Go Time: 11/15/06

Charlotte, NC

("Neocon" opening.)

David: The Modern Establishment of Competitive Combat Arts is making its debut tonight in the Tar Heel State, as this is Go Time from Charlotte, North Carolina! I'm David Mills, along with Dick Broccoli, and tonight the two week championship series concludes as Ronin Fox and Cynric put their tag team belts on the line against the MECCA World Champion Eddie Crowe and the MECCA Toughman Champion Alan Mayse!

Dick: We could have the first double champions in MECCA tonight, but in other tag team action, the Backseat Boyz make their in ring debut right here.

David: We'll also get a confirmation on the status of the number one contender to the Ladies' Title after last week's debacle. We'll also hear from Nykk on whether or not Ronin Fox has answered his challenge for No Regrets and much more right here tonight!

("The Chase" hits and the Backseat Boyz make their way to the ring.)

David: We're about to see the in ring debut of Johnny Kashmere and Trent Acid as a team. They're known up and down the East Coast as the Backseat Boyz and they made an immediate impact last week when they attacked the best team in the Midwest and perhaps the world, the Pyro Twins.

Dick: Those are big shoes to step into, but the Backseats want to be the top team here in MECCA, and Acid brought his long time partner Kashmere here after claiming unfair treatment in singles contests against the Pyro Twins on our Internet show Rundown.

David: And we've just been informed that at No Regrets in Philadelphia, it will in fact happen. The Backseat Boyz take on the Pyro Twins in tag team action, and what a match that will be.

("Cool" hits and the Human Tornado and Delirious make their way to the ring.)

David: The odd tandem of Delirious and the Human Tornado seem to be concentrating on the tag division as well, ever since the split of the Eccentric Alliance.

Dick: It's amazing that these two guys can even function as a team. Good luck, because they're going to need it.

(FINISH: The Backseats hit the Tag Team Dream Sequence on Tornado, but Delirious hits Acid with Shadows Over Hell as he gets up. He lures Kashmere into charging him and ducks underneath a forearm, dropkicking him into the corner. Kashmere falls down, and Delirious hits the Panic Attack. However, Acid nails him with a Yakuza Kick, and he and Kashmere give him the T-Gimmick. Kashmere covers and gets the three count.)

Winners: The Backseat Boyz

David: The Backseat Boyz take the win in their debut, and you know their next targets have to be the Pyro Twins.

Dick: The Backseats don't lack in confidence, and firmly believe that they're better than Dusty and Jay.

David: But speaking of tag teams, we understand that Bill Bicknell is standing by with the Surgeons.

(Backstage, Bill Bicknell is with the Surgeons.)

Bill: John Walters, Matt Stryker, you have had a very successful first couple of months here in MECCA, but for the entire time, the thorn in your side has been the David Caldwell Project. Whether it was having the numbers game against you time and time again, or being assaulted by the CDT as they lured you into a Triangle Tag Match just so they could join up with David Caldwell, your main beef has been with them.

Stryker: You're absolutely right, Bill, and the reason we requested this time is that we want to end it and get them out of our hair once and for all.

Walters: You see, we have an FSN event coming up in Philadelphia, called No Regrets... well, myself and Stryker have always agreed that we don't regret anything we do out there, even if it's getting in the face of our co-boss. But this all started with Stage One, and Jamie Chan, Ryan Saito, we want you one more time on November 25.

Stryker: But this isn't just any old match. This is Philadelphia, home of the hardcore fans. We want this match to be Anything Goes. You think about that with your boys, Caldwell, and get back to us. Because one way or the other, we're getting our hands on your bodyguards and settling this.

(Commercial Break)

(In the arena, "Hit That" hits and Joey Sprinklers skateboards his way to the ring.)

David: We saw the challenge just before the break, as the Surgeons want Stage One in an Anything Goes Match at No Regrets. Perhaps we'll hear if they accept the challenge or not later, but right now, Joey Sprinklers is ready to compete.

Dick: Joey's definitely excited to be back here on Go Time, but he has a tough test ahead of him.

("Kobrakai" hits and Anubis makes his way to the ring.)

David: The big Egyptian-American Anubis is normally seen with his partner the Wild Wolf. But tonight, the winner of the Wild Card Battle Royale goes into singles action.

