Human Tornado b. Ryan Saito

Ronin Fox b. Matt Sydal

("Neocon" opening.)

David: Welcome to the Homefront, as we are right here in MECCA's home base of the Hara Arena in Dayton, Ohio! I'm David Mills, along with Dick Broccoli, and this is Go Time! We have a great tag team main event tonight as Alan Mayse and Low Ki take on Kevin Stone and Cynric.

Dick: Also, on the heels of Nykk's return to action this past Saturday at Scared Stiff, Ronin Fox will be here to tell the world what his next move will be in this never-ending feud.

David: We'll also have a match to determine the vacated spot on the Contender Star, as John Walters of the Surgeons battles Huh of the David Caldwell Project and much more right here tonight.

("Brackish" hits and Gail Kim makes her way to the ring.)

David: We're kicking things off with the Ladies' Championship on the line, as Gail Kim has her chance to reclaim the belt she held for so long.

Dick: She covets that title more than anything in life, and the past few months have been hard for her, but I think she has a good shot, considering the grueling match that took place just days ago.

("Gangsta Bitch" hits and Shadow makes her way to the ring.)

David: Shadow wanted to do this title match tonight because it was about a year ago that Gail Kim won the Ladies' Title and basically took over leadership of the Dangerous Liaison, a group that Shadow had led in the months prior.

Dick: She told me earlier that Kim was afraid to give her a shot when she was champ, and now Shadow intends to beat her former friend right out of the gate as Ladies' Champion.

(FINISH: Shadow goes for the Interceptor, but Kim counters right into the Christo. Shadow goes for the ropes but instead just drops Kim into a backbreaker to break up the submission. They both get to their feet, and Kim hits Shadow with some forearms. She lifts her for a scoop slam, but Shadow escapes and drives the back of Kim's head into her knee. She applies the Dragon Sleeper and locks in the body scissors. After struggling for a few moments, Kim taps out.)

Winner: Shadow

David: Shadow walks away from her first successful title defense, and I guess her point has been proven, whatever it was.

Dick: She's established herself as the top force of the MECCA ladies' division, by taking down the Ladies' Champion LuFisto at Scared Stiff, and now a former champion.

David: When we come back, the winner of the Wild Card Battle Royale will be in action, as the Killer Kanines will be here.

(Backstage, Bill Bicknell is standing by with Ronin Fox.)

Bill: Ronin Fox, you are coming off a Match of the Year Candidate this past Saturday at Scared Stiff, when you came so close to winning the MECCA Championship. But unfortunately, due to a lot of outside interference, the match was thrown out and declared a No Contest.

Fox: And once again, Eddie Crowe, you escape by a hair with your title. Maybe I was a bit overzealous in getting insurance against those interfering Pyro Twins, but rest assured, Eddie, you're not off the hook yet. Because I will be the man to unseat you and claim that title for my very own. Now, as for the return of Nykk... once again, you're barking up the wrong tree, Alpha Wolf. You've been a thorn in my side ever since I started in this business, and now you want to put me out of the profession I love because of a mistake. Let me tell you, at one point in time, I was sorry about what I did to Lisa Letty, but that ship has sailed. You and I both know this is really between you and me anyway, and if I have to go through you again in order to get my rematch with Eddie, then so be it. But it won't end the way you think it will. I will be standing over your broken body, and you can just be wheeled right back into obscurity, because we were doing just fine without you.

(Commercial Break)

(In the arena, "Hit That" hits and S-Squared make their way to the ring.)

David: We're back with tag team action, as the team of Joey Sprinklers and Matt Sydal are looking to rebound after failing to win the tag titles a few weeks ago.

Dick: Speaking of titles, I've just been told that Katie Piehl has a little announcement for the next two weeks a little later on.

("Kobrakai" hits and the Killer Kanines make their way to the ring.)

David: It was Anubis who walked into the Wild Card Battle Royale at Scared Stiff and went all the way, eliminating Bryan Danielson to win, and he now gets any title shot he wants here in MECCA.

Dick: There's some speculation as to whether he'll use that to secure himself and his partner a shot at the tag titles, but they're doing so well recently that they might want to wait and see if they don't get that title match anyway.

(FINISH: Joey gives the Wild Wolf a Gory Bomb, and Sydal follows up with a standing moonsault. Joey covers and gets a two count. Sydal goes to the top rope, but Anubis crotches him on the top turnbuckle. Joey attacks Anubis and tries to whip him into the ropes, but Anubis reverses. He elevates Joey, who comes down across Wolf's knee. The Wild Wolf then scales Sydal's corner and Anubis scales the adjacent corner, and they give him the Dog Catcher. Anubis covers and gets the three count.)

