big way.
David: We need to restore order out here, so we're going to take a quick break!
(Commercial Break)
(Backstage, Katie Piehl is in her office with the Backseat Boyz.)
Acid: Katie, we've been over this before. We beat the Pyro Twins fair and square at No Regrets, yet they are still dogging our trail.
Kashmere: It's like they're sore losers or something, and now we have to suffer for it. We're trying to build up wins to challenge for the tag titles and they're costing us matches.
Acid: That's why we want the Pyro Twins and Tornado and Delirious at New Year's Knockout. We'll take care of both of them at once.
Katie: You know, that's not a half bad idea. I'm going to go ahead and make that match, and...
(Caldwell busts into the office.)
Caldwell: Katie, Katie! Did you see what happened out there, did you? Nykk just ruined my contest!
Katie: Yeah, remind me to thank him later. Excuse me, guys. (to Caldwell) Caldwell, out of all the stunts you pulled, this has to be the dumbest one of all! Do you realize that aside from your contest idea being tasteless, my phone was ringing off the hook with network representatives wanting to know exactly what kind of show I was running here!? You nearly got us thrown off the air, you blockhead!
Caldwell: That segment was going to put our ratings through the roof...
Katie: You know what? I don't want to listen to this right now. The very though of what you have to say gives me a headache. As I was saying, Trent, Johnny... you've got your Triangle Match at the pay-per-view, and furthermore, I'm giving the winners of that match a tag title shot. So...
Caldwell: Wait a minute... you can't decide number one contenders without including my guys, the CDT! They have been....
Katie: Believe me, I had no intention of letting them anywhere near this match.
Caldwell: Well, I'm co-owner of MECCA, and that means I can add participants to any match I want. So at New Year's Knockout, this Triangle Match just became a Four Corners Match. It will be the CDT vs. The Backseat Boyz and... and...
Katie: Tornado and Delirious.
Caldwell: Tornado and Delirious, right. And...
Katie: The Pyro Twins.
Caldwell: The Pyro Twins!? Uh... excuse me.
(He bolts from the room.)
(In the arena, "Soul Creation" hits and Cynric makes his way to the ring.)
David: A Four Corners Match for a tag title shot at New Year's Knockout, but now it's time for a big grudge match, as one half of the former tag champs makes his way to the ring.
Dick: Cynric and his brother Ronin Fox have been having their problems with Nykk and Kevin Stone, and this week it's a one on one match between representatives from those teams.
("Destroy" hits and Nykk makes his way to the ring.)
David: Nykk just finished saving his girlfriend from the clutches of David Caldwell, and now he's got this match, but has he been able to focus on this match with all the craziness going on tonight?
Dick: We'll see in a few minutes, but you know Nykk has to be angry at what just went down with Caldwell, the man he sold his share of the company to, and he may just take that anger out on Cynric.
(FINISH: Cynric goes for the Lift Off, but Nykk counters with a drop toehold and tries to segue into the Cedarleaf. Cynric grabs the ropes, and Nykk has to let go. Cynric pokes Nykk in the eyes and whips him into the corner. He goes for a front kick, but Nykk shoves him aside and whips him into the corner. He hits a running European uppercut and then gives Cynric Howling Moon III. He covers and gets the three count.)
Winner: Nykk
David: Nykk picks up the win, though I'm sure the guy he wanted was Fox.
(As Nykk celebrates, Ronin Fox runs down to the ring. He starts slugging it out with Nykk, and Nykk grabs him by the throat. Cynric catches him from behind with a spin kick, and Nykk goes down. Fox and Cynric start to stomp on Nykk.)
Dick: It looks like he just got Fox after all!
(Fox gives Nykk a curb stomp, and then Cynric goes to the outside. Fox puts Nykk on his shoulders, and Cynric hits a springboard Lift Off. As they celebrate, Kevin Stone makes his way through the curtain, and Fox and Cynric take off through the crowd. Stone gets in the ring and checks on Nykk.)
David: Thank goodness Kevin Stone saw what was happening and came out, otherwise that could have been the end of Nykk. When we come back, Joey Sprinklers will take on Cheesecake!