Dick: If the Killer Kanines get their shot at the tag titles, he may be preparing himself for a run at a singles title. Remember, his reward for winning that battle royale was a title match for any championship he wants.

(FINISH: Anubis whips Joey into the corner and goes for the Ankh Smash. Joey moves and Anubis crashes into the turnbuckles. Joey hits him with right hands and whips him into the ropes. Anubis reverses and Joey tries a high cross body. He doesn't even budge Anubis and crashes to the mat. Anubis hits him with the Ankh Smash and then goes to the top rope, hitting the Sphinx Splash. He covers and gets the three count.)

Winner: Anubis

David: Anubis shows just how skilled he can be in a singles environment, and it definitely wasn't to be for Joey tonight.

Dick: The Egyptian powerhouse was impressive here tonight, and now he and the Wild Wolf will probably make their move for the tag titles.

David: Up next, we'll have tag team action as the Ladies' Champion Shadow teams up with Gail Kim to take on Kelly Schweickart and LuFisto. But right now, all four participants are in Katie Piehl's office.

(In the office, LuFisto, Gail Kim, Shadow and Kelly Schweickart are talking with Katie Piehl.)

Katie: Look, ladies, last week I told all of you to go out there and prove what you've been proving the last two years. That women's wrestling can be about athletic competition and not about swimsuit competitions and mud matches. And you were having a phenomenal contest until Caldwell came out and ruined it. And since last week there was no number one contender coming out of that match, I've decided that at No Regrets, Shadow, you will defend your title... against all three of the ladies in this room in a Four Way Dance. This is my apology for what went down last week.

Shadow: Wait, what!? Just because you can't control Caldwell, it means I've got to defend this belt against three people? Katie, I just won this belt back, and once again you're trying to do everything in your power to get it off me. Well, fine. Try all you want, but at No Regrets I'll show you just why I am the best Ladies' Champion in history.

(She notices Gail, LuFisto and Kelly eyeing her belt.)

Shadow: Uh... I'll... see you all out there. Gail, we need to talk...

(She notices Gail eyeing her title as well.)

Shadow: Well, we'll talk in the ring.

(Shadow backs out of the office.)

(Commercial Break)

(In the arena, "Gangsta Bitch" hits and Shadow and Gail Kim make their way to the ring.)

David: We're back on Go Time with a ladies' tag match, and did you see the way that those ladies were eyeing Shadow's title when Katie Piehl announced that all three of them will challenge for the belt at No Regrets?

Dick: Unfortunately for Shadow, one of her challengers is also her partner tonight, Gail Kim.

("What You Waiting For" hits and LuFisto and Kelly Schweickart make their way to the ring.)

David: LuFisto and Kelly will be the opposition tonight, but again, all of these ladies will be involved in a Four Way Dance at No Regrets for the title, and Shadow was not happy about that.

Dick: This was their apology for what David Caldwell did last week, interrupting the ladies' triangle match in order to promote that Bikini Quest that starts next week.

(FINISH: LuFisto gives Shadow a German suplex, but Shadow throws her through the ropes when she tries to move in. Kelly comes in and prepares for a hardway suplex, but Shadow blocks it and throws Kelly off. LuFisto comes back in and rolls her up for a two count. Shadow backs off from Kelly and LuFisto, only to bump into Gail. Shadow begs off, but Gail takes her down with an armbar and locks in the Tequila Sunrise. Referee Nikki Alvarado pulls her off, and Gail gets in her face. Alvarado lets the ladies have a piece of her mind, but LuFisto and Gail throw her through the ropes and everyone goes after Shadow, and Alvarado calls for the bell.)

Winners: Double DQ

David: The ref has disqualified both teams for putting their hands on her, but now everyone is going after the Ladies' Champ, even her partner!

Dick: What a donnybrook it's going to be at No Regrets when they're all going for the Ladies' Title.

(Shadow ducks a spinning heel kick from Kelly, who nails LuFisto by accident. All the ladies start brawling for each other, until Nykk suddenly comes in through the crowd. Once they catch sight of the look on his face, the brawling slowly peters out, and the ladies leave the ringside area. Nykk grabs a mic.)