Winners: The Killer Kanines

David: The Killer Kanines continue to move up the ranks, and get ever closer to those tag titles.

Dick: Can you imagine if they were to win, and then Anubis challenged Eddie Crowe for the World Title? What a year it could be for the Killer Kanines.

(Backstage, Bill Bicknell is standing by with Bryan Danielson.)

Bill: I'm here with the American Dragon, and Mr. Danielson, you came so close to winning the Wild Card Battle Royale at Scared Stiff, but in the end it was Anubis who eliminated you for the win. What are your plans now regarding the World Title?

Danielson: It's no secret that I like to call myself the Best in the World, but it hasn't quite been showing in recent months. In a battle royale filled with a bunch of scrubs, I couldn't even manage to get a win that would earn me an automatic title shot. But that's all right, because when you're a future legend, you don't just sit around and cry about your setbacks. I need some momentum on my side, so what I'm going to do is start at the very bottom of the card and work my way up into a title match. And it will happen by the end of this year, Bill Bicknell. Tonight, I'm challenging any graduate from the MECCA Training Camp to step into the ring with me. I'll show you what it is to be a wrestler, and after that, the rest of MECCA better watch out, because Bryan Danielson is on the rise again.

(Commercial Break)

(In the arena, "Did My Time" hits and Ronin Fox makes his way to the ring.)

David: We're back on Go Time, as the man who put up a hell of a fight for the MECCA Championship this past Saturday makes his way to the ring, and look at Fox rubbing it in the face of the Dayton fans that he now resides in Westminster, Colorado.

Dick: I don't know if Fox is more upset about not being the MECCA Champion or the return of Nykk. You know he has to see his career flashing before his eyes with how angry Nykk is at him.

("Hybrid Stigmata" hits and Delirious makes his way to the ring.)

David: Delirious has a tough task in front of him, though Fox has to still be sore from the epic match he had with Eddie Crowe at Scared Stiff, and this could work to Delirious's advantage.

Dick: Delirious has an opportunity to take Fox's Contender Star spot here, so he'd better make the most of it. Delirious has been known to pull off the odd upset in the past.

(FINISH: Delirious goes for Shadows Over Hell, but Fox counters with a kick to the midsection, knocking the wind out of Delirious. He pantomimes like he has the trash-masher in his hands again, and swings at Delirious, knocking him down with a double axehandle. Nykk runs out, but officials stop him from reaching the ring. Fox mocks Nykk some more, but Nykk suddenly breaks free of the officials and gets in the ring. He tackles Fox and nails him with rights as the ref calls for the bell.)

Winner: Ronin Fox

David: Delirious has just been disqualified, thanks to Nykk, who is pummeling his arch-nemesis!

Dick: It's just like Scared Stiff, David! Somebody has to stop Nykk before he takes this too far!

(Cynric runs out and nails Nykk with a kick to the face. He and Fox turn it around on him, and start stomping Nykk and kicking him. As Fox leans in and starts choking him, the Pyro Twins run out. They slide in and Fox and Cynric run for it. Jay and Dusty check on Nykk, but he shrugs them off and slides out of the ring, chasing after Fox and Cynric. Jay shrugs and gets a mic.)

Jay: Dayton, Ohio, the Pyro Twins are home, and as you just saw, we haven't forgotten about those Tag Team Championships! At Scared Stiff, we got our ultimate revenge on the UK Wrecking Crew, and now, finally, we can move on.

Dusty: You see, 2006 has been the year of the Pyro Twins, and we don't plan on stopping anytime soon. We are without question the best and most dominant tag team in the world, and we...

(Dusty cuts off to yell at Trent Acid and Johnny Kashmere, who are making their way to ringside.)

David: It's Trent Acid and Johnny Kashmere, who made his MECCA debut in the Wild Card Battle Royale on Saturday. These two are well known as the Backseat Boyz, and they surely take exception to the claim that Dusty just made.

(Acid gets a mic as they get in the ring.)

Acid: Hold on one second, Pyro Twins. You see, you two have been beating my ass for the last month in singles action on Rundown. And I know that I didn't do too well back in Math class, but even I have begun to realize that two is greater than one. So I called on my old tag team partner Johnny Kashmere, and brought him into MECCA because I want to show you and the rest of the world that you are not the greatest tag team on the planet... that's us. The Backseat Boyz. And we're not going to sneak attack you to get that point across. We're saying it right to your ugly faces. After what you two did to the UK Wrecking Crew a few days ago, some might think it's stupid to pick a fight with the mighty Pyro Twins, but we're looking at the long term picture. We're here to take your spot as the most dominant team in MECCA, and there's nothing you can do about it.