(Commercial Break)
(Backstage, Bill Bicknell is standing by with Shadow.)
Bill: I'm here with Shadow, the MECCA Ladies' Champion, and it's been a week since you said you'd think about your next challenger for your Ladies' Title, and I was just wondering if you'd come to a decision yet.
Shadow: Well...
(Heather Star walks in and steps up to Shadow.)
Shadow: What the hell do you want?
Star: In case you haven't noticed, Shadow, I've been on a streak recently, and I think if you're looking for a challenger for the title, then look no further. Because I've got what it takes to remove that belt from your waist and put it on mine.
(Shadow smirks.)
Shadow: You want to challenge me? You know, Star, I remember when you debuted a year ago... you were a peon then and you're a peon now. But if you want a shot at my title, well, you can have one. You've never done anything of note anyway. It'll be a night off for me until I find a more worthy challenger.
Star: If you want a night off from defending that belt, trust me, I'll give you one. Matter of fact, I'll give you a whole lot of them, because when you and I meet, that title will be mine.
(Star leaves.)
(In the arena, "Filthy/Gorgeous" hits and Cheesecake makes his way to the ring.)
David: A challenge laid out by Heather Star and accepted by Shadow, and that should be a tremendous match when it does take place. Now Cheesecake is out here for his match, and you'll notice that he doesn't have Coquette by his side.
Dick: Coquette seems to have distanced herself from Cheesecake ever since he hit this slump, and I guess she decided to part ways with him.
("Hit That" hits and Joey Sprinklers makes his way to the ring.)
David: Joey Sprinklers hasn't been doing that great himself recently, but this is a chance for both men to turn it around.
Dick: He's in this part-time tag team with Matt Sydal, but they haven't been doing so hot, and Joey has never had much success in singles competition.
(FINISH: Cheesecake goes for the Long Kiss Goodnight, but Sydal turns over and rams Cheesecake into the corner. He whips him into the opposite corner, but Cheesecake reverses. Joey tips up and goes for a German suplex. Cheesecake tries a low blow, but Joey dodges it and kicks Cheesecake, giving him Da Sprinklanator. He covers and gets the three count.)
Winner: Joey Sprinklers
David: Joey Sprinklers wins very decisively, and what a win over a former MECCA Tag Team Champion!
Dick: Joey is happy, and this could give him the confidence he needs to turn things around for good.
David: Our main event is up next as Eddie Crowe will defend the MECCA World Title against his own brother, Jay Crowe. We'll be right back!
(Backstage, Bill Bicknell is standing by with Nykk and Kevin Stone.)
Bill: Hold on, guys, before we go to break, Stone and Nykk found me and they have demanded to speak.
Nykk: That's right, Bill. Fox, Cynric, it used to be just Fox that was getting under my skin, but congratulations, somehow you both managed to keep me up at night while I think of new ways to inflict pain and suffering on you. It's time for this to end.
Stone: You know, Nykk, I got involved in this because at No Regrets, I was reminded of how important the fans' support was. I realized just how much I actually missed that, and I resolved to turn my career around, and one way to get the fans behind me again was to something selfless, like helping you out. But now that I'm involved, Fox, I can now see what Nykk hates in you. And Cynric, don't think I've ever forgotten what went down between us. At New Year's Knockout, we want a rematch with you two, and if you have any kind of courage at all, you'll accept.
Nykk: That's right, now that I've got the MECCA Monster on my side, nothing is going to stop us. Watch your backs, because between now and the pay-per-view, there's a death warrant with your names on it, and it's been signed by us.
(Commercial Break)
(Backstage, Bill Bicknell is standing by with the Killer Kanines.)
Bill: I'm here with the Wild Wolf and Anubis, the men who took the MECCA Tag Team Championship from Eddie Crowe and Alan Mayse. Gentlemen, now that you have your titles, when can we expect your first title defense and what kind of champions can we expect you to be?