David: Now Nykk is out here, surely looking for some kind of confirmation that his Steel Cage challenge was accepted by Ronin Fox.

Dick: The ladies will have to fight amongst themselves some other time, because it doesn't look like this is the right time to get in Nykk's way.

Nykk: Last week, I came out here and I told you the reasons why I'm coming for Ronin Fox's career. Fox, you and I broke into this business together, and at one time were good friends. We tagged together in our first year in this business, but along the way, something happened. And it was so long ago that I can't exactly pinpoint what it was, but needless to say we parted ways in a big way. Our feud has raged on for years, and I think we both knew that it would eventually come to this. And I may not be an owner of MECCA anymore, but I will be damned before I let you hurt anyone else in this company the way you did to Lisa back in August. I told you I wanted you in a steel cage, a first here in MECCA, and I want it at No Regrets in Philadelphia. And I told you if you accept or not, I would end your career. This is your last chance to accept, Fox; if you don't, I'm coming back there, and I won't stop until I find you. And I will get you to accept my challenge, whether it's by choice or under duress. And trust me, Fox, when you're under duress from me, you see your life flashing before your eyes. So one more time, Fox... you and me on November 25, live on FSN, in front of the wrestling world. Do you accept?

(Nykk waits, but Fox doesn't come out.)

David: Fox is still not coming out here, and I don't know whether he's afraid of Nykk or if he's trying to get into his head.

Dick: It could be either one, knowing Fox, but don't think for a minute that Nykk hasn't considered this possibility. They grew up together, and they broke in together, so they know each other inside and out.

(Nykk throws down the mic and goes to the outside. He grabs the trash-masher from underneath the ring and heads up the aisle and goes through the curtain.)

David: Here we go! If Fox is in the building, he may want to leave right now!

(The camera follows Nykk to the back, where other MECCA wrestlers are making sure to stay out of his way. Eventually, Nykk goes down a hallway and spots Fox talking to Trent Acid. Acid makes a run for it as Nykk charges Fox. He swings the trash-masher, but Fox ducks and Nykk breaks the window of a vending machine. Fox picks up a chair and tries to keep Nykk at a distance with hit. However, Cynric runs in and hits Nykk with a forearm from behind. He drops the trash-masher, and Cynric holds Nykk. Fox takes a swing with the chair, but Nykk moves and pulls Cynric into the chair's path. Cynric falls to the ground and Nykk tackles Fox, hitting him with right hands.)

Nykk: Accept!

Fox: F$%& you!

(Nykk starts pounding his head into the concrete, and then turns a crate over onto Fox's hand. Fox cries out in pain, but Nykk kicks him in the face and pins his other arm down with another crate. He then turns the vending machine around and tips it, holding it over Fox's head.)

Fox: No!

Nykk: If you don't accept, it ends right here. Everything you've done to me, what you did to Lisa, it all comes crashing down on you! You and me in a cage, November 25! End it now or fight back.

Fox: All right, I accept!

(Nykk sets the vending machine upright again and leans down to Fox, who is now bleeding from the mouth.)

Nykk: You were right to do one thing, Fox. You were right to hide from me. Because at November 25, what we've done to each other in the past, it will be nothing. A new standard of brutality will be set, and I will finally be rid of you once and for all.

(Nykk walks away, leaving Fox pinned under the crates.)

(Commercial Break)

(Backstage, Bill Bicknell is standing by with David Caldwell.)

Bill: I'm here with one of our co-owners here in MECCA, David Caldwell. Caldwell, earlier on the Surgeons laid out a challenge for your bodyguards Stage One for an Anything Goes Match for No Regrets. I understand you have an answer for them.

Caldwell: I do, and Surgeons, don't think for one minute that the David Caldwell Project can't snuff you out easier than that. (snaps fingers) You boys just arrived here in MECCA, and you could have kept your heads low and your mouths shut like the new guys are supposed to, but no, you had to get in our faces. Well, Stage One accepts your challenge, and at No Regrets, we're going to make you wish you never came to this company. But you're forgetting something, and that's the fact that I am the boss, and you don't piss off the boss! So Walters, Stryker, if you lose at No Regrets, both of you will be suspended for ninety days without pay. Feed your families and pay your bills on that, chumps. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go see my guys to the ring.