(Acid cracks Dusty in the face with the mic, and Kashmere and Jay start brawling. Jay gives him a belly-to-belly suplex, but Acid hits him with a Yakuza Kick. Dusty attacks Acid and whips him into the ropes, but Acid reverses and drops down, allowing Kashmere to spear Dusty. They pick him up and give him the T-Gimmick. They then execute the Tag Team Dream Sequence on Jay, laying him out. They pose in the corners as "The Chase" by Gorgio Moroder hits.)

David: I don't believe it, the Backseat Boyz not only picked a fight with the Pyro Twins, but they just laid them out in the middle of the ring!

Dick: The Backseats are smart. They realize that to go anywhere in the tag team division in MECCA, you have to get past Jay and Dusty. This almost ensures them a match at some point, as the Pyro Twins are not going to forget about this.

David: We'll be right back with Bryan Danielson in action!

(Commercial Break)

(In the arena, one of the MECCA Training Camp graduates is warming up in the ring when "The Final Countdown" hits and Bryan Danielson makes his way down.)

David: This match was made earlier, as the American Dragon feels the only way to get back into contention for the World Title is to build some momentum for himself. And he's starting at the bottom of the barrel.

Dick: It's the concept of baby steps. I look forward to seeing Bryan Danielson rise again.

(Danielson gets a mic.)

Danielson: Now, I know you're feeling a little nervous stepping into the ring with the best wrestler in the world, kid... but I asked around, and they told me in the back that you're the very best that the training camp has! (snickers) But these people, they don't even know your name... you know what? Never mind that. I always see about eight of you kids walking around the back, so for now, you'll just be known as Student #6, because really, you're so green that you don't even deserve a name yet. But good luck in our match, because you're going to need it.

(Danielson shakes Student #6's hand, and then slaps him in the face and stomps on him as the bell rings.)

(FINISH: Danielson easily dominates the student, who doesn't even get one offensive move in. Danielson knocks him out with a roaring forearm and then hits a Regalplex, segueing into Cattle Mutilation. The ref drops the student's hand twice, but Danielson relinquishes the hold. He pulls the kid up and starts driving elbows into the side of his head. After about five or six, the ref calls for the bell and pulls Danielson off.)

Winner: Bryan Danielson

David: Danielson easily dominated this kid, but all of that was a little excessive to take care of someone who's been in the business for a cup of coffee so far.

Dick: Danielson wanted to send a message. Maybe next week he'll put himself up against someone who actually has a name.

David: We'll have to wait and see, but up next, a spot on the Contender Star is up for grabs as Huh takes on John Walters!

(Commercial Break)

(In the arena, "Afternoon Delight" hits and the David Caldwell Project make their way to the ring.)

David: We're back with the David Caldwell Project, led by our scab of a co-owner. He claims he's going to make MECCA into a sports entertainment organization, but how he plans to do it with those other six goofs is beyond me.

Dick: Only Huh is wrestling in this match, and I can understand that Caldwell wants to be here as his manager, but what are the rest of the Project doing here?

David: You get one guess, and it starts and ends with them jumping John Walters and playing the numbers game and maybe trying to pull a fast one, just like Huh did when he revealed he wasn't blind anymore at Scared Stiff, leading to the David Caldwell Project getting the win over the Surgeons in that handicap match.

(Caldwell gets a mic.)

Caldwell: Well, well, well, it looks like we're back where the magic all began, here in Dayton, Ohio! I'll tell you what, if MECCA ever did one thing right, it was not suckling on this city's tit like a weaning babe and actually going out into the world to make something of itself! And I promise you, when MECCA finally reaches the top of the sports entertainment world, I'll make sure we never have to come back to this run down, backwater hole of a city ever again! You people are vile, this town is disgusting, and your women all look like they migrated here from the ugly tree. And speaking of the ladies... there is something very exciting coming, and it includes the ladies' division of MECCA. I'll have an announcement about that next week, and I promise you all, you will not be disappointed at this idea I've had. But for now... Surgeons, at Scared Stiff we, the David Caldwell Project, beat you fair and square in the middle of the ring, but that apparently wasn't enough. And now, the recovered, new and improved Huh is just going to have to destroy John Walters, and all you people will have to call it for the Surgeons, because they will be done.

("Body Bomb" hits and John Walters makes his way to the ring.)

David: A Contender Star spot is up for grabs here after being vacated a couple of weeks ago due to Cheesecake failing to win the World Title three times from Eddie Crowe. John Walters is inexperienced in singles competition here in MECCA, but this is an opportunity to make a name for himself right off the bat.

