Go Time: 10/18/06

Austin, TX

Quick Rundown Results:
Pyro Twins b. Bryan Danielson and Trent Acid
Misery b. Daizee Haze
Human Tornado b. Tristan Lee
UK Wrecking Crew b. Alan Mayse and Low Ki

("Neocon" opening.)

David: MECCA is making its Lone Star debut here in Austin, Texas, as we present Go Time, right here on FSN! I'm David Mills, along with my colleague Dick Broccoli, and tonight Cheesecake gets one more opportunity at the MECCA World Championship before getting tossed off the Contender Star!

Dick: We'll also see Low Ki take on Jamie Chan of the David Caldwell Project one on one.

David: We also understand that Alan Mayse has an opponent for Scared Stiff, but he might not make it to Scared Stiff as champion as he has a defense right now!

("The Final Countdown" hits and Bryan Danielson makes his way to the ring.)

David: The American Dragon is finally taking his Toughman Title match after going head to head with Mayse back on September 30 at At Your Own Risk.

Dick: Danielson may not scream tough, but believe me, this guy can take some punishment, and he can last a long time in that ring. He's very underrated in his striking ability as well.

("Seven Nation Army" hits and Alan Mayse makes his way to the ring.)

David: Of course, Danielson is a world class wrestler, and one of his favorite ways to win matches is to knock his opponents out with repeated elbows to the head, but if Alan can get past Danielson tonight, that's another prestigious title defense that only helps the belt.

Dick: Alan takes pride in being the Toughman Champion, and even considers himself to be the best singles champion in the company, World Title included.

(FINISH: Danielson applies the Crossface Chickenwing on Alan, but Alan manages to wriggle free and hit an exploder suplex. He slingshots to the apron and then hits a springboard dropkick. He goes for the Tiger Bomb, but Danielson counters into a sunset flip for a two count. Danielson is to his feet first and hits a roaring forearm, followed by a Regalplex for a close two count. He applies Cattle Mutilation, but Alan puts his feet on the ropes and manages to somersault over. Danielson keeps the arms locked as they get to their feet. Alan kicks off the corner and falls back across Danielson, pinning his shoulders down for a three count.)

Winner: Alan Mayse

David: Alan has done it once again, as he has humbled the self professed Best Wrestler in the World. What ring strategy by Alan, as he knew he couldn't count on a rope break, so he used the ropes in a different way to pick up the victory.

Dick: Danielson hasn't been doing well lately, and seems to be in a bit of a slump. This won't help matters any.

(Alan gets the mic.)

Alan: Ladies and gentlemen... first of all, give it up for Bryan Danielson. He's one hell of a wrestler, and he's definitely been one of my hardest opponents.

(Danielson flips Alan off and leaves the arena, disgusted.)

Alan: Anyway, as you all know, last week I issued an open challenge for Scared Stiff against anyone in the world. And I'm happy to say that over the course of the week my challenge was accepted, and you will see a Toughman Title defense in Richmond. My opponent is a former ECW World Champion... and he comes to us from the great wrestling country of Japan... he is none other than one of the toughest SOBs ever in wrestling... and at Scared Stiff it will be myself vs. Masato Tanaka!

David: Whoa! What a huge announcement. Masato Tanaka is coming to MECCA to challenge for the Toughman Title!

Dick: Huge announcement indeed, an ECW and FMW alumnus challenging for the MECCA Toughman Title... it doesn't get any better than that.

David: When we come back, one half of the MECCA Tag Team Champions Cynric will be in action. Stay with us!

(Commercial Break)

(In the arena, "Cool" hits and the Human Tornado makes his way to the ring.)

David: We're back on Go Time, and huge news that Masato Tanaka has accepted the open challenge of Alan Mayse for Scared Stiff, and we understand that should he win the title, he will be signed for subsequent US dates so that he can defend it.

Dick: Right now, though, the Human Tornado is hamming it up with the fans, but I don't think that's the greatest idea with who he's facing.

("Soul Creation" hits and Cynric makes his way to the ring.)

David: One half of the tag champs, Cynric will be involved in the Stiff Strike Challenge at Scared Stiff, along with Low Ki, Kevin Stone, and a fourth participant yet to be named.

Dick: It should be cringe inducing, to say the least.

(FINISH: Cynric dominates most of the match, but Tornado comes back on him with a spinning clothesline. He kicks at Cynric, who catches his foot. He throws it away, only to have Tornado hit him with a spinning wheel kick. He covers and gets a two count. Tornado whips Cynric into the corner, but Cynric reverses. Tornado jumps to the second turnbuckle and vaults backward into a body press, but Cynric catches him. He rams him upside down into the corner and ties him up in the tree of woe. He gives him some roundhouse kicks to the head and chest, and then hits a spinning back kick to the midsection. Tornado falls out of the corner, and Cynric snapmares him over, kicking him directly in the spine. Tornado gets to one knee, but Cynric comes off the ropes with the Lift Off, knocking him out. He covers and gets the three count.)