(Caldwell leaves.)

(In the arena, "Burning Times" hits and the Pyro Twins make their way to the ring.)

David: Wow, what a great guy we have for our co-owner. He has a personal vendetta against the Surgeons so all of a sudden, they're suspended for ninety days if they lose at No Regrets. Yet he didn't say a word about anything on the line for Stage One. That's fair.

Dick: Caldwell is serious about holding down anyone who gets in his way.

David: Speaking of which, I'd like to see him hold the Pyro Twins back from doing anything. Jay and Dusty are coming off that big win in the Ring of Fire at Scared Stiff, and though they're focused on paying back the Backseat Boyz right now, I'm sure they're looking to mow through this match tonight and get a match for the tag titles.

("Sweet Dreams" hits and the CDT make their way to the ring, accompanied by Medea Knight and David Caldwell.)

David: Concession Boy and Dreamo have been showing a ruthless streak since joining the David Caldwell Project, but even with two managers in their corner, I think they'd be hard pressed to beat Jay and Dusty tonight.

Dick: Knight and Caldwell would have to be crazy to even think about interfering in this match. We saw what the Pyro Twins gleefully did to the UK Wrecking Crew at Scared Stiff.

(FINISH: The CDT go for the Nocturnal Emission on Jay, but Dusty clotheslines CB and Jay counters back on his feet and knees Dreamo in the face. They hit Final Darkness, but Caldwell gets on the apron, distracting the ref. Knight runs in, but the Pyro Twins catch her and grab her by the hair. But before they can do anything, the Backseat Boyz come in through the crowd. Kashmere spears Jay as Acid gives Dusty a Yakuza Kick. They give Jay the T-Gimmick and then exit the ring. Dreamo crawls over and makes the cover. The ref turns around and makes the three count.)

Winners: The CDT

David: The Pyro Twins were just screwed out of this win! First the Backseat Boyz attack them for no reason, and now they cost them an important match in the tag rankings. What a crock.

Dick: The Backseats are further trying to get into Jay and Dusty's heads before they meet at No Regrets. Jay and Dusty are going to be irate when they get up, and the David Caldwell Project better hope they're clear of the arena before that happens.

David: When we come back, we'll hear from the challengers for the tag titles tonight, Eddie Crowe and Alan Mayse. And later on in the main event, they will face off against Ronin Fox and Cynric. More action when we return.

(Commercial Break)

(In the office, David Caldwell and the CDT are with Katie Piehl.)

Caldwell: So you see, Katie, there is no reason why the CDT shouldn't receive a tag title shot at No Regrets. They just beat the former champions the Pyro Twins, they're part of the David Caldwell Project, their list of credentials goes on.

Katie: I already said I'd think about it, Caldwell. Now if you don't get out of here...

(The Killer Kanines enter, and the CDT backs off.)

Wolf: Wait just a minute. We've been busting our asses for the past year in MECCA, and we've been on a hot streak the last couple of months. If anyone deserves a title shot, it's us. This is the first match they've won in God knows how long.

Caldwell: First of all, you'd better thank your lucky stars that you even have a job here, because I've never really found the two of you all that entertaining. But this isn't really about titles. No, this is about entertainment. And the entertainment comes in leaps and bounds next week when the Bikini Quest starts. The most beautiful ladies in the world will compete for that ultimate prize, and I expect everyone in the back to be front row center in front of the monitor watching how a real entertainer operates. So you and everyone at home, tune in next week for the first round of the Bikini Quest!

(Elsewhere, Bill Bicknell is standing by with Eddie Crowe and Alan Mayse.)

Bill: I'm here with MECCA World Champion Eddie Crowe and the Toughman Champion Alan Mayse, and gentlemen, tonight the championship series comes to a close as you have the opportunity to win the tag titles from Ronin Fox and Cynric. Are you ready for this big match?

Alan: Bill, I've always been ready and tonight is no exception. Fox, last week you failed to take this Toughman Title from me, but tonight, your title is up for grabs. There was a time when people accused me of being too bland, that I'd never make it in this business. Well, I've proven all of them wrong time and time again. Look what's across my shoulder. The most respected title in MECCA, and I will...