Dick: And you have to know that Matt Stryker is watching this somewhere, in case the David Caldwell Project tries to get involved.

(Walters tries to get at Huh, but the rest of the Project force him back. Finally, the ref makes everyone except Caldwell and Knight return to the dressing room.)

David: How about that, we're going to have a fair contest, as the referee has just ejected everyone who doesn't have a manager's license!

(FINISH: Walters hits the Hurricane DDT on Huh, but Knight gets on the apron to distract the ref. Walters confronts her as Caldwell makes his way into the ring. He hits Walters with a forearm from behind, but it doesn't even daze Walters. Caldwell turns around and celebrates, unaware that Walters is right behind him. Walters grabs Caldwell, but Huh gets up. He charges Walters, who sidesteps him. Huh stops before he crashes into Caldwell, and Walters dropkicks him into Caldwell to send him through the ropes. Walters gives Huh a lung blower and lets Huh fall to the mat. He tries to roll backwards, but Walters cradles the legs and bridges, getting the three count with a modified roll up.)

Winner: John Walters

David: John Walters has just earned a spot on the Contender Star, and you can bet that doesn't make David Caldwell a happy co-owner!

Dick: Quick thinking by Walters, turning the interference of Caldwell and Medea Knight to his own advantage. If Walters is able to stay on the Contender Star and get some more high profile wins, we could see him challenging Eddie Crowe very soon.

David: The Surgeons and the David Caldwell Project aren't done by a long shot, but right now we're going to go to Katie Piehl, who has an announcement about next week's Go Time.

(In the office, Katie Piehl is standing in front of her desk.)

Katie: Good evening, Dayton! It's always great to be back home where it all began, and we've still got the main event coming up, as Kevin Stone and Cynric team for the first time in over a year to take on the team of Alan Mayse and Low Ki. But over the next two weeks, I've got a very special opportunity lined up for our male champions. You see, we've had such strong champions here in MECCA this year that I decided they needed to be rewarded with the chance to become MECCA's first ever double champions. So next week, we will have two title matches for you. For the Toughman Title, Alan Mayse will defend against Ronin Fox. And then, in the main event, Cynric will challenge Eddie Crowe for the World Championship! But that's not all, because regardless of the outcomes of those matches, in two weeks on Go Time, it will be Ronin Fox and Cynric defending their tag titles against the team of the Toughman Champion Alan Mayse and the World Heavyweight Champion Eddie Crowe! Either of the next two weeks could be a historic night in MECCA history, and I urge you all to tune in and see if it unfolds in this championship series. Thank you all for your time, and we'll be right back with our main event.

(Commercial Break)

(In the arena, "At the End of the Rainbow" hits and Kevin Stone and Cynric make their way to the ring.)

David: Our main event is now, and this will be the first time that Kevin Stone and Cynric have teamed in over a year since their breakup.

Dick: What an ugly breakup that was, but now Cynric is one half of the tag champs and Stone is a former MECCA Champion, so I guess it worked out for them in the end.

David: And what an announcement by Katie Piehl before the break. A championship series over the next two weeks, as all our male champions have the opportunity to become the first double champions in MECCA history.

("Seven Nation Army" hits and Alan Mayse and Low Ki make their way to the ring.)

David: Alan Mayse will be defending his title against the other half of the tag champs Ronin Fox next week, but there is also this issue with Stone and Low Ki here. Both have been trying to get at each other to prove just who is the biggest bad ass since July, and at Scared Stiff, it was Kevin Stone who won the Stiff Strike Challenge for the second year in a row, stealing the victory from right under Low Ki.

Dick: Sooner or later, they'll meet one on one and we'll truly find out who is the better man.

(FINISH: Alan goes for the Maysochist on Cynric, but Cynric pushes him right into the Stone Crusher from Stone. However, Stone walks right into the Tidal Wave from Low Ki, sending him out of the ring. Cynric takes Ki down with a spinning heel kick and sets him on the top rope. He goes up for a hurricanrana, but Ki manages to push him off. Cynric lands on his feet, but Mayse kicks him and delivers the Tiger Bomb as Ki sails down onto Stone with a plancha. Mayse gets the three count.)

Winners: Alan Mayse and Low Ki

David: Low Ki and our Toughman Champion prevail, and it's onto the championship series for Alan Mayse in the next two weeks.

Dick: You know that Cynric is going to report back to Fox everything he was able to glean from wrestling Alan tonight for their match next week.

(Stone and Low Ki continue to fight in the aisle, until they're separated by officials.)

David: This Kevin Stone and Low Ki situation is exploding before our very eyes, and hopefully we'll have a way to end this soon. We'll see you next week, fans!