Winner: Cynric

David: Cynric showed exactly why he's in the Stiff Strike Challenge, as he may have knocked Tornado out completely.

Dick: Cynric is definitely a killer, but he'll have to contend with three of the other stiffest competitors in MECCA on October 28.

David: Up next, the match that was made last week, as Low Ki takes on Jamie Chan!

(Backstage, Bill Bicknell is standing by with Bryan Danielson.)

Bill: Bryan Danielson, you came close to winning the Toughman Title earlier, but once again you lost to Alan Mayse. How are these recent losses affecting your game in the ring?

Danielson: Bill, you know and I know that every wrestler that's ever stepped foot in the ring goes through their slumps. And it looks like I'm in one right now. But as the best wrestler in the world, I can't have that. I'm going to make it up to everyone real soon, and throw these losses back in their face. You'll see.

(Commercial Break)

(In the arena, "Still More Fighting" hits and Jamie Chan makes his way to the ring, along with David Caldwell.)

David: We're back on Go Time, and a couple of weeks ago the David Caldwell Project took an inordinate amount of time talking about nothing on this program, and Low Ki put a stop to it, eventually knocking out Ryan Saito, who still isn't back to work.

Dick: But tonight his tag team partner is going to try his luck.

("Fighter's Passion" hits and Low Ki makes his way to the ring.)

David: Despite his small frame, Low Ki is still a very intimidating individual, as he is fluent in several different fighting styles. I have a feeling we're going to see a repeat of two weeks ago.

Dick: I heard Low Ki boasting earlier that he can use the practice tonight for the Stiff Strike Challenge.

(FINISH: Low Ki hits the Tidal Crush on Chan, who falls to the mat. Low Ki goes for the Dragon Clutch, but Caldwell gets on the apron. Ki and the ref turn their attention to him as Kevin Stone runs down. He slides in, and Low Ki sees him. However, before he can confront him, Chan gives him a stiff back heel kick to the back of the head, and Ki stumbles right into the Stone Crusher from Stone. Chan covers as the ref turns around and gets the three count.)

Winner: Jamie Chan

David: I don't believe it, Chan with a BS victory over Low Ki thanks to Caldwell and Kevin Stone. What the hell was that!?

Dick: That was victory and a spot on the Contender Star for Jamie Chan, but you know that Ki's going to be pissed when he wakes up!

(Caldwell gets a mic as Stone leaves.)

Caldwell: Hey, Low Ki, it looks like you've met the fourth participant in the Stiff Strike Challenge on Ocbtober 28! And Jamie Chan is going to show you, the guy that just left and Cynric just how stiff a competitor he truly is! But that's not the only match the David Caldwell Project is going to be involved in at Scared Stiff. You see, John Walters and Matt Stryker, you two have been a thorn in my side since you got here, and I know you want Stage One in the ring one more time. But you're not going to get it! Because at Scared Stiff, since you've handicapped two of my guys, we'll just make it a handicap match. The Surgeons will take on Huh and the CDT live on pay-per-view! And I know that they're itching to get their hands...

("Body Bomb" hits and the Surgeons make their way toward the ring. However, halfway there, they get jumped by Ryan Saito, and Jamie Chan comes out to help him brawl with Walters and Stryker.)

David: I guess Ryan Saito's back after all, as he's helping his partner put the boots to the Surgeons!

(They take the fight into the ring, where the Surgeons take the advantage. They give Chan a double flapjack, and then give Saito the Human Error. However, Huh and the CDT walk out from the curtain and head toward the ring. Huh is still blindfolded, Concession Boy's jaw is taped shut, and Dreamo is wearing a collar around his neck like a dog with hurt ears would wear. They jump the Surgeons, and the David Caldwell Project beats them down. Caldwell makes the sound guy play "Afternoon Delight" as they stomp away on Walters and Stryker.)

Dick: It looks like the David Caldwell Project is here in full force after all, handicaps included!

David: We need to get some help out here, so let's take a commercial break. Ladies' tag action when we come back, fans!

(Officials come out to separate Caldwell's troops and the Surgeons.)

(Commercial Break)

(In the arena, "What You Waiting For" by Gwen Stefani hits and LuFisto and Kelly Schweickart make their way to the ring.)

David: We finally got David Caldwell and company cleared out of here, and we're ready to get back to the action here on Go Time!

Dick: What better way to wash the taste of that last segment out of our mouths than with the Ladies' Champion and Kelly Schweickart... I don't think that came out right.

("Gangsta Bitch" hits and Shadow and Misery make their way to the ring.)

David: Shadow told me earlier this evening that she plans on getting the win over the Ladies' Champion to prove that she can beat her.

Dick: That doesn't necessarily mean anything, as Zoe Alexander got the best of the champ for weeks last month, but couldn't get the job done when it came time for her title match.