Wolf: First of all, in case anyone wasn't paying attention, I had requested a Toughman Title shot tonight, and I do not appreciate my match being bumped for that glorified T & A exhibition we saw out there. But Alan Mayse, another time, another place. As for our tag team gold, we think everyone out there will find out that we are the most dominating tag team in the history of MECCA, and we plan to start defending these titles at New Year's Knockout. As for our opponents, no one has been given the shot just yet...
(The Surgeons walk up.)
Bill: John Walters, Matt Stryker, what are you doing here?
Walters: We're here to confront our new tag team champs and put them on notice. Stryker and I have been on fire since we debuted, and we've just requested that we be the first to challenge you two for those belts.
Stryker: So don't get too comfortable with those titles, boys, because you proved better than anyone that a title can certainly be lost on its first defense. The Surgeons are coming to take you apart, and then we're going to take those belts.
(The Surgeons leave. The Wild Wolf exchanges a glance with Anubis, and they leave as well, heading in the opposite direction.)
Bill: A challenge from the team of the Surgeons, and it looks as if the Killer Kanines are going to treat that challenge very seriously.
(In the arena, "Burning Times" hits and Jay Crowe makes his way to the ring.)
David: We're back on Go Time, and it's time for the main event. Two weeks ago, it was Dusty Schneble challenging for the MECCA World Title. He failed to gain the victory, but last week his partner Jay took a spot on the Contender Star and immediately challenged his own brother, who gladly accepted.
Dick: Jay has proven that he can hold his own in singles competition, but can he take the belt his brother Eddie has held for so long?
("Noots" hits and Eddie Crowe makes his way to the ring.)
David: If Eddie Crowe wins this match, he will go on to face Bryan Danielson at New Year's Knockout, and we understand if Jay wins tonight, the Pyro Twins will be pulled out of the Four Corners tag match set up earlier so that Jay can defend against Danielson.
Dick: Both these guys are in for a long month, as they have a fight for their lives right here, and then again against the American Dragon.
Jared: Ladies and gentlemen, this is your Go Time main event! This contest is scheduled for one fall and is for the MECCA World Championship! Introducing first, the challenger... from Bellbrook, Ohio... weighing in at 187 lbs... he is a former MECCA Tag Team Champion... Jaaay Croooooowe! His opponent... also from Bellbrook, Ohio, and weighing in at 195 lbs... he is the current reigning and defending MECCA World Heavyweight Champion... Eddieeee Croooooowe!
(FINISH: Eddie goes for the running brainbuster, but Jay escapes and lifts Eddie for the Overhaul. Eddie hits Jay in the head with his fists, and manages to escape. Jay tries a clothesline, but Eddie ducks and hooks Jay, taking him over with a backslide bomb. Jay comes back to his feet in the corner, and Eddie hits him with a charging dropkick. He snapmares him down, and then goes for the Eddie Dive, but Jay gets his knees up. He goes for an STO, but Eddie counters into a Fujiwara armbar and segues over Jay's body, lifting him up and hitting the Gutwrench Driver. He covers and gets the three count.)
Winner: Eddie Crowe
David: Eddie Crowe has done it, and managed to put away both of the Pyro Twins within three weeks!
Dick: What a pair of victories not just over two tough opponents, but his best friends as well.
(Eddie helps Jay up, and they shake hands and embrace. Suddenly, Bryan Danielson runs out and gets in the ring. He gives Jay a European uppercut from behind, sending him into Eddie. Danielson stomps on Eddie, and then gives him a snap butterfly suplex. He gives Jay a Regalplex, but walks into some chops from Eddie. Danielson gives Eddie a drop toehold and starts laying into his head with elbows. However, Dusty Schneble runs out and pulls Danielson off. He hits him with right hands and whips him into the ropes, but Danielson slides out under the ropes and heads back up the aisle.)
David: The American Dragon just attacked the Crowes, and used the opportunity to lay into Eddie with those deadly elbows. He has to have been trying to soften him up for New Year's Knockout.
Dick: Danielson and those elbows of his have been unstoppable for over a month now, and he plans on using that as his main weapon to take the title from Eddie.
David: Thank goodness Dusty was watching, but that's all we have for you this week. Be sure to tune in next week for the Christmas edition of Go Time!