Eddie: Whoa, whoa, whoa. I don't mean to cut you off, Alan, but the Toughman Title is not the most respected title in MECCA. It's my title, the one that I took internationally and made a World Title, the belt that I've held longer than anyone else. The MECCA World Heavyweight Championship that I've held just as long as your Toughman Title...

Alan: Actually, uh... technically, Eddie, I won this belt a couple of hours before you won yours, so until one of us loses our belt, I'm the longest reigning current champion in MECCA.

Eddie: Well, regardless of all that, there is one thing we agree on. Tonight, we are going in there against the best tag team in MECCA right now, the champions. And we're going to take those titles and become the first double champions in MECCA history and there's not a thing in the world that's going to stop us.

Alan: Damn straight.

Bill: I can't wait for this match, and it's coming up next!

(Commercial Break)

(In the arena, "Noots" hits and Eddie Crowe and Alan Mayse make their way to the ring, holding up their respective titles.)

David: It's the conclusion of the championship series started last week, when Ronin Fox and Cynric got singles shots at those men's titles. Now they return the favor, as they will defend their tag titles right here tonight.

Dick: But what condition are Fox and Cynric going to be in? Cynric took a chair to the head earlier, and we saw Fox bleeding from the mouth after having his head rammed repeatedly into the concrete floor in the back thanks to Nykk.

("Soul Creation" hits and Ronin Fox and Cynric make their way to the ring, looking worse for wear.)

David: It appears that Fox and Cynric aren't going to let that stop them from coming out. It's probably just a matter of pride for them. They both failed to win singles titles last week, so tonight they want to retain their title and shut down Crowe and Mayse.

Dick: I'm not sure if it's the wisest decision to not just save this match until next week. Katie Piehl has to do something about Nykk; his vendetta against Fox is messing all sorts of things up.

(The ref calls for the bell, but Fox and Cynric bail out of the ring. Fox gets a mic.)

Fox: As everyone saw earlier tonight, my brother and I were viciously assaulted by Nykk, and the fact is that we're just not one hundred percent. However, we're being forced into this match, because this is MECCA's big Charlotte debut, and this match was promised last week. Well, the match has started, but you two can have the victory. We're taking a count-out and going home. Feel free to come after us again when the playing field is fair and level.

(Fox and Cynric walk up the aisle.)

David: It looks like I spoke too soon, as Fox and Cynric are taking their belts and going home.

Dick: You can't really blame them. They took quite a beating earlier, and Mayse and Crowe are fresh as daisies.

(Eddie and Alan go after Fox and Cynric and brawl with them in the aisle. They throw them back into the ring.)

David: Eddie and Alan aren't going to take a victory like this, and I wouldn't be surprised if Fox and Cynric are playing up how hurt they are just to get out of this match. But we've got a tag title match, and it looks like it's going to happen!

(FINISH: Cynric and Fox go for the Dead End on Alan, but Eddie crotches Fox on the top rope and Alan rolls Cynric up with a victory roll for two. Eddie gives Fox a superplex into the middle of the ring and then goes for the Eddie Dive on Cynric. However, Cynric gets his knees up. Alan picks Cynric up, but gets a kick to the midsection. Cynric dropkicks the knee and goes for the Lift Off, but Eddie dropkicks him in the face. Fox goes for the Tail End on Eddie, but Eddie blocks it and counters into the running brainbuster. Alan puts Cynric in a bow and arrow lock, and Eddie hits the Eddie Dive onto the exposed Cynric. Alan makes the cover and gets the three count.)

Winners: Alan Mayse and Eddie Crowe

David: Crowe and Mayse have just become the first double champions in MECCA history, as they now hold all the titles in the male division! We have new MECCA Tag Team Champions!

Dick: I can't believe what we just witnessed! That running brainbuster may have knocked Fox out, and due to what he suffered earlier, rendered him unable to make the save as Alan and Eddie pull out some innovative double teaming to win the belts.

David: The championship series has come to a conclusion with only the tag team belts changing hands, but now the test begins, as Eddie and Alan not only have to defend their own singles titles, but defend the tag titles together as well. We'll see you next week fans, when we make our Baltimore debut!