(FINISH: Kelly hits Misery with a hardway suplex and ducks the Interceptor from Shadow, kicking her in the midsection. She whips her into LuFisto, who picks her up in a firewoman's carry for the LuFisto Launcher. Shadow escapes and dropkicks her into Kelly. She goes for the Interceptor on LuFisto, but LuFisto counters into LuFisto's Law. After a few moments, Shadow taps out.)

Winners: LuFisto and Kelly Schweickart

David: The Ladies' Champion just went over her challenger for Scared Stiff clean! This is going to get into the head of Shadow, I guarantee it.

Dick: Of course, if she can't beat her in a tag match, what hope does she have when they meet on pay-per-view? We know that Shadow has the talent to do it, but she has to believe it too.

David: We'll be back after this short break.

(Commercial Break)

(Backstage, Bill Bicknell is standing by with LuFisto.)

Bill: LuFisto, you have to be very confident going into Scared Stiff in just ten days, because you just beat your challenger Shadow in a tag match.

LuFisto: Confidence doesn't begin to describe it, Bill, but don't think I'm taking Shadow lightly. You're tough as nails and a chore to work with, Shadow, but mark my words, just like tonight, I'm walking out of Scared Stiff with my hand raised. Because as good as you are, you still can't take this belt from me. And believe me, that doesn't make you a bad competitor, it just makes you like everyone else!

(In the office, Katie Piehl is standing in front of her desk, facing the camera.)

Katie: Good evening, fans of MECCA! This is one of your co-owners, Katie Piehl, here by herself since her new partner can't seem to grasp the concept of announcing things and building them up to where people want to see them happen. Because at Scared Stiff, live in ten days, there are a lot of worthy names who won't be on the card. So I decided to throw these men a bone, and reintroduce a concept known as the Wild Card Battle Royale. What that means is twenty men will be in that ring who are not on the Contender Star, and the winner will outlast nineteen others going over the top rope and will win the right to claim any title shot he desires at a future date. Now, there will be a wide range of competitors in this match, from MECCA mainstays, to people not with the company, to students from the training camp. But rest assured, the cream will rise to the top, and he will have the right to go for gold. We have one more commercial break coming up right now, but when we come back, it's our World Title main event!

(Commercial Break)

(In the arena, "Filthy/Gorgeous" hits and Cheesecake makes his way to the ring, along with Coquette.)

David: It's time for our main event, and we've seen this match twice in the last two weeks, as Cheesecake has one final opportunity to win the MECCA Championship.

Dick: And due to the rules of the Contender Star, if he doesn't win the belt tonight, he'll have to enter that Wild Card Battle Royale at Scared Stiff, because he'll be SOL.

David: Judging from the fans' reactions, they're just about sick of seeing Cheesecake go after this belt, so it's definitely do or die time.

("Noots" hits and Eddie Crowe makes his way to the ring.)

David: Our MECCA World Champion is looking to walk into Scared Stiff with the belt, though there's a chance we could see Fox vs. Cheesecake headlining that event.

Dick: Eddie seems pretty focused on Fox recently, and that could be Cheesecake's opening to do what he needs to get the job done.

Jared: Ladies and gentlemen, this is your Go Time main event! This contest, scheduled for one fall, is for the MECCA World Heavyweight Championship... again. To my left, the challenger... from Bellbrook, Ohio, and weighing in at 230 lbs... he is a former MECCA Tag Team Champion... Cheeeeesecaaaaake! And his opponent... also from Bellbrook, Ohio... weighing in at 195 lbs... he is the current reigning and defending MECCA World Heavyweight Champion... Eddieeeee Crooooooowe!

(FINISH: Eddie goes for the Eddie Dive, but Cheesecake moves. Eddie lands on his feet, but Cheesecake hits him with a lungblower. He covers and gets a two count. He goes for the Screw-Driver, but Eddie counters into a victory roll. He rolls through with it, and brings Cheesecake to his feet, giving him a running brainbuster. He covers and gets the three count.)

Winner: Eddie Crowe

David: That's it? Well, Eddie Crowe just got the pin over Cheesecake with a running brainbuster, one of his setup moves, but it looks like it knocked Cheesecake for a loop.

Dick: Cheesecake is now off the Contender Star, and we'll have a match in the future to determine who takes his spot.

(As Eddie poses with the belt, Ronin Fox runs down and slides into the ring. He clotheslines Eddie from behind and takes the belt. He goes to hit Eddie with it, but Eddie ducks and dropkicks the belt back into Fox's face. He hits Fox with right hands and whips him into the ropes, but Fox grabs the top rope and slides out of the ring. They stare each other down as Fox backs up the aisle.)

David: Fox's attempt to catch Eddie in a sneak attack didn't work so well as it did two weeks ago, as Eddie just sent Fox away with his tail between his legs!

Dick: The MECCA Champion learned better after last time, and wasn't about to fall for the same thing twice.

David: He's now in the clear to defend the title against Fox at Scared Stiff on October 28. Thank you for joining us, fans, and we'll see you next week here on FSN!
